Kotori - An Invisible Songbird

Through the thinning crowds, she had no fortune. Not a single hint or clue of the Giant who likely had her tome. Miserably, she wove through the northern half of the grounds as swiftly as she could, with eyes of onyx darting to even the shadows in the vain attempt to find the enigmatic boy who likely had her rather embarrassing book.

Shaking her head, it suddenly struck her that she had never actually contemplated whether or not it was truly embarrassing. Not until now had she actually thought of such a fact, sure it was a rather touch peculiar in terms of reading tastes of normal high school girls; but was it something that was absolutely vulgar? Dark and dismal perhaps, but not necessarily heinous or perverse. It wasn't the first time she had read that book and it wasn't certainly the last, being keen on the details within certainly helped.

Slightly, at least slightly, her soul settled from the storm of her initial fluster.

Jumping nearly a mile however as the sound of an announcement forcing the students to return to the Auditorium once again, Kotori found herself within the reign of an opportunity! If ALL of the student body was required to go there, it was quite likely that Sasaki would be there too! With renewed determination, the girl turned about and strode back to where this whole misadventure had somewhat begun.

To the Auditorium where she had realized her book was missing. Ironically, he was probably there the entire time; and she was so foolish as to panic. Clenching her fists tightly, so tightly in fact that her fingernails dug into her palms, Kotori made her way back to the Auditorium. Now was not the time to criticize herself on her foolishness, now was the time to retrieve what was hers.

Sitting towards the back as the rest of her fellow delinquent students filed in, her eyes scanned the crowds for one who towered above the others. This time, it didn't take long to look for him, as he was talking...well, it seemed that he was talking with another student.

She had found him! But an immediate survey of him revealed no book.

That certainly didn't bode well.

Plot ensues!

Two stories set in motion!

A Certain Chaotic Academy
First and most imminent, an escaped test subject called J-34K has been killing people in the vicinity. Kae is attempting to recruit students to fight this murderer. J-34K seems to have some connection to Eita and Anderson. The second is about a notorious gang that have been around for 5 years in Academy City resembling that of Skill Out, Akura but are being used by someone in the shadows. Could somehow be connected to the J-34K incident?

J-34K's activities have reached Anti-Skill thus alarmed and on their way to meet Judgement's Takahatsu Nobuyuki who had been telepathically informed by Captain Toshiki. According to Toshiki's information, a few students of their school were severely wounded by J-34K going by the code name; White Chapel Ghoul. Toshiki and his team suspects Kaori, Akira, and Kotori's friends but remains calm to see what really happened however they suspect Kaori due to the sprinklers incident which at the same time was the calling retreat of J-34K.

What will be the reaping of our students?

Meanwhile............at Academy City General Hospital...
Collaboration with Clock, Hospital

"Underblast"

"So tell me what happen to them?" Doctor Arisaki Nobu looked into the room with three students in critical condition.
"Umm..." his assistance dug through a small folder and read it to him, "Apparently these three were attacked last night."
"Details?" Dr. Nobu sipped his coffee.
"The green-haired girl is Otonashi Shizuka, it appears that she was running for quite sometime before running to the two boys who are both from Judgement. The Judgement boys were either too scared to fight or got overpowered quickly. Judging by the lacerations on them, it evident some high-powered cutting weapon and possibly some thrusting weapon."
"Pfft, weaklings." Dr. Nobu scoffed, "They probally got scared. Three espers against one person? How hard could a fight like that be?"

The doctor walked down the hall, leaving the injured teens to their misery while he thought of how could the loose such an engagement. Turning towards his own office, a nurse ran by, telling him there was a patient waiting for him in room 3-B. The hot-headed doctor scuffed as he turned around and entered the room a few stride down. How the hell did I end up here? He thought to himself, he was once a respected member of the researching team and now, ended up in the godforsaken hospital for god knows why.

"Alright, what problem, issues, or whatever?" the doctor turns around and hears a low humming noise, the sounds of elecrcity being charged.

He turns around but is immediately shot with something, a taser of sorts. Crumpling to the ground, his eyes widen in fear as his breath freezes. A familiar mechanical grinding sound sound reaches his ears as he shivers through his paralysis, "W-what do y-you want with m-me?"
"I just wanted to say hi. For everyone." Jack picks up the shaking body of the poor doctor with his claw hand, "Besides, you have a price to pay, Nobusaki."

Through the door, a man in a black suit enters. It is obvious that this man listened into the little chat the two had. Warnings had already been given out to academies, so Lin Min Hai can guess that the boy in front of him was none other than Jack. Originally he is only supposed to be here to see off the injured students, but a detour will be required to ensure the safely of his supposed patients.

Fear did not show on Dr. Lin's face as he speaks as to rebuke the mass murderer. "Just how long are you going to continue at this, Ghoul. Your death notes are edgy, the victims you killed die the worst possible way, impaled by rocks or shredded. I'm surprised you were even able to hold back on killing our students. Tell me, why a sudden change of heart?" When his fellow doctor had his torso cut open, Sanguis simply looked at the man with a face that whispered "Sucks to be you."
Jack smiled as he cut open the torso of the doctor who was now screaming on the floor "I would say its art of the highest degree, but I'm not into that kind of art."

His claw hand transformed into a normal one as he plunged it into the open cavity of the doctor, still squealing in pain. pulling out a bit of his liver, "You see this? This the art I go for, the art of blood."

Jack shoved the bit of organ back into its cavity, causing the doctor to cough up a large amount of blood. He moved his hand around, taking pleasure in the man's pained expressions before stone appeared in the open wound, keeping it open. Jack smiled, "Now, what would you do with your friend here dying?"

Lin Min Hai flicks his wrist as the excess blood from the doctor was used as a line of sharpened blood defense pointed at Ghoul. He knew the doctor could be saved, so Dr. Lin snapped his fingers, stopping the severe blood loss from his colleague, slowing down the process of dying. The question was whether this doctor was worth saving or would it be possible with Jack loitering around.

"Shrapnels and all those torture, I never imagined I would meet someone as selfish as Dream World. As a matter of fact most espers are experimented on certain projects. No matter what your intentions are, it involves Absolute Zero does it? Why do I know all of these? It's because your powers are that of the 10th level 5, Underblast." He remains calm in the presence of the fiend and sighed, "It is because you are him." He reveals his deduction. For the past four days, Lin Min Hai had been studying the patterns of murder and activities of this person.

"It is said there is only one crime." Jack sighed as he saw the twitching eyes of Dr. Nobu, "Theft."

He paced around the room before leaning against the wall, "When you trick people, you steal their trust. When you rape someone, you steal their chastiy. When you kill, you steal their life. So my question is, what do you call it when someone steal your future?"

"Cut the crap." He doesn't mess around with such villain or is he even villain. Lin Min Hai ignores his question but half answered it. "Regardless of what it is, it is still stealing or theft in your terms. Now to the main point, what is it are you after and what does it have to do with Absolute Zero?" He asked as his line of defense became a sphere of blood for his colleague and the other became sharp pointed at Ghoul.

"That's for me to know, and you to not." Jack smiled, "What is it human treasure the most?"
With that, screaming could be heard from the rest of the hospital, "You play your cards to later my friends. Perahps this will give you a good lesson on what happens when you fuck up."

Jack suddenly burst to tiny pieces as a nurse was beheaded right outside of the door. Jack was never there, is was one of his golems. And now said golems were loose in the hospital, ripe for feeding. "Itadakimasu." the head of Jack laughed before it turned to dust.

Dr. Lin watched knowingly as the Jack in front of him crumbled into pieces. A body double without a beating heart or blood flowing through his veins would never be able to trick Sanguis. At this point, Dr. Lin moved to prevent as many deaths as possible. Knowing that the doctor in front of him wouldn't die just yet, Dr. Lin faced the golems instead, destroying them in mere moments with the help of acidic blood. He was able to clear the whole floor of any golems, but at that point Dr. Lin stopped. He knew that he alone wouldn't be fast enough to destroy the remaining golems and only then he realized the motive of Underblast as truth means yes, there's no denying it.

