[OOC] Arena Chat Thread

Not sure I understand this warring concept though, Seed threw out a challenge to the Arena and instead an outside clan took up the gauntlet? So essentially we're all sitting around with our popcorn watching some other people take care of the invaders for us.

You know, that suits us perfectly, it's how the Clockwork Man would have dealt with it, and he's the closest I have to a 'main.'

Alright,so the fun is being sucked out of this whole war thing for me now. I'm just gonna go back to where Xenom vs Arena. So all you guys eating popcorn right now better pick up a sword! LeeRoy will be the first of you all to fall!

Which is a roundabout way of saying he's forfeiting a war before it started, and gladly wasting others time, because reasons. Well. At least the idea was fun.

To be fair, I don't remember him entering the Arena and professing any great interest in fighting your clan from outside the Arena, Gun. It would also defeat the point of the whole 'invasion' so I can fully understand why it would suck the fun out of the concept.

You can decide the reasons of course, but don't take it personally. I came here with the intention of war and it was going great and fun and then you showed up and suddenly everything is an argument, suddenly everything is sarcastic and attitude and that's just not fun for me.

This is about fun.

As for wasting others time. "Backing out before something started, but you've wasted time."

But again, it's nothing personal. I just don't have the energy to be wasting on OOC nonsense. I genuinly don't care. I'm here for IC fun and want to go back to the way it was before everything became clustered.

Salt? Uh, sure, I guess. After planning and preparing just to have a dude go 'nevermind' for no real reason does make me salty. But the thing is, I never expected nor asked him not to do his invasion. This while time I assumed he was going through with his whole 'me V arena' thing and I and Desperado were simply considered the 'first wave'.

In other words, that means he sucked the fun out of it for himself. Nothing stopped him from doing what he wanted, even with our little war going on.

And what Melon said. I've technically been a member here for 4-3 years. I've been absent the past 2 years, but I'm here to spice things up for the Arena Lads. I figured you were originally going to like, team up with them or something which would be cool. But otherwise my intention is to war with the Arena. Not a specific group, unless the Arena itself created a group specifically for this war.

...and the other reasons. But that saltyness is just another example as to why the concept of fighting with you is absolutely no fun for me. So I'm just going to return to my original idea of playing with these guys. Sorry bruv.

And uh... What exactly did I make an argument? All i asked was if it were possible to squeeze i and leeroy in at once. to which i was met with a bunch of exclamations about how 'old' you are and how long youve been doing this and yada yada. Sorry I couldn't hide my textual eye rolls. But that's cool. I dont and never have pretended to be anything but a reactive and abrasive person.

^.^ So anyways, whoever it was that challenged Ryouko last night he should have a character sheet at least ready to be displayed tonight. He's inexperienced with forums and has done primarily IRC based RP fighting, so I'm just helping him get the structure down and then he should be ready. As for my other student, he's been awol the past couple of days. No clue where he is, so it might just be Ryouko and myself.
