@Dead Cruiser I mean it was mostly in the last response already. For the record I LOVE Shadowhawk. Moreso than Spawn. Shadowhawk isn't what I'm looking for in the game though. The more traditional vigilante hero of Gotham isn't what's needed here. Your guy though is almost note for note a combo of Damian and Red Hood with a dash of Marvel's Taskmaster [the copying fighting styles thing]. Son of Talia Al Ghul and trained by the League is Damian's thing. Exposure to the Lazarus Pit itself is Red Hood's thing. And Renegade is legit an alternate ID of Nightwing when he goes undercover as a badguy. Also...

Age: 18
Home Location: Gotham
Powers: Invisibility and intangibility

Weaknesses: Travis still needs to breathe, so he is limited in how much material he can pass through based on how long he can hold his breath. While he's immune to many forms of attack while intangible, electrical attacks are still effective as the electricity is still able to jump between the molecules of his body and electrocute him.

His invisibility can be defeated by thermal imaging, though no light-based cameras, such as infrared, will be able to see him. His powers need to be consciously activated as well, so a sneak attack would also be effective.

Equipment: Anything that Travis carries needs to be brought with him through anything he passes through, so he tends to travel light to reduce the strain on himself. With his power set being suited to infiltration and stealth missions, his equipment was designed to assist him with such tasks. His suit covers his entire body to prevent him from leaving behind hair or anything other DNA anywhere that he should not have been. His boots also have sound-dampening soles in order to aid him in moving silently while he invisibly skulks around. In addition, he carries a com-bead in his ear for communication and his mask contains anti-flash lenses.

Despite his policy of traveling light, Travis does carry a few gadgets just in case in ends up in a less-than-ideal situation. The extendable baton he carries in civilian life was upgraded to a stun baton which can be electrified at the push of a button for a nasty shock to incapacitate his foes. He has also been supplied with flash pellets, which he is protected from by the anti-flash lenses in his mask. For those hard-to-reach places he possesses a grappling hook that is strong enough to lift himself and one passenger without difficulty. Finally, he carries remote hacking devices to give Oracle remote access to whatever sort of computer she would like access to.

Appearance: Travis is a young, Caucasian man with an average build. He is 5'8" tall with black hair and blue eyes. He dresses very plainly, often opting for a simple plain, colored T-shirt and jeans. There is also a trench coat that he is quite fond of that he often wears as well.

His suit is a full-body suit with no visible facial features similar to a morph suit. The head, torso, and upper arms are white and the rest of the suit is black.

Personality: laid-back, sarcastic, humorous, loyal, stubborn

BRIEF Bio: Travis's early life before his metahuman abilities were awakened were rather unremarkable. He was raised by overprotective, religious parents who kept him away from the dangerous and cruel world, better known as Gotham, as best as they possibly could. Travis grew tired of being so smothered rather quickly and was quick to strike out on his own as soon as possible.

Upon the discovery of his abilities Travis had mixed feelings on how to best make use of them. He did, of course, inevitably give in to how easily he could now steal things, but his conscience didn't allow him to take anything that was too expensive. Travis also learned that his abilities could be used for good. Though he tried not to get too involved in Gotham's drama he did take it upon himself to stop a robbery here and there or save the odd damsel in distress. He figured that joining some new superhero team that was being put together would help him understand why he can do what he does and perhaps give his life some meaning and direction.

Notes: Travis is afraid of heights.

"NOBODY MOVE! PUT THE MONEY IN THE BAG!"

It was just another typical Tuesday in good ol' Gotham. All Travis had wanted to do was make a quick trip down to the convenience store on the corner to pick up some snack, but then some jerkoff with a gun decided it was as good a day as any to rob the place. The clerk was jamming the money from his till into the bag as quickly as he could while a gun was being waved around in front his face, meanwhile Travis was in the back of the store by the beverage cooler. The robber had not seen him when he entered, so Travis had two options. On the one hand he could just slip out and carry on with his day. On the other hand, he could do something about this robbery in progress. Though he tried not to get too involved in such things, it was happening right in front him. Doing nothing about it was just as bad as doing it yourself, right? Or something like that.

