yeah, that is what I am trying to figure out...it would be hard for a human to know anything big about gems. The only reason Greg knew everything or more than others is because Rose told him.

The only reason I thought the temple idea is from that one episode that depicted the past war which gave us a little bit of information so I figured it could work the same. It is just that most of it all would be speculation and forming ideas of what it all might mean. The character could have guessed some correct while other the character would probably be really wrong.

That makes it sound like there are a lot more gems awake and that they have been that way for awhile. I'm not sure if that will quite work...hmmm what if one of the temples near a kindergarten depicted what happened with the war and he actually took the time to visit more, learning information along the way or hidden myths he believed were tied to it?

The only thing Aquamarine doesn't know is the exact way the war ended, other than that she knows the rest of the past. She just doesn't know the time from the end of the war to now. Also you have to remember that this is a human and how this person would come by this knowledge. Other than that I don't see much of a problem with them knowing things.

Hmmm that is a good point, we don't really have someone that is older that might have some magical knowledge. Could help the gems learn of the temple nearby also?

That was kind of my problem is we have a good spectrum of human characters
