*The beam itself is what breaks through the shielding, not your hand, but the beam only causes it to collapse and doesn't actually penetrate. My physical armor still remains and continues to replenish itself. I grab your arm that you used to attack me and sever it with sharp, solid energy, then turn the energy into a wide beam that vaporizes it*
