Zio is one who would always prefer the peaceful solution of understanding. His desire for the less violent approach gets him in tight situations quite often but even though he would prefer peaceful resolves Zio realises that if it doesn't work he's gotta fight.

Of course there might be more to Zio than his peaceful way. Time can't completely heal the anger deep inside Zio

My past? Really I have to? Fine ok lets see it all began on one fateful night many years-
Ok thats BS i don't remember any fateful nights but i do remember growing up in an orphanage… well if you want to call it that I'd rather call it the great darkness and evil of humanity but hey I'm not good with names, so it was called an institution and was outwardly meant for children who had lost their families to the more well you know supernatural side of things.

Of course that was on the outside, the inside was not as pleasant. Humanity is all about evolving to survive and we were the sacrifices that came with evolution.
Tested on daily, experimenting with both science and magic to find a way to become stronger… of course to all the kids it was just hell, being injected, sliced, spliced and god knows what else daily.

As the kids grew older they lost all feeling and emotions thanks to the drugs and abuse, and they became a byproduct of the main experiments.
Perfect killers.
No feelings made them perfect as field subjects for new, experimental or enhanced weapons and it didn't take long for a certain pink haired? Boy to show promise.
You know because he didn't die and all, what a cool kid huh… anyway thanks to that if someone returned alive they would be pretty beaten up and need patching up often which lead to guess what more experiments with regeneration and other things like oh elemental manipulation.
Now with all this going on you could be wondering things like.
Hey Zio how do you know all this stuff and still have a big heart?

The answers simple I…. Sorry i mean the pink haired boy learnt that not everyone is all bad as a female scientist? Helped them.
Not being able to bare her sins anymore the scientist? Tried to help as many of us escape as possible, which could have gone better honestly… maybe we shouldn't have taken some of their best weapons but hey how else were we supposed to survive.
So yea we tried to break free of the chains binding us.

If only the kids were stronger or more prepared for what they faced, the others. Seen as traitors we were forced to go ahead against the others as we tried to escape and so many failed… the pink haired boy almost did too but the scientist jumped in the way of a fatal blow. Maybe it was out of guilt or some form of self morality but she did save his life, she even said something stupid about how she liked the colour pink in her last breaths as she played with the boys hair.

After that day the boy got away and long after he wore a heart shaped key for every friend he lost due to violence.
I then set off traveling, meeting new people, learning of all the great things that are and could be and in the end i landed in the role of a hunter… not that i like it but it turns out I'm really good at it and thats got to be because of my big heart and my way of convincing the enemy to stop.

Its not like i can stop now anyway i kinda got debt now.
Remember kids don't trust white haired strangers, especially ones possibly linked to the destruction of a certain institution.
He's lucky im such a good guy and said i would pay for his meal for info… even after all the sarcasm.
But what does he do? Not tell me anything and running off forcing me to not only pay his bill but his entire tab.
HOW DOES ONE GET AWAY WITH THAT MUCH DEBT!?

Thats that though and I've got my own things to do still, i just want people to realise whats wrong is wrong and im sure if someone could sacrifice their life to protect someone she herself once toyed with ik sure others can have a change of heart too.

The heart is a wonderful thing. I'm sure one day everyone will understand.

Elemental manipulation

Style:
Earth's Heavy heart lv1- Sheathed sword strikes enhanced for heavy blows.

Burning heart lv1- unsheathed and extremely hot. No seriously the swords on fucking fire.

Hearts serenity lv1- takes an unsheathed stance prepared to counterattack. Feat flow like walking on water.

Heart of rage- storms fist lv1- switching out for a gloved fist style of fighting. Getting hit is like touching exposed electrical wiring… only a lot worse.

Void of the heart lv1- no known elemental enhancement only it's a quickdraw style that is used to decide the fight in an instant.

Equipment:
Necro Heart - A katana forged for the purpose of conducting elemental power channelled through the hilt.

Conducting fists - gloves designed for the purpose of improving channeling on the inside and hardened with metal studs on the outside. Good for conducting electricity.

Techniques:
Heavy heart- crushing blow:
‘learn the weight of your sins’ holding Necro up in the air Zio lets it fall onto his enemy.

HH- tremor:
‘im feeling a little bit heavy today’ slamming the sword onto the ground to cause tremors around.

