Okay everyone, I really apologize for the long wait as I had a queue from Jones a long time ago that I could have posted off of but I have been really really busy from my new job with weird hours as the new store tries to open. I am very tired and my body hurts from doing things it isn't completely used too and because of my past injury. This has made me tired and unable to focus on posting but I will try to be better in the future since I am going on a more normal schedule soon.
As it is, I am writing a post now. Can't promise it will be amazing but at least it will be something and hopefully a move forward for others to post and get their beautiful butts back on the ship so that we can get our missions on....
Okay, probably the worse lame post ever for the creature but I am running on a low here so I will try to do better for the creature next time. This should give a little room for posting at least that is my hope >.<
The corrupted gem held onto its prey, safe from any possible attack from the being in its grasp but not to the creature's knowledge. It did however wobble a bit from the pain as the gem below started to struggle in its grasp and irritate the already hurt leg that Aquamarine had dealt in battle earlier. It tightened its grip on the other but just as Chalcopyrite stopped in her endeavor of attack to wait out their little flight, the corrupted gems hurt leg let go of Chal on one side to dangle them by the one arm it still had grasp off. It didn't bother with the fact this could be a bad thing as it just focused in on the town now spotted, letting out a loud shrill cry as it came closer and closer to the unsuspecting humans having no idea that it was in the line of sight of Spinel and that other gems were scattered about the area ready to defend. It built up speed, rushing in so that it could attack and ravage the town below with hot plasma.
Sounds good. I will just put her in for now and we can deal with the other profile when you are ready. I have other posts I need to get to any way so the wait will give me some time to finish that up ^-^
Most in Brain Burst probably believe that Shizuka has uninstalled and retired from the game seeing as she hasn't gotten on it in the last three years. This fortunately is untrue, though she doesn't know why she can't seem to push herself to delete it. Maybe it was all the memories they held of her brother and the last thing she wanted to do was purposely forget him or maybe it was the guilt from thinking it was her fault. If she hadn't gotten to level nine, if she hadn't been a huge target than none of this would have happened. Her brother died because of that crash and nothing could change that no matter how much she wanted to. It was her fault. If it hadn't been for her brother's Guardian than she would have been challenged while completely injured in a coma. Mamorimasu worked hard to keep her safe but the coma wouldn't shake so he went to seek help. He risked it all asking for the Red Kings help, feeling that she was trustworthy enough to know the Black Kings identity and not take advantage of that knowledge. Failing and having Brain Burst uninstalled before she ever woke up maybe that would have been better in her opinion upon awaking. Instead, they were the winners and their attacker couldn't remember why they had done what they did, at least not completely which made a perfect insanity plea. Others tried to attack later but between her two protectors, there was no chance. Shizuka is slightly afraid to stand back up and jump into the Accelerated World again. It makes her worry that her brother meant nothing but she is slowly coming to terms with what happened and the call of that World has slowly started to grip her again after all these years.
Fun Facts:
Shizuka is mute in the real world. The only way she can speak to another is a wired connection or a Burst Link where her Avatar is in control. It is this reason that Brain Burst is so alluring to her because it gives her a voice.

Her brother was also the one that gave her Brain Burst and never cared about her rising level as he wanted to support her if he couldn't protect her any longer

Mamorimasu(her brother's Guardian the Emerald Shock) is the only person that knows her real identity and that she is still able to be a part of Brain Burst and he has subtly been helping in trying to get her to return.
The year is 2056. It has been thirty-four years since the time Sword Art Online virtual game was released and the travesty that befell the people of that game. In that time, NerveGear has evolved and grown into a new scale all its own. The technology from NerveGear was able to bring forth Neuro Linkers, a personal computer that was not only used in daily life activities but also brought so much more to the virtual world. Schools have open networks during breaks just so students may check messages or even go into a designed virtual world for relaxation and recreational activities. The global network makes sure that all can stay connected at any time, no hassle and part of almost everyone's lifestyles. In the last 25 years, Neuro Linkers can be installed at birth and with this came a secret program that no one knows the origin of. Its creator anonymous to all but a slight hope of meeting them came about with the rumor of lvl 10. It also has a negative side to this rumor...once lvl 10 is reached by anyone the game is over. The secret program gone and many feel that it is not worth meeting the creator if it all must end. Some feel like the Virtual world is their safe haven and others love the perks acceleration gives them. Why give up being smarter or better at sports when you choose? Using its advantages to make money and who knows the possibilities in the real world just to meet a creator? Many had tried despite the perks and some got close but ultimately, no one has gotten to the lvl and meet its creator. It would take killing 5 lvl 9 Linkers to be able to reach lvl 10 after all and that is a great feet to overcome since the Kings are the only ones of that lvl. Would anyone be crazy enough to fight them? To make them fight each other? Who knows? Maybe people like everything how it is. I guess that is for the future to decide.
Acceleration is applied in the real world through Burst Link. A perk for Brain Burst. It allows you to speed up your consciousness so that everything appears slower so you can figure out how to move, have extra time to work out problems, ect. Your physical body doesn't move, you are in your Avatar but you can still have more time to get things done or react.
It is for this reason that people fight hard to win Burst Points so they can use this tool