The real Jack was on the roof top, musing to himself as he heard all the death and chaos below. "Can't spell slaughter without spelling laughter~" he sang as he jumped down a story and entered through a window in a room. The room containing one Dr. Nobusaki.
"Hello again, I believe you remember me, or was I just another one of your 'child errors put to good use'?" Jack walked around the doctor who was now sweating a cold sweat as he slowly bled out from his chest.
"Y-y-you-"
"Yes, you. You the one to steal their future for no purpose. But then again, your own pathetic life is just the same in the end."

Before the doctor could speak anymore, Jack raised an arm and the pieces of his clone that were still in the corner swearled around it. As each piece attached to the docotr, encasing him in a terracotta tomb, Jack asked, "What is it humans find most precious?"

As he jumped back out the window, the doctor screamed as the final pieces of stone and clay attached to his face and into his mouth, stuffing his lungs and throat with the all natural killer. Within seconds, Jack had finished his piece of art, a wicked man trapped in his own creation.

Anti-Skill and Judgement

"Right! Kinoshita-senpai." He responded through thought. He's now outside of the school waiting for Anti-Skill to come when-

Kaori the warper warps along with bayuki-kun! "Can't let you have all the fun besides it's really getting boring in the Auditorium." I said reassuringly and this might be fun.

"What are you doing here, this is Judgement desu no work! I--" Before we could continue our argument, they're already here.

Though he did not have a stern look on his face, one would be able to tell that the pale-skinned man who strode towards a particular group outside of the school. He donned an Anti-Skill uniform befitting of a high-rank officer, and his posture most certainly did not falter.

Walking up to the group, the man stopped as he straightened himself. He bowed slightly as he said with a strong tone,

"Pardon me for making you wait. I am Yukihisa Fujioka; it is an honor to work with you."

Following up close behind she kept a even step her face cold and seemingly void of emotion. Wearing a customized army uniform she let her gaze sweep around looking at any disturbances and any vantage spots she could utilize. Stopping a few feet behind Yukihisa she quickly introduced herself. "Samidare Hana" she said before standing in a more relaxed pose.

Yikes! He thought, more like he felt like a masochist in front of them but do what must be done, the mission is to stop Jack. "Takatsu Nobuyuki and this is Yagami Kaori. You've heard the reports for the past four days, we need to catch that person." Yuki couldn't help himself but involve Kaori in this mess, alternatively speaking, her warping powers would help right along with her oblivious mind.

"Keep quiet and don't say anything, okay." He turned to Kaori and warned her.

"PSHSHH. Dumbass. So guys, in a nutshell and I hate to keep waiting and all. We catch him, I say we BAAAAM!! and then ZZZZZ!! and then PSHSHSHSHH!!! and then RRRRRAAARR!!! and then WOOOOHHHH!!! and then splat!" Okay, I was saying something stupid already. I was saying we crash into the party an stare and run and catch and scream to make this guy splat. "Wait.. what am I doing here again?" Thus I got some memory lag.

That person. Of course. Yukihisa would have considered the trip an unfortunate waste of time had it not been for the fact that the business he was attending in was quite serious. He had become quite the hot topic among the higher-ups, though drastic actions were not exactly taken due to the Anti-Skill's generally predictable behavior. Perhaps what he was doing truly was the only option available that would not jeopardize the Anti-Skill's name.

"Stopping him surely must be a high priority," Yukihisa said, his voice monotone yet powerful, "but the target we need to capture is certainly more than a handful. Is there a specific plan we should follow to catch the man?"

"I got a plan."
Yuki facepalmed. "What?" He asked.

"Attack. I don't care how I got here and all but whoever this guy is, I don't know who he is but we're gonna find him and SDFGHJDGFCGVHBJDFGNHJAKJADSHJDSHBSBASDFGHJKVJDJBJBBJBFJBSJBSBJSJDSJSDJNJNDSNDSVKJSVJKVSDNDSNJNJNDSVNVDNJVDSNVDSVSVSNJVDSNJVDSNDSVJNDSVNVDSVDSVJDVDSKJVDNJVDSNJDSVKVSDNKVDSKDSKVKDSNKVDSKNVDSNKVDSNVDNSVNKDKNVDKNVDSNVJDSJAASDFGHJASDFGHJKSDFGHM1234567892345678098763345678974567897RDTFHJKJGCFHJKLJHHJBH bam!" Doing all that with weird and childish expressions.

"Roger mission accepted infiltrate and take out target with minimal effort" she stated what information she grabbed from the childish girl before shrugging her cloak aside to reveal her sniper rifle. Taking off her should she quickly loaded it before switching the safety off. "Permission to go forward with mission sir" she asked as she started to adjust the scope of her rifle.

"I dunno but my gut tells me you're kinda cute and..." Yuki nosebleeds seeing her do that and he's focused on her boobs. "Nevermind.." He's nosebleeding.

Yukihisa raised a hand, motioning for Hana to remain prepared.

"Not yet." he said calmly, not seeming to mind his allies' strange quirks. "First things first, going in without some form of planning may give us a hefty disadvantage over him. We also do not know much about him yet, so I advise us to take a strategy that will ensure both our survival and the gathering of information.

"The problem is how we will do that."

The man turned to Takahattsu, his eyes staring into the other man's without signs of relaxed emotions, as he further pointed out,

"I advise us not to separate ourselves for the majority of the mission unless we have a failproof chance of catching him."

Nodding at the motion she continued what she was doing with adjusting her scope before she once more switched the safety on once more. "Understood mission scrapped" she said as she once more shouldered her large sniper rifle and adjusted the black cloak of hers to cover it. Contrary to what many would think she understood the situation and knew that the mission should be thought over more before putting into action. With a small curt nod to Yukihisa she went back to remaining her vigil in case anything was to happen.

Kotori - A Songbird who Wished she was Invisible

Very suddenly, extraordinarily abruptly, Kotori found her name called out precisely by those of Judgment. The school's infamous brand of enforcers that backed the rules set out by the Principal. With vexing rapidity, what determination she possessed to have her book returned simply ceased akin to the air leaving a balloon. Terrified would have been a proper adjective, perhaps even mortified as her skin paled to a tone that could even make a ghost impressed. Far more quickly than she could have ever hoped, the Assembly expired and the other students began to file out accordingly to find their dorms.

Kotori didn't.

She was trapped, frozen and paralyzed in fear as she stared hopelessly ahead at what lay before her. A member of Judgment, an upperclassman no less. Here, as the assembly room finally emptied out of the last few students, his gaze found her quite easily. It were a rather simple thought to draw, she was the shrew, and he the feline so easily toying with his prey.

There was no escaping from this dilemma. Running would only result in her being caught, and likely punished even further. Other students had received detention as a result of her actions and desperation, they would likely hate her for this! Her head sunk as her morale came crashing down in a blaze of misery around her as she slowly began to stand.

Fearfully trembling fingertips slid along the edge of the seat handle and took her bag to sling it over her shoulder; and she walked. Each step that she marched unwillingly forward seemed more burdensome than the last as if her feet were made of lead. Her heart and mind screamed of their unwillingness, but there was no choice. Her punishment would be a necessity, she had to accept it. Even if it meant expulsion as her actions had lead to the punishment of so many others.

Soon before long, she stood before the Judgment member. The canary before the gate of its cage.

"Y-Yes? Kurogane-senpai?" She softly inquired in the vast emptiness of the room. Worriedly, her tensed and voice carried oddly well across the distance. Noticing this, her head bowed even more deeply so that half her face was covered by the bangs of her hair. "H-how can I-I h-help y-you t-t-today?"

Nishihara Kei

"Two musketeers?" I reflexively muttered, looking around. Seiji and I were walking through the corridors when that girl approached us out of the blue. There was no one else around she could be talking to, but I myself couldn't grasp why exactly were we "Two musketeers". The girl also gave me the same chill that I had attributed to Ria. Through the PA system, announcements were being made, though I was not paying them as much attention as I probably should.

Deciding that indeed the two musketeers were us, and thinking that there was no harm in helping, I simply answered the girl. "We are heading there now. You can come with us." I briefly eyed Seiji, hoping he wouldn't mind another person on the way to the auditorium.

