Appearance: Apart from being unusually tall, and the pitchfork on his tongue Hendrik looks like a normal human. Well and ofcourse there are his eyes and hair
Personality: Hendrik is rather methodical in his actions. Usually weighing out pro's and con's before taking action. Hendrik usually describes himself as a calm, hardworking and rational individual. This is also seen in his attitude towards others. He tries to avoid conflict with others, some people see this as cowerdice, however Hendrik is of opinion that this is the best course of action.
On the other side, Hendrik can come off rather cold and blunt, that is if he does not think of you as a way to further his plans. If you could be used he can be persuasive, manipulative or otherwise.
Due to his powers, has a photograpic memory, which tends to help out a lot with everyday chores and the like. Can speak, write, understand and read a multitude of different languages. Plays the violin.
Combat Skills Apart from very basic hand to hand combat. Furthermore he's basically all about talking.
Equipment A multitude of notepads, pencils and other writing material. A backpack which seems to be an endless void considering what he pulls out of it.
Silvertongued: Hendrik is well versed in the way of the word, usually knowing what he has to say to get his way. This also allows his to make certain sounds which normally would not be easy to make.
Eidetic memory: Hendrik has a Eidetic memory, better known as photograpic memory, allowing for perfect recall since he could see.
Natural people reader: Due to his manipulative powers, his photgrapic memory and his usual role as a face. Hendrik has learned the knowhow of reading people and pushed it to the extremes.
Creatures immune to charms are immune to Hendriks silvertongued ability. They won't be listing to whatever he has to say, and tend to frustrate Hendrik.
His Eiditic memory has a natural downside, he remembers everything and is unable to forget things. So visions of horrifying causes and the likes also stay with him.
Hendrik has apart from very minimal training in hand to hand, no use in combat apart from reading his enemies. He has to be protected to not get killed if talking does not work.

Personality Rin is soft spoken,generous and quite deadpan due to a series of traumatic events making her the cheerful yet reserved person she is today. She has a sharp tongue which often trigger the ticks out of people and she knows it herself, this insensitive display of being truthfully bitter is her principle in life to overcome biases and conflict. Her loyalty is well delivered to whoever she pledges herself, Rin sees the world in a grayscale and is willing to dirty her hands to get the job done but prefers not to.
People often find themselves under a limbo of rejection with her supernatural beauty, Rin struggles from the unwanted attention despite knowing how to control the scenario as there are things that don't go her way. In her point of view, her beauty is both a blessing and a curse, it may help her get by the labors of life yet it doesn't help her from unwanted attention hence her thick layered outfits and a mask to conceal her face. She has a profound dislike in lewd topics given her unwanted disposition, Rin would immediately avoid and change the topic immediately therefore also showing condescending attitude towards those who are fond of it.

Her supernatural beauty is worth a lot of money that even the likes of sculpturist and artists will do anything to win her over. This job is done at night and sometimes when business needs calls but beyond her beauty, Rin has a talent with wordplay and speeches.
Combat Skills Don't be fooled by how beautiful Rin is. She isn't just reliant on her mutant abilities, coming from her family of ninja farmers, she honed her finesse in ninja warfare as a child soldier torn under a war. Rin never forsaken her identity in the foreign land where she is now and still practices Kunoichi techniques contrary to her dislike of lewdness, she is still a virgin who is knowledgeable about such things. Likewise in combat, Rin's a projectile specialist skilled in archery and any projectile weapon, she aces in espionage missions.

Powers Yuki-Onna Physiology - The incarnating of the Snow Maiden folklore.
⚫ Heat Absorption. Rin can deprive the life force of her targets upon physical contact and Rob them off of thermal energy. This also applies to the natural environment, as a result, the after effects of heat absorption causes her environment in a wintry area and her targets to suffer hypothermia and frostbite.
⚫ Ice Constructs. Rin expels the absorbed heat she stored into shapes of ice, the absorbed heat acts as her source of heat tank.
⚫ Mystic Beauty. The abstract nature of her ability is to conceptually freeze concepts and that is particularly achieved by her supernatural beauty. The main concept that Rin freezes is the exclusion of thoughts which therefore leaves her victims induced in focused eye candy and the chemical compound of their lusts.
Weaknesses ⚫ Rin cannot absorb heat that is 40 degrees Celsius(She needs to determine the temperature she absorbs) and above for it will kill her and beyond that is her moral compass as much as her pragmatism calls, Rin will not feed on civilians nor teammates. The more she expels ice Constructs, the faster she causes herself to frost which already limits her ability to spam ice. Last but not the least, her mystic beauty is simply overcome by will-power, it will not work on those who are asexual hence it cannot work when she wears too much clothes.
⚫ Rin to a fault is truly a generous person despite the deceitful ability that she's born with. She firmly fights and stays loyal to her code, it's as if she is a puppet with little boundaries. Her complex existence is already flawed due to her chivalry in loyalty, in the modern world, she is akin to "best bro".
For instance, she knew well that the circus owner needed money to feed his family, Rin generously negotiates and sets boundaries, it's a wonder that she's still a virgin. She knows her boundaries but her genuine generosity gets the better of her.
Mutant's Mark ⚫ Dante's arms and legs are naturally scarred in a way that looks like his veins are accented, much like a lightening scar. The veins are a dark red and trickle from his shoulders to his finger tips as well as his thighs to the tips of his toes.
Appearance ⚫ Dante is lean, yet muscularly toned with generally unkempt dark hair and is almost never clean shaven, looking stubbly on his best days and akin to a homeless vagrant on his worst. ⚫ He keeps his wardrobe simple and functional, preferring long sleeves and pants to help hide his abnormality. He is not one for extravagance nor does he feel the need to impress others with his appearance. ⚫ He has dark bags under his eyes, giving evidence to his insomnia.