A Neuro Linker is a collar like personal computer that can communicate wirelessly with the user's brain. It has two functions: "Virtual Reality" and "Augmented Reality". (It is descended from the NerveGear, an augmented reality system invented many years before the events of Accel World in Sword Art Online. That is right SAO fans...)
Virtual reality is more of an own created world, a network that everyone can use. Virtual reality will transport the users avatar in a local network where they can play many simulated games or to have a talk with other virtual avatars.
Augmented Reality is more of a specter reality, as example the "Brain Burst" game. The MMORPG elements that takes place in the real world but doesn't cause any damage in real world when they are fighting. Once activated with the Neuro Linker, it will take you to different places that are located in each district or prefecture in reality.
Wired Connection It is a very personal method of synchronization that is done by cable. If the wire is plugged in the Neuro Linker, then the two in who they are plugged in, can talk in secret. It is mostly used by lovers. This is also the only way Brain Burst can be Installed which is why the Giver and the Receiver of the Installation have a close bond. Not only because they are putting their one time installation hope on the person they are giving it to but also because they will both have to know each others real identities which can be dangerous. Not everyone plays fair and will try to get rid of the "Real" you so that the "Virtual" one will no longer exist.
In order to install the Brain Burst program, the person needs to be invited by another Burst Linker and be sent an invitation through the Neuro Linker. This can only be done once for each Linker, meaning that each one can invite only one player to the game. Even when the invitation fails, a different player can't be invited. There are some specific conditions for the installation to be completed successfully, which are having the Neuro Linker from birth and certain brain speed reaction. If all of the conditions are not met, then the installation fails.
A Burst Linker can Uninstall Brain Burst at any time but it can never be reinstalled again if they do so. If a player reaches zero points, it is game over and the program will uninstall itself. Some Healers of a high power lvl can save the person but it has to be with in an hour. No more. Any person that has Brain Burst Uninstalled can not remember any of game. There whole memory of it is wiped clean so that they may never be able to tell.