Burning heart- Release of the heart:
‘ever wondered what it was like to get a heartfelt confession from afar?’
Releasing the fire in a slash Zio lets a projectile of flame loose

Roaring hearts eternal flame-
‘oh man im getting all fired up, lets dance’
Spinning around with Necro held out Zio creates a small tornado of fire around him.
Does tend to make him dizzy.

Flowing tears-
‘I don't really enjoy getting hurt so lets keep the violence down to a minimum’
A counterattack that avoids contact at the last moment before Zio spins around the enemy planting Necro in their back while he faces the other way.

Necro’s love-
‘wow Necro always looking out for me’
Deflecting the attack away with Necro, Zio punches the enemy in the face or guides Necro into the stomach.

Raging heart techniques-
‘you've started to piss me, nobody EVER pisses me off’

Lightning uppercut-
‘im comin in hard this time’
Running in low Zio strikes up into the air causing a lightning strike with his fist.

Missing memories-
‘here let me help you remember’
A grab where Zio grabs the head and lets an electrical surge run through.

Eternal Heartache-

Basically a barrage of fists where the lighting strikes become stronger and faster with every blow

A lightning fast quickdraw technique that decides the match instantly. Its said thw void comes from the amount of slashes left on the enemy from the sudden strike.

Appearance: Tall- a hair over six feet tall, in fact- and slender, granting him a willowy appearance that belies his strength. His posture is very relaxed, though careful watchers can note an undercurrent of tension, as though he’s ready to spring at any time. Short, shaggy blonde hair adorns his head over hard, angular features. His eyes are green, and he usually has a shade of stubble on his face. Usually wears a black longcoat over dark-colored or grey clothing, in contrast to the Sages’ usual attire.

Personality: Silas can come across as naive and childish due to his unrelenting optimism, even in the face of the worst adversities. Despite this demeanor, he is not one to be trifled with- Silas is driven, perhaps to a fault, to succeed in whatever goals he sets for himself, and he has the tactical and analytical mind to achieve almost anything he sets his mind to. While he prefers diplomacy and communication over combat, that’s not to say he isn’t good at it- when pushed, Silas is relentless in battle, flanking, feinting, and forcing his opponents further and further into the snare of his strategic expertise.

“My friends have always been there, for as long as I can remember.”

Silas was born in Germany in the early 19th century, and had a fairly standard childhood growing up, with one exception- his “friends.” Even from a young age, Silas could see and converse with angelic beings that no one else could see. They called themselves by lots of interesting names- Applaud, Fearless, Beloved- and came in all different shapes and sizes. His family and “real” friends all tried to convince him that such things were in his head, a product of his overactive imagination, but Silas had seen the angels do things to the real world- move objects, leave marks of their passing, and the like. He knew they were real- he just didn’t understand why no one else could tell that they were.

Over time, Silas’ rapport with his “friends” grew ever stronger- some were even fitting of their name, being intensely loyal and protective of him. Two in particular, a Fearless and Fairness, grew very close, almost never leaving his side. Some were trickier to converse with than others, but in the end, his friends would almost always listen to him.

As he was not shy about speaking of his “friends,” Silas became an outcast amongst his peers, who believed him delusional. Were it not for the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, Silas might have even believed he was. He didn’t care, either way- he preferred the company of angels to people, anyway. At the age of 18, however, Silas was approached by a strange man in gold and white garb. He believed in Silas’ friends as well, even claimed that he could see them, too. He claimed that Silas had power- power that even the man, as knowledgeable as he seemed, could only guess at. Power that the man claimed he could help Silas unlock, if he would only come with him. Intrigued, Silas took the man’s offer.

In that moment, Silas’ life had now changed forever. The man, named Father Roderick, guided Silas on the path of becoming a Lumen Sage, teaching him to use his gifts to protect and serve the interests of the society. He learned of reaching across the veil, and calling his friends to his side, wherever he may be. He learned powers of magic, of commanding weapons and tools, even power over time itself. He was told of a great war that had nearly driven people like himself and Roderick extinct, destroying the powers of light forever, and how grateful Roderick was to have found him.

Over time, Roderick gathered others like themselves- those who answered the call of Heaven, who wielded the might of Laguna, and conversed with its denizens- until where once there was merely two, there were now dozens. Roderick claimed that the time had come once again, for them to step once more into the light, and take hold of the destiny that the Sages had held once before.

And so, Silas, alongside Father Roderick, helps to lead his order into the new world, their champion of light against a world filled with darkness.