Personality ⚫ Dante is a fan of gambling and competition in general. ⚫ He is initially timid around new people but once you win over his trust, he can be an extremely loyal companion. ⚫ When he is tired, which is quite often, he can become snarky and sarcastic. On a day where he is more well rested and content, he can be quite compassionate and empathetic. ⚫ He is not afraid to be alone, though he does prefer the company of others. He recognizes that being part of a team as well as being your own person both have their advantages. ⚫ Dante can be underhanded and sneaky as a means of self preservation. He does not wish ill will upon others as a policy, but if your goals hinder his, he will always choose his first.
Everyday Skills ⚫ Dante is a gifted picker of locks and pockets, both of which he employs regularly to make ends meet and fill his stomach. ⚫ He is also quite adept at moving stealthily in addition to being gifted in the art of camouflage.
Combat Skills ⚫ When in combat, Dante is does not employ much finesse, instead usually letting his adrenaline take hold. His fighting style could be best described as a berserk flurry of rage. All offense, very little defense. ⚫ Dante is adept at bladed weapons, usually opting for the ones nature has given him as oppose to ones made by man.
Equipment ⚫ Dante carries very little on his person other than a money bag and a satchel that straps over his shoulder for various storage purposes. He almost always carries flint as well in case he ever has to camp outside.
Powers ⚫ Bio Morphing/Shapeshifting ⚫ Dante's appendages, primarily (but not limited to) his arms, hands and fingers are able to be genetically modified at will, changing size, shape and even material. Specifically, Dante can modify them to stretch in length into a sort of tendril and transform parts or all of them into a durable metallic substance akin to steel. ⚫ There are various applications for his transformations ranging from a tendril with a bladed tip (which can act as a grapple, a harpoon or a razor sharp whip), his fingers can be modified to act as lock picks (for instance), or he can transform his entire arm into a malleable bio-sword. ⚫ His appendages, specifically, can heal at an accelerated rate. If his arm were to be severed, he'd have a fresh one within days. He also had advanced control over the biology of said appendages meaning he can clot and close wounds that they endure at will.
Weaknesses ⚫ He cannot currently change his entire body. His torso, abdomen and face are mostly human in description and his most vulnerable areas. ⚫ While Dante has some fairly useful features, he is not immune to pain or damage. If you strike a sword at the hilt, the hilt may become dented, but it's still a usable sword. If you strike Dante's at the hilt, his arm is likely to come off. ⚫ Dante is vulnerable to all the dangers that a typical human would face. His abilities grant him some offensive and utility advantages but they provide very little in extraordinary defense. You engulf him in flame, and he will burn. You encase him in ice and it will lead to frostbite and ultimately death. While his abilities sound fantastical, he might as well just be a guy with a biological Swiss army knife, which doesn't make him much more of a threat than a regular human with bladed weapons.
⚫ Raised by a sect of Shaolin monks who were abolished due to resistance against Mongol rule. He fled to the west, where he was eventually picked up by a traveling circus, which, in turn, led to Cloud Reach.

Xiao, was called "Monkey" for a reason. As a monkey is often depicted, he is quite mischievous, playful, and kind. He's clever and talkative, with a friendly atmosphere that latches onto the good spirits of those around him. Xiao comes across as simple-minded and childlike in stature. Though, that is merely the outer layer. On the inside, he is actually pretty contemplative and reserved in a way counter-intuitive to how he portrays himself.
He knows when the time to take things much more seriously is, and his knowledge of it is characterized by silence. He is rather humble typically views others above him; "better refined, better looking, better intelligent," etc.
Duo to Xiao's instinctive connection to nature and animals, he finds himself more attuned with his care for them above most regular people. He isn't one to shy away from a physical confrontation when it comes down to it, and is always ready to put the skills he's learned to the test. With that in mind, though, he doesn't actively seek out conflict.
While his acrobatical abilities do draw a large crowd, his comedic nature tends to entertain just as well. He was, effectively, the 'clown' of the circus, where he is often free to go about his antics without much consequence.
He is also very good at packing things. It's said that he could pile an entire town on the back of a cart a mile high without it falling.
Another is his tracking capablities, as his sense of smell in combination with several other factors enabling him to find things where many others may not be able.
Xiao is a capable fighter. His prowess lies in hand-to-hand combat as his most proficient skill, being taught in particularly the Animal Styles of Wushu. As obvious as it seems now, the easiest form for him to use is that of monkey style, however he is also skilled in his use of other animals and blending the forms together into his own style. Because of this training though, he has a heavy preference to get up close and personal with his opponents. He'll evade and taunt them, effectively playing with them to gauge how it would be best to defeat them.
Other than the clothes on his back, the only remnant of his master was his old walking stick. Don't be fooled though, it is quite heavy and can be used as a weapon if need be.
⚫ Xiao's physiology is very different from most people. Although looking like a costumed person in some cases, he is a true child of the wild. He possesses the strength of an elephant, the senses of a bird of prey, the speed of a wildcat, and the heart of a man.
⚫ Of course, while all the other things are cool, his most apparent abilities trace from his primate roots. He is highly agile, a master climber and very flexible. Along with this, his tail is very dextrous and he can hold things with it.
⚫ Xiao can communicate with animals of all sorts, from the tallest giraffe to the smallest ant. This in turn, makes it much easier for him to tame them and aid others in terms of their relationships with nature's inhabitants. He can also impose the will of his humanly conscious mind to make them do what he wants, though he doesn't often desire to.
⚫ Despite his many abilites, some of them require upkeep to maintain top condition. This would mean regular exercise and eating a lot of food as an animal would. Balancing these two things is also very important, as eating too much without as much movement could lead to hibernation, while the alternative will leave him burned out very quickly.
⚫ A lot of his poise and agility relies on his tail. Any damage to it will effect his balance, as it is the main thing that allows him to walk upright opposed to crouching or walking on all fours. The status of his tail determines his mobility to a fault.
