With Konoha to the south, the Hidden Sound to the east and the Hidden Waterfall to the west we have the small Hidden Village of the End, Gobigakure. What's that? Can't find it on a map? Don't know the name of the country? Well, that's part of the problem...
The Village Hidden by the End is so small and insignificant that most other ninja villages doesn't recognize it as one. If it was on a map before, someone has erased it by now. In the entire history of the village it hasn't produced a single ninja worth mentioning. The village sits on the northern cliffs of its country, surrounded by huge rocks that shelters the village from the outside world. The village can only be clearly seen from the sea to the north, called the endless sea by locals. Thus its name, the Village Hidden by the End.

The village is not governed by a kage, like the other hidden villages, neither does it house its own ANBU-force. It started out as an outpost for the Hidden Cloud, and has always relied on its main village for leadership and protection.
The village's only jounin, Hyuuga Hiroshi, acts as leader and is in charge of every ninja in the village. Hiroshi used to be a ninja from Konoha, but was thrown out after a family dispute went sour. He traveled around the world and found Gobigakure by accident and was elevated to the rank of leader almost over night. He has his work cut out for him. The village is very poor and lacks many of the commodities that people in the rest of the world take for granted. Missions are few and far between, most people take their business to the bigger villages.
Not a single noble ninja family reside in the village, but a few of the older families have developed hijutsu. Bloodline limits are extremely rare, almost unheard of.

Short history:
Shortly after the Village Hidden in the Clouds had formed the ninjas they started to look to the west, toward the Village Hidden in Stone. They feared an attack, and established an outpost on a conveniently placed mass of land. A nearby village provided entertainment for the troops and before long the first illegitimate child was born. It was followed by many others. The children with a talent for ninjutsu were trained by the Kumo ninjas that were stationed there, and during the first ninja war they helped keep their small patch of land safe.
After the war the outpost was scrapped, but the village remained popular in the eyes of Kumo ninjas and with time ninjas from other villages as well. The climate and primitive lifestyle made the village a popular site for jounin to train their genin. And while they were there more than a few decided to visit the popular burlesque houses, both male and female “entertainers” were available to suit every taste.
When the second ninja war came the village was left to its own devices, and took several hard hits. Much of the original village was destroyed, but a few talented doton-users from Kumo created a huge barricade around the village to shield it from harm. That barricade still stands and is the reason why the village is still hidden.
After the second war people stopped caring about the small village. Its ninjas were nothing in comparison to the kind of talent that arose in the rest of the world and its geographical position was too out of the way for leisurely visits. Because of its remote position huge battles have been fought just outside the barricade between Iwa, Kumo and Konoha. Neither have taken the time to secure it first. The village has tried to reestablish communications with Kumo, but have been rejected every time.

Welcome to the Village Hidden by the End, Gobigakure no Sato. You are one of the villages proud ninjas, a chuunin. You are one of the most powerful people in the village, even though it has been a while since you got to show it. You, and some of your friends have grown tired of the way people from other villages treat you, calling you weak, saying that you're not really ninjas. You've decided to leave the village and grow strong out in the real world, you're prepared to do whatever it takes to succeed. You'll show those other villages that Gobi ninjas are a force to be reckoned with, and you'll beat the snot out of anyone who disagrees.

What we want here is a mainly character focused roleplay with a small handful of dedicated players. Although our characters do start out fairly useless, we want some real progress in their power levels. Like in the real show.

The story takes place eight years after The Second Shinobi War and just a few years before The Third Shinobi War. That makes it about fifteen years before the start of the series.

Village Placement

Gobigakure no Sato, the Village Hidden by the End, is placed on the very edge of the world, facing the unending ocean to the north to one side and giant, cliff-like walls of stone to the south. The counrty of its location has no name, as far as the rest of the world is concerned and the villages have never thought to give it one outside of the name of their own village. Gobi no Kuni, Land of the End, as the locals call it, would not be recognized as the actual name of the land by any of the other countries.
When the placement of the village is explained to others, most will go "Oh, that turd-shaped country?".

Gobigakure no Sato is placed on the utmost part of the "turd-shaped" country, overlooking the endless sea. The village is placed on a cliffside, with lush forest between the village itself and the man-spawned cliffs that shield them from the rest of the world.

The country in which Gobigakure no Sato lies, is mainly composed of mountainous terrain, with luscious forests, idyllic lakes and deep valleys. Most of the country is untouched by human hand and only few people has ever traveled across.

Village Entrance
The most noticable thing about Gobigakure no Sato, might be the unique and quite difficult way to enter the village. Since the village is mostly shielded by large, cliff-like rocks and deep valleys created by Doton-users as a means of protection, the villages were basically caught in their own little world. Traveling around the cliffs proved much too difficult and crossing the valleys were no easier. As such, the villagers decided to dig a tunnel that went directly from the basement of their Administration building, to the outside of the outmost of the cliffs. The tunnel is as long as a days worth of travel and makes for an easy and safe entrance and exit for the villagers.

Ninja Academy
Ninja Academy
The Ninja Academy in Gobigakure no Sato is nothing special, to say the least. It is an old, abandoned warehouse with no actual classrooms or teachers. Hyuuga Hiroshi, the village's leader, serves as the only real instructor and teaches all students at the academy. Due to the small amount of ninja that are actually bred in Gobigakure, he teaches courses more than he teaches classes.
There are five different "grades" taught at the academy, labled as "Beginner Class", which he teaches on Mondays; this class is an introduction to the basics of how ninja and their chakra works, "Chakra Control", which is taught on Tuesdays and is a mix of all grades and ages of students as all are welcome to come and train with him, "Basic Techniques", taught on Wednesdays, where he teaches, well, basic techniques - E-rank only - where everyone is welcome, as well and "Hand-to-Hand Combat", where he teaches students how to use their bodies in actual, physical fist-fight. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, only the best and most promising of the students receive training, from instructors directly appointed to them by Hiroshi.

As a Village of 'Relaxation,' Gobigakure's brothels have an integral part in the economy of the Village. The Red Walk, as many call it, is a mile long road of brothels on either side. These brothels cater to every sort of deviancy. Numerous alley-ways abound where women not bound to a brothel might ply their trade, but these women are a dangerous sort...cheaper and more prone to disease than those found in the brothels. Every building in this Red Lantern District is for the making of money through the flesh trade. Save for one..

Casino – The Golden Goose
The Golden Goose is obviously not the only casino in this entertainment-minded village, but it is the only one driven by the village itself, rather than privately owned. It is also the biggest and safest one, if you do not want to be tricked by the dealers.

Although the Black Market is not an official part of the village, it is still obviously there. The village leaders do nothing about it, for the simple reason that it makes a lot of money for the village. It has no actual placement, but trades are made everywhere in the village. Most Gobigakure inhabitants consider the “poor” part of the village as The Black Market.

Export is the main income of Gobigakure and as such, their harbor is the easiest way to move lots of wares. Gobigakure exports lots and lots of alcohol, has some of the best pigs in the world and export both wood and stone for building.

The Savory Lane is a long street where most of the restaurants and bars of Gobigakure are placed. The variety of smells that invade your nose as you walk down this lane is pure torture, if you do not have the money for the food.