Travis made up his mind and began creeping up behind the robber unseen. The clerk was still frantically transferring cash into the robber's bag and the robber himself seemed convinced that he had only the clerk to worry about. Travis had the element of surprise on his side.
"That's awfully rude."
The robber nearly jumped out of his skin before spinning around and firing the gun, the round striking an innocent bag of potato chips. He looked in confusion certain that he had heard a voice, but he didn't see anyone.
"Alright, funny guy," the robber growled. "Come out where I can see you, or I swear to God I'll..."
The robber's tough talk was cut short by a harsh impact to his thigh. He cried out in pain and dropped to one knee. Before he could even begin to attempt to comprehend what was happening, a second impact jerked his head backwards putting him on his back and knocking him out cold. The clerk's eyes were wide with shock and confusion. His eyes then nearly popped right out of his head when Travis appeared in front of him out of thin air with an extendable baton in his hand. He grabbed the gun and tossed it on the counter in front of the clerk and then dropped a $10 bill next to it. After picking himself out a bag of chips, an iced tea, and his candy bar of choice he made his way out the door. Before leaving he turned to the clerk who was still frozen in place.
"You can just go ahead and call the cops whenever you're ready," Travis told him.
Then, he was out the door.

Secret ID: Tiara (Tia) Elias

Alias: Shade Walker

Age: 16

Home Location: Gotham

Powers: Teleportation (only within dark areas or in shade). Tiara can teleport multiple people at a time but only if the shade or darkness can accommodate them. If she attempts to teleport more people than the shade or darkness can fit then one individual from the group she’s teleporting will be teleported to a random location with shade. There is no telling where this person will end up, whether in shade or darkness nearby or far away.

Weaknesses: Light; Whether artificial or natural, Tiara cannot come into direct contact with it. If she does she will develop 3rd degree burns wherever the light touches. Though light from flames does not hurt her. She also cannot teleport into anywhere with light, having to find a shadow nearby where she wishes to teleport that can accommodate her body size. If Tiara is left in the light for too long she will die of light exposure. So staying within the darkness in whatever way possible is critical for her survival.

Equipment: Though she has a tool belt on her at all times she rarely uses it for items for herself, considering herself a pack mule of sorts for other equipment. Tiara typically carries only one piece of equipment for herself, that item being her light proof parasol. It’s exceptionally girly looking, with black lace covering its exterior while the interior is velvet lined. But hidden within the top of the parasol is a blade made of titanium, the fabric completely hydrophobic. Within the handle of the parasol also lies a secret compartment with cyanide tablets, just in case… she lost her mother to torture, she refuses to let the same happen to anyone else. Even at the cost of her own life.

Appearance: Tiara is albino, her pale and slightly gray skin being without a hint of color just like her snow white hair and eyelashes. Her lips are a pale cherry blossom pink though the inner portion is always red as she has a nervous habit of biting her lips until the skin comes off. Her eyes are like rubies, a stark contrast to the rest of her. Her appearance has been likened to that of a model, though some think with her appearance she is more like an alien than human. She has a giant scar though upon her right hand from when she first encountered her weakness and subsequent powers. Her costume is a full body suit with a hood she clips into her long hair to keep it from falling off, a black mask covering her mask with light proof mesh over the eyes to prevent her corneas from being burned off. Her everyday attire consists of three key elements; cute styles, a lot of lace, and everything is black. Always paired with black sunglasses and a small cross necklace.

Personality: Kind, Caring, Awkward, Shy, Well-meaning (Words will evolve throughout the role play)
Brief Bio: Tiara was born from two meta humans though her mother was a supervillain whilst her father was a hero. After countless battles both physical and verbal the two found themselves falling in love, the two leaving Bludhaven behind and making a small life for themselves back in Gotham. Due to her mothers identity she had to hide within the walls of their apartment whilst her father worked tirelessly at a warehouse to support them both he never regretted it, eternally happy when they found out they were with child. But when she gave birth they realized Tiara wasn’t normal as she teleported herself into the closet that was completely pitch black. She was screaming her tiny lungs out, her skin red as if she had been put into a boiling bath. They quickly realized her powers and set to work removing anything that could harm her. After years in hiding one day Tiara’s father was caught using his powers to save some coworkers after a huge explosion, her mother’s old associates hunting him down and torturing him for her address. They murdered him in the warehouse he had toiled in for years and then murdered her mother in an alleyway next to their apartment.

After her mother was found by the police they raided the apartment complex, finding Tiara and learning about her powers as just like when she was born she teleported to safety instinctively. They eventually found her in what appeared to be a safe room, taking her into custody and placing her in a dark cell with lights illuminating different areas. They eventually figured out that she could only teleport to places she had seen before, monitoring her carefully as they couldn’t be sure that her mother hadn’t influenced her. But in the end they deemed her harmless, deciding that if they could find someone to take her off their hands and train her they would gladly send her off to fight the good fight. Though with how shy and scared of the outside world she was they wondered if that would even be possible.

I started typing and I couldn’t stop haha!

From the moment she was born there was always darkness, and always within it was Tiara herself. Tiara grew up in an apartment with her father and mother, her mother home schooling her by candlelight just as her grandmother had before her. Her father was always at work so Tiara barely remembered what he looked like, within her mind only vague features remained though time quickly distorted them. Despite his absence Tiara supposed they got along just fine without him, her mother only going out when it was absolutely necessary. Besides those rare occasions the two stayed hidden away from the world, sharing in the knowledge of classic literature and the warm embrace of familial love.