⚫ When it comes to his interactions with animals, he has to be careful which he attempts his mental compulsion on. This is because of the fact that too much interaction with them could result in his own instincts taking over. Should that happen, he'd be in a state where he's more bestial than cognizant for a certain amount of time. This compulsion does not work on humans.
Benny prefers to wear baggy clothing to allude to a larger frame. His hair is most often left messy, as any attempts at styling weigh it down to the point of it being a greaseball. His pale skin is often blushed at the cheeks. Aside from his hair and his nearly translucent skin, he's quite normal in the way of looks.
Benjamin's inherent nature is extremely kind. While he holds opinions, he does his best not to express them in overbearing, rude ways. He'll always lend a helping hand to someone in need, and prefers talk before a fight ensues. His moral compass is open, as he believes everything is ever-changing. He's also naturally good at delegating, or bossing people around, mostly due to his compassionate nature and ability to be kind when commanding.
⚫Benjamin has been complimented for his skills in public speaking. ⚫Benjamin is a good cook, and can make a nice meal with just about anything.
Benjamin prefers to stay on the defensive, using his fast reflexes and developed blocking tactics to his advantage. He's best as a support, using his ability to block the opponent's line of sight.
⚫Benjamin carries a wooden staff as his main weapon.
Powers ⚫ Benjamin's ability is creating "clouds". His sweat is notably different than the average person's, as when it is secreted it becomes gaseous, but remains dense enough to float in the air for long periods of time. It holds no odor, though the gas it forms is an opaque white color. ⚫ Benjamin is able to control his sweat secretion, and where it is located.
Weaknesses ⚫ Whenever Benjamin forms his clouds, he is just as unable to see through them as the next person. ⚫ Once Benjamin creates a cloud, he is unable to manipulate its shape and unable to take away from it. It lingers until the sweat dissipates entirely, which can take anywhere from ten minutes to an hour.

⚫ Constance's body is her Mark. Her skin is rough and grainy like stone.
Constance is average when it comes to her garb. She dresses normally for the era, without putting much thought into her clothing. She doesn't accessorize, and since all makeup looks like grit on her skin she doesn't use that, either. Her eyes glow a bright orange color. Her hair is glittery and dark, similar to obsidian, and takes ages to grow but doesn't split easily.
Constance is remarkably easy to get along with. She's adaptable, and it usually only takes her a few interactions before she's figured out how to interact with someone. She's able to find her happy place easily, not one to overreact. She doesn't have much in the way of opinions, going with the flow and following whatever path she's placed on. If she's ever partnered with someone who's indecisive, she'll do her best to step up to the plate, but that usually leads to her following instinct rather than mapping things out.
⚫Constance is able to keep her space tidy. ⚫She's good at meditating and regulating most of her emotions. ⚫Constance is particularly good at dancing, especially leading.
When in combat, Constance is usually on the offensive. She fights with her hands when it calls for it, but is often seen utilizing daggers. Her body is made for fighting and being a 'meat-shield', for lack of a better term. She doesn't back down easily, and will continue to brutalize an enemy until the fight has been unarguably won. Fighting is when her pent-up aggression comes out, and it takes a lot to come back down from the high.

Powers ⚫ Constance's skin is as durable as stone, and has no sensation. If someone were to hit her with their bare hand, she wouldn't be affected. Nor would she feel it. ⚫ Constance's blood is like magma. When it spills, it hardens on the outside of her body to form a secondary shell similar to obsidian.
Weaknesses ⚫While Constance has extremely durable skin, her insides are still squishy. If someone can bash her enough, she'll experience internal damage. Her skin also cracks and becomes less resistant upon being pierced. ⚫ Being unable to feel when she's taking damage can be a bonus, but it also means that she doesn't know when to stop. ⚫ Constance's blood doesn't harden instantaneously, it takes about five-ten minutes before a soft shell is formed. It also can't harden when heated.

Mutant's Mark At this point, Shimon’s “mutant mark” has enveloped his entire body...
Appearance Shimon was once a normal-looking adolescent boy, albeit perhaps a bit on the lanky side. Ever since he started to lose control of his powers, he has begun to take on more and more of a plantlike appearance. The vast majority of his body has been consumed and replaced with plant matter, with massive wooden branches and braided vines now acting as his limbs. He is a hulking mass of green, with his limbs having been completely replaced and most of his torso also having succumb to the rot. What remains of his original form is tainted with green and blanketed by moss.
“Shimon” is still the same entity that he was before all of this took place, and he has not suffered any cognitive decline as a result of his mutation, but even his vital organs are now little more than husks out of which new, plantlike structures grow. Shimon wonders if he will still be the same, if he will still remember all that he is if the plants begin to encroach upon his brain...
Personality Shimon did not come to the academy of his own free will. In fact, he rather wanted to stay in Bohemia, and as a result bears some resentment towards the academy's staff and institutions for what he perceives as being trapped here. He tends to stay firmly rooted (literally) in the underground garden with a stack of books.
Shimon is not antisocial, but he is incredibly guarded due to past interactions with outsiders. Once someone subverts these expectations of maltreatment, he can be quite the chatterbox, and will gladly open up about his past or rant and rave about his passions to anyone willing to listen. In spite of his dry and occasionally biting sense of humour, he really does just want some friends. He’s been severely starved for affection since he was taken from his home, barring his rapport with the other plant-based mutants.
Everyday Skills Shimon is an intellectually gifted individual with a near-encyclopedic knowledge on a wide variety of topics including theology, agriculture, plant biology and other disparate fields. Once he gets going on a topic he knows a lot about, it can be difficult to shut him up.
Shimon can speak, read and write six languages (English, German, Yiddish, Czech, Arabic and Hebrew), and boasts a surprisingly comprehensive culinary knowledge, one which his new form sadly does not allow him to take advantage of.