The Tranquil Spring - Daiken's meditation and training spot
That's probably not its name, but nobody really named it, so that's just what Daiken refers to it as (or just 'the spring'). It is located some distance away from the village, in an otherwise unassuming crag. You'd probably miss it if you didn't know it was there in the first place. Surrounded by trees and low-hanging vegetation, it is a place of absolute peace. Daiken uses it to practice his chakra control, and also meditates there when troubled. He finds the water excellent for this purpose.

Safe Haven - Ryuu's place of safety and shelter
To most it is a rundown building, but to the children of Gobigakure's Red Walk it is called simply "Haven." Myubi Ryuu discovered the building as a young child and it was here that he would eventually flee to when he found the strength to fight back against his 'owners.' Ryuu would live on his own for a bit, studying the Ninja arts...but soon found other children in the area who had fled. Slowly, these children learned from Ryuu basic self-defense, how to steal to survive, how to avoid stealing from ninja, begging, and numerous other skills that would allow them to survive. These children and friends are the only ones Ryuu holds loyalty too. He has saved several of them from the brothels and they look up to him greatly.

To the south of the village lies a massive wall of great big rocks that were once torn from the earth itself to shield the tiny village from harm. Somewhere within these rocks lies a path that leads to what Shou fondly thinks of as "his quiet place". In line with his balance philosophy, it is no easy place to get to. After you leave the village you travel for a while on the road, but you'll leave it before long. There is a near invisible path that leads through the forest all the way up to the big rocks. From there you start to climb, at the start it's no harder than going up a hill, but before long the rock face if almost vertical. 20 or so meters up there is a plateau, but this is not the place. From here you squeeze through a narrow gap and continue along a path on the outside of the big rock. A missed step means falling down and that would hurt a lot. After walking almost all the way around the rock you jump over to the rock next to it and continue along the path. You'll reach a sort of balcony, around 4-5 square meters. From there you can see the whole village and as the balcony faces north, the great endless ocean. The view is amazing. Shou has built a small fireplace and usually carries a load of firewood with him when he goes there, along with water and tea leaves. A small teapot is stashed up there, but he'll bring his own cup. This is a place for meditation and deep thought, not for training.
Shou likes to make one trip per week, but if something has happened he might go there more often.

Although the cave itself might not be terribly hard to find, as long as you know where to look, it is quite a dangerous path to walk to get there.
The forest in which the cave is located is south of the village. The forest is luscious with plant life of all kinds; with tall trees attempting to reach the sky, fruit trees with copious amounts of edible fruits and bushes lush with berries ready to pick.
To get to the forest, one will need to cross the Mountain Bridge that carries travelers across the deep valley that was torn in the mountains during the war. Once on the other side, you reach the forest and you just have to find the cave amongst the trees and bushes.
Haruka likes to come here to train and release some pent up anger by smashing some rocks to dust.

Hyuuga Hiroshi
Age: 47.

Leader of Gobigakure for: 23 years.

Known history:
Hiroshi was born in Konoha almost half a century ago. He was a good student and had lots of talent as a ninja. He became a genin at age 11, chuunin at 15 and finally jounin at 19. He has visited Gobigakure before he became the leader, that is how he knew about the village.
Around 23 years ago a conflict arose in the Hyuuga clan and everyone had to pick a side. Sadly enough the side Hiroshi chose lost and as a result he was banished from the village. The details of what actually happened is unknown and Hiroshi will not speak of them.
He travelled to gobigakure and spoke with the current leader who abdicated just a few days later, giving Hiroshi the title. Hiroshi was already a well liked person, but as leader he acutally became loved. He started to change small things in the tiny ninja academy, he appointed the best ninjas Gobi had as weekend-teachers for promising students and supervised the exams personally. As a result Gobi ninjas are stronger today than they were 20 years ago, and many agree that they have Hiroshi to thank for it.

Myuubi
Myuumi was the first person Ryuu saved from the Red Walk. She is the same age as Ryuu but suffered greater abuse due to being female. Nonetheless, the girl holds a somewhat positive and wise outlook on life. If Ryuu is viewed as the 'patriarch' of Haven's children, she is viewed as the 'matriarch.' She has a caring demeanor, but none of the children want to cross her

Dari
Dari is the youngest and most recent of the children Ryuu has saved. Unlike the majority of the children who were born to the women of the Red Walk, Dari was captured and sold to slavers who eventually sold the boy to a brothel. Ryuu managed to kill Dari's captors and brought the boy to Haven. Dari is nine years old and follows Ryuu everywhere when he is not on missions.

Kameyo is a sweet and compassionate person, with a slightly loose hold on reality. She works as a chef at a restaurant called The Bouncy Ball, which serves dango as their specialty. She loves her daughter very much and even though Haruka has never been the best to show affection, Kameyo knows that her daughter loves her, too.

Known history:
Suzaku, Kenta and Haruka made up a genin team. Haruka, despite being the runt of her class, was actually the youngest in her team, simply because the other two both showed signs of their chakra abilities late in their childhoods.
Suzaku was the last of the three to show sign of his chakra abilities, but ended up being the most proficient at ninjutsu out of the three. Despite Kenta having the best chakra control and Haruka having the largest amount, Suzaku was the one that turned out to be a genius when it came to mastering the techniques.
Haruka had a huge crush on Suzaku already before they became a team, but she was too shy about her appearance to tell him about it. Once they were in the same team, she did her best to try and get his attention, but always failed. He broke her heart one fateful day, exclaiming that muscular women were disgusting.
Suzaku got pissed when Kenta was promoted to chuunin before him and decided that the small, backwoods village of Gobigakure just was not the place for him. He left his home and team behind at the age of fourteen and no one has seen him or heard from him since.

Suzaku, Kenta and Haruka made up a genin team. Haruka, despite being the runt of her class, was actually the youngest in her team, simply because the other two both showed signs of their chakra abilities late in their childhoods.
Once Kenta finally did show his chakra abilities, he was quick to decide how to use them. He announced on the next day that he would become a medical ninja. His chakra control was terrific, but he kept training to get better. It never bothered him that Suzaku easily outdid him when it came to ninjutsu or the fact that Haruka just never ran out of chakra, no matter how much she failed at her attempts. He knew and understood that each had their own proficiency. He was a little freaked out when Haruka started breaking trees in half with her bare hands, though.
Kenta was the first of the three to get promoted to chuunin. Suzaku had a fit over this and decided to leave the village. Kenta, at odds about how to feel about that, kindly rejected the promotion and asked if he could train young kids who wanted to be medical ninja instead. He was allowed and he still does this today.

Custom Jutsu

When making your own jutsu, there are several things to take into consideration that you usually do not have to think about when just copy/pasting from Narutopedia or something of the like. A custom made jutsu should be balanced; the amount of chakra, concentration and/or physical strain of the technique should match the effect of the outcome. You will also need to think about things like chakra nature of the jutsu (Jutsu Nature), the rank of the technique and classification (ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu ect.). You can read more about those things below.