Powers and Abilities:

• Alpha Wolf- Silas Wolfram lives up to his namesake well- Silas has an unusual degree of affinity with the beings of the Hierarchy of Laguna, even amongst his fellow Lumen Sages, giving him a greater degree of control over and capability to communicate with them.
• Illumination- Like all Lumen Sages, Silas draws his powers from the sun and light, and grows stronger and healthier the more light- especially natural sunlight- is in the area, though he can still be formidable without it.

• Three Ring Circus [LV1]- A slow but devastating style, Silas calls upon his angelic familiars to rend the opposition. At the most basic level, Silas can call upon his “hounds”- Kazfiel and Sraosha- in battle, as well as other Third and Second Sphere angels.
  
  
  
  • LV2- Silas can call more powerful angels into battle, even up to and including First Sphere angels. Kazfiel and Sraosha are inspired to even greater power by Silas’ mastery.
  • LV3- Not even the Cardinal Virtues can resist Silas’ call- at level 3, he can call forth the limbs, powers, and even full forms of the Sequi and even Auditio themselves, for a time.

• Sword Juggler [LV1]- Silas commands the facets of his weapon, Pleiades, with his will alone, sending flying blades careening at the opposition from any angle. At the most basic level, Silas can command Pleiades in its basic form and move with deft quickness, even in midair.
  
  
  
  • LV2- Silas can alter the physical properties of Pleiades’ facets, including their size, granting him greater mobility through having him actually ride and dance along his oversized blades.
  • LV3- Silas can split Pleiades into yet more blades and fragments, assaulting the opposition with an unstoppable storm of metal. In addition, Silas can now fly under his own power.

• Pleiades [LV1]- Seven golden sword blades that Silas can materialize and telekinetically control at will, the blades were forged by Silas himself, binding him to them, and preventing them from being moved under any power but his own. How about I make a dragonwerewolf thing and call it a Hellhound? Actually surprised the only thing I found resembling a Hellhound in all three universes is the Basilisk from DMC4. On that note, Berial is my favorite boss design in that game and going through the wiki makes me want to play it again.

Name: Fenn
Gender: Male
Age: He lost track long ago.
Race: Demon (Hellhound)

Appearance: Fenn’s species hails from the hotter, fiery areas of the underworld, and bears a striking physical resemblance to the Stalkers native to the Forge Lands, with a large torso, broad shoulders, and long, thick arms with four-fingered hands ending in razor sharp claws. Their lower bodies tend to be smaller, with a thinner waist, comparatively sleek and short back legs, and a reptilian tail. As with Stalkers, most of their bodies are covered in hardened scales that armor the beasts against most kinds of cutting weapons.

This is where the similarities end, however. Unlike with Stalkers, fur covers their forearms, lower legs, and upper head and back, forming a kind of mane. Moreover, their heads have a distinct canine look, with an elongated muzzle, short, triangular ears, and maws full of sharp teeth.

Fenn is a particularly large specimen, near doubling the height of most humans when on all fours and easily tripling it when standing upright. His body is covered in dull, soot-colored scales and black fur. His amber, slitted eyes have a sharp, cunning gleam belied by his bestial appearance.

Several scars mat his body, clearly visible among his fur and scales by their whitish coloration.

Faction: Currently unaffiliated.

Personality: While at first glance Fenn seems like little more than a mindless beast, he is perfectly capable of speech, and possesses an intellect on par with most sapient creatures of the three realms.

Like many demons, Fenn has long resigned himself to the idea that might makes right in all worlds, but has lived long enough to reach the contradicting conclusion that one day any who chooses to wield such power will be crushed under its weight.

This has left Fenn with an ill-tempered, sardonic demeanor that seems to be characterized by three moods: Boredom, varying degrees of anger and irritation, and a form of caustic amusement levelled at anything and everything around him like a burr’s thorns.

Nonetheless, he derives much enjoyment from combat, and sees it as his sole reason for being. It is the one thing he can fully devote himself to.

Fenn tends to be distrustful of most other beings. He shares other demons’ dislike of heaven’s forces, seeing them as uptight, self-righteous, hypocritical bastards, sees many demons as deceitful cowards, and considers humanity to be largely inconsequential, their lifespans too short for them to amount to anything. One of the few ways of earning his respect is to stand up to him in battle.

Bio: Tribes of Hellhounds typically choose their leader through trials in combat meant to find the finest warrior among them. Once such a warrior is chosen, challenges can be issued forth by other warriors in the tribe to contest this position if they believed such a one to be unworthy. Should a leader turn away from such a challenge, tradition dictated they would be killed on the spot as a matter of honor.