'Bang Constantine...' Sasaki thought, 'He's a westerner, so is his first name Bang? Or is Constantine?' As the auditorium was once more drowned in silence, Sasaki contemplated superfluous thoughts such as that. He finally settled on referring to the westerner before him as 'Bang-kun' because it was the easiest of the two names to pronounce. So far Bang seemed to be a pretty decent dude, if a bit awkward as evidenced by his sudden silences and body language. Though perhaps it could be because the young man was foreign and had yet to adequately integrate himself into Japanese society.

The taller of the duo pondered on the suggestion of the shorter for a moment. He opened his mouth to voice his opinion on such a topic, namely that it would indeed be a good idea to depart, when an announcement calling the students back into the auditorium sounded throughout the school. Why they did not announce that it was over - or why the other students left in the midst of it - was a mystery in and of itself. Sasaki shrugged and looked to his companion, saying, "That's certainly a convenient development."

The duo listened to what was up, namely sortings of classes and such. Apparently he and Bang would be in the same, though Sasaki's other friends were apparently younger than him and thus not eligible for the rank up. Sasaki's eyes widened as a wire connected to his brain and he was called up at front. Telepathy was an ability that used invisible, metaphorical 'wires' created by the user to link with the mind of their target. These wires could exchange thoughts via vibrations, but 'intentional communication' was the priority of the power. The telepathic wire was still connected to his brain, transmitting his thoughts to the telepathic Judgment dog as Sasaki made his way to the rest of the Judgment pack. 'Kinoshita-kun,' Sasaki thought through the wire as he opened his bookbag, 'Can you explain to me exactly why this is occurring? This seems like an overreaction for something that could be resolved rather easily had Namashiya-san just approached me following the end of the principal's announcements...' He continued to mentally converse with the telepath with an assortment of useless but useful-sounding questions. He was silent the whole time, which might have been suspicious had it not been known a telepath was in their midst.

His movements digging through the bag were done without a single glance or thought, for any true psychic static would betray the gamble he was putting into action. There were only three books in there, after all. Kotori's book, his notebook essential for his job, and a book of his own. 33% for success was not a favorable gamble by any extent, but whatever. A normal fighting espers wasn't a favorable fight either, but look where he ended up.

....

Okay don't look where he ended up, that was probably a very bad place for one to look. Nevertheless, it was the moment of truth, time to pull out both the stops and the book. 2/3 of the time, Sasaki would have failed. This was not one of those times. Though he was not an esper and though the fact was not widely known, Sasaki Kirima was a researcher in the fields of the Power Curriculum Program and experimental military design under a member of the Kihara family.

Therefore, it was not unnatural for someone like him to have a book published regarding the topic of powers. However, he was just a normal student, and a normal student possessed no powers to develop. 'Here's the book, Kinoshita-kun,' Sasaki thought, face impassive as he passed the book to the Judgment dogs, 'Will that be all? I'll be making my way to the detention room now.'

Turning his back on those losers, Sasaki made his way out of the area and towards the designated detention area, filling his thoughts with a very ear-worm-y song by a popular idol group as he did so as if to spite anyone still communing with him telepathically.

Was such a ruse something that could be considered 'Tactical. Fucking. Genius.'? It remained to be seen.

Tsumiki walked through the halls, basically ignoring everything going on around him. His thoughts were turned inward, about the White Chapel Ghoul, the students he had met, and other, more personal things. He was so caught up in his thoughts, he walked to the gates on autopilot, passing everybody performing their daily routines.

Kishiko Tachibana
hearing that the second assembly of day was over plus the early release she headed out of the auditorium. Still thinking about it she couldn't help but wonder who in the end will be her dorm mate. It was a minor topic honestly but it was of major importance to her as she brushed her hair back as she walked. Passing the people she was not paying a lot of attention as she walked just heading down the hallway before she turned and headed for a bit of target practice. With her destination in mind she headed out to hopefully locate the archery targets for her to practice on.

Justeaze Lizrech Jaeger
"Well that was a thing" she muttered to herself as she quietly slipped out of the auditorium. With a push she added a bit of wind at her feet increasing her speed ever so slightly. Things was not adding up first news of a "white chapel ghoul" than other things was happening as well. It seemed that people were right in academy city things escalate quickly or not at all. Shaking her head from those thoughts she headed out to the judgment office might as well see if there was anything that needed to be done or at least a patrol schedule if at all possible.

Aria Fabre
The assembly was thankfully short she noticed and people left the auditorium pretty quickly she noticed. Taking her violin case she got up and decided now was a good time to check on her violin varnish to see if it aged enough to add the final touches to it. With that thought in mind she decided to head out the varnish was buried just outside of school grounds where she couldn't get in trouble for it. Though she supposed a slight stop to pick up some papers from her desk would be in order as well she supposed.

Bursting Terror x Frozen Horror x Burning Earth

Date: April 4 20XX

Time: 1:30 PM
Location: Various

This is a jump in collab to those who want to join I won't post it yet.
Three hours have passed as class have been dismissed. Hybrid Academy is deserted with the exception of the detainees and few teachers. Judgement are prepared and crazy in every corner, patrolling outside the school, putting up a perimeter. Anti-Skill alongside with Judgement is also crazy prepared; Toshiki and his team are in a secret base as they've instructed Yuki and Tsumiki to team up. While all this are placed, the detention room comprises of the six detainess adding up to three more people, that is Sunye Kirima, Seiji Matsuda and Kei Nishikara, they were sanctioned for skipping the auditorium gathering. Sunye is dead spanning at Kotori, blaming her for her older brother's bringing in the detention. Not only that, the two had a catfight after Sunye found out that this girl, Kotori caused all the trouble for her brother. In addition, Yuuma is also in the detention room for being inconsiderate to set a good example for his peers because he didn't even bother stopping them. Kotori and Sunye have the 2nd degree sanction, of no fights unless allowed. Ria is sanctioned for obscene behavior.

Students in detention: Kotori, Sasaki, Akira, Bang, Kazeno, Yuuma, Kishiko, Sunye, Seiji, Kei and Ria.[/b]

Kotori
Maintaining her composure was swiftly becoming a more and more impossible task for the rank 4 Esper. First, everyone that she had come to know in the first day she was in the Academy resulted in practically every single one of them receiving detention. No less it was essentially the entirety of her fault that everyone was there. So angered was one girl, someone who she later discovered was Sasaki’s sister, that she tried to start a fight with Kotori to avenge her sibling.

Amazingly, Kotori didn’t fight back. She didn’t struggle, she simply took the hits she had earned through the reckless ignorance of her actions. With a defeated sense that seemed to simply hang about her as she sat and waited for this misery to end, she gently touched the deeply darkening bruise that lined her cheek. Wincing at the soreness of it, along with the other bruises that lined her arms and sides when she had simply tried to reduce the damage she had taken as much as possible, the little Songbird quietly ran her fingertips through her hair.

Justifiably angry claw marks of nails still furiously lined her forearms, and Kotori extracted a hairbrush to run it through the onyx locks. Trying to smooth it, and hopefully soothe the burning sensation where her hair had also been pulled. She did her best not to show it, but the desperate girl was on the verge of tears.

So much for making a good first impression like she had hoped. It seemed that no matter where she walked, no matter where she went, social misfortune cruelly stalked her.

While walking down the route towards HA, there was one thing that was plaguing Hibiki's mind. It's the very much increased amount of law enforcement in the form of Judgement and Anti-Skills that's just roaming about the ways. She's heard stories from both Edvard and Priscilla of the crap that happens in that place but this is the first time she's actually seen something out of the ordinary from the outside at least.

After a few minutes of waiting a bit further away than she usually would, she finally found one familiar face.

"Hi!... uhh, where's Ms. Grouchy?" She pipped as she reached Edvard.

"She's got her hands full watching over some... delinquents I suppose. She's gonna be out later rather than sooner, she said she's gonna meet us at the cafe after she's done with that crap"

"And the Anti-Skills and Judgement? Don't tell me it's also due to those said delinquents..."

"Oh no, they're here for more important reasons... See---" before he could finish, Hibiki cut him off

"No... no... not gonna hear it, whatever it is, I don't want to know about it... just yet. So I guess we'll go?"

In response Edvard just nods and with that a Teacher and a student proceeds to Mocha-Dreams Cafe...

Meanwhile, Priscilla find herself in the same room as a bunch of troublemakers and the only thing to keep her busy aside from watching the glares and stares between the lot is a pair of books, one about Esper abilities, specifically the more common ones and another book about Particle Physics, both of which she borrowed off the academy's library.