Jutsu Nature

What is jutsu nature? Well, it is the chakra nature that is needed to preform a certain technique. A fire release technique will require a user with fire nature chakra and a earth release technique will require a user with earth nature. An element-based technique is as such called an Element Release. When making your custom techniques, you will need to keep this in mind.
Now, the main chakra natures are Katon (Fire), Fuuton (Wind), Raiton (Lightning), Douton (Earth) and Suiton (Water). Kekkei Genkai are about to mix and match these chakras to make new elements, such as Wind and Water making Ice.

Jutsu Classifications

What do I mean by “classifications”? I mean, which category of jutsu does your specific technique fit? There are many categories to take into consideration when making your own techniques. First of all, you need to think of whether the technique is ninjutsu, taijutsu or genjutsu. These are the three main classifications. Ninjutsu is offensive or defensive techniques that require chakra use, has a physical outcome and is out of the spectrum of what regular humans can actually do. Taijutsu is hand-to-hand combat or any type of physical combat that does not require the use of chakra, but rather raw stamina, strength and/or speed. Genjutsu are illusionary techniques that does not have any actual physical outcome, but makes things seem different from what they actually are. These three classifications are already divided on the sheet, but there is a classification point on the Jutsu Sheet anyways, because there are more classifications than the main three. All other classifications are still part of one of the main three, but they also have a “second title” and/or“third title”, so to speak. A technique can have multiple classifications, but it does not necessarily have more than one.

Jutsu Ranks

It can sometimes be hard to tell what rank a technique is and when in doubt you can always ask, but try and see if you cannot figure it out on your own, first.

E-rank:
E-rank techniques are weak, to say the least. They are academy student level and are required for a student to even pass the academy. If you were to make an E-rank technique of your own, for whatever reason, it should have very little chakra cost and very little effect. The effect should not be offensive or in any way able to do physical harm.
Examples; Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique), Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique).

D-rank:
D-rank techniques are weak. They are genin level and are expected of a genin. If you make a D-rank technique of your own, it should have low chakra cost, low concentration and low effects. The effect can be offensive, defensive or illusionary.
Many D-rank techniques seem to be extensions of the already learned E-rank techniques, so the genin can get comfortable with using stronger techniques before they are actually required to. I.e Shikyaku no Jutsu (Four Legs Technique) is an extension of Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) as the user will use the same basics as in a transformation, but instead of copying the appearance of another, they take the shape of a more beastly self.
Examples; Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique), Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique).

C-rank:
C-rank techniques are average or medium. They are genin to chuunin level and are required for a genin to become a chuunin. The C-rank techniques are where chakra nature, bloodline limits and secret/family techniques come into the picture.
When making your own C-rank techniques, you need to start thinking about the balance between effort and effect.
Examples;

B-rank:
B-rank techniques are strong. They are chuunin to jounin level and are required for a chuunin to become jounin. B-rank techniques have high costs, requires massive amounts of chakra and serious concentration. They do not necessarily have a high drawback, but the risk is certainly greater than with a C-rank technique.
Examples; Shikon no Jutsu (Dead Soul technique), Doton: Doryuuheki (Earth Release: Earth Wall).

A-rank:
Most A-rank techniques are forbidden, due to the fact that they pose a risk to the user. They are required for a jounin to rise past the norm and stand out enough to be appointed a kage. The cost and/or drawback of an A-rank technique should be higher than the effect/outcome.
Examples; Chidori (One Thousand Birds), Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere).

S-rank:
S-rank techniques are all forbidden and have both extreme costs and effects. They are usually specific to a single user.
Examples; Sousou Saisei (Creation Rebirth), Hiraishin no Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique).

Kekkei Genkai

A Kekkei Genkai, Bloodline Limit, Blood Inheritance or whatever you want to call it (I will usually call it a KG) is a technique that is limited by blood and usually are held within a single clan. A KG is most commonly the ability to mix and match two different chakra natures into making a new one, like Wind and Water making Ice or the ability to manipulate ones body in a way that one would normally not be able to, like bones growing excessively or becoming liquid form.
All known Doujutsu (Eye Techniques) are KG.

Body Type and Shape:
Although she makes people believe that her muscle does not take hours of daily training, this is actually not true. Haruka has a naturally endomorphic body type, which means that although gaining muscle is possible for her, it requires hard work for it to not become fat.
Her body shape is easily inverted triangle, as her broad shoulders easily go past her hip measurements, although she does try to give herself a more feminine shape by the clothes she wear.

Haruka's hair is cut in three layers of length. The front, her bangs, are cut to just above her eyes. The sides, her “frames”, are cut to her shoulders. The back of her hair is mostly free-growing, but she does get it cut to her middle back once it reaches her bum.

Haruka's eyes are a deep, speaking gray color, much like that of steel. This color is common for members of the Hagane clan.

Clothing:
Haruka wears a crimson, sleeveless turtleneck top, with gray neck and shoulders. It clings to her skin like a second layer and bunches a bit around her waist. She wears light gray shorts. Her ninja boots are long, to just under the knees, and has a small amount of heel on them, as well as open toes.

Biography

Background:
Haruka was born on May 3th, as the daughter of a chef of Gobigakure. Her father, according to the tales has mother has told her, was a great hero from Konohagakure. He had swept in and saved her mothers life and taken her heart by storm, only to leave to go be a hero in his home country again. Growing up, Haruka was fascinated with the idea of strong hero ninja. She would often ask her mother questions about her father and her mother would always exaggerate his greatness.

Little Haruka, at he age of only three, looked up at her mother with her huge, glittering eyes. Her mother knew that a question about her father awaited, but she was ready for anything, “Kaachan, was tousan strong?” the small girl asked with that slight lisp of hers, making the words come out even more adorably.
“He was,” her mother replied with a warm smile, pulling the small girl into her lap, “Your tousan was so strong that I once saw him pick up a whole cart – ox, wares and all!” she told with a tone that clearly expressed that this was a remarkable achievement.
Haruka's wide eyes wet even wider and her adorable, little face was broken up by the gigantic grin that spread her lips, “Wow!” she exclaimed, clapping her little hands together, “Do you think I can be as strong as tousan?” she asked excitedly, with the innocence that only a small child could ever bear.
Her mother laughed and ruffled her hair a little, “Of course you can, Haru-chan! You're your tousan's daughter, after all!”

Haruka took her mothers words to heart, though, and never saw them as just exaggerated tales told to a child in need of a hero. She was determined to be just as great as her father. She would be a ninja, she exclaimed over and over again, her words getting more and more serious each time.
When the time finally came for her to be trained in the ninja way, she was far from as great as she had hoped to be. She was clumsy, at best, always tripping on air and falling face-first to the ground when she was training physical combat. She had no control of her chakra, often ending up hurting herself when attempting to use her ninjutsu and genjutsu was just out of the question from the beginning, as the girl just did not have the brains it took to pull it off.
For years, Haruka was the runt of her “class”, always getting laughed at for her attempts, even though she truly was doing the best she could. Over and over again, she was told to give up and do something else; something that would actually be a help to the village. But she refused to quit. Quitting was the same as giving up and she sure as hell was not going to stop as long as she could still move.
Every day, she trained. She trained molding her chakra, often resulting in her hands having second-degree burns all over them. She trained her body, trying to do obstacle courses in hopes that she might get a little less clumsy. She did everything she possibly could, but she still dragged behind the others like a dead fish.