In his younger days, this is how Fenn rose to become his tribe’s leader, slaying his predecessor and slaughtering all that tried to contest his rule. Under his leadership, other tribes were eradicated or absorbed into theirs, their borders within the realm were settled for the first time, and his tribe saw a kind of prosperity and growth that had been previously unheard of.

All in all, a land ripe for rebellion.

Once the tribes had been unified, many of the younger warriors sought to expand into other territories of the underworld, fighting the demons there. Such was the warlike nature of their culture. Up until then, this incessant battle had been confined to spats between the tribes, but now the warriors found themselves without an enemy. Fenn refused to send them out, however, completely preoccupied with consolidating his power among the remaining tribes.

It was then that a nascent Demon Lord approached some of the younger warriors with a proposition. Should the Hellhound tribes become a part of his army, they would gain power, see riches as never before, and would never run out of enemies. The young warriors brought this proposition to Fenn, but at the time he was proud and ambitious, and failed to recognize the dissatisfaction spreading amongst his followers. He refused to fight under someone else’s banner.

Angered by this rejection, the finest warriors under his command gathered in secret, and made the choice to depose him. However, many had seen their leader fight, and none of them thought to be his equal, so they sought the help of the Demon Lord. Amused by their desire to join him, the Lord acquiesced to their request, and granted them a debilitating poison, with the instructions that they should mix it into Fenn’s food, and the condition that, once he was defeated, he was brought to him alive.

The warriors agreed, and poisoned their leader. The following day, the strongest among them issued forth a challenge. Weakened by the poison, Fenn was brought low by the chosen warrior, and brought forth to the Demon Lord.

As punishment for denying him, the Demon Lord sentenced Fenn to fighting for his amusement, and was pitted against various other criminals and dissenters in that realm in an arena built at the Demon Lord’s castle.

Meanwhile, the Hellhound tribes came into the Demon Lord’s service to work as the front lines of his forces.

In time, the Demon Lord fell, defeated by other demons and their own armies, and Fenn managed his escape. He found that, in the time of his imprisonment, the Hellhound tribes had suffered horrible loses and became fractured. With no Demon Lord to battle under, they had turned against each other again, the tribes brought even lower than the depths from which he had lifted them.

Fenn was disgusted by this, and chose to wash his hands off the whole mess. Vengeance meant little at that point. He had learned that the ones who had betrayed him had long since died in battle, and the Demon Lord had his head stuck in a pike clearly visible from the castle’s entrance. Instead, he became the demonic equivalent of a mercenary, uncaring of his employers’ aims as long as he was allowed to fight.

In time, he came into the service of several other Demons and monsters seeking to assert dominion in whatever areas of hell were not under the direct control of Mundus or Sheba. So far, he has managed to outlive all of his masters.

[Combat]

Powers and Abilities:
-Physical strength: Fenn is strong even among others of his kind, capable of lifting beings and objects that far surpass him in size.
-Keen senses: Fenn’s sense of smell and hearing are like those of a predator, able to pick up and distinguish the quietest of noises and of tracking subtle scents when focused.
-Armored skin: The scales that cover a Hellhound’s body are hard as armor, and can easily deflect all but the sharpest of blades. This defense can be circumvented by attacking exposed areas such as articulations or his throat. Crushing weapons tend to have better results in general.
-Fire Manipulation: All Hellhounds are born with the ability to create flame and manipulate it to some extent. When making extensive use of this power, Fenn’s fur turns into wreathing flames. As one may surmise, Hellhounds themselves are completely impervious to all but the strongest infernos.

Style:
Roaring Furnace [Lvl-1]: There are few things more terrifying than a giant, angry werewolf-dragon-monster bearing down on you while it’s on fire. Fenn’s preferred fighting style can be most easily described as relying on overwhelming force. A battle-lust descends upon him and he will use his long, thick arms to pummel opponents, fang and tooth to rend at their flesh, and hellish flames to char what remains. This is particularly effective against weaker opponents, against whom his body’s naturally tough skin is all the defense needed, or against unprepared ones, who may not be able to mount a defense in time to withstand his assault.

At higher levels, this style further increases his strength, speed and the intensity of his flames. It only allows for the use of his fire breath and cloak related abilities in addition to his physical strength, however.

