Either of them pursuing the other kind of doesn't make sense, to be fair. In the last fight, just before you left, Kanitah was going to die from a combination of blood loss and a heart attack. Whether or not Fury killed him in the next two posts. Him surviving that battle was entirely chance, and so him trying to hunt down the guy who nearly put an end to him would be suicidal.

Kanitah does borderline suicidal things, but only because he knows he can survive most of them. Him trying to catch up to and beat down Fury just to get revenge is full suicidal.

Plus, the method that he would have actually looked into for tracking down Fury would simply be to scan planets for all energy users and mark them off one by one. That's time consuming, exhausting, and still suicidal.

Bita, his daughter, is doing that. Except she's not just marking them off of her list of people, she's eliminating them one by one until she finds the right one.

Or you could have had Kanitah simply trying to find Fury before his daughter does and kill him, knowing Fury would tear her in half. Just a thought.

Same end result though, if he just deals with Fury she has no reason to seek revenge, where-as finding his daughter isn't going to necessarily change anything.

Hindsight is 20/20, and Kanitah's choice isn't the best one, but it's the one he made.

I personally know which is the better option, and yeah, it would make way more sense for him to hunt Fury down and destroy him with all of the Pundambayan Mechanical Might. Equipping himself with power armor, energy weapons and melee weapons. Arming himself with an interstellar craft and heading out into space to make sure that Fury is eliminated so that his daughter isn't put in harm's way.

But he didn't chose that option.

Bita chose to fully equip herself and head out into the Wild Black Yonder that is Space to hunt down and destroy the man who nearly killed her father, Kanitah simply chased after her in a ship to try and convince her to come back home.

He didn't arm himself because he didn't think he was going to have to fight anyone, the only thing that he brought along with him was the Engine. Just in case he had to force her to come back.

Kanitah wasn't thinking as a man with a vengeance, he was thinking as a father concerned for his daughter.

Well, Fury is with the Angar-Ryllans at the moment, who are an insane space empire, so going in that heavy probably wouldn't have gone down well.

Rilla, please make it so that Rilla is the leader of the Angar-Ryllans, it's so obvious they're just Angry Rillas.

The Rilla character is technically dead and powerless. Grandson jacked him of his power, and his favorite brother 'shot the strings', so to speak.

To be entirely fair, I don't actually know the full military might of the Angar Ryllans. I do know of their General, Khazna, and Fury. Plus the rather meek supersoldiers who were fairly easily dispatched by an armed LeeRoy.

It's always funny to think about how the smallest portion of my characters are Arena viable. Excluding the ascendant beings, non-powered characters, and one incredibly well made Iron Golem, only 50 or so of my characters are Arena compatable.

Example, 11 of my characters can't lift more than 20 lbs. Because they're mice and shit. They're an experimental group of characters for a story that's inspired by Redwall and early Disney flicks. "Under the Bush" is the title.

The big hero being a Deer Mouse who, near the end of his story, slays a viper and wears his head as a helmet. Using his fangs as swords.

Kinda feel bad that they can never be used in this kind of setting.

Yeah, putting those kind of characters in here would result in more characters in that same vein being created, or them being ignored entirely.

And a normal sized mouse that stands on its hind legs really couldn't stand up to even a normal human. So it's just kind of unfair.

Still not sure how I feel about this point system. For story building purposes, I think I'd prefer a point system in by which you earned points through matches for a faction. The more points one faction has the stronger/more of the multiverse it owns kind of thing. We were always looking for ways to make factions more viable.

Might be an interesting add on to the individual point system we have now. Only those apart of a team/faction would also earn viceroy points to whatever group they are affiliated with. Would also create a basic reason why characters would be fighting each other. Trying to gain or hold territory.

Just a rough idea anyway.