“Kaachan...” Haruka trailed as they sat at the dinner table, at the age of eleven. She was just moving her food around. Usually, she would be scarfing it down like she had not eaten for weeks and the run off to train some more.
Her mother swalloed the lump that was forming in her throat, “What is it, Haru-chan?” she asked as softly as she possibly could. Haruka was never like this. Her mother worried that she was actually giving up.
Haruka sighed and put her chopsticks down, looking her mother in the eye. The look in her eyes was heartbreaking. Her eyes were so sad, like the shine of the steely orbs had been matted by the test of time.
“Kaachan...” Haruka began again, tears welling up in her eyes, but not allowed to flow, “Was my tousan really a ninja?”

Her mother had finally told her the truth at that time. Her father was a ninja, but not some great hero. He was just another man who had come to Gobigakure for entertainment. He had, her mother admitted with guilt in her eyes, been just a kid. It was the truth, she swore, and Haruka left her food untouched as she slammed the front door behind her. It broke off of it hinges. Her mother was baffled as she stared at the door on the floor.
For the next few months, her mother did her very best to piss Haruka off. She wanted to show her just how strong she was, since her daughter could obviously not see it, herself. Haruka was not easily angered, though. She took all of the teasing, mocking and punishment without even blinking. She truly believed that she deserved to be treated badly.
When Haruka was twelve, she announced to her mother that she was quitting being a ninja. She was just not strong enough.

“Haru-chan!” her mother scolded, making her daughter twinge and look to the floor in shame. She took her daughter by the shoulders and gave her a shake, “You will not quit! You hear me! You won't quit!” she ordered.
Haruka sniffled, her gaze still at the floor and refusing to meet her mother's, “Why...?” she questioned with a tone so broken that it made her mother want to pick her up and cradle her, like she had done when she was just a baby.
“You're strong, Haru!” her mother insisted, “You are!”
Haruka sniffled again and pulled against her mother's hold a little, but her mother held her there.
“You're strong!” her mother repeated, giving her daughter another shake, “Listen to me!”
Just then, as she had been trying to for months, her mother managed to get Haruka to snap back at her, “I'm weak!”
“You're strong!” her mother argued, giving the girl another shake.
With tears streaming down her face and letting out a wail like a pig being branded, Haruka pulled herself free from her mothers hold with ease and pushed the woman back, denting the wall with the force of the push and the weight of her mother.

After that day, Haruka never doubted her own strenght again. It was as if she had simply not seen the muscles, much like one with anorexia sees themselves as fat, no matter what people tell them. She kept training every day and eventually, she did get the gist of things.
When she was promoted to genin, her mother gave her a sword that she chose to name “Seidou”. You can be the hero your father was not, was the words on the card. Her mother trained her in getting angry, after all those years of keeping her emotions bottled up inside.

Today:
Finally, after two years of being a genin, Haruka was promoted to chuunin. She still feels that everyone else is much stronger than her, mostly because she is still horrible at ninjutsu. She wants to grow stronger. She wants to be a hero. She wants to serve judgment to the wicked, like her sword tells her to. But mostly, she just wants to make her mother proud and be the true hero that her father was not.

Personality:
Haruka is a very insecure person. She is self-conscious about her looks, her powers and her brains. No matter how casually a remark may be said, she takes them to heart as critique. She gets easily hurt and easily angry, but calming her down is quite hard.
Haruka does not do things halfway; if she gets angry, she will get murderous. If she gets sad, she will get depressed and when she is happy, she is ecstatic. Usually, she is quite happy.
Haruka is obsessed with be strong; stronger; the strongest(!) and she will do anything to achieve this goal (read Special Traits; Will of Steel). Being insecure (as she is) is a sign of weakness and a sign of weakness she is not willing to show. She might get mad when told she is clumsy or stupid and she might get depressed when told that real ninja use Ninjutsu, but she will never admit it to the one that has hurt her. Her outward reaction will always be anger.

• Will of Steel


Haruka's will of steel is something that is believed to be inherited by the Hagane blood that flows in her veins. She is stubborn like few and once she gets an idea into her head, she will not stop until her goal has been accomplished.



• Not the Sharpest Tool in the Shed


Although Haruka will fly into uncontrollable, table-throwing and wall-demolishing, rage whenever someone informs her of this fact, she really is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Her brain works in mysterious ways and takes far longer to get to a conclusion than most; and most of the time her conclusions are wrong.



• The Clumsy Swordsman


Despite the fact that she constantly trips over her own feet, branches or even pebbles, Haruka has chosen to wield a giant, two-hand broadsword as her main weapon. The will often fall over when swinging her sword, due to the sheer weight of it.



• Chakra Beast


Despite the fact that Haruka's control of her chakra is far from great, she is not very likely to run out of it. She has copious amounts of chakra for her to use, mostly due to her excessive training in an attempt to perfect her chakra educed strength.



• Chakra Induced Strength


Haruka is obsessed with being physically strong and as so, she has gone as far as to make herself stronger by infusing her muscles with chakra. Due to this, her physical power is far beyond that of a regular human and she is capable of smashing boulders with her bare hands.



• Missing Tooth


During one of her many trainings, Haruka was unfortunate and clumsy enough to fall face-first onto a rock, knocking out one of her front teeth. Even more unluckily, it was a permanent tooth. This results in her speaking sort of funny, with a slight "lisp" and, sometimes, she makes small whistle noises by accident, which she finds very embarrasing.

• ”Seidou (正道)”


Haruka's trusty sword. “Her” name means, “The Path of Righteousness”.
“Seidou” is stuck to her back in a magnetic sheath where the blade is “clicked” into place and held there by four small claws.
Along the egg of the sword, “判断は邪悪を降りかかる (Handan wa jaaku o furikakaru)” is etched into the blade. The symbols mean ”Judgement befalls the wicked”
“Seidou” is a a giant, broadsword-version of a katana.



• Ninja pouch


Haruka has her ninja pouch fastened to the back of her belt; right above her left butt-cheek. Within this ninja pouch, she carries with her a roll of bandages, a bottle of rubbing alcohol, a flash of water and a nutrition bar.




• Weapon holster


Haruka carries her weapon holster on her left thigh. The holster has room for five kunai, five shuriken, ten makibishi and ten senbon, which she almost always has stocked to the max.

These two exercises are meant to enhance the users chakra concentration and control. The Tree Climbing Practice allows the user to “glue” themselves to even surfaces in order to walk up vertical walls or stand upside-down on ceilings. The Water Walking Practice allows the user to walk on the surface of water by constantly changing the flow of chakra to fit the movement of the water.
Haruka has not quite “mastered” these skills and often break the ground beneath her when attempting to glue herself to a surface as well as fall through the surface of the water when attempting that.
Drawback:
Both techniques take concentration and control; use too much chakra and you will break the surface, too little and you won't stick.