"AHH!!" Ria screamed at the top of her voice, "I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!" And she's about to strip.

"Ria, please don't!" Kazeno shouted as he saw the girl taking off her jacket, "Paragade, I choose you!"

With incredible speed, his faithful duck flew in from some unknown place and Kazeno threw it at the girl who was about to take off even more layers.
"Let the girl strip~' Chi Ni whipsered in Kazeno's mind, "Think about it. Would you rather have you books or an actual model?~"

Kazeno looked up at the spirt before summoning back his loyal duck and shoving into her mouth. As she gagged on the feathery blob, Kazneo resorted to using wind to try and keep Ria's cloth on. However, her grip and surprising determination seemed to over power even his own power.

"So foolish we repeat the tragedy" Kishiko muttered to herself as she sat in detention she was personally unsure on how she even earned detention. Having attended the second assembly than after she asked if they had archery targets to practice with next thing she knew she gained detention. Humming to herself as she sat straight wishing she had some tea at least she looked around seeing how others was doing though she noticed one had quite a few scratches on herself. "Never give up hope even till the end only the sea knows" She muttered once more aiming it more towards the the girl hoping she heard. As she looked around before slipping a thermos out. Opening it up she let the smell of tea waft through her nose before taking a small sip.

Seiji and Kei.....
--->You may start here, I can help you guys through Sunye

"What rotten luck..." Kei muttered to no one in particular, recalling how exactly the situation came to be. He and Seiji were suposed to have reached the auditorium in time for a conference of sorts, but, even though that girl tagged along, they seemed to have missed the conference entirely. And apparently, missing conferences was enough of a misbehavior to get Judgement after you and get sent to detention. So it was, that the three of them were sitting, each on their desk in a small room that seemed to have been specially made for containment of delinquents.

Seiji sighed, being just as irritated as he had been earlier. Surely missing a single conference didn't warrant him and the other two people he was with getting tossed around like ragdolls. He gingerly rubbed the giant bruise on his arm, a byproduct of some overzealous Judgement officer smashing him into the ground full force. Though the pain had somewhat subsided, the fact remained that it was still there and it still hurt to hell and back. Why the heck were there so many Judgement enforcers in the school in the first place, anyhow? It wasn't like it was a prison or something.

"Geez... I'm pretty sure you'd file this under assault and battery. There's no reason to beat someone up over missing a meeting..." he muttered, wincing as the pain returned.

Kei looked at Seiji, who seemed to be in pain. Kei had not noticed it earlier, but, judging from Seiji's actions, it would seem he was at least a bit hurt when they were sent into detention. The magician looked around wairily, wondering if the stupid thing he was about to try would get him into more trouble. He got up and moved towards Seiji. "Could you let me take a look at your arm?"

Seiji turned towards Kei, nodding as he showed the bruise towards the magician. Luckily, Kei wasn't hurt as badly as he was, but there was no reason for them to have been jumped on at all. Maybe there were some bandages or a compress or SOMETHING in the room he could use...

Upon being given permission, Kei examined Seiji's bruise with attention. It was a fairly minor injury, but it would probably hurt a bit for a while. "I'll try to do something." The magician attempted to concentrate. Something in that place made it very hard, but that kind of injury was the kind he could usually heal without even trying. "This might sting, Seji-san." Kei warned before whispering "Mend..." while running his index finger through Seiji's bruise. Nothing happened. Looking defeated, Kei sat down again. "Sorry..." It looks like his magic couldn't work through the room's countermeasures.

"Don't worry about it lad, it's just a bunch of burst capillaries. It's just gonna leave a mark for a day or two... And probably be sore for the same length of time"

Priscilla piped while peering over the book she's reading. While she has been tasked over watching these sorry lot, she doesn't really have any idea what actually transpired to have them in here.

"So is it me or have we gone into a state of martial law?"

Seiji tensed up as Kei tried to do... Whatever it was that he trying do. It didn't do much; Seiji reasoned that is probably had something to do with magic, which meant that it wouldn't work in the area. That probably meant that the same thing applied to his powers, which, to be fair, would be completely normal; after all, detention in a facility like this would have to have something like that to keep the ACTUAL delinquents in check.

"Well, no harm no foul." Seiji said, shrugging.

The lady in charge of the place was probably right, and Seiji did not seem to mind Kei's failure, but the magician still felt depressed. Not being able to help people in need... "Martial law... This is draconian." he said, resigning himself to his sad fate. "Is this because of these 'Ghoul' rumors?" Kei wondered outloud.

Part 3 of 4

If he were to be completely honest with himself, Sasaki was surprised that his ruse was, in fact, 'tactical fucking genius'. He'd have expected that the Judgment pack would have at least caught on to the suspicious stream of telepathic speech, but a plan going off without a hitch was not something to be unappreciated. Still, he hadn't gotten out of detention, hence his seat at the back corner of the room across from the window. The place was surprisingly lively for something that was supposed to be a detention, but that was likely the fault of the supervisor. Or perhaps everybody realized that this detention fiasco was nothing but a farce and therefore disregarded such a development. He didn't blame them; this was indeed a farce. Who gives a detention to a suspect without a single warning or attestation of truth (though to be fair, they were right in their assumption of his so-called guilt) anyway?

And therefore, Sasaki found himself in the back of the room, pencil out and writing up notes in his work notebook. Flurries of acronyms, diagrams, and technical terms filled the pages, essentially making the whole text utterly hieroglyphic to anyone in the room. He didn't feel very strongly about the whole situation; it was nothing to him but a minor inconvenience at most. He looked up from his scrawlings at mention of the White Chapel Ghoul rumor.

"...No, I don't believe that's it," Sasaki piped up to answer Kei, "The announcement your group missed mentioned nothing of the sort." Having reached a point where he couldn't continue his design notes without shaky arguments and hypotheses, he shut his book and placed it back within his bag. As he did so, Sasaki paused, eyes on the gruesome fairy tale book within.

"..."

The giant looked up from his bag and at Kotori's seat. Disheveled hair, wounds lining her exposed skin, face barely holding back anguish... All in all, the telekinetic looked like shit, and, all things considered, it was his fault that Kotori had been defeated by Sunye. Maybe once upon a time that fact would have made him proud, but now it just left a bittersweet sort of taste in his mouth. Sasaki sighed and stood up from his desk in the ass-end of the room before making his way to the troubled girl.

Sasaki pulled up a chair and sat across from the sad-looking songbird. He sat silently for a few moments, fingers steepled over his mouth, before he finally spoke to the girl. "Namash- ...Ara, Kotori-chan," Sasaki began, popping open his bag once more, "You were looking for this?" He unveiled the blue Grimm Fairytales book and placed it on the center of the desk, and flashed his trademark awkward-but-scarily-unnerving, forced-looking smile.

KotoriA Caged Songbird

This was all her fault. Every single literal moment of this imprisonment for not only herself, but for others was entirely her fault. Others were talking and conversing amongst themselves, and it seemed that she could finally retreat into her shroud of social invisibility. For the moment, it seemed like the most proper method for her existence. It had always been like this, as far as she could remember. Initially she would attempt to finally step into the social world, only to have something horrible happen and immediately she would be struck down.

Much akin to those who wished they could fly with wings of wax, only to come crashing down time and time again. Only with her, it was simply the thought that she might one day be able to talk to others, let alone openly in public without pathetically trembling in fear. Gripping her temples with her palms, she began to think that maybe it was better if she simply gave up and faded into obscurity, perhaps that would be less painful.

Someone murmured something to her about never giving up hope, and Kotori mildly smirked miserably at the thought. Never giving up hope meant believing that you might’ve had a chance in the first place. Never giving in meant that somewhere, somehow, there was a faint glimmer of a chance that beyond the valley of thorns there was a rose you could grasp. A dull thud marked her impact of her weary and exhausted head upon the desk in front of her, and she simply sat there. Wishing that she could rot away like the foul person she was beginning to believe herself to be.

After all, not only did she receive detention on her first day; but she also managed to forge similar punishment for many others. Surely they too would despise her just as much as Kirima’s sibling, but she was brazen enough to put it into both words and physical action. Beyond any doubt, unkind words would likely spread throughout the academy like a wildfire through the driest grass; further desolating any possible chance that she might be able to start fresh and anew.