Tiara only knew of the world through story, unknowing of the chaos going on outside the solid oak door of their apartment. But one day when her mother went out for groceries she didn’t come back home like she usually did. Within the darkness time passed by without any way for her to tell just how long it had been, the lack of warmth sorely missed by the young girl. She slept to stave off the ever growing hunger, praying with the small golden cross her mother had left in her care that she would soon return home. But one evening she was awoken by that solid oak door bursting open, beams of light circling around to see in the pitch black darkness where everything was. She held up her hand in front of her face as a beam of blinding light got close to her, her skin sizzling as she screamed in agony from the searing pain.

She hid under the blanket in terror, the officers that approached turning off their lights as one of them scooped her out and brought her with them. She struggled against them with all her might but it was no use, she was stuck there with these strangers who she could only guess were men of the law. Inside her apartment walls was the safety and peace the outside world lacked, Tiara trembling as the lights and noises of the outside world bombarded her senses. The blanket helped to dampen the light but her skin felt feverish as neon colors bled through the fabric. It hurt.. It hurt so badly! She felt something tugging at her, pulling her somewhere else. She wanted to go home!

Poof!

Within a moment she landed somewhere soft, her head peeked out of the blanket to find herself back in her apartment. But she was within a hidden room in her apartment, her eyes widened as she realized she was seeing the apartment through a two way mirror. The officers flooded in but they couldn’t locate her, the light from what she could only assume were the flashlights she had read about not hurting her skin this time. But it illuminated the darkness within it, seeing articles with whom she could only assume was her father. He was a metahuman, his power to control fire had caused him to be named “The Spark.” But when she saw her mother upon the wall she felt like her whole world had dropped out from underneath her feet, the normal life her family had lived with being nothing but a fabrication of her mind. After all, her mother was a notorious villain called “the void.” A being who sucked all the light out of a place with her voids of darkness and could redirect that light in a targeted attack. Somehow the two had fallen in love, they had left the whole world behind… But it seemed as if their old life had found her.

And then Natalie's just some punk kid, was not born with the metagene (unless her metagene power is very mild willpower/self-assurance. Not looking to go further down that route because it leads to defying fate and stuff), has never stopped crime before, doesn't know how to fight, doesn't think of herself as Hero material. Powers:
Peak human physicality: Training in martial arts since the moment she could stand, playing varsity sports, and working out with her brother have made Chie an incredibly strong woman. She isn't superhuman by any regard but she can take much more of a beating than your average person, can run miles in minutes flat, and can lift like a bodybuilder. Compared to any enhanced person, she is relatively mundane, but against the average goon and gangster, she far excels.

Inhuman accuracy/sight: Chie, like her mother before her, has eyes like a hawk. She can see in pitch black darkness and can see farther than most people. This aids in her ability to hit things from far away accurately. With any gun, crossbow, or thrown item she can hit a 6-inch target from as far as 200 yards away. This isn't even adding the addition of scopes. Her eyes allow her to keep up with things moving with super speed, and can even see through magical illusions.

Martial arts: Years of training, sparring, and real-life experience have turned Chie into a surprisingly dangerous teenager. She is capable of fighting hand to hand, with a variety of melee or throwing weapons, and has adopted a mixed style of Karate, kick boxing, wrestling, and street techniques she has left over time. Chie's skills rival a professional fighter, because as a superhero; she is one!

Stealth and lockpicking: Picked up from her more rambunctious side of life, Chie is skilled in avoiding people's notice. Her mother taught her how to walk and jump silently, as well as how to quiet her breathing. Experience has taught her where to hide and how to trail someone inconspicuously. Chie learned to lock pick on her own and while not a master, the skill comes in handy.

Acrobatics and parkour: Chie has long since learned to traverse the sprawling cityscape in its entirety. Be it scaling walls, jumping from building to building, riding rails, and all things in between. This applies to her fighting skills as well, capable of doing flips, splits, and all in-between.

Weaknesses:
Human: Chie has no powers or additional durability. He isn't even strong for a human, he's rather weak and someone with superpowers can easily pummel or kill him in a straightforward brawl. This doesn't mean they can't hold their own in a fight inherently, just that they are at a severe disadvantage when in a battle with super-powered foes.

Social life: Chie is a very popular girl at her high school. She also has plenty of activities she participates in, such as martial arts classes, searching for a college, and a part-time job at a gas station. This, coupled with family obligations and the fact she is keeping her hero's work a secret, Chie's biggest weakness is to attack the people she holds dear to her heart or simply tell them what she has been doing.