Unlike the Chakra Enhanced Strength that Tsunade and Sakura use, Haruka's version of this ”technique” is not focused on chakra control in the same sense. The original version of this technique applied a layer of chakra around the extremities of the user in order to release it as an explosion-like punch or kick.
Haruka's version is, unbeknownst to her, actually not a unique thing. She is merely opening the first of the Eight Gates, the Opening Gate, which allows the user to use the full capacity of their body's muscle power, rather than the meager twenty percent that they usually use.
Drawback:
Serious physical strain, as human bodies are not meant to be used at full capacity. Feeling broken and battered is not unusual either, as all effects has an equal countereffect; when you punch someone in the face, their face punches back your fist. Also, there is a pretty good risk of actually breaking your own bones, as those are not meant for the human body to reach full capacity, either.

Well... Uhh... Lets see... The Second Shinobi war was about... ten years before the Thrid Shinobi War, I think... (with the second war being the one that made the sannin famous and the third being the one that made Minato famous...) and the Third Shinobi War was around ten years before the start of the series...
And all of these musing are really just for myself. I'd say the story takes place eigth years after the Second Shinobi War, meaning that the Third Shinobi War is just a few years away.

Once a clan of powerful Mercenaries, the Uchiha were the primary founders of Konohagakure alongside the Senju. They are a traditional clan with roots going back all the way to the creation of the Shinobi. Despite this, even their young men can be tempted to give into the ways of the flesh. The two to three Uchiha in Gobi are not even aware of their heritage to the powerful clan. Though they have seen each other about the village and some have commented on their physical resemblance, such is the case in a village that offers pleasure. Ryuu is aware of the fact that he might be related to others in the village, but he simply does not care. Biography

Background:
Sometime before the Second Shinobi World War, an Uchiha Shinobi stopped by Gobi for a night of relaxation. He left the next day. A few months later revealed a pregnant woman in the brothel he had visited. As the woman had slept with many men, she was not sure as to the father and so was left to raise the child on her own. Time passed and she gave birth to a young boy who she named Ryuu.

Ryuu grew up in the harsh world of a brothel and was introduced to the realities of the world far sooner than most. Abuse was nearly a daily occurrence as his mother rarely had the time to look after the young boy. The abuse was harsh and caused a deep hatred to fester in his heart against the world. This hatred activated Ryuu sharingan briefly, though he never really recognized what it was and it only activated sporadically when in deep distress. Though the young boy loved his mother, he clearly recognized her faults and so he learned to survive on his own. At the age of nine, his mother died due to an unknown disease given to her by a client.

Time passed until at the age of ten, Ryuu was recognized to have the capacity to become a ninja. This opened up a whole new world for the boy and he leaped at the chance to move beyond his miserable life. Ryuu devoted himself to the study of being a Shinobi and though it was a hard road, Ryuu succeeded.In two years, Ryuu was made a Genin and assigned to missions along other Gobi Shinobi.

Unfortunately, the hatred that was in Ryuu’s heart did not dissipate as new opportunities for him arose. In interacting with the outside world, Ryuu’s one hope that life could be better than just the survival of the fittest died. And so he devoted himself even further to becoming ‘the fittest.’ His devotion left him somewhat isolated from his peers, though he was civil with them.

Things changed even further, however, when at the age of fourteen he awakened his heritage. Though the young teenager had grown immensely and faced combat before; he had yet to truly face a dangerous opponent. This changed when on a simple escort mission, they were attacked by Konoha Shinobi. The fighting was fierce between the Konoha Chuunin and the group of Gobi Genin. Eventually only Ryuu and one remaining Konoha Chuunin remained. Ryuu was quickly knocked down and disarmed with the killing blow about to be struck. Hatred welled within his heart and suddenly everything changed. The young teen could see the Chuunin’s movements and chakra as the man formed the hand signs for a jutsu. Reacting quickly, Ryuu found that he could copy the Chuunin’s movements and chakra. The two Shinobi finished their techniques and two grand fireballs flew from their mouths to a stalemate.

The Konoha Shinobi was left in stunned at the two tomoes in Ryuu’s eyes. Ryuu moved forward and grabbed his wakizashi from the ground with a speed that the stunned Konoha Chuunin could not match. As Ryuu’s blade pierced the man’s heart, only a single word was uttered, “Sharingan…”

Ryuu made his way home, pondering the words and this new ability. The young genius experimented and found that by sending chakra to his eyes he could activate the ability. It was a slight drain on his chakra to keep it activated, but nothing too severe. Ryuu’s strength grew immensely over the next three years as he performed what few missions were offered and spent the majority of time training. He was soon promoted to Chuunin. His eyes remained in the same state of two tomoe, but the young man slowly and haphazardly became proficient with the basic abilities given by the Dojutsu.

Though unaware of the Dojutsu’s genjutsu potential in a more advanced form, Ryuu devoted his fighting style to integrating illusions into his bladework. The young man did not possess a huge amount of chakra, but it was more than sufficient for his style of fighting. Using his chakra control to its fullest, Ryuu found that he could enhance his speed as well as form numerous illusions in the minds of others. It was during this time he also devoted himself to mastering Fire. He succeeded and then moved onto Wind which he found much more difficult.

Today:
Ryuu is currently a Chuunin of Gobikagure, but he feels that he should have been promoted to Jounin a while back. He feels it is only the current Jounin’s desire to maintain control that prevents such a promotion. However, despite these feelings; Ryuu also recognizes that he has yet to truly create a jutsu that would mark him as an A-rank Shinobi. Ryuu feels stifled by the environment of Gobikagure and is considering becoming a missing-nin to find out more about the Sharingan. Furthermore, there is a deep rooted hatred in his heart for those who abused him. Thanks to his sharingan, he remembers every face. There is a sub-conscious desire to seek out these men and kill them.

Personality:
Ryuu is intelligent and quiet. He is not quite antisocial, but his demeanor does not lend itself to many friends. He is ambitious and firmly holds a cynical view on life. Loyalty is a very fluid thing for him. Ryuu does not respond well to physical touch unless it is from a woman. He will ignore attempts at hand-shakes, high-fives, etc. from males and even females to a degree. Being touched without warning can cause him to react violently.

Special Traits

-Sharingan. As a descendant of the Uchiha Clan, Ryuu has activated the Sharingan to the second level. He is capable of copying most taijutsu and ninjutsu. He is also capable of seeing through B-rank through low A-rank illusions. He can follow fast movements easily and due to his own training can keep up with his reaction times. He currently does not have three-tomoe and as such is unable to perform the genjutsu provided by the sharingan. The more esoteric arts of the Dojutsu are completely unknown to him.

-Tactician. Ryuu is naturally adept at combat strategy and maximizing team efficiency. His mind sees the best possible route to accomplish something on the battlefield.

-Freezes up. Due to his past, coming into physical contact with men (whether combat or otherwise) will cause Ryuu to freeze up. The severity of this panic attack depends on the physical contact/man's demeanor. This is one of the primary reasons he focused upon blade work.

-Disloyal. Ryuu is quite selfish and his only motivation for helping others is if it will benefit himself in the long run. His harsh upbringing and eventual death of his mother has left him entirely distrustful of others. He has no loyalty to Gobi as a whole.

-Uncouth. Ryuu is somewhat unrefined when it comes to more delicate matters such as etiquette and formal meetings. This is due to his upbringing as a child of the night.