Shimon is... not a fighter. Or at least, not a very good one. Given the nature of his powers, he doesn’t really need to act with much skill on the battlefield; there are few things that can truly take him out, and most enemies can simply be smashed to submission with his massive tree-trunk arms. He can also summon vines from the earth to attack and entangle his opponents, but this is much harder than simply smashing the enemy or extending the vines on his arm.
Shimon couldn’t wear or make use of equipment even if he wanted to. He owns very little aside from his school supplies and a few keepsakes he had with him when he was taken from his home.
Powers More Plant Than Man: It would be a stretch to call Shimon’s biology “human-like” at this point. Most of his body is now vegetable matter. Bones and blood are a thing of the past for him, and he is perfectly capable of getting all the nutrition he needs from photosynthesis alone. He does not need to sleep so long as he remains rooted, has regenerative capabilities, and is even able to slowly grow back a limb should he be unfortunate enough for one of them to get lopped off. These new appendages are just as functional as any human arm or leg when it comes to locomotion, although fine motor manipulation would require Shimon to employ a cavalcade of writhing vines.
With A Little Help From My Friends: Shimon has developed symbiotic relationships with several smaller organisms. It is not uncommon to see small birds and squirrels perched on the hulking mutant to help him fight off termites and the like. There are also several different types of fungi on his body that allow him to glean some benefit from decaying organic matter, although this does cause him to smell like a literal compost heap. Even predator animals generally regard him as a plant, and as such will not bother him.
The Whomping Willow: Shimon’s limbs and skin have the same texture and strength as sturdy tree bark. Not only can he take a beating, but this gives him juggernaut-like strength that he can use to simply smash through all but the hardest of targets. Unless it can stand up to a tree trunk being hurled at it, don’t expect it to stand up to Shimon.
One With Nature (Literally): Shimon can control the growth of plants and manipulate their movement. Any plant that Shimon has incorporated into his being he can plant and replicate, causing to grow immensely quickly by rapidly drawing on surrounding water and pushing their roots deeper to find more nutrients in previously-untapped soil. Once separated from their roots, these plants thankfully decompose quickly, returning the much-needed nutrients to the earth. Prior to the mutation taking over his body, Shimon used this power to feed entire villages of people.
Weaknesses Firewood: A tree is hardy, but a sharpened ax can cut through it all the same. Fire is particularly devastating, especially if Shimon has not rejuvenated or replaced his body in a long time. On a particularly hot and dry day, a single spark could set his entire body ablaze like... well, like a tree on a hot and dry summer day.
Pestilence: Shimon is vulnerable to pests and blights that would plague other plants. Unfortunately, his only options to deal with these blights are to burn or cut away the infected area, or enlist the help of small animals and other mutants.
Taking A Dirt Nap: Shimon’s natural regenerative ability can take hours or even days to fully run its course. During this time, he typically stays motionless, vulnerable in a near-comatose state. His body must put down roots, and requires all the things that a plant would. Usually in order to facilitate this, Shimon will partially bury himself in soil or soak in murky water. He does not get along well with the academy’s cleaning staff. He can usually mask the smell of rotting organic matter and manure with flowers... somewhat.
He Breathes Through His Skin: Shimon cannot wear clothes, coverings or armour of any kind, as it would negatively impact his ability to photosynthesize. This effectively rules out the possibility of non-plantoid disguises.
Salad Fingers: Shimon is simply not dextrous in his current state. Even when his limbs are not overgrown, he has serious difficulty performing simple tasks like picking up small objects and walking through doors. Wielding a weapon would be practically impossible for him, and so he is forced to rely on brute strength.
I Can’t Stop It...: Perhaps the greatest drawback of Shimon’s powers is the effect they have had on his own body. Gradually, more and more of his flesh and bone were consumed by this vegetable mass, until very little of Shimon remained. Shimon cannot reverse the growth of his own body. He can slow it, to be sure, but the only way he has found to reduce his own size down to something manageable is to have someone manually cut or burn away the excess plant matter. While this ultimately does not harm Shimon, it causes him immense pain. It is possible he may figure out a way to overcome this weakness in the future, but for now, such a cure eludes him...

Ciara’s whole body is her mutant mark.
Ciara’s mother described her to be living fire, both in its best and worst form. Overall her shape is human with a thin and light build. But that’s where her human similarities seem to end. Her hair seems to be a pixie cut most of the time but lengthens when angry.
At her default mood, her skin is primarily black. There are yellow and red magma veins running over the cracks on the surface. These lines give off a faint glow in the darkness. Her hair is lazy smoke rising and appears to be a short cut. Her pupils and irises are the same color, being a bright yellow. The eyeballs themselves are a deep red. Her ears curve into forked pointed fashion, attaching the bottom to her jawline. Large patches of her body are a slight off black in color, every single one a scar from her abusive past.
At her angriest, Ciara’s fire engulfs her whole body and burns everything away. She still retains a human-like appearance, but it’s more like a living flame than blood and flesh. Her veins seeming to hold no blood at all when she bleeds. It still weakens her when she is hit and suffers damage.
Her usual outfit are on practical and traditional unless she’s working in the forge. When traveling, she’ll wear plain white and brown dresses that fall down to her feet. They are firm fitting to her body enabling mobility as she works. On her feet are well worn and second hand down boots. In the forge, she switches out her dress for a tunic and breeches. Often she’s covered in soot due to her fire element.
🔥Short Temper: Ciara has a short, Irish temper like her father. It doesn’t take much to get her started, but she quickly burns out. She doesn’t hold a grudge against others. She struggles the most with this negative trait of her personality since it’s not hard to get her riled up.
🔥 Mask: Ciara doesn’t let her sorrow or pain show past her demeanor. She tries to be an assertive and strong type, but it’s not easy. Especially when trying to do it every day. Most know her to be a bundle of energy and a little moody.