She just wanted to be invisible again. That was better than being loathed and despised by everyone she had literally only just met.

Then the screeching of a chair’s legs against the table in front of her as it moved caused her to glance up briefly. For a mere moment, her eyes widened in surprise as it was none other than the giant boy who sat in front of her. It was eerily quiet at first, leaving her wondering if the scolding she deserved from him was going to come or not. She dared not move, let alone think, as she hoped he had just sat there to be more comfortable instead of talking to her. She prayed that instead of having to deal with social interaction, she could simply hide there with her face buried in her arms.

Yet despite her prayers, or perhaps even in spite of them, Sasaki spoke her name and settled something down upon the desk. A glance revealed it to be the troublesome tome that she had lost to cause all these calamitous social travesties to occur in the first place. But should she take it? No, that wouldn’t be fair. She couldn’t look him in the eye, she didn’t deserve to!

“Did you like reading it?”She inquired first, her timid voice barely being audible through the arms that covered her face as she still sat face down on the desk. There was another tensed silence, and Kotori’s worry grew even further. To her, it meant that he had begun reading it, and then he even enjoyed it. Probably? Maybe? Perhaps? She could only guess.

“I-If you liked it, Sasaki-san, p-please keep it. Consider i-it a request for forgiveness for what I’ve done.”

Taking another sip of her tea she turned her head to the girl it looks she was beating herself over something. With a small sigh she got up and slid into the spot next to her. Nudging her shoulder a bit she motioned to the thermos cap full of tea offering it to her. "Drink problems should never be pushed unto ones self" she said as she looked at her. "I may not know the full problems with the detentions or what exactly happened to you but at times when it seems that all is lost things usually aren't" she said. "Your smile and the smiles of a ‘tomorrow’ I can’t see are whiter and whiter, like a blizzard" She pointed out once more though the fact that the line was just a modified song lyric would remain hidden.

Sunye goes batshit crazy and jelly and attempted to chill Kotori's head as brain freeze which failed due to the refined capacity down, she grabbed Kotori by the collar and is on top of her, warning her to stay away from her brother.

On the other hand Ria is chilling from the bickering that's happening and tells them to cut some slack because it's annoying her. Unconsciously she shattered her own clothes by freezing it so deep that it breaks. She's now naked and approached Sasaki and asked him if she could borrow his clothes.

"..."

Towering student sighed a loud sigh. Was he not allowed to participate in a conversation that didn't degenerate into some sort of odd occurrence? Wordlessly, Sasaki stood up, frame concealing Ria from the prying eyes of perverted students. His own front turned away was turned away from the vast majority of the class as he undid his red tie and placed it into his pocket before getting on with the slow and agonizingly awkward process of stripping in front of his underclassmen.

"...Tsurara-chan. Here."

Sasaki slipped out of his white shirt and hung it off of Ria's shoulders. Now he was just standing at the front of the class, half-naked before his peers. He felt dirty, like some kind of weirdo from a shitty romance film about vampires and werewolves. It didn't help that Sasaki was built rather pleasingly as a result of his normality and affiliation with Skill-Out. At least Ria didn't need his pants and underwear.

Now onto the next order of business.

"...Sunye, get off of Namashiya-chan," Sasaki commanded, shirtlessness contrasting with his imperative tone, "She's had enough for today."

"You people need to calm down" Kishiko said as she saw the interaction between Sunye and Kotori. Sigh "so foolish we repeat the tragedy" she said once more if this keeps up it would end up her saying or something she thought to herself. Dang capacity down ruins everything she thought to herself she would at least be able to keep herself entertained a bit more if it wasn't for that. Crossing her right leg over her left she and propping up her chin with a her left hand she leaned forward "so what is the reason to this madness?" she asked letting herself be known to a wider audience.

Taking a look around she noticed that a. she managed to get their attention and finally b. the uniform was appealing on the level 5 it gave her a pretty cute look. Shaking that last thought from her head she leaned forward a bit more as if imposing a great secret upon everyone before looking around and narrowing her eyes looking at Sunye in particular. "I know its been said but there is no reason to pick on a girl that already has had her fair share of abuse already." She mentioned before going back to her normal position this would not make her friends but right now she did not care. All that mattered to her was aiding someone who needed it no matter what harm comes to her.

Sunye blushes, "A-Alright, onii-chan." She stays away from Kotori and goes back to her seat but before she would sit down, she strips just as Ria would do. "Onii-chan, Sunye is ready to take punishment." Blushing away.

Ria thanked Sasaki but notices Sunye, in her thoughts; "This girl...." Then she approaches her. "You... your part of the cold december project aren't you?" Nonchalantly revealing information like that, such information would make everyone curious. Sunye hides behind her brother, hiding from Ria. In Ria's expression it's a thought so.

"Girly Sensei, do you have any clothes?"

"Yes I do... and no I won't lend you any lest a change of clothes make themselves handy..."

At this point a knock on the door disrupts any further progress on this conversation. And since all the events inside the detention room so far has failed to pique the interest of Priscilla, the knock on the door was worth some attention.

"Who is it and what's up?"

She asked with her face and attention fully turned to the door.

"It's me!"

"What are you doing here Hibiki?"

Priscilla immediately asked the person on the other side of the door. Although she knew what Hibiki would answer anyway.

"I just... well this one was near and I figured I could probably help you watch over whoever you were watching over, and don't worry I asked permission from one of the numerous official looking people about this"

"Well you could help out with one thing... your clothes... give it to me"

"My what!?"

One can literally feel Hibiki's surprise through the door.

"You heard me..."

At this point Priscilla stood up and actually went outside to come face to face with a quickly reddening Hibiki.

"Just dephase yourself and leave the clothes so you don't have to go around naked..."

"But... but why?"

"You asked if you could help, a girl in there needs clothes because of... reasons"

"Well... if it helps then it can't be helped..."

A few seconds later and Priscilla entered the room again with a neatly folded full set of Kirigaoka Girls' Academy uniform complete with underwear in her hand which she places on the table...

"If you still need clothes these one's on me... well it's actually on my friend... well was on my friend... ah whatever..."

And with that she returns to perusing information in her books.

Bang remained silent as he thought to himself,

These people are weird.

Nevertheless, he decided that silence was the best way to get over detention. Actually, now that he thought about it, why was he at detention anyway?

It's probably because I talked with the tall milkman over there, he thought. Kind of ballsy, but I guess this is how things go.

And all of a sudden, Bang started to have an internal debate about communism for no real reason.

FINAL(Part 4 of 4 of Collaboration)

"..."

Sasaki just sat at the seat that he'd pulled up in front of Kotori's desk and buried his face in his unclothed arms. He made a stressed out noise that sounded akin to that of a dying animal. He could not even right now. His ability to even was nonexistent. There was nothing but the hollow feeling of 'this is fucking stupid'. He was silent, as if crying on the inside for a few moments. Though 'crying' was perhaps not the best word for what was going through his mind. More like 'punching and/or hitting things really fucking hard but in a different way than Bang and his boxing'.

Finally, Sasaki got out of his 'mopey' rut and leaned back into his chair, inhaling and exhaling deeply. He got out of the seat, pushed his glasses up, approached the mopey-looking megane, and spoke, "Namashiya-chan, I did enjoy the book but... I can't take it. It just wouldn't be right of me." Not only was getting it back the reason this detention farce had began and bestowed upon him a sufficiently powerful headache, it obviously meant quite a lot to her. That, and the whole detention business didn't really bother the delinquent at all.

Sasaki held out the troublesome blue novel in question, "Don't worry, Kotori-chan. I forgive you."

KotoriA Trapped Songbird

Once Sunye released the songbird’s collar from her malicious grasp, Kotori slumped back down into her seat. She didn’t dare move nor did she dare to even say a thing; rather, she simply folded her fingertips back together as another girl chastised Sunye for her actions in the little songbird’s defense. Soon all would blow over, this entire conflict at hand. At least she could pray for something similar of the sort, so that she could go back to being invisible.

Yet this seemed not to be a choice as the giant known as Sasaki settled his frustrated head upon her desk. A frustrated lament was that which could explain his state, it was easy to see and judging by the actions of his sister as peculiar as they were, such a lament was more than understandable.

