I'd personally suggest star-buster level, though others would likely suggest planet-buster, and technically she could start out at regular mobian level and just grow stronger with time.

Not really; you seem fairly competent. Just remember to keep the IC as realistic as possible and consider it a simulation/transcript of reality. Everything is scientifically possible and makes sense, and lacks OOC communication. You'll have to have a reason they showed up somewhere near "the group," but other than that, you seem golden to jump in. There'll be a grace period where we'll evaluate you as well.