🔥Craving Normalcy: Ciara wishes she could have a normal life and carving the simple things. So any time she can practice or receive it, she is grateful. Even if she doesn't say so. There is a small acknowledgment at the back of her brain that she knows it won’t last.
🔥Emotional: Ciara’s emotional state can flip between hot and calm rather easily. She can burn hot and fast one moment, then chill the next one. Most describe personality as being extrovert since her emotions affect her drastically. When she’s angry to sad, you can easily tell it based on her reactions.
🔥Cooking: Ciara has a pretty good cooking skill and improved by the academy. With each meal, she puts great pride in it. It shows since she’s made many simple, but delicious meals. Her favorite dishes happen to be spicy or roasted.
🔥Cleaning: Being heavily independent, Ciara has learned to keep a certain level of cleanliness with her things. This includes the forge, kitchen, and her own room. Sometimes she’ll help others for a small fee or favor.
🔥Basic Sewing: After flaming her clothing so many times, Ciara has learned to make her own clothing. Else she would be running naked around the academy for everyone to see.
🔥Black Smithing: Ciara did gain some basics in blacksmithing when her father made her help him around the shop. At this point, she’s still a very young apprentice, but her skills are edging to a craftsman. In the following years, she has learned to make lots of things. From common tools like nails and horseshoes to weapons like arrowheads and swords. She takes great pride in this.
🔥Basic Survival Skills: She has a basic idea of how to survive in woodlands, snowy landscapes, and deserts. Granted, she will admit she needs help in remembering the information.
🔥Basic Reading, Writing, and Math: All students learned this, but Ciara never enjoyed the math part. She needs others to double-check her addition or subtraction because the numbers are rarely right.
🔥 Close Quarter Combat: Thanks to the teachers at the school, Ciara has learned a style that fits her. It mixes martial arts, common brawling, and her fire traits into an offensive style.
🔥Leather satchel: Large over the shoulder bag for carrying things.
🔥Sewing Kit: Bone needles, catgut thread, and other equipment to patch up rips and tears in clothing. In emergencies, it can be used to stitch up wounds.
🔥2-3 sets of similar clothing: A precaution since her temper can get out of control and result in unwanted exposure. Ciara might not be ashamed of her body, but she’s not the type to flash everyone her goods.
🔥Blacksmith set: A simple hammer, pliers, and few other hand tools for any smithing occasion.
🔥Creation of Fire: Ciara is a human embodiment of fire thus enabling her to create her own fire. She stores inside until she calls it forth with her fire manipulation. As a result, her body temperature on average is hotter. Her surface ranges from a heated stone to produce flames strong enough to make 3rd-degree burns on contact. She is not harmed by outside sources of fire. She can touch, walkthrough, and stand in open flames without it affecting her.
🔥Fire Manipulation: Using the fire she creates and expels, Ciara can mold it into any shape or direct it however she wishes. The fire bends to her whims to a certain limit. She often uses her hand gestures to direct her flames than her mind since the latter is more difficult. She can also increase or decrease the power of a flame by focusing her emotions into it. Emotions like anger and happiness will result in a flame growing stronger. Emotions like fear or sorrow will shrink them, eventually dying out.
Creation of Fire
🔥Water on her skin is like acid. It both damages and prevents the fire from sparking until dried. Submerging or drowning her in large amounts could possibly kill her.
🔥Extreme cold drains away her energy, leaving her weak and tired. This will put her to sleep if she can’t manage to keep warm. Weather can cause her to expand her energy more than usual which means she burns out faster than normal.
🔥Preventing Ciara from getting air will cause her fires to shrink and fade. Naturally, after so long, she’ll pass out like a fire snuffed out by being under a glass jar.
🔥 Ciara can only manipulate her own fire, not outside sources. This means any fires that aren’t sourced from her, can’t be stopped or redirected in any fashion.
🔥Fires sourced from Ciara are connected to her. Influenced by her status, meaning if Ciara is put down (knocked out or massively hurt) then her fires instantly burn out.
🔥Ciara needs to keep her emotions in check. Too much anger or fear could cause a wildfire to break out and cause serious amounts of collateral damage until she can get it back under control. With the lower end emotions, she finds it hard to get her fires to build quickly or at all.
🔥Even though she can manipulate it, fire is still fire. It will burn an ally or foe if they come into contact with it. She can not stop that.
Trust Issues 🔥Ciara doesn’t like opening up to others. She won’t share her personal struggles with her emotions or issues, causing her to put them off over and over. This can create issues much later down the road with her abilities. Even emotional outbursts.
Fears 🔥She doesn’t like to feel weak or get pity from them, even when she has gotten close to them. It’s painful to consider how they might see her and how it might not match up to the strong image she wants to show. So she seeks out isolation during these times, but she doesn’t understand how to resolve these issues due to her past.
Quick to Burn, Fast to Burnout 🔥Ciara’s emotions are fast to spark and heat up, but they burn out fairly quickly. This means there are lulls when she uses her fire abilities in combat as she needs to build things back up. These leave her open to attack if she's not careful or overuses her fire ability in combat.
Not Immortal 🔥 While fire can't affect her, Ciara isn't immune to damage from blades, arrows, and other weapons. She can still feel pain and suffer even if the weapon isn't immune to the fire.

♥ Ignoring the oddities of her being a mutant for a moment. Josie still certainly cuts an unusual figure for the period. Something people may notice about her rather quickly, is despite her height, putting her well above the average female and on par with most men, is that she is still very small. Her frame appears to be very fragile, with narrow shoulders, no muscle, no bust, and an hourglass frame so slight and narrow at the waist it looks like she might break. She isn't always skeletal though-- her weight fluctuates rapidly with how much she consumes and how much of her power she uses. A perk of her mutant abilities comes in the form of how she consumes and retains sustenance-- so while at times she can appear as and incredibly full-figured and muscular woman-- this doesn't manifest as weight. And the lightness in her steps makes this obvious. She is an incredibly willowy woman, even when she isn't.