Flash Fire [Lvl-1]: A fighting style reserved for enemies able to penetrate his body’s defenses. He will become cautious and fight tactically, using all the techniques at his disposal. He will often fight upright in this case, leaving his arms free to bludgeon opponents and better manipulate his flames.

When using this style, all fire related techniques are available and receive a buff. At higher levels, new ways for manipulating flames can be unlocked and performed more efficiently.

Physical:
-Claw [Lvl-1]: He will swipe his claws at the enemy.
-Hell’s Maw [Lvl-1]: He will bite at his opponent with white-hot teeth.
-Pummel [Lvl-1]: Being hit by one of Fenn’s arms is like being struck with a tree trunk.
-Grapple [Lvl-1]: Fenn is large and strong enough to grab and lift most opponents single handedly. Should he succeed, he will then proceed to throw them, crush them, or use them as impromptu weapons to club other enemies with.

Hellfire:
-Fire Breath [Lvl-1]: Fenn is able to breathe out a stream of flames. One can tell when he is preparing to do so as his scars and the space between the scales in his chest will begin to emit an orange glow.
-Fire Cloak [Lvl-1]: Fire completely envelops Fenn’s body, making it difficult for enemies to approach him. As an expression of a Hellhound’s spirit and power, this cloak also serves to revitalize him, and as a shield against magical (or otherwise not entirely physical) threats, dampening their effects or blocking them out entirely should they be weak enough.
-Fire Ball [Lvl-1]: Flaming spheres that can be formed and lobbed at enemies. Basic fire magic.
-Fire Pillar [Lvl-1]: Placing an arm on the ground, Fenn can direct energy under his opponent until it explodes in a pillar of fire. The ground glowing under one is a simple way of telling this is about to happen.
-Fire Whip [Lvl-1]: Coating his arms in fire, he can swing them around to send swaths of fire at his enemies.

Anyway, would this work? As you may notice, there are no weapons here. Felt it would not really make sense for this one. Would that be an issue? Maybe upgrades should go to physical stats instead of weapons for him?

Probably if you had to put weapons, claws and fangs. They may be a part of you as physical parts of your body, but you use them for combat anyways, plus you'll want it for upgrades.

I dismissed the idea, thinking most characters that use chains as weapons in the coolest ways (without something attached at the end) tended to have a bizarre amount of control over them, almost as if they controlled them with their will rather than their hands.

Thinking on it again, maybe that's actually a good idea. We're talking about an old demon that spent centuries in captivity, so perhaps it would not be a stretch to say chains became a part of him.

Like Kratos, a great warrior who had to fight for the god of war. I fully support the use of chains because of the kickass god of war parralels.

I added chains as a weapon, gave them techniques, and added them to appearance. I also thought it would be cool to give the character a title based on them, make him feel more distinguished.

Name: Fenn ("Chained Hound")
Gender: Male
Age: He lost track in the arena, and that was centuries ago.
Race: Demon (Hellhound)

Appearance: Fenn’s species hails from the hotter, fiery areas of the underworld, and bears a striking physical resemblance to the Stalkers native to the Forge Lands, with a large torso, broad shoulders, and long, thick arms with four-fingered hands ending in razor sharp claws. Their lower bodies tend to be smaller, with a thinner waist, comparatively sleek and short back legs, and a reptilian tail. As with Stalkers, most of their bodies are covered in hardened scales that armor the beasts against most kinds of cutting weapons.

This is where the similarities end, however. Unlike with Stalkers, fur covers their forearms, lower legs, and upper head and back, forming a kind of mane. Moreover, their heads have a distinct canine look, with an elongated muzzle, short, triangular ears, and maws full of sharp teeth.

Fenn is a particularly large specimen, near doubling the height of most humans when on all fours and easily tripling it when standing upright. His body is covered in dull, soot-colored scales and black fur. His amber, slitted eyes have a sharp, cunning gleam belied by his bestial appearance. Several scars crisscross his whole body, clearly visible among his fur and scales by their whitish coloration.

The only thing in terms of clothing or adornment worn by Fenn are two sets of thick, heavy chains stemming from manacles on his wrists. The lengths of chain are typically wrapped around his forearms.

Faction: Currently unaffiliated.

Personality: While at first glance Fenn seems like little more than a mindless beast, he is perfectly capable of speech, and possesses an intellect on par with most sapient creatures of the three realms.

