Welcome to Order from Chaos

This is a mystery fantasy RP based around London in present time. This RP will involve anything you as a player can think of. You want to make a Race or magic? Sure go ahead, I'll give it a once over and most likely you'll be able to use it. In this RP I want people to be comfortable playing what they wish. Within reason of course.

Race

Not a race here that you want. Than simply tell me either through the OOC or through PM.

Magic

Types of magicians

Magic is split into two forms Elementalists and Adepts they are explained below.

Elementalists are magicians who restrict themselves to only being able to control four elements. Water, Fire, Earth and Air. Earth is the defensive way and is the last result in the elementalists bag of tricks. Such things as large earth walls, or turning their body into rock. Fire is the offensive magic allowing the user to conjure fireballs in their hands or create streams of flames from their hands. Air is utility magic having both offensive in the form of gusts of wind to knock foes down or defensive in the form of using it to jump and land great distances. The greatest elementalist was said to have been able to even fly. Water is the final tool in the elementalists arsenal and is the least useful you can turn water into moisture in the air to dry your clothes or reduce its temperature to freeze puddles of water. Stronger Elementalists have turned the weak version of water into their strongest by manipulating the weather or creating tsunamis. Do not think of Elementalists as elemental benders from the avatar series.

Adepts are magicians who have a plethora of magical abilities at their disposal and can do simple things such as fire laser beams from their eyes to being immune to fire or even super strength. Below are a list of possible paths that adepts can take. However do not be restricted with these paths. Feel free to make up your own abilities however the one's below are set in stone so you cannot steal powers from them.

It irritates me when I make a CS skeleton and people don't follow it. There's a reason there's one.

@mattmanganon No sorry. You have a Plethora of abilities. I can understand making pacts with demons but Traditional magic is extremely vague. I don't want people pulling stuff out of their hats when faced with problems. Also Sigilist magic is essentially a permanent thing. So your scrolls don't need to be reapplied unless the markings are damaged. And as for age control thats a no no. Sigilist can use facades to make themselves appear younger and as a rule most mages live for thousands of years but age catches up to almost everyone, eventually. Looking young is fine even changing your appearance to a degree (A sigilist only has their body to work with when it comes to facades so they can change the look of their face but not really their entire body.). Not Trying to give you the third degree but you have way too much in your characters CS for me to be comfortable to accept it. Tone it down and i'll give it another look.

@AdamantiumWolf Earth magic being basic Geokinesis i assume? If so then accepted.

@Xhala You have a clairvoyants ability in your list of abilities. May i suggest just having her as an elementalist to better min max her power set. Water manipulation can be useful when making potions. Instant bunsen burner in your hand with fire. Wind control is already one of your powers. Then earth well you can make yourself some cool statues.

@Nytefall
Geokinesis only covers literal ground, rock. I also meant plants, example being able to make a vine wrap around a leg. I also put druid magic in there so I can communicate with animals, unless you were simply asking about the 'earth' part.

Firstly, I updated my CS to fit with the skeleton you put up, I apologize for that.

Sorry, I should have elaborated on the scrolls. No, they don't need to be re-applied, but the ink that is used to draw them does need to be re-invigorated. This is a measure to say that she can carry whatever magic she needs on her scrolls, but can't just whip up a new scroll on the fly to suit any situation, as, unless the ink is within an hour of being magically invigorated, it is useless to make magic scrolls with. However, should the scrolls be damaged beyond repair, it takes about 4 hours to make more, so again, can't make them when out and about.

The pacts with the otherworldly creatures aren't really a power, so much as they are story-building. As, the only things she has gotten out of them, as far as powers go, are a Rake that serves as her staff-proxy, magic tobacco (Because I always envisioned her smoking something for a reason that isn't "Cuz it makes me look cool" even though, that essentially is the case) and a Ninja house-maid. They are more for story purposes than to call on in a fight. Again, she is only in regular contact with 1 of them, who 99% of the time, is unwilling or unable to listen to anything she has to say, much less respond to it. I can understand why you think this is actually her gaining bullshit powers from no-where, as the idea that she would be able to call on them for help was an early concept idea that I had, but ultimately got rid of, but forgot to take that part out of the CS. I apologize.

Traditional magic, yeah, I understand that and got rid of it, she is now left with only the one ability that can't simply be taken away by removing her magical items which is her Dragon Tattoo that grants her a molten-beam attack, I gave it limited uses and a substantial drain on her fatigue.

As for the physical appearance, I REALLY want to play her as a 10 year old girl, it annoys me that there are so very few actually good characters bellow the physical age of 10. All of the "Ancient Witches" take the forms of either:

A) middle-aged
B) Hot young woman
C) Old crone

So very few take on the form of an actual child and I wanted this to be one of her defining features. The disadvantage is that she is as physically developed as a 10 year old, meaning that she is not going to win any physical tests against anybody at any time soon... Except if it comes to a weapon fight with her Rake, because she will rek people with that thing.

Anyway, I took what you said and added it as a character trait. Essentially, as her life goes on, her ability to stay in the form of a child is slowly diminishing, she has already lost the ability to turn into a form younger than 9 and she fears that soon, she'll be forced to take on one of the dreaded forms (Middle aged woman, busty teenager or old crone) As such, her main reason for joining the Order is to get her hands on any of their magical research that may hold the key to staying in her current form until she eventually dies of old age. I really like poetic nature of a child-like being dying of old age.

Name: Sans

Age: Can't remember

Appearance:

Gender: Male

Race: Undead

Magic: Adept Sigilist

Equipment: Flying bones, Gaster Blasters, and karmic retribution.

Personality: Sans is very laid back and incredibly lazy. He enjoys making bad puns, likes science fiction, and loves to drink ketchup. In addition, he hates making promises. He is kind and reassuring but becomes eerily serious at particular moments, sometimes causing his pupils to disappear leaving empty black sockets. He is also very observant, to the point where he knows about things that should be logically impossible for him to know. Sans cares deeply for his younger brother, Papyrus, doing thing such reading him bedtime stories every night and giving him presents every Christmas under the identity of Santa. Nonetheless, he likes to mess with him as he would with anyone else.

History: Sans and his younger brother were reanimated by a necromancer named Gaster. Gaster sought to increase his power through the use of sigils, but wanted to hone his skill in sigil carving 1st in order to minimise the risk of carving a sigil the wrong way and getting himself killed. Sans and Papyrus were the only 2 that survived Gaster's practice sessions, with Sans becoming powerful enough to successfully "dunk" on Gaster. Free of Gaster's control, Sans and Papyrus went out into the world and eventually found themselves at The Abandoned Bar, watching The Order do their thing.

I edited the CS with your advice in mind. I hope it's ok now.