Of course, her mutant features can't be ignored. To many, the horns on her head, and the clear hatred in her eyes makes her appear downright demonic to most. She is never seen without some form of practiced smile-- though, these tend to be more for unnerving peers and opponents alike than actually portraying any kind of happiness. Smiles where she does express joy tend to be even more terrifying, exposing human-but-somehow-inhuman teeth, unnaturally white that glow like pale moonlight even in darkness, with lips spread unnaturally from cheek to cheek, wide enough that she could almost swallow whoever made her feel such joy whole. Her full lips might actually make her pretty, were they not constantly expressing such thinly veiled hunger. She smiled at others like a wild beast in a den of tamed animals, waiting for the first opportunity to pounce. Her eyes, glowing a sickly pink. Further drove this home, as they analyzed and sparkled with a mirth only meant for her. Her pupils were like voids, seeking coolly around to be filled by something from those around her. Her naturally pink hair, cut short after "incidents" in her youth, is at least a bit inviting.
Her body is covered in scars and bruises from her assignments and own personal ailments. Though she carries herself with purpose and poise, someone observant can see that she is quite sickly, occasionally she will cough up dark pink blood, or faint in the middle of some important event. The most prominent scar being the one slashing vertically over her eye. She carries her scars with pride, and asking her about any of them will result in her gushing about them-- typically about how she wishes they were even more severe. She walks with a slight limp, after having received too many broken bones, and her hands are more scar tissue than skin at this point, with fingers that are all slightly bent and knotted from repeated breaks.
Josie dresses expensively. Often seen in white satin shirts with flared sleeves, typically reserved for men of this period. As far as leg wear, one can never go wrong with a nice pair of long black pantaloons, often long enough to hide the fact that she doesn't wear shoes if she doesn't have to. She may occasionally dress more feminine, wearing faux court dresses. She likes jewelry and will wear whatever she can get her hands on, rings, pendants, bracelets-- even anklets from her homeland if she can find them. She certainly prefers the wealth shown in jewelry from Egypt than of England. If she can ever find a merchant peddling those exotic wares, she'll often overload herself in such shiny status symbols, rings that she cant fit around her fingers often find their way around her horns.
♥ These terms don't exist yet. But the main thing to gather about Josie is that she is a complete sociopath-- bordering on psychopath, delusionally violent, and a psychotic narcissist. She'd be a better fit in Bedlam than the Academy, and she doesn't try to hide this fact either. She has learned to see violence as the natural way of the world from her time spend in the sands of Cairo. She enjoys fighting strong opponents with her completely unpredictable powers, and besting them with sheer luck, wit, and her penchant mind games. In fact, she gets turned on by this-- and even more than that, also tied to her powers, she experiences immense gratification, both sexual and nourishing, from causing pain or having it dealt to her. Especially having it dealt to her.
Of course, the fact that someone could hurt her is merely proof that they're worth fighting. The idea that she could ever lose a fight has never once crossed her mind.
Josie sees most people as cattle, some of them even less than that. Her bloodlust drives her to take assignments where she use someone purely for her own pleasure of killing them. And otherwise, when she isn't learning new ways to deliver earth shattering spiritual philosophy to her opponents to break their minds, she's out looking for a meal. As discussed below, she gets nourishment and strength purely from causing others to feel 'negative' emotions, or those that they deem as taboo. Be it fear, lust, or anger-- she loves the flavors from them all, as she consumes more her frame becomes more full. As such, Josie revels in talking to others for her own selfish purposes, however, so long as they are useful in some way to her-- if they can fight, feed her, or match her mentally, then they are cattle worth spending time around. If they can't, then they are worth less than the dirt on Josie's often unwashed feet-- killing them would be a waste, as she'd derive no pleasure from it, and they don't deserve the release from their pathetic existences, anyway.
Basically, Josie is a bloodthirsty hedonist, living off of instincts, some may see her as little more than an animal. She's comfortable taking orders from the Fates so long as they can provide her worthy opponents.
♥ Due to the nature of her power, Josie has become adept at identifying illnesses and ailments in others.
♥ Josie is a naturally gifted polyglot, having a native level proficiency in; Coptic Egyptian, Ottoman, Arabic, French, Persian, English, and Hebrew-- as well as being somewhat beginner-level conversationally fluent in 15 others.
♥ Josie studies philosophy and spirituality in her free time, she is particularly interested in the subjects of sin, chaos, and free will.
♥ Getting others to do what she wants for them.

♥ None, in the physical sense, she lets her powers take care of the actual dirty work.
♥ However, in the psychological sense, Josie has a full arsenal. She excels in making her opponents feel overwhelming despair, crushing negativity, and immobilizing hopelessness, and this delights her to no end. She also is exceedingly competent in provoking lustful or shameful thoughts-- these feel her with joy and give her an advantage in battle and outside of battle as well.
♥ As well as psychological, Josie is adept at maneuvering high concept philosophical and spiritual topics with her opponents (and anyone in general) and enjoys getting to know the driving forces of those she will crush, and destroying them first with weapons-grade philosophical insights. To say she gets off on knowing what makes those around her 'tick' and breaking it, and them, down is a huge understatement.

♥ Apocalyptic Luck*: It's difficult to say whether Josie's main mutant ability is a gift or a curse-- one thing is for certain though, with enough luck, someone can do some real damage. As a power, Josie's ability has the potential to be extremely dangerous, but it's impossible to predict in what way. The ability is always active, subconsciously, granting Josie very minor luck, like finding some money or being able to predict benign things like coin flips, the ability is fueled by her secondary power, and as such is always eating away at her, even if just a little. However, when Josie focuses the ability, that's when real chaos can ensue, this requires even more of her stores of energy to maintain, thus putting her life on the line, depending on how much energy she chooses to use-- but the greater the risk, the greater the reward.
