Current Sorry for the delay everyone. I've been absolutely swamped with work these last weeks. I'm getting my replies up slowly.

Keeping track of things makes it easier to avoid bad experiences! And to not make the same mistake like an idiot... :-/

Bio

"Humanity takes great pride in three things. Their willpower, their greed and their mortality.

Their will and endless greed allows them to grow and accend past other creatures
But their mortality denies them divinity

It's a delightful purgatory between being Fallen and being Divine"

It wasn't a secret to those who had magi blood running through their veins and that were closely in tune with the world of magic that Japan was currently in the middle of a huge turmoil. Resistances always existed against the harsh isolationist rules of the Guild and it was always known by everyone that the situation on Japan was a keg of powder, just waiting to explode. What no one expected was that when it finally exploded, it would be as big as it is being right now. The guild who always enforced the rules and was a very powerful organization in the world of magic was being driven into a corner, it's presence in the province of Satsuma being almost completely erased. The conflict between the resistance and the guild though wasn't just something local. The entire magic community had it's eyes turned towards it. The outcome of that conflict could start a wave that would change the world, both the magic one and the non-magic one and could even lead to another world between the mages and the non-mages. That said, there was a person who couldn't care less about the conflicts, despite being currently in a plane going right to the center of said conflicts...

Faye was honestly surprised when the guild had contacted her. She knew very well that they saw her as a very problematic individual due to her using her powers without restrain, the repeated warnings and the many reprimands from the guild, but she never expected that they would ask her help, out of anyone. In fact, she was expecting her sister to be called, not her. Being the perfect child, the heir of the Hayward family and a powerful Cryomage, it was almost certain that if the Guild needed the Hayward family's help, they would request for Victoria, not her. The fact that her attitude made of her someone that would more likely support the resistance against the isolationist rules of the Guild made their choice even more strange to her. No matter their reasons for doing that though, Faye was excited of being able to go to Japan. Since she was requested by the guild too, the Hayward family couldn't do anything at all against her. Of course, she didn't care nor gave even the tiniest bit of importance to the situation that was happening on Sastuma right now.

The flight was long and honestly, very boring for Faye. Without anything to do other than watch some movies and sleep, she had to find excuses to get up from her chair and walk a bit for the entire flight. According to the instructions that were given to her by email, there was going to be someone waiting for her on the airport to take her to the guild safe house. Faye herself didn't need to specifically ask for a driver but the Guild knew that it was either that or leave her to her own devices in a foreign place. A curious Faye that didn't know how to speak Japanese and had no problems in using her powers in public, in the middle of Satsuma who was the center of the rebellion, wasn't a good idea at all. The moment Faye got out of the airplane though, she received a message on her smartphone. According to it, the guild safe house had been compromised and the location of the place she was going had been changed.

Faye already was someone hard to ignore where in the UK. In Japan though, she did draw even more attention, as it became evident due to the stares that she attracted the very moment she passed the customs and effectively got in Japanese soil. She even had to stop a few times in order to take selfies together with a few people, which she did without any problem at all.

"Miss Hayward." a male voice suddenly called her, with a small sign with her full name written on it.

"Oh hey! Are you from the-" She began, with a cheerful tone and smile that seemed to be the complete opposite of the serious expression the man had on his face.

"Yes. If you could come with me now, I would be grateful" The man said, interrupting her in a silent but firm tone, obviously reprimanding her for her almost having mentioned the guild.

"Ooh, right! Sorry!" she said, with an awkward smile.

"It's fine for you to call me Faye by the way. No need for the miss or to be overly formal." Faye said as she got inside the silver Nissan Note that was parked outside.

"We are going to this new place, right?" she asked as she sat down on the back, with her bad on her lap as she made a small portal on top of it, reaching inside and grabbing a small bar of cereal.

The driver looked at her in shock, almost not believing in what the girl had just made. Not due to her magic but to the fact that she was clueless and an airhead to the point of using her magic like that in the presence of someone who worked for the guild and being in the worse places in the world right now to do that.