-Moderate Chakra Capacity: Ryuu has neither low nor high chakra capacity for his age and skill. Considering his lack of high chakra, Ryuu has shied away from Ninjutsu as a specialty and focused on Genjutsu and Kenjutsu. That said, with his sharingan he has copied numerous jutsu though he is only actually able to perform one. He understands how these jutsus are performed, but is unable to actually use them himself.

Summary: A ninjutsu that creates an intangible copy of one's own body, without any substance. Since the clone itself doesn't have the ability to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy, it is mainly used in combination with other ninjutsu. It's a basic technique, but depending on one's ingenuity, it can be used effectively. The clones may not dissipate when they come into contact with something.

Summary: A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire and expelled from the mouth either as a massive orb of roaring flame or as a continuous flame-thrower. The scope of the attack is altered by controlling the volume of chakra that is mustered. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater on the ground's surface.

Summary: Ryuu uses his elemental chakra to run fire or wind along his blades. This has a low chakra cost, but requires immense control or it will lash out violently and potentially harm Ryuu. Also a lack of control would result in his chakra being drained to near exhaustion. The elemental chakra coats the blades for enhanced attacking power and offers extended reach; the blades are even more detrimental against wind or lightning styles depending upon whether Ryuu is using fire or wind respectively. Ryuu is currently working on learning how to combine Fire and Wind so that he can send both natures down the tantos at once. This would upgrade the technique to A-rank.

Taijutsu:

Taijustu:Ryuu is trained in basic Taijutsu stances, but do to his training in Kenjutsu his speed and strength is much greater than most non-taijutsu specialists

Kenjutsu: Ryuu is an expert swordsman on the way to becoming a master. He has copied several sword styles and works daily to master them. During his training, he has discovered how to unlock the first Gate though he is unaware of the actual name for it. He merely believes it to be speed and strength granted by manipulating his chakra. Ryuu's style of swordsmanship is heavily integrated with his genjutsu. The young man will often use his genjutsu to alter depth perception such as the length, width, speed, or power of his blades. Ryuu's movements are typically very fast and fluid. The majority of his strikes are arcing strikes aimed to cut.

Summary: A less powerful variant of Konoha's Dance of the Crescent Moon, the user creates two clones before proceeding to assault the enemy, with the clones attacking from the left and right and the user attacking from above. Weaving through the technique, Ryuu will attempt to land a fatal strike. If failing to do so, he will use the genjutsu employed by his blades to make it appear as though one of the clones managed to cut the opponent, tricking the senses into accepting the pain. Thereby making the opponent believe the clone to be an actual threat rather than illusion.

Summary: With this technique, Ryuu uses his wakizashi's to weave a powerful genjutsu. The genjutsu places the victim in an illusionary world. In this world, numerous blades are strewn upon the ground making it impossible to take a step without slicing one's feet. The greater danger is in the air. Butterflies with blades for wings quite nearly suffuse the air as they flit about. This genjutsu makes the victim feel as if their body under attack from a meat grinder. It follows the same rules as other genjutsu in regards to breaking free and lack of real world damage aside from mental.

Manipulating his chakra, Ryuu can use the blades to send blasts of chakra at his opponents similar in nature to that of the Samurai in the Land of Iron. However this chakra is infused with fire and wind, making them much more potent. 5%

Wind Mastery: Ryuu has been training the Wind element for a little over two months and is currently on the leaf cutting stage. He is currently able to cut a leaf about an eighth of the way through. Hence, most people will often seem him with a leaf in his hand if he is not doing more intensive training. He finds it frustrating that something is not coming easily to him for once. 10%

This, coupled with the fact that he is an "expert swordsman" and a genjutsu user, really makes my "Gary Stu" sirens go off.

I did, actually. I have read it through a few times, in fact. I feel like I've seen this character before, but I cannot remember where/when for the life of me. Is she a remake of another character of yours from before the Apocalypse(AKA, The OldGuild)?

I'm not a fan of the A-rank genjutsu technique. Generally, I'm not a fan of A-rank techniques for a chuunin. A-rank techniques require years of training (unless you're Sasuke or Naruto who magically master them in a few days through sheer power of will).
Also, I don't feel that the drawback is great enough for a technique that could potentially kill someone without them really having a chance to fight back (since breaking free of genjutsu is actually quite hard).

I have to say, I very much dislike the "split personality" thing she's got going on. I know that it's a bit part of her character and that without it, she becomes a bit generic, but it just really irks me.
But as I told Pasta Sentinent, I'll have to wait for Halvtand before I make my final decision, because according to him (and my other narutards from before the Apocalypse), I am very picky and he functions as my voice of reason.

First of all, no worries!!! I am definitely willing to work through some things on the character. I have been doing WIP on it before you replied, so that might be why there is some confusion? I got rid of the earth element in my WIP because I agree that it was OP. Like, any shinobi is capable of using any element; but mastery is another thing entirely. When I state that Wind is Ryuu's secondary, I do not mean that he has mastered that. Rather it is what he is currently working on to move on to Jounin level. He is not a ninjutsu master. He has just copied a lot of them. He knows 'how' to perform them. But he is not a master of these techniques. Nor does he really use them in combat. The only 'ninjutsu' he uses is the custom Element Blade. The other ninjutsu is just what he has copied and is capable of haphazardly using. He's not Kakashi.

So I apologize if there is some confusion there because of the sheet. If you want me to only post the jutsu he actually has mastered and uses I will put that down. In regards to elements, he has only mastered Fire. Slowly working on Wind, but it is taking awhile. He is a skilled swordsman and uses his advanced chakra control to enhance his speed. He has a decent understanding of genjutsu and can integrate it into his attacks with his sword.

I would agree in the case of newly minted Chuunin. However if someone has been a Chuunin for awhile I can see them having mastered some skills. The problem with a lot of it is that Kishimoto kinda screwed with the power scale to make a more interesting story. Technically nearly every genin we see in the Rookie 9 at the beginning is almost or already Chuunin level compared to what was originally described.

I would prefer it if you would fix it so only the mastered jutsu are listed. As for the Element Blade (that's what you called it, right), I would like a bit more of a description as to how this technique would work.

As the name might suggest (his father isn't the most imaginative individual), the Kusarifukin style relies on using chains to trip and unbalance the opponent, then swooping in with an ax for the finishing blow. Background:

Sweat poured off of Daiken's back. The sun beat onto the ground. He smelled dirt. Birds trilled. The ax fell. The sun beat onto the ground, birds trilled. The ax rose. A slight wind snaked through the grass. Flies buzzed. The ax fell again.

He found such monotony comforting. The weight of the ax was solid in his hands, and constant. Each time it bit into the wood he was satisfied. His days were uneventful, but he always knew what was going to happen tomorrow, and that was enough. The ax rose.

"Daiken."

The ax hesitated, and stopped. Daiken put it down and turned around. His father was sitting on a tree-trunk, looking at him intently.

"Daiken," he repeated. "You're what, eleven now? Thirteen?"

"Dad, I'm ten."

"Close enough!" His usual jovial expression showed, but it vanished just as quickly, revealing the same intensity as before. "I think it's about time I teach you what the ninja is."