When fully active, her power will influence whatever variables may exist around her to get her what she wants, even bending rules of causality to create optimal conditions, more or less. It's a bit like a monkey's paw, however-- meaning that while yes, against a powerful foe in a fight Josie may do things like cause a meteor shower that might happen to kill her opponent, or create a natural disaster that devastates where they are-- Josie wouldn't be immune to these disasters, and would be just as likely to dying in them. More simply, she might sneeze or randomly trip to dodge attacks, perhaps she might find a sword laying in the perfect position to kill her foe as they trip toward her, only for the owner of the sword to come and assume she had stolen it. The longer the ability is active, or the more Josie pushes it, the more erratic it becomes, lashing out in whatever way it can to seemingly return to Josie's subconscious-- causing random weather phenomenon, causing citizens to randomly become bloodlusted and form a mob to kill her and her opponent, and even manifesting illnesses in the bodies of her or her opponent-- both curable and chronic.
♥ Dark Empathy: Aside from granting her the power of good and bad luck, Josie's mutant physiology is a bit different from a regular humans. She doesn't require food or water to survive, instead thriving entirely off of the negative, sinful, or otherwise taboo emotions of others. If they don't want to be feeling it, Josie can feast from it. The range she can feed from is 20 meters, in all directions around her, though, the closer she is to her target, the quicker she can get her fill. The energy fills out her body, making her appear more buxom, full figured and healthy as she eats, the dark energy doubles as muscle, and by the time she's full she definitely possesses more strength than the average human-- or even more than a particularly strong human-- still, it doesn't have any affect on her weight.
♠ Apocalyptic Luck*: Though it has it's benefits, in that she can get lucky and just have lightening strike her opponent the second she activated her power. It is one full of drawbacks. She lacks the ability to control what happens, and can only improvise with whatever chaos she gets, it suits her, but it's always a dangerous gamble. Not only this, but the power is always draining away at her energy reserves, even when locked away in her subconscious. Often leaving her hungry. Not only this, but as the power becomes more focused or erratic, it doesn't just do things like giver her terminal illnesses (which, much to her chagrin, it has)-- It will begin to actively shorten her lifespan, even more than whatever sickness it may manifest might. This effect happens exponentially and will create lucky and unlucky phenomenon that, will actively begin to target Josie over her opponent. First starting with seconds taken away from her life, those quickly become hours, and then weeks, and then years. The more years taken from her life, the greater the chance of truly apocalyptic events occurring.
♠ Slow Eater: It takes time for Josie to properly feast on another mortal's negative emotions. If she's in a crowd of frustrated people , she can become full in about an hour. However, if dealing with just one or two people, it may take closer to 10. She can overstock on energy, but this has drastically diminishing returns. In order to double the energy she'd have while "full" she'd need to spend 10 hours in the crowd and 100 with the individuals.
♠ Pain Fetishist: Josie is all too willing to be injured in a fight, and this can often impede her ability to win encounters. She's built up an incredible resistance to the actual pain she feels, but the sexual arousal she'll feel being attacked might distract her, more than a bit. She's had every bone in her body broken at least once, has slashes all over from willingly allowing herself to be drawn too close to opponents she could take out from a distance. Seeing what strong people can do is a huge weakness for her. She's willingly stated she'd lose an eye or a limb just to feel pleasure in a fight.
♠ Light as a feather: While consuming negativity does add the equivalent of muscle to her body, Josie doesn't actually gain any mass or weight from this, meaning she still weighs less than 100 lbs and is very susceptible to heavy attacks from pretty much anyone. Her Dark Empathic muscle can help offset this, but only so much, and as she drains that away, she only becomes a frailer target.
Mutant's Mark Large black pustules with white circles surrounding them grow on various parts of Joseph's body every day, and when left unpopped, they start leaking a similarly colored liquid that moves slightly and withers after an hour. Additionally, he has white hair.
Appearance Joseph is almost perpetually expressionless, rarely cracking a smile and seemingly moving with autonomous precision. His skin is extremely pale and he dislikes bright lights. While his extremities are slightly cooler than a normal person, the pustules he grows are extremely warm, like a sick animal. His eyes are dark brown, but he usually keeps them somewhat downcast, making it hard to tell. His white hair is an indicator of his status as a mutant, considering he is so young. His teeth and nails are very well manicured and clean despite the time period, a side effect of his compulsive desire for cleanliness. Joseph has a very monotone voice, and he rarely speaks at a loud volume unless it would be most efficient to do so - his voice is clearly that of a younger man, although it can be very hoarse if he uses too much of his blood for his power. Despite the draining nature of his powers, Joseph is suprisingly muscular for someone his age - a result of extended periods of heavy lifting and labor. His typical attire is as utilitarian as humanly possible, lacking any care for style or aesthetic. Typically he wears a large apron and pair of thick gloves, along with a relatively dense and heavy outfit befitting of a metalworker.
Personality Joseph is the very embodiment of a pragmatic survivor. He views things from a lens of efficiency, viewing concepts like honor and aesthetics as a baffling irrelevancy. He treats people with extreme respect, always using proper formalities and usually addressing companions with titles or by their last name. He finds loud and especially social people to be distracting and slightly painful, and thus prefers the company of those who share his interests.
Those interests include metalworking, tailoring, carpentry, and most forms of craftsmanship. He also prefers to be around people who are physically weaker than him, finding it as a safety net against someone assaulting him - although, he finds the musings and instructions of those stronger than him more valuable, considering it allowed them to be more powerful. He prefers to acquire this information through books, however, since it allows him to avoid people who might find him less than pleasurable to be around.
