I think most films today are rough, spectacle films. But it's not all bad some really interesting films are still made. But you're not going to find that looking at Jumanji remakes. The Big Short and Creed come to mind as pretty good films recently. So there's that.

Also for those who it may concern, when I do get around to writing up Gren's history, he is essentially Robo Cop with Captain America's backstory: Someone who wanted to fight the good fight, ended up getting mortally wounded for it, given the chance to try out an experimental procedure to turn him into a cyborg, and used as a propaganda machine while also being a war machine. And a sorta effective one, at least in Vacuo.