"You are really incapable of taking anything seriously, aren't you?" he asked, finally dropping the formal tone as he sighed loudly, putting his hand in his forehead and shaking it in disapproval.

"What? I am hungry!" she said, protesting as she gave a bite on the cereal bar.

It did take a while for them to get to said house, especially since the location changed. When they arrived though, the driver simply dropped her off in front of the house with her baggage with a small indication that that was where she was going to stay before leaving with the car again.

"I wonder why he was so grumpy..." Faye said to herself as she approached the house, knocking on the door without a care in the world.

Ayita couldn't help but to laugh as she heard Zel greeting her. The boy really did come here just to eat, didn't he? Not that Ayita saw anything wrong with that, the food, even though she ate just a little, was indeed very good. Judging by his words, he didn't like nobles that much though.

"Hm... It's not like I hate all of them but the most stuck up and arrogant surely are very irritating. It's the reason why I was worried about having to dance with one of them. It would be really annoying to deal with an angry noble, wouldn't it?" she asked, with a giggle.

"Oh for that you would have to catch me first, wouldn't you?" Ayita said with a mischievous smirk after Zel said that he might bite her if she stepped on him before grabbing his hand to begin the dance.

"It is my first time dancing so you might have to show me how to do it." Ayita mentioned with a chuckle.

Ayita tried looking at the other people in the ball, imitating their postures as she got closer to Zel to dance. Assuming that Zel wouldn't know much about such formal dances, since he did look very out of place in such a formal ball, she would have to try and mirror other's movements.

When Myra heard the tall man repeating her name, she nodded affirmatively with a smile on her face, happy to know that he understood how she was called. He introduced himself as Tan but for some reason he also said that he was a good man, which made her a bit confused. Just the fact that he wasn't being mean with her already meant he was good, didn't it? It was also pretty obvious that he was a man, like Darius. Maybe he was saying that because of what Darius had said before? That if he wasn't good with her that she could bite and scratch him? Maybe he was a bit worried about that. Maybe it would be a good idea to not show her teeth or claws that much in order to not startle him.

As they began dancing, Myra tried her hardest to follow Tan's steps, staying in the tip of her toes in order to try and lessen the difference in height. It quickly became obvious that, despite her knowing the very basics, she didn't have any experience in dancing. Her movements were a bit awkward and stiff, almost as if she was trying to mimic the instructions someone had given her. Despite all that, she was doing relatively well. So far she had only stepped on Tan's feet twice and stumbled only once on someone else with her tail! The moment Tan tried to spin her around though, he got her by surprise. Not expecting that, Myra, who was already too concentrated trying to remember how to move her feet according to the instructions Adrian had given her, ended up tripping on her own feet and losing her balance for a moment. Moving by pure instinct, Myra's tail moved almost like a whip in order for her to regain her balance as she assumed a lower posture. Unfortunately, Tan did spin her right into the direction of someone else. Even though Myra didn't even touch the elf, her tail did and with full force too, going right to his legs almost like a sweep kick.

Mikhail watched together with Faeril as Thom opened the door, carrying the keg of ale with Fatima's help, whom waved towards them before going downstairs again. With Fatima going downstairs again and Thom looking to Faeril, eager to help, she finally turned to Mikhail, saying she would join the others downstairs. Before going though, she waved her hands, making the keg open itself, pouring a bit of ale in a cup she had called from the cupboard. As she added a few herbs in the mixture, with a delicate tongue of whitchfire to brew everything together, she finally offered it to Mikhail, saying that it would help with the headaches.

"... Alcohol?" Mikhail asked, carefully grabbing the cup she had offered with one hand, inspecting it.

Yes, he knew that ale was only one of the ingredients, for all effects, that was a medicine brewed by Faeril herself, so it wasn't like Mikhail was doubting her. It was only that he wasn't someone that enjoyed alcohol very much. Bit by bit, Mikhail began drinking the medicine, being almost overly careful with it due to the alcohol.