What was she supposed to do?

Before she could even possibly think of a viable train of thought to at least make some sense of the madness that surrounded her, Sasaki spoke after he stood in front of her. Reaching into his coat hanging upon the chair, the little blue covered book that had started this whole disaster came into view. And he explained that he couldn’t take it and he was even so kind as to forgive her for her transgressions. Something struck within her, it struck deeply, mercilessly no less. In spite of everything that she had caused, this boy held enough kindness in his heart to forgive her mistakes without even the slightest hesitation.

“Kirima-san.” She began quietly, mildly as always. Slowly rising from own seat that she stood in front of him face to face, looking up to him as he still held out the book. Hesitantly at first, her slender pianist’s fingertips gently passed beneath his own as he held the book towards her. Warmly, the shy girl held his hand but for a brief moment, and with a simple, but significant motion she pushed the book back into his chest.

“If you started reading it and enjoyed it, keep it. I insist.” Kotori added softly, holding the book there against him even while his much larger hand easily dwarfed hers. “The Grimm Tales is one of my favorite books, and I’ve read it many times. I know some of the stories in it by heart.” Quipping an almost shameful but beautiful smile, the little Songbird simply ended with such before ending her dissent to his decision.

“Enjoy it, and keep it. Consider it my thanks for being one of the first to show me kindness in this odd place.”

-But if Stalin didn't give them a chance in the first place, then there was no reason for that meeting to ever work in the first place.

Bang contemplated as some random topics flew across his head. For some reason, he found the hot topic of communism to be so intriguing. And it wasn't like he wanted to care too much about such topics; he simply had the habit of keeping his thought process consistently generating things to think about. Such habits allowed him to remain highly alert in activities such as boxing.

Well, it is sort of their fault to literally drop the bomb in the first place, he continued to think as he straightened his back. I mean, Stalin sort of went like "Ey Ima go kick buttsies at the front line" and then FDR sort of went like "NUH UH, we're going to take the spotlight." Kind of weird how I'm thinking about all of this in the same place that was eventually bombed-

The boxer eventually woke up from his train of thoughts when the sound of a dying animal somehow reached his ears.

Dying animals? Bang nearly bolted up from his detention seat, only to realize that it was the milkman, Sasuke Kojima.

Ah ha- if it's him, then all is well.

And so, Bang sat. His eyes remained locked onto Sasaki* as the iron giant stood up and handed a book over to Kotori.

Bang realized that he was watching an accurate live-action representation of a trade session.

{Sasaki wants to trade with you! "Random Ass Book" - Would you like to trade?}

The boxer watched Kotori push back the book to Sasaki's chest. A bit strange, considering how the boy was shirtless. Nevertheless, he concluded that Kotori was asexual and was immune to feeling shy about such actions.

{You have declined the trade.}

...But the question is what Sasuke Kojima wanted to trade in the first place, Bang thought, his thought-process beginning to work its wonders again. Perhaps he wanted to trade that book with another book. Or maybe a porn mag. Or maybe they wanted to talk about Stalin.

And thus, Bang returned to his endless cycle of communism debates.

Bang's sleeveless shirt somehow ended up covering his body once more, despite the fact that it had been torn apart by the edgy and bloody man he sparred with at the gymnasium.

"But what about vodka and the Russian language itself? There are two dialects of Russian; drunk and sober. It seems that Stalin-"
"Chi Ni, mind doing me a favor?" Kazeno had long abandoned trying to prevent Ria from stripping.
"What?" Chi Ni playfully asked as the demon spirit sat down on his desk.
"If you going to read someone's mind. At least have them be sane."

Kazeno plunked his head as Chi Ni searched for someone else to go mind read. The boy wasn't enjoying his stay in detention, part of it was plain borning, the other part was just plain weird. There was a stripper, a man debating about communism and many others that he could no longer afford to give a shit about due to the failing economy.

"Oh, hey, I think the song bird is going to be a love bird." Chi Ni said as she scanned around the room like a radar.
"Can I tell you something?" Kazeno slowly stood up as the demon spirt girl put on a puzzling face.

Kazeno inhaled deeply and channeled his inner mantra that he didn't knew he had and shouted, "PARAGADE, I CHOOSE YOU!"

His faithful duck zoomed through the window with velocity impooisble for nay normal duck and smack Chi Ni in the head. Kazneo sighed as he sat down, ignoring the duck currently stuck in Chi Ni's mouth. Kazeno took out a notebook to doodle on as Chi Ni freed her mouth from the wrath of Paragade the duck, "Fuck you writer, fuck you. It isn't funny."
"Chi Ni." Kazeno kicked her in the shin, "Shut up."

Rocks and Ice

While everything is nice, Ria conversed well with Otome-sensei whose name she doesn't know very well so she just calls her Otome-sensei. Right now she can feel and sense the heat energy emitting from her classmates whether AIM or not, as a cryomaster she feels it.

Suddenly she feels a strong heat that's about to wreak havor, everything was happening in slow motion; in Ria's point of view it represents danger, spacing out from everyone. "Everybody get out now!" Fast calculations processed; Ria stomps her foot to the ground creating ice hands that holds everyone together.

The wall bursted open by a massive stone fist-like thing, bits an pieces flew everywhere, showering the room with dust and brick. Jack as his crazed grin stood on the top, his arms sprung wide open as if he was going to hug someone, "SHIA SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKERS!"

With a flick of his hand, he pulled the floor out from everyone an laughed, "Try to find me, you cheap hooker!"

Jack suddenly disappeared into the ground and left as swiftly as he came, leaving madness and destruction in his wake as he created holes and deep trenches all over the roads, up turning cars, taking down small building and sending people into his trenches.

Absolute Zero (Feisty is taking over for Ria, temporarily. =_=)

Once this bizarre new adversary fled the scene, Ria sprung virulently into action. Furious that he had decided to flee instead of directly fighting, she sprinted from the now disastrous room and outside of the range of the device that once hindered her abilities. Gritting her teeth as a hand was cast to her side, a blossom of frigid ice expanded rapidly from her fingertips and with the channeling of her frosty presence, the air itself dropped by nearly twenty degrees.

She did not shiver, nor did she shudder as a result of this bitter freeze. Instead, she grinned maliciously as the Ice swept forward from beneath her feet. It took but only a moment, but a literal road of ice ruptured forth as she arced across the heavens after Jack at an increasingly rapid speed. Easily she traversed over the desolation he had created, the bridge of frost bouncing from one building to the next over the pits and crevasses that he had carved into the city.

This man, he was swift, but she was just as quick if not even more so as the distance closed rapidly. Suddenly as she caught up with him, the road of ice she molded so quickly dipped and curved along the road to immediately cut the man off as painfully sharp spires of ice appeared in front of him.

Smoothly, the girl leapt from her road, and daintily she landed in behind the man. A crass, arrogant smile played across her lips as the very air immediately about them continued to drop further and further in temperature.

“Well well well, what have we here?” Ria inquired mockingly, her fingertips extending outwards as she lightly rotated her neck to stretch it. She didn’t wait for a response, this man was annoying enough and had challenged her on her own territory. There was nothing quite like a mother hen defending her own coop.

Razor sharp spires of ice, hundreds of them materialized instantaneously from thin air surrounded the man as Ria extended her opened hand smoothly out towards him. It was both beautiful and terrifying to see from the outside as her gaze narrowed.

“See you in hell.” And with the closing of her hand into an furious fist, the nearly countless spires closed in upon him faster than one could blink an eye. From beneath him, dozens more sprouted from the very earth, seeking to impale him as destruction rained in from above.

Akuma

Akuma had been reading a book for the entirety of the detention, Dr.Jekyl and Mr.Hyde to be presice. The irony of him reading such a work was not lost on him and actually made it one of his favorite books to read. But then a giant fist of stone broke down the wall, the floor underneath him disappeared, and chaos abounded everywhere. But Akuma only knew one thing for certain: The Ghoul had appeared, and he wasn't dead yet. Let's fix that, shall we? Akuma thought with a psychotic look in his eye as he utilized what little of his blood that he could to from a ball that he he used to bash his way out of the ice sphere, taking in total about 3 hits before he opened a hole big enough for him to get out.