Like many demons, Fenn has long resigned himself to the idea that might makes right in all worlds, but has lived long enough to reach the contradicting conclusion that one day any who chooses to wield such power will be crushed under its weight.

This has left Fenn with an ill-tempered, sardonic demeanor that seems to be characterized by three moods: Boredom, varying degrees of anger and irritation, and a form of caustic amusement levelled at anything and everything around him like a burr’s thorns.

Nonetheless, he derives much enjoyment from combat, and sees it as his sole reason for being. It is the one thing he can fully devote himself to.

Fenn tends to be distrustful of most other beings. He shares other demons’ dislike of heaven’s forces, seeing them as uptight, self-righteous, hypocritical bastards, sees many demons as deceitful cowards, and considers humanity to be largely inconsequential, their lifespans too short for them to amount to anything. One of the few ways of earning his respect is to stand up to him in battle.

Bio: Tribes of Hellhounds typically choose their leader through trials in combat meant to find the finest warrior among them. Once such a warrior is chosen, challenges can be issued forth by other warriors in the tribe to contest this position if they believed such a one to be unworthy. Should a leader turn away from such a challenge, tradition dictated they would be killed on the spot as a matter of honor.

In his younger days, this is how Fenn rose to become his tribe’s leader, slaying his predecessor and slaughtering all that tried to contest his rule. Under his leadership, other tribes were eradicated or absorbed into theirs, their borders within the realm were settled for the first time, and his tribe saw a kind of prosperity and growth that had been previously unheard of.

All in all, a land ripe for rebellion.

Once the tribes had been unified, many of the younger warriors sought to expand into other territories of the underworld, fighting the demons there. Such was the warlike nature of their culture. Up until then, this incessant battle had been confined to spats between the tribes, but now the warriors found themselves without an enemy. Fenn refused to send them out, however, completely preoccupied with consolidating his power among the remaining tribes.

It was then that a nascent Demon Lord approached some of the younger warriors with a proposition. Should the Hellhound tribes become a part of his army, they would gain power, see riches as never before, and would never run out of enemies. The young warriors brought this proposition to Fenn, but at the time he was proud and ambitious, and failed to recognize the dissatisfaction spreading amongst his followers. He refused to fight under someone else’s banner.

Angered by this rejection, the finest warriors under his command gathered in secret, and made the choice to depose him. However, many had seen their leader fight, and none of them thought to be his equal, so they sought the help of the Demon Lord. Amused by their desire to join him, the Lord acquiesced to their request, and granted them a debilitating poison, with the instructions that they should mix it into Fenn’s food, and the condition that, once he was defeated, he was brought to him alive.

The warriors agreed, and poisoned their leader. The following day, the strongest among them issued forth a challenge. Weakened by the poison, Fenn was brought low by the chosen warrior, and brought forth to the Demon Lord.

As punishment for denying him, the Demon Lord sentenced Fenn to fighting for his amusement, and was pitted against various other criminals and dissenters in that realm in an arena built at the Demon Lord’s castle.

Meanwhile, the Hellhound tribes came into the Demon Lord’s service to work as the front lines of his forces.

In time, the Demon Lord fell, defeated by other demons and their own armies, and Fenn managed his escape. He found that, in the time of his imprisonment, the Hellhound tribes had suffered horrible loses and became fractured. With no Demon Lord to battle under, they had turned against each other again, the tribes brought even lower than the depths from which he had lifted them.

Fenn was disgusted by this, and chose to wash his hands off the whole mess. Vengeance meant little at that point. He had learned that the ones who had betrayed him had long since died in battle, and the Demon Lord had his head stuck in a pike clearly visible from the castle’s entrance. Instead, he became the demonic equivalent of a mercenary, uncaring of his employers’ aims as long as he was allowed to fight.

In time, he came into the service of several other Demons and monsters seeking to assert dominion in whatever areas of hell were not under the direct control of Mundus or Sheba. So far, he has managed to outlive all of his masters.