Daiken blinked. This was new. "Like you?"

Dad nodded. "Like me, but maybe better. I spent a great part of my life protecting this village, but listen to me well, Daiken." He leaned forward, and so did Daiken.

"It wasn't worth it."

"Protecting the village? I thought you liked it!"

"No, well," he looked embarassed, "that wasn't put very well, I'll admit it. After all those years, I still haven't found my purpose. Chopping trees is well and good, but you can do better. More! What I couldn't do. Find your own purpose."

"I like chopping trees though."

"You'll be able to chop even greater trees, away from here. Mightier trees than those that grow normally. The mightiest trees. But you'll have to find them. That is what the ninja does."

"Find trees?" Daiken was puzzled. "I thought they protected the village."

"No no no," said his father. "Well yes, they do protect the village. But that is not the purpose of the ninja. The ninja is one who has been given the tools to seek out his path. It is his task to seek out his path."

"And what about the trees?"

"I don't know." He laughed. "That is your path, which only you can walk. As a ninja, you'll be able to go places you couldn't go otherwise, do things normally impossible. You'll be able to find the tallest trees. It'll be a difficult road, but the better ninja you become walking the path, the easier it becomes."

"Alright." Daiken didn't sound convinced.

"Dammit son!" His father stood, fire in his eyes. "Become a ninja, and fell the mightiest trees in the land!"

"How will I find them?" His father's excitement seemed to be contagious.

"You'll recognize them once you see them. Remember this: the ninja walks his own path, strength and skill are merely the tools. Now go out and find those trees!"

"Alright!"

Today:

Spinning the chain, Daiken whirled the ax above him. Flexing his wrist, he sent it flying towards a tree-trunk. It bit just above the roots. He tried pulling it back, but stumbled. Daiken narrowed his eyes. The trunk was covered in cuts, but he hadn't manage to make it hit in the same place twice -- nor were they deep enough. It had been some time since his father's impromptu speech, but the words were burned into him. What he was doing now, too, was monotonous, but Daiken felt it as a different kind of monotony. No longer was he chopping trees simply to chop trees. He knew that with each trunk chopped, new treelines beckoned. Taller trees.

Daiken spun the chain again.

Personality:

Daiken is a boisterious individual. At a table, or in a group, he will be the loudest voice and the most appreciative stomach. He will always try to involve people in the conversation (that he is usually leading), and doesn't like seeing people left out. He's the kind of individual to root for the underdog. Part of this may be due to his self-confidence. Daiken knows he's not the underdog, and that he is thus in a position to root for it. Perhaps he thinks a bit too highly of himself, and is prone to make claims he can't back up, especially around individuals he admires.

Coversely, left to his own devices, Daiken is quiet, brooding. He'll stare off into the distance, and if someone interrupts him, he'll mutter something about trees, then hasitly change the subject, start chattering. To be honest, he prefers being with other people, so that he can get away from his own thoughts. They tend to be rather invasive. Sometimes they don't let him sleep, either. When that happens, he'll seek the tallest spot he can and sit there, staring at the sky.

Strong

Daiken is strong both physically and confident in his own strength. It is hard to shake
him.

Dependable

If you have a problem, Daiken will do his best to solve it. Once he's made good friends,
he'll stick with them through fire and flame. His first approach is to take an
ax to it, of course, but if that doesn't work, he's rather patient. He's good at understanding
the strengths of others, but his opinion of himself is a bit flawed, which sometimes brings
complications.

Blunt

While friendly and open, ask him a question, and expect him to speak what's on his
mind. He's been brought up to consider honesty the only way, so Daiken doesn't even
consider the consequences. This also can sometimes bring complications. He always
feels bad if he inadvertedly hurts someone, though.

Can't lie

Not even to save his life. If he tries, he'll stare upwards and fidget violently. It just
doesn't work.

Combat is Serious Business

When he has to fight, he does not laugh, nor does he take it lightly. In combat he's a
positional fighter: constantly analyzing the opponent and trying to either undermine their
position, or strengthen his. Daiken's unconventional fighting style forces him to do this,
as one miscalculation could be very bad.

About his power level ... Anko and Hayate are both tokubetsu jounin or Specialized Jounin, if you will, and their power levels are far from each other. Very far.
Hayate (haha, Gekko (lame nerd joke)) is specialized in Kenjutsu (Sword Techniques) and in tracking/steath skills. He has a dual specialization, which is rare amongst tokubetsu jounin. He is actually very powerful.
As for Anko... If we forget about the creepy snake for a minute (as if I ever could *shudders*), she is specialized in the use of senbon (ninja needles) and she is, according to the other ninja, one of the best at the use of these.
Uhh... Tokubetsu jounin might be "weak" compared to regular jounin, but that is because they are specialized in a single area, which they have perfected, rather than having a little bit here and a little bit there (Kakashi being the exception as he masters everything he does by Gary Stu-ness).

You already know that I think the Chain-Ax is boss, so that's all fine and dandy, too.

Techniques are good; nothing OP. In fact, if it weren't for the boss-ness of his Chain-Ax, I'd say he's a bit underpowered.

All in all, he's good. I'll accept him. Still need Halvtand's vote, though (I might be blinded by the Chain-Ax).

Occasionally, especially when traveling long distance she is known to wear a large black cloak with a red hood featuring animal fur lining the inside.

Biography

Background:
Miyako heard many stories of her parents and their upbringings. Her father was a premier Sunagkure Shinobi who was known for his advanced Jiton techniques, he was held in high regard and was even considered one of the best Shinobi of his time until a botched mission resulted in his disgrace. With his reputation demolished he left and became a missing nin, finding refuge in Gobigakure no Sato. As one of its first occupants he helped defend the small settlement from many skirmishes but unable to retrieve his fame and with the constant whispers he heard behind him, Miyako's father eventually became a violent and brutal man. One day during an Amegakure-Kusagakure skirmish her father lead a small group to defend Gobigakure no Sato's borders. What occurred after is contested but what Miyako learned was her father had directed an unneeded form of violence towards one of the young female Amegakure Chuunin, Miyako's mother. The other members of her father's group allegedly slayed her father as retribution for his heinous act but with the deed already done the damage couldn't be repaired. The other Amegakure Shinobi now saw Miyako's mother as too weak to return home and attempted to kill her on the spot. The Gobigakure men defended her and gave her salvation in their home, where she was destined to raise Miyako.

Her mother, Kikyo Usagi, was given the former residence of Miyako's father, who held a large cache of scrolls featuring knowledge from mainly Sunagakure but also intelligence on both Iwagakure and Kumogakure styles. While her father kept records of Sunagakure's typical poison mixtures and basic-recipes, unique Jiton techniques and advanced weapon styles, Miyako's mother proved to be her primary influence. Miyako's mother introduced her to Amegakure's neurotoxin-based technology which is much more potent than Sunagakure's which is designed more to weaken rather than entirely execute, her mother also provided her with Komainu who was the offspring of a former familiar of her mother's, along with the knowledge on how to utilize various weapon styles.