Quickly rising up from the ruins of the classroom, he used his blood tendrils to sling himself from building to building like a macabre Spiderman, his eyes scanning them until he found what he wanted. It was a small square outlined in a green light only Vigilants could see, a spell crafted by one of their magician members. He quickly swung himself inside of it, the opening slamming shut behind him as he did so.

Inside, he would find a few steel canisters etched with preservation runes and a box. Akuma quickly stripped out of his uniform and opened the boc to find his Red Devil outfit, neatly folded with the mask sitting right on top of it. These hidden supply caches had been Akane's idea, a place to store an extra blood as well as extra Vigilant uniforms for each of the members. The thought of his fallen subordinate fueled the vengeful rage he held within. A vengeance he hoped would soon be sated.

He quickly put on the uniform, it was black, skintight top with an open area around the lower back, some metal plates sewn into the front for protection with only slight reduction in flexibility, and the Red Vigilant's insignia emblazoned over the heart, a stylized rendering of an Oni mask done in dark red, only one eye being visible. The pants were looser and easy to move around in, and his mask was the last thing to be put on. The mask it's self had a voice modulator, making Akuma's voice sound deeper and distorted. The part that was suppose to be cover8ng his eye was actually made of a special one way glass, giving the illussion that he couldn't see from it. A mistake that he was glad to let his enemies commit.

Finally, he opened up a container of blood, the runes keeping it fresh, and drew it out, forming two tendrils from it that attached thmselves to his lower back, repeating the process again for his other side. This gave him four tendrils of blood to use before he had to use his own. Ready for action, he exited the secret outpost and entered the city again as the Red Devil, the fading light of the afternoon sun as it descended into twilight, gave him a fitting sky dyed red as blood.

He found and followed Ria's ice trail to where she and the ghoul were fighting. He slung himself high into the air, forming aone tendril into a ball before launching it at the ground in front of the White Chapel Ghoul. It would burst into a red cloud of highly acid mist, which rapidly ate away at anything(or one) that got caught in the 10 meter diameter of the cloud. He would then land on the side of a building, wayching from up high to see what would happen and focusing the majority of the cloud on the Ghoul. It would seem to follow him, as Akuma followed the sound of his heart to guide it. Ria could be got in the cloud as well, but she wouldn't suffer any serious damage if she left quick enough. Her clothes would be in tatters, but given her usual lack of dress, he hardly thought it mattered.

Tsumiki

It came as no surprise to him that Ria was at the end of the trail of destruction he had followed. What had surprised him was the cloud of what seemed to be acid that sprouted around her, thrown by someone up high. It was a simple matter to realign the electrons in the cloud, which had a very similar electrical response to blood, and keep the cloud off of Ria and himself. He calmly walked through the mist, seeming to part it as he came near in a very biblical looking way, and found Ria. "Need any help?" He asked, flicking a few sparks out of his hair. "I suppose for someone like this, I could drop my cover." Little lightning bolts played across his clothing, raising his hair up into spikes. "It's not like I could get near enough to touch him anyway."

Jack laughed heartly as the ice trails flew towards him, a swipe of his hand and much larger stone spikes flew towards them, crushing them on the spot. He walked forward the half-naked girl and asked, "Why? Why do you have Yui's power?"

As a red mist poweder dropped, and Jack looked up, two new figures appeared, the figures of Akuma nd Tsumiki.
"Do you know how rude it is to interrupt someone in the middle of a damn heartfelt conversation?" Jack dashed out of the mist as fast as he could, "VERY!"

Jack caused a wet, sticky substance to rise from the ground and hurl themselves at incredible speeds. Hundreds of brown blobs whisked through the air, trying to plaster themselves to the tights and arms of the two boys that would harden instantly should they make contact.
"Clay is great at keeping thing together you know." Jack turned around, "Especially annoying fuckers like you. I'd eat both of you later. Hopefully you taste good~"

He had a mission to do and wasn't going to let anything ruin it. Jack once again disappeared into the ground, leaving a trail of destruction behind that Ria followed until he stopped at a major road way. Pedestrians and bystanders alike watched as the two level 5's prepared to fight it out, unknown of what will happen to them.

Jack smiled as Ria walked close to him, he ducked down on to one knee and swiftly pulled up. Huge stone walls encircled the surrounding block, trapping at least 200 innocent civilians inside. Gas pipes, electric lines and water mains were now visible in the arena Jack created.
"Rules are simple," Jack started as everyone ran to the edges, banging on the thick, towering stone walled that caged them, "Each time you hit me, I kill of some of these fine folk. But seeing as that isn't to likely, I'll just kill a few for fun every so often. Like this."

Jack's face becoming very menacing as he attached three people to the wall of building and pulled stone drills out from behind them, spraying blood and their agonized screams everywhere. When the drills finally became wide enough to cut their targets in half, Jack attached a girl to a gas line by the same method he'd previously used on the other three; by encasing their hands and feet with clay to a surface.
"Oopies~" he innocently giggled as he threw a rock at the gas line, setting it off and burning the girl's horrific screams of death with it.

"Now," Jack turned to Ria, his Terracotta Armor finishing up its process of covering him in impenetrable stone, "Shall we play a game?"

When Kotori and her tiny hands thrust the book back towards the tall young man, two thoughts occurred to him:

1) He was still shirtless.

and

2) He should probably fix that.

And so, setting the book on to the table, Sasaki Kirima slipped the black button-up school uniform jacket off of the back of the chair and clothed himself with it, preserving his nude torso from further examination by his peers. "...I'll be sure to take good care of it, then. Thank you, Kotori-chan," Sasaki nodded, slipping the book back into his newly-donned jacket, "And... If you ever want it back or borrow it or something, just come and find me."

"After all, someone like me's not that hard to miss."

Although considering the inability of anyone in the room to find him during the search that got them all into this mess, that might have stung just a little bit.

Although such a scene may have been cause for a certain type of reader to comment fervently on with other readers of similar type, the fluffiness of the newly forged relationship between the songbird and the giant was cut short in a scant few seconds as a result of the actions of a certain chaotic duo of Level 5s. A frosty orb and a toppled tier later, and the class found themselves falling into the floor below. Of course, a 10-15 foot fall wasn't going to break a Level 5's ball of ice. Therefore, it came as no surprise that the entirety of the detention class was currently still stuck in the cold, spherical construct while the the two exceptionally powerful Level 5 espers were off undoubtedly causing large quantities of both collateral and property damage as they went on with their merry fray.

But although it was reasonably safe as compared to what was happening elsewhere, wasting time being crowded like sardines in a ball of ice was not a preferrable way to be spending the rest of the afternoon. Really, Sasaki would much rather be out there fighting... The student shook his head. First priority was getting everyone out of here; he was sure they didn't want to waste time exchanging icebreakers while waiting for a literal icebreaker. The thought of throwing one of the desks encased with them was tempting, but he'd rather remain more low-key and, if he was being honest with himself, he wasn't sure if the desk would go through or if it would bounce back and give somebody brain damage. So he did the obvious action.

Without backing up, Sasaki slammed his shoulder into the frigid globule, sending dozens upon dozens of ice slivers flying outward.

"Haha... The ice must've been weaker than we thought, huh?" Sasaki commented before stepping into the shard-laden floor of the classroom below the detention room. He gave his best sheepish grin that looked more like he was trying to bite a metal pole in half. 'Bullshit, that thing was hard', he thought, hand on his shoulder, 'But not hard enough to stop me, though.' The impact hadn't hurt the massive student at all, leaving nothing more than a numb feeling in his shoulder that lasted no more than a few seconds and a big hole where he had made his exit.

Kotori & Ria - A Song Amongst the Ice

Nodding softly as Sasaki accepted the book, Kotori held her composure for one as she realized that she too had her hand against his well, bare chest. Even though a book was the barrier between her touch and his. This realization caused her hand to snap back to her side as he turned to place the book upon the desk and take hold of his coat. Blinking as he turned to mention that he was supposedly an easy person to find, the shy girl awkwardly scratched the back of her neck at the very thought of it.

Good humoredly, she'd respond. "For a giant, you hide very well then. I-I had t-two other people looking for you and we couldn't find you." Bowing her head in defeat at the very thought that somehow, Sasaki had unintentionally eluded them beyond all belief; it seemed quite remarkable that one of his size had accidentally avoided them, let alone if he had even tried to on purpose.