Self-defeat: Chie has been training for years to become a one-woman fighting machine, and has maintained a level of success to be proud of for most of her short life. As such, defeats of any kind are soul-crushing for her. While she can be an impressive fighter on her own, the best way to take her out is to psyche her out, as once she feels weak or defeated it is very hard to get her to beleive in herself once more.

Equipment:
Shurikens: Simple carbonsteel 4-prong shurikens. Thanks to Oracle, she also has a series of specialized shurikens that can electrocute and explode. A particularly useful variant is shurikens with tracking devices on them.

Smoke bombs: A tool for a quick escape. It hides the use from sight and smell by covering them in a large cloud of smoke that slowly diminishes. A variant of these given to her by Oracle use a variant of scarecrow's fear toxin, which give a less intense fear affect for around five to ten minutes.

Personality: Brash, Prideful but modest, Selfless, Persistent
BRIEF Bio: Chie's mother was an assassin who faked her death and moved to American over a decade ago. She eventually met a man, settled down and had Chie and her older brother. Her mother taught them martial arts, but Chie seemed to really enjoy them and took the lessons in stride. Eventually, Chie's father's work forced them to move to Gotham. Chie's mother, worried about a young girl in such a dangerous town, her mother upped her training for good cause too, as eventually some members of the Jokerz gang would try and fail to kidnap her. Thus started her craving for vigilante justice, and as more and more encounters with the gang went on, she eventually started seeking out these fights. This would lead her to join the Robins, and when they disbanded Oracle saw the potential Chie, perhaps seeing some of herself in the young hero-to-be.

BRIEF Bio:
JD was an eighteen year old out of Midway City looking to make a name for himself in the rising art scene located in Gotham. When housing arrangements went wrong he landed on the streets without transportation of his own or a full time job. He eventually fell in with the Robins just before gaining his metahuman ability, and afterwards it was only a matter of time before he was contacted by Gordon.

Notes: Gotham Bolt was originally the closest thing I could create to a Caucasian Static in the DCUOnline MMORPG. The original idea for Titans of Gotham was also the name of my ‘League’ within the game. We just used 0’s in place of o’s and capitalized every letter LOL.

Over half of the city was like something out of the Blade Runner films. The other half was old and falling apart, like buildings from a black and white noir film from the 1940’s. The cyber industrialization of Gotham began in the city’s industrial park and expanded outward. Another name for ‘Old Gotham’ was ‘Outer Gotham’. JD operated as Bolt mostly in Outer Gotham, but during his time with the Robins he was often in the more futuristic areas of the city. Gotham’s answer to NYC’s Times Square was dubbed ‘Neon Circle’ by the gangs of Gotham in the late 2020’s after the industrial upgrades began. Much of the land owned by Bruce Wayne in Outer Gotham was absorbed into Wayne Industries and high class futuristic suburbs were built, and Wayne Manor itself was remodeled into the new Arkham Asylum.

“HELP! SOMEBODY, PLEASE!” screamed someone in the distance.

A young man in a black hoodie with a white lightning bolt on the front leapt from the roof of a taller building, still in the shadows of the futuristic buildings mere blocks away. A two hundred plus pound Gotham manhole cover flew from seemingly nowhere and the young hero landed on it and descended down to the area where the screams originated from. Electricity or lightning trailed behind the young metahuman and he was finally at the scene. A member of the Jokerz was cornering a young female in an alleyway.

“C’mon now… I just wanna show ya somethin’ FUNNY!” the clown man taunted at the girl.

“The comedy club is up the street, clown. And it’s closed Monday nights.” Bolt stated hovering down the last few feet, almost on top of the two people below him.

“You some kinda thrift store superhero? Cause I got ways of dealin’ with…” the Jokerz gang member began to say before a manhole cover pinned him to the brick building next to them. He continued to talk smack but was completely immobilized by the two hundred pound plus steel weight that was the manhole cover. JD stepped over to the young woman, who looked to be around his age, and extended his hand. After helping her up he made sure to keep his head down in his hood and to stick to the shadows. He didn’t really wear a mask underneath.

“Get out of here and call the police.” He said to the point, as the girl did exactly that. She pulled out her smart phone on her way out of the alley and moved quickly.

“I wonder who else Gor… Oracle is gonna get for this team?” Bolt thought, using his power to pull another manhole cover from somewhere close to float around on. “I’ve got to remember to stop thinking about people’s real names with telepaths actually existing in the world and not just on tv…”

@Birdboy Yeah this is more for characters affiliated with the Titans moreso than Batman. I turned down another CS with a character trained from a young age by assassins with peak human conditioning and all that cause it's just not what we need here.