[Combat]

Powers and Abilities:
-Physical strength: Fenn is strong even among others of his kind, capable of lifting beings and objects that far surpass him in size.
-Keen senses: Fenn’s sense of smell and hearing are like those of a predator, able to pick up and distinguish the quietest of noises and of tracking subtle scents when focused.
-Armored skin: The scales that cover a Hellhound’s body are hard as armor, and can easily deflect all but the sharpest of blades. This defense can be circumvented by attacking exposed areas such as articulations or his throat. Crushing weapons tend to have better results in general.
-Fire Manipulation: All Hellhounds are born with the ability to create fire and manipulate it to some extent. When agitated, or when making direct use of this power, Fenn’s fur turns into wreathing, orange flames. As one may surmise, Hellhounds themselves are completely impervious to all but the strongest infernos.
-Devil Trigger: Fire completely envelops Fenn’s body, making it difficult for enemies to approach him. As an expression of a Hellhound’s spirit and power, this cloak also serves to revitalize him, healing wounds and increasing his speed and strength. It also serves as a shield against magical (or otherwise not entirely physical) threats, dampening their effects or blocking them out entirely should they be weak enough.

Style:
Roaring Furnace [Lvl-1]: There are few things more terrifying than a giant, angry werewolf-dragon-monster bearing down on you while it’s on fire. Fenn’s preferred fighting style can be most easily described as relying on overwhelming force. A battle-lust descends upon him and he will use his long, thick arms to pummel opponents, fang and tooth to rend at their flesh, and hellish flames to char what remains. This is particularly effective against weaker opponents, against whom his body’s naturally tough skin is all the defense needed, or against unprepared ones, who may not be able to mount a defense in time to withstand his assault.

At higher levels, this style further increases his strength, speed and the intensity of his flames. Relying solely in animalistic aggression, Fenn is only able to use his fire breath and cloaking abilities when fighting this way.

Flash Fire [Lvl-1]: A fighting style reserved for enemies able to penetrate his body’s defenses. He will become cautious and fight tactically, using all the techniques at his disposal. He will often fight upright in this case, leaving his arms free to bludgeon opponents, wield his chains as heavy whips, and better manipulate his flames.

When using this style, all fire related techniques are available. At higher levels, new ways for manipulating flames can be unlocked and performed more efficiently.

Equipment:
-Fangs and Claws [Lvl-1]: The fangs and claws of a Hellhound. Harder than still and able to be heated up to ludicrous temperatures.

-Chains[Lvl-1]: The same chains used to imprison him by the Demon Lord. These are attached to manacles on his wrists, and are typically wrapped around his forearms. Made to be resistant to heat and nigh unbreakable, and enchanted to be impossible to remove. The chains were not particularly effective at restraining Fenn (the chains were made for him, but the walls of the dungeon they were attached to were not nearly as sturdy), but they were the clearest symbol of the Demon Lord’s power over him.

With time, these chains seem to have become just another aspect of the demon, seeming to change lengths at will, able to channel flames as easily as any other part of Fenn’s body, and able to be moved with a precision almost impossible to achieve by a wielder’s hands alone.

These chains have become synonymous with the demon, earning Fenn the moniker “Chained Hound.”

Techniques:

Fangs and Claws:
-Claw [Lvl-1]: He will swipe his claws at the enemy. They can be super-heated for extra damage.
-Hell’s Maw [Lvl-1]: He will bite at his opponent with white-hot teeth.
-Pummel [Lvl-1]: Being hit by one of Fenn’s arms is like being struck with a tree trunk.
-Grapple [Lvl-1]: Fenn is large and strong enough to grab and lift most opponents single handedly. Should he succeed, he will then proceed to throw them, crush them, or use them as impromptu weapons to club other enemies with.

Chains:
-Sweep [Lvl-1]: Fenn swings his chains in a low, wide arc in front of him, aiming to knock enemies off their feet. This move is best used at a certain range.
-Pull [Lvl-1]: Fenn is able to use his chains as a kind of lasso, wrapping them around opponents and swinging them to bash enemies against walls or, if particularly heavy, simply knock them off balance.
-Scourge [Lvl-1]: He will bring his chain down in wide, overhead swings like a whip. The chains are heavy enough to break bones if struck by them.
-Choke [Lvl-1]: Against beings his size, the chains can be used in close-combat to restrain enemies, choke them by wrapping the chain around their throats, or as leverage to throw them.

Hellfire:
-Fire Breath [Lvl-1]: Fenn is able to breathe out a stream of flames. One can tell when he is preparing to do so as his scars and the space between the scales in his chest will begin to emit an orange glow.
-Fire Ball [Lvl-1]: Flaming spheres that can be formed and lobbed at enemies. Basic fire magic.
-Fire Pillar [Lvl-1]: Placing an arm on the ground, Fenn can direct energy under his opponent until it explodes in a pillar of fire. The ground glowing under one is a simple way of telling this is about to happen.