"Not exactly my cup of tea..." Mikhail said with a chuckle, cleaning his throat after he finished drinking it.

After they were done with that, Mikhail followed Faeril and Thom, who was helping the black widow to get down the stairs. Mikhail did notice how Faeril looked at Thom and it was clear to him that he wasn't the only one that liked the boy. When they got downstairs though, Gennar, who was in the middle of a game of poker with Faeril and Denvar, also seemed to have noticed Faeril's stare and replied to it with clear disapproval on his voice, stare and reaction, letting out a 'no' before even Faeril said anything.

Not wanting to interrupt their small... conversation, Mikhail decided to look at the game of poker between Dareen and Denvar. Now that Gennar had folded, they were the two last ones in the table. That said, Mikhail still paid a bit of attention in Gennar and Faeril, since the matter they were discussing was about Thom and it wasn't a surprise that Gennar would indeed like to get rid of the boy.
Aiko Kamiya

Aiko couldn't help but to tighten her grip as she read the message on her smartphone with an annoyed, and slightly angry expression. She knew very well who that message was from. Scotch and Kotch, the owners of the Corneo Colliseum and scum that worked for Don Corneo... The biggest of them all... The Colliseum was a big place with a lot of money to be made and a good place to earn recognition and respect, but in the other hand, your very life was held as a collateral if you failed... Aiko had competed and raced in the Colliseum a few times before. Unfortunately she ended up attracting the attention from people she shouldn't have due to her skills. Scotch and Kotch were already worrying as they are but the most worrying of them all was definitely Don Corneo himself. She only had to deal directly with him twice, but she was painfully aware of the type of person he was... What made her even more angry was that he also knew who she was. He knew how skillful she was, he knew that sooner or later she would end up going back to his Colliseum when she needed money and more than anything... He knew that she liked the adrenaline... and she hated being played by Don Corneo and his dogs like that.

"I can't stand these guys..." Aiko said with long sigh as she slumped on the metal chair she was on before throwing her smartphone on the couch, a few meters away. While it would be considered small for a family, the small apartment that she lived was perfect for someone who was living alone, especially with her petite frame. Another good point of it was that since it was a small apartment, the rent was pretty cheap for the location it was, being in a rather good part of Midgar, it wasn't as good as the places in the upper cities, by far, but it also wasn't as bad as the slums.

Aiko sighed again before turning back to the well lit table where all her tools and a half disassembled motorized rollerblade was lying over, it's pieces carefully organized besides it while the other one was already on one of her feet. The model of rollerblade in the table used to be a professional grade one but after so much tinkering, it was almost a completely different and unique model. Carefuly and precisely calibrated and regulated to fit Aiko's preferences, replaced internal components in order to handle the impact, pressure and to fulfill Aiko's ever growing need for speed, it was certainly not the work of a beginner. Just like most personal rollerblades from true racers, it was considered a treasure by their owners, but almost utterly useless for any other rollerblader. After completely reassembling the rollerblade and making sure everything was in the right place she turned to the side, sliding the metal chair a bit back to wear it. Standing up and going towards the couch, she grabbed her smartphone and wrote a quick reply to the message she received.

"Will think." she wrote before she putting the smartphone into her pocket. She hated herself for giving that answer but the truth was that she would need the money, sooner or later. The real question was if she was desperate enough to go the the Colliseum or not.

Heading towards the door, she locked it behind her as she calmly got down the stairs. Most of the people that lived nearby already knew very well what Aiko was going to do when she got out of her apartment while wearing her rollerblades and the special suit. She had just finished tweaking them and making a few upgrades to their internal components and she really wanted to test it out and there was no better place to do it other than the maze-like city of Midgar. Since she was also known around the area, it was never hard to get information about what was happening in the streets, people seemed to like her due how chill she was and never got into problems with anyone. For that matter, she had a few people in mind. In a city like Midgar, information was important. It could lead her to potentially profitable jobs or tell her if someone had their eyes on her... Like that damn Don Corneo...