Despite not displaying them often, there are several emotions that Joseph feels frequently. These include frustration, annoyance, dissatisfaction, contentment, and similar emotions. His most common is probably paranoia - Joseph refuses to sleep without at least one of his creations, and always leaves some kind of method for keeping his room more defendable. He is an extremely light sleeper. He also has an almost obsessive desire to keep his environment clean and orderly, with self-hygiene and maintenance/cleaning taking up most of his free time.
Everyday Skills Joseph is exceptionally skilled in most forms of craftsmanship, including smithing, tailoring, pottery, and even carpentry. His power has made most forms of his craftsmanship on par with an amateur artisan, but he is especially skilled in these specific fields thanks to a lot of practice. However, he is terrible at aesthetics and creating things like painting and jewelry escape him.
Joseph has almost superhuman patience, capable of performing the same repetitive action for an entire day, and even longer if he can keep himself from falling asleep - he's a fairly good sentry because of this.
Joseph is literate, and while he is not as skilled as a scholar or a person who has been taught to read from a very young age, he has a fairly large vocabulary.
Combat Skills Joseph specializes in evading an enemy. He is somewhat skilled with a crossbow, although it is common for him to miss moving targets. He mostly relies on his specialized equipment, which helps him evade attacks and enable more maneuverability.
Equipment A heavy cloak that is effected by Joseph's power, helping him move more easily.
A fairly light crossbow, also subsumed by Joseph's power - it helps aim and help pull the drawstring back.
Several sets of tools, all of which are used for various types of crafts - the only one he keeps on his person is a simplified 'Sewing Kit' that he affected with his power. It can sew small tears on its own but needs supervision for more pressing fixes.
A somewhat concerning number of chickens. They are kept in a chicken coop that Joseph made in the courtyard, and he uses them as both a source of fuel for his items, as well as a steady source of extra fresh food. However, they are unable to support any especially large items that are affected by Joseph's power, since there are not too many and they are very light.
Powers Spark of Creation: Joseph is almost supernaturally gifted when it comes to creating objects - anything from swords to buildings, the schematics and necessary steps come to Joseph's mind with extreme ease. Essentially, a step-by-step guide to creating something is implanted in Joseph's mind when he focuses on something to create, making the process a simple matter of following directions.
Autonomous Tumor: Black and white bumps grow on Josephs's body, at a rate of three every day. Popping them and spreading the liquid on an item will cause the liquid to thicken and wrap around it, which writhes and is almost burning hot to the touch. When placed on an item and well-fed, the tendrils that form from the liquid are capable of manipulating the objects on their own, performing motions that they are instructed to by their designated 'Master.' Their strength and speed are directly proportional to their size (a human-sized object will have roughly human strength, while a cloak might only have the strength of a child or teenager), and they are effectively permanent as long as they are fed. Especially heavy objects that are affected by this power are incapable of movement, but the Tumor's tendrils are capable of manipulating nearby objects if they are close enough. They are only capable of performing actions that Joseph can perform - they can write, but can't perform anything beyond the most basic arithmetic, and can't do anything especially skilled that Joseph can't.
Shared Identity: When within 5 feet of one of his Autonomous Tumors, any mind-affecting or emotional manipulation powers of other mutants used on Joseph instead effect his Creation.
Weaknesses Curse of Utility: Joseph's Spark of Creation ability is exactly like a guidebook - while it gives him step-by-step instructions for making something, it is the same every single time. He can't make any big changes to the design without abandoning his power for the creation process, and his power always chooses to make items ats utilitarian as possible. Selling anything made by his power is hard because of this since they all look mass-produced and basic.
To the Letter: Joseph has to follow his Spark of Creation to the letter if he wants to benefit from it - and while it can create many things, it can't make incredibly intricate or detailed items. Essentially, he can create anything an amateur craftsman can, but could never make a truly impressive item unless he used his actual skills.
Dependancy: While things made from Joseph's Autonomous Tumor are obediant to their 'master,' they are very basic and have extremly limited mental states. They cannot do aanything requiring extended thinking or planning, and while they are capable of performing actions to use the objects they are bonded to, they cannot do advanced actions without direct supervision. For example: A Pen affected by this power would be able to write anything that someone says as long as it is being instructed to do so and is near the person, and could write a single word or short sentence for an extended period of time without supervision. But they wouldn't be able to scribe the text from a book onto a blank book if it is alone and no one is reading the text out to it.
Feeding: Along with being somewhat stupid, Joseph's creations need to regularly consume flesh or blood at regular intervals to keep living. This need not be from Joseph himself, and the amount needed is dependant on size and the complexity of object it is bonded to. A lockpick may need a few drops every couple days, while a large wagon would need 20 pounds of flesh a day. Considering their very poor intellect and dependency on a Master, they can't simply be ordered to hunt for themselves without supervision. However, as long as they're fed well and kept in moderate conditions, they can live for around a year, or maybe two if they're especially large.
Sonic Weakness: A weakness shared between both Joseph and his creations, loud noises are extremely disorientating, and sometimes even blatantly harmful. Shouting could cause one of Joseph's creations to quiver and shake, while noises like an explosion or especially extravagant powers could even kill them prematurely. Joseph can tolerate shouting with slight discomfort, and while an explosion will cause him to stagger and be dazzled for a couple of seconds, he won't be especially injured. Anything louder could cause bleeding from the ears, popped blood vessels, intense skin irritation, vomiting, and temporary deafness. It would take an especially loud noise to outright kill Joseph. Illusionary effects will still harm Joseph and his creations if they involve loud noises, but his Shared Identity power will keep Joseph safe for a brief period.
Common Enemy: While Joseph's Shared Identity ability protects him from things like mind control, it is not the best that it takes control of his Creations. A would-be manipulator could simply order Joseph's creations to directly attack him, which Shared Identity would not protect against.