Physical Full Burst- This is only something a lvl 9 can do but it is extremely risky since it waste 99% of a Burst Linkers points making them extremely vulnerable afterwards. In Accelerated form, your consciousness moves at high rates making everything slow around you but in this last form your heart also increases so that you may move your actual body faster where as in a Burst Link your physical body cannot be moved. It is only to be used in EXTREME EMERGENCY CASES!
Judgement Blow- A special skill that can only be gained by becoming a Legion Master. Essentially being a one-hit move, it allows them to forcefully uninstall Brain Burst from a member of their legion. However, it can only be used at close range as it has a range of almost zero.
* On a side note, you do not have to be the same color of your King when joining a Legion though most do. Also, this brings up another topic which would be having no color at all. You can also choose to be a "Metal" type. I would also like to say that the Kings Dueling Avatar Names must start with Red,Yellow,Green,Blue,Purple,Black,White and the next word may be whatever they please (The only time this will change is if a King is killed and a new person takes their place). Everyone else, the color or type of your character must be your first word without using the Kings colors. It can be anything from another version of the main color, to things representing that color. Example: Maroon Sight Sand Trap Fern Fury Cerulean Dancer Amethyst Storm Starless Night Snow Angel Gold Fighter <--- Metal types will have the metal as the word before this is why they are rare because there can only be one of each metal where other colors have different names and representations
Red Type Red-colored Duel Avatars are generally characterized by strong long-distance combat abilities, and their Burst Linker's fundamental desire is the strength to reach faraway places. This often manifests itself in strong feelings towards the world around them.
Their names often take on the names things that move fast or that imply a slant towards ranged combat of some sort. Animal-type Avatars generally fit into this category because of their ability to span long distances in a short amount of time, even though they lack strong ranged combat traits.
Note that brown is generally either a dark red or a dark yellow. As such, some brown Avatars are in this category.
Yellow Type Yellow-colored Duel Avatars are characterized by strong indirect attacks, such as jamming and illusions. This likely results from their position between red and green on the light color spectrum; by utilizing missile jamming or illusions, for example, they are able to defend others even at a distance.
Green Type Green-colored Duel Avatars are characterized by high defense, and their Burst Linker's fundamental desire is the strength to protect those important to you.
Sometimes Healing Avatars appear in this color though rare.
Blue Type Blue-colored Duel Avatars are characterized by strong close-combat abilities, and their Burst Linker's fundamental desire is the strength to overcome one's obstacles through one's own might. This often manifests itself in strong feelings towards a single person.
Their names often take on the names of weapons or people or animals that are generally associated with melee combat.
Purple Type Purple-colored Duel Avatars are characterized by strong melee and ranged combat abilities, resulting in their position between blue and red on the spectrum; however, they sacrifice any kind of defense to do so. Not many purple-colored Avatars are known, but they tend to utilize mid-range weapons quite effectively.
Black&White Black and white appear to be special cases in the world of Brain Burst. Their specific traits are unknown though it appears that they have the ability to change her own characteristics at will.
In addition, there are some unique Avatars that have an Unknown color. This is a one in a million chance. Maybe even worse than that. Your Avatar would have to be made like water or glass.
Metal Type Metal colors are a special case in Brain Burst, and lie on their own "metal color spectrum". Each metal color is taken from a metal on the periodic table, and the Duel Avatar's characteristics will be that of the metal. They tend to lack weapons, but generally have decent defensive capabilities. They generally excel in unarmed combat.
Unlike the "desires" that define red, green, and blue-colored Avatars, a Burst Linker of a metal-color does not desire strength, but rather walls to protect one's heart from harm.
Again, an extremely rare case is flight. This is the worst odds ever that it would be possible.
*Note that any of the rare abilities I have listed will have to be asked for and even then I might not put them in to make things fair for everyone. It would take someone dedicated and with a very convincing profile.

Rules
I know this isn't everyone's favorite part but probably needs to be done. I don't have many of them but they are important to me.
My number one rule! If you don't follow the others perfect than no big deal but this one is important to me! COMMUNICATION. Seriously, I cannot stress this enough. I ask for communication because if you leave for a long period of time than I can set it up for you being gone without locking someone into waiting on you. This is a continuation from my first rule, please inform me when you will be absent for a long period of time. I am a patience and nice person so I understand that everyone has a real life. I want you to live it so I am not going to hound you but after a couple of days with not hearing a word than I start to worry about you. I care for the people I write with. It doesn't have to be long or detailed, just a "Hey, going to be gone for a few days or a few weeks" or "Hey, I will be gone for an unknown amount of time." That will protect your spot because I will get rid of characters that I think the player has abandoned. I will give warnings before that point but I will follow through if you done heed the warning. Let's put it this way, I have waited years for people just because they gave me an update. Updates go a far way with me.
Rule two: Just be respectful about not leaving others behind when writing a lot of posts close in a row. I usually do a two post rule with my group RPs so if you all like the idea let me know but otherwise, just be careful. Two post rule is that once you do your post, two other people must post before you can post again. I let this rule be bent when a push is needed or sometimes I let a it be bent if a important conversation actually needs a replied or reaction.
Rule three: Ask questions and give your ideas! This is your guys RP also! I want to hear what you have to say and I am more than happy to help on anything wither it be posts or opinions. I love hearing ideas and rolling with them or adding even more to them. I am easy going, honest, I don't bite!

I have given almost all the necessary Information so that you don't have to have seen Accel World to be a part in it. For SAO fans, this is many Generations after NerveGear but it is within the same world. This could be something new to try? Yes?
