On that note, are all approved characters currently in the character list? I could've sworn we're missing a few? (A lot of characters now, is this manageable?)

I'm not discouraged, my character hasn't been picked. I just tend to stay away from games with a large amount of characters because it's easy to get lost in the shuffle.

@FantasyChic Well, it's a sandbox. So you're completely within your rights to have your character on a long, self-contained arc or limit your interactions to as and when you feel like. Hopefully that mitigates the busyness of it all.

I'd much rather a vibrant, busy game where there's something for everyone than us have a post every other week.

I'm waiting until the roster is either worked out IC or here in the OOC thread for that. I don't want to tell people playing JLA characters who is going to be in the JLA and make them drag NPCs they don't want to work with along with them. As I've said, a nice mixture of DC/Marvel would be good, but outside of that you are free to hash it out amongst yourselves.

We could put a roster based on what we know. Like I know that Lex, Thor, Ant Man, and Black Widow are in the League along with a few others. The players have that under their affiliations. As more are officially added they could just be pasted into the list.

We could throw in a NPC for good measure? Maybe a DC character to even the numbers out a little. Having an NPC could come in useful if people find themselves needing a utility character around.

Some like, say, Hawkgirl could work? It would make the team more gender balanced too.

I think we should find more utility balance than forcing gender balance. What type of a-list hitter do we not have?

Bear in mind I'm planning to eventually have Superman set up a rival team and that will require heavy hitters of its own. So we can't place them all on the Justice League and leave that short-handed.

Someone like Zatanna could work. It would address the gender issue and give the League a magic user that it currently doesn't have. Plus I think Wraith's Batman has some form of relationship with Zatanna, so her being a member of the League could cause a nice tension between the two of them.

Either way, I don't want the League to be so OP that characters are redundant.

I think I'd opt for a mystery man type (Batman, Moon Knight, etc.) since Sloth is making Iron Man JLA.