Awkwardly, her toe turned upon the floor as she nervously looked up to the boy. "So...er, would you like t-"

A sudden interruption came in the form of an attacker that shattered the very walls of the detention retention space. Barely in the nick of time, the odd half naked girl had covered the motley little crew of detainees in a sphere of ice. Chaos echoed outside as first the boy she had met earlier sprung from a smaller hole in the frost and bolted off. Soon afterward thankfully, Sasaki found the gumption to shatter the frigid barrier as she shuddered and cowered within it.

She felt ashamed. She, a telekinetic with at least some kind mental acuteness had failed to act. While a boy with seemingly no power at all found the determination to act long before she could even think. Climbing uneasily from the jagged hole that the giant had made, Kotori landed daintily upon her feet before looking skyward towards the now bedraggled ceiling. She had to do something, she needed to act. At least two monsters were running amok and she needed to do something of actual worth. No more was she allowed to cower, no longer was she allowed to hide and hope for invisibility. Having never done it before, she seized the moment by the reins and took it.

Rippling outward from her, a wave of telekinesis washed over them all from her to encompass those were trapped in the pit below. Smoothly, they were all lifted into the air with her while her hair itself seemed to lose the force of gravity that once held it imprisoned. As gently as one who held significant control over their ability, Kotori alighted the small group so that they would land easily feet first upon unbroken ground as she surveyed the damage that had been dealt.

Biting her lip, the shy girl looked on with horror at the path of destruction that had been wrought. The savage wreckage of earth, the long bridge of frost that arced towards the distant metropolis. She could only offer a glance to Sasaki as she swallowed a pill of courage.

"I...I'm going to go help, Kirima-san." She mumbled nervously under her breadth, keeping the formality and using his last name out of respect; even in the dire stress of the moment. Yet there was a spark of something more peculiar in her poise that hadn't been seen before. Urgency, purpose, a reason to act. Even still, she would nervously look up to him. "C-can you come with me? I'll need help."

Much to her elation and even though he was short of words, a solemn nod from Sasaki made a slightly more confident smile cross her lips. Nodding to him, she took a step closer and offered him her hand. "It'll make this easier...I-I know you don't like my power, but I won't hurt you. I promise." Taking a step closer, she gently wrapped her much smaller fingertips around the boy's hand and hesitantly tightened her minuscule grip as her eyes closed for a brief moment of concentration. In a brief force of her will, both she and Sasaki were lofted off their feet and into the air as with a surge of her telekinetic prowess the two began to fly.

Rocketing through the air as she retained her focus, the sight of the imposing coliseum walls caused Kotori to come to a sudden stop. Sharply changing her direction and gently landing the two atop a taller building to look down upon the murderous scene, the Telekinetic looked pathetically to Sasaki. "S-Sorry about the rough ride."

Yet the horrified screams of agony and death from below sharply diverted her attention from Sasaki and down to the horrific events below. People, ordinary plain people were trapped within the madness below. So many that she couldn't even count from the fair distance. If she didn't do something, more were going to die as a result of the crossfire between two monstrosities. As powerful as Ria was, this madman seemed just as equally insane, as his machinations eviscerated some and incinerated innocent souls. It mattered not who his victims were, it only mattered that there were victims, and that blood would run red across the streets.

At all costs, she needed to get those people out of there.

Falling to her knees, Kotori's focus gathered itself into singular point as ascended into a meditative state. Closing her eyes and focusing, the worried state of her hastened breath slowed, her heart once fluttering with tension grew unto a state of calm. Sasaki would be able to feel it, but those in the distance could not as a telekinetic wave washed over the coliseum. Differentiating between organic and non-organic tissue. Within her mind's eye, she could isolate that which was living and that which was not; for those who lived, breathed, and felt a heartbeat held a certain energy about them. One that her power could viably feel.

The number of people was absolutely monstrous. Nearly two hundred of them were trapped spectators in this maniac's game.

"This...this i-is going to hurt." She whispered, thanking the Gods that she wasn't in visible range of the monster that Ria had squared off with. Sasaki still stood nearby, and nervously she reached out and held his hand. Once her grip tightened, a rippling wave of Telekinesis exploded forcefully from her central form and washed over the entirety of the coliseum. The plain everyday people who had been trapped suddenly found themselves whisked skyward in the blink of an eye, and Kotori grit her teeth as her fingertips tightened painfully about Sasaki's hand.

He had helped her find the courage to act. The courage to do what needed to be done.

Yet it was an absolutely massive mount of weight to bear, and a softened cry of pain shuddered from deep within her.

A thin trail of blood laced down from one side of her nose as she struggled to maintain her focus despite the monstrous expense of her energy; and the bystanders were moved swiftly in varying directions to insure that they wouldn't be easily intercepted by the psychotic monster that was still beneath them all. Once all had landed and were safe quite the fair distance from the makeshift arena filled with death, Kotori managed to smile with wondrous serenity.

"T-They're all s-s-s-safe. Thank y-you for y-y-your help Kirima-s-san." She weakly stated as she leaned back while she sat on her knees, completely unable to move because her exhaustion.

Down below, Ria's scowl that had grown with the display of Jack's maddening cruelty sharply changed. She had felt it, the telekinetic wave that washed across the masses; and the scowl that she bore grew into an insidious grin as in the blink of an eye, the entire sudden mass of bystanders literally were swept away as if by a gust of wind. The very moment that they all escaped, Ria's hand surged skyward as she paid no heed whatsoever to the other two that had joined to try and help her. In a dazzling display of her prowess, a literal sheet of ice covered the opened top of the coliseum.

It grew to the thickness of nearly a glacier as the frost crept down the walls of the coliseum. In a matter of moments, the very surroundings of the two monstrous Espers was completely encased in ice, frost and snow. Dozens of feet thick, ice surrounded the walls themselves as Ria's malicious grin seemed just as devilish as Jack's was insane.

"Oh dear. Look what's happened. Now it's just you and me you stinking filth. Don't pay attention to those other two useless rats." The Icy Esper began with, not even bothering to make eye contact with the two who had tried to interfere. Not caring if Jack's abilities had hindered them or not. "If it's a game you want, I'm tired of playing by your rules. We're playing by mine."

"Call it...home team advantage. You thought you had trapped me? You're wrong. You're trapped in here with me."

Within the blink of an eye, spires of ice splintered and crackled along the ground as they reached to try and snake their viciously frigid veins about his legs and ankles. Reaching outwards towards Jack, Ria's frigid presence only grew even more menacing while suddenly within even his mouth, Jack would suddenly feel a drop in temperature. As he spoke, as he taunted the girl, she took advantage of the moisture in his mouth as a sudden star of razor sharp icewould rupture outward from within his jowls, seeking to literally break apart his skull from within. All the while, spires of ice continued to form in the air, as her hand closed once again and they formed instead a sphere of thick and hardy ice to surround the man.

The air continued to drop to even more grave temperatures so swiftly, so abruptly, that it threatened to slow his biological functions as a few split seconds later, the very air about him would implode from the rapid changes. With him at the epicenter if he lacked the wisdom to avoid the oncoming devastation.

Tsumiki

Tsumiki easilly avaided the flying clay by building what looked like an igloo of scattered metal. Cans, stray sheeting, metal garbage and even an Academy City police bot turned into a shield, encasing itself in the earthy prison and leaving a hole he could escape through.

"I guess it's time to stop being a low level. Damn, I was enjoying not being judged like a freak." Tsumiki stood still for a moment, extending his electric field out from his body. After keeping it contained for so long, he felt like a man who had willingly blindfolded himself for months. He reached out to any security bots he could find, giving them the code for a red alert by tapping directly into their programs. Once they were on their way to where the city's surveillance told him Rhia and Jack had run off to, he sent another message through antiskill's network. "Ghoul spotted, sector 6 subsector J. In pursuit. -NH"

Finally, with all the formalities out of the way, he took off after Ria. Knowing the streets would be a mess, he ran for the nearest building, aligning his personal magnetic field for the metal in the wall and climbing to the rooftops.

"What an ungrateful brat," he muttered to himself, hearing Ria's rat comment through a surveillance speaker.