Today:
As of now, Miyako trains to extend her Ninjutsu field feeling that with more Jutsu knowledge she can outwit opponents from other lands. She also believes her father's death was a little too suspicious and lacked concrete evidence. While she is forced to feel gratitude he gave her life, the way he went about it was unforgivable and Miyako has promised her mother if she ever comes across him in her travels he will pay for the crimes he committed. This deep motivation is the drive behind much of what Miyako does today.

Miyako is a calculated individual, she sees anything that is not productive as a waste of her time and leisure is a four letter word. Taking her title as a Shinobi very seriously, she is all business and no play. This hardcore focus on Shinobi arts create one deadly individual, her aloof nature allows her to stay far enough from her allies to avoid emotional tampering with decisions and her analytical nature grants her the ability to outsmart many. Sticking by the belief that a Shinobi requires exact precision, a sharp mind and a strong will she builds herself around those three core concepts. However she has a softer side which is clear with her companion, the two share a brother-sister bond that few understand from the outside. This close relationship with an animal makes Miyako oddly compassionate and protective of anything non-human, believing humans to be vile creatures herself who are simply built to destroy. Komainu's warm and benevolent personality often clashes with Miyako's cold one, the extreme difference in the two allows them both to assess situations from the another's point of view resulting in an often stronger decision.

Special Traits

• Precision is Key


While most Shinobi train for raw power, utilizing force as their weapon. Miyako was knowingly unable to compete and as such has focused on making each movement of hers count. This high level of precision applies to everything from her basic accuracy of her Chakra control, no movement or action is wasted by Miyako.



• Poison Specialist


Being the daughter of two residents from countries harboring the most advanced poison-based styles, Miyako holds a high knowledge of Toxicology. She has synthesized a few toxic brews of her own and also uses recipes and mixtures her mother and father both knew. This combined knowledge is almost unheard of anywhere else in the world.



• Sensor Type Shinobi


Miyako is one of the few Shinobi who has said they can 'feel' Chakra sources, although an amateur at the skill she can still utilize it.



• Cat-like Agility


Having grown up alongside Komainu, she was forced to keep up with his speed and agility. This high level of expectation kept her body honed enough to perform complex agile maneuvers, which she easily translates into her combat style. They say cats always land on their feet, so does Miyako.



• Animal Companion


Since she was a young girl, Komainu and Miyako were best friends sharing a bond neither one needed words to express. Since this goes beyond that of simple friendship the two can easily understand the other's intentions with a simple gaze. Komainu serves as not only a summoning familiar to her in battle, but a life-long friend as well.



• Bukijutsu Specialist


Unable to utilize poweful Taijutsu attacks or complex Ninjutsu skills, Miyako has trained a fair amount in a variety of weapon skills. As of now this includes: Kayakujutsu (Gunpowder Techniques), Bōjutsu (Staff Techniques), Shurikenjutsu (Throwing Techniques), Tessenjutsu (Iron-Fan Techniques).

Equipment

• Summoning Scroll


A large scroll used to summon the variety of weapons in her arsenal, Miyako can also use this scroll to summon Komainu. This scroll also holds the ability to summon a variety of explosives, unique shuriken and other various weapons Miyako may train herself in.




• Ninja pouch


A small pouch on her hip carrying a large stash of supplies for traps including: wires, explosive tags, shuriken, senbon and paint. Also holds a decent amount of room for extra supplies she may be forced to carry along.




• Sensuhasaki - Folding edge of blades fan.


A large iron fan, comprised of many sword blades affixed in a fan shape. A weapon made specifically for Miyako, she can fold it and utilize her staff-based fighting style or expand it for a fan-based style. The tool itself is held together by a complex magnetic rig Miyako herself created which features a powerful magnetic bar fitted as the point of pivot for the fan, this powerful magnet can be used to help her generate a stronger magnetic field. Her advanced control over this weapon along with her magnet release makes Miyako a deadly adversary with this in hand. Each of the eight blades is inscribed with a different Kanji, labeling them individually, each with their own weight and thickness.

Komainu - Lion-dog summoning familiar

Name: Komainu aka "Koma"
Title: The Shisa of the North.

Abilities: Koma's main ability is his physical prowess, being such a massive creature he easily packs a heavy punch combined with the uncommon high agility something his size should have makes one physical beast to deal with. Koma also holds the ability to use Chakra, which generally takes the form of Raiton-based attacks generating his mouth.
Physical Description: Koma is a large dog-like animal with a thick red mane around his throat and large paws featuring razor-sharp claws much like a lion. Koma has a thick, heavy burnt orange coat with black lines and small flecks of red scattered throughout. His face is marked with ceremonial Shisa tattoos which give him a prominent and intricate pair of eyebrows etched into his skin. Along with them matching markings are tattooed into his front legs and chest, down his back and across his hind to the tip of his tail. These blueish-gray markings indicate Koma is a true Shisa guardian, making him the guardian of the North which is paired with the guardian of the south who was Miyako's mothers companion which met an untimely fate during Koma's upbringing.

Miyako's basic Jiton technique, which allows her to magnetize various objects. This magnetization can be transferred either by touching it herself or by her Jiton Chakra making contact with an object.
Drawback:
Being such a basic technique few drawbacks are present other than the complex level of Chakra control and precision required to be a strong Jiton user. The technique also requires Miyako to be in close vicinity of whatever she wishes to magnetize which may be good or bad.

Effect:
Miyako utilizes her Jiton to separate her fan into its components, she can then take four of the blades and stake them into the ground forming a square shape. Upon activation the user creates a Jiton-based barrier which utilizes the repulsive forces of magnets to deflect attacks. When a creature, Raiton-based attack or metal object come in contact with the barrier's edges they are infused with Jiton chakra making them Magnetic.
Drawback:
The technique's purely defensive aspect makes it extremely easy to evade, the amount of time required to erect the barrier also makes it illogical to attempt in the middle of a tense fight.

Effect:
Miyako formulates a powerful but small magnetic field around her body, much like a planetary object. This barrier repels most forms of physical attacks and add a heavy extra layer of defense against strong attacks. Miyako can also utilize this field to give herself the ability to levitate, when concentrated she can use this to generate a speed faster than most can run.
Drawback:
Requires a constant stream of Chakra to be utilized, its heavy defensive nature inhibits offensive capabilities. Since concetration is required, Miyako cannot use any other techniques when this is active.

Bōjutsu - Trained in fighting with a staff, she can utilize the closed Sensuhasaki as such. With this style, she has learned how to use it as an extension of her body.

Tessenjutsu - While most Sunagakure-bred Shinobi learn to use fans to direct wind-based techniques, Miyako's acts as the base for her magnetic abilities as such she can use the fan as a premade magnetic source.

Shurikenjutsu - Every Shinobi is trained in the art of throwing projectiles but few like Miyako who can use her magnetic-based abilities to direct and enhance the power of these objects. She also is known for her unique form of Shuriken which come in three varieties; the massive disc-shaped ones that are completely round featuring a fully sharpened edge on all sides evenly which makes these impossible to wield by hand without resulting in self-harm, a vary small seven pointed star which can be launched with such speeds they will continue to drive forward even after striking a target resulting in deep puncture wounds and the medium sized tri-point which is designed to stab and impale more than slice.
