I know I said I would post today, but I got so busy with other stuff. I can't promise anything, but I'll try my best to get a post in as soon as I can.

Nazo, the Enigma of the Yagami Clan, and Seisui, the Tranquil Lotus of the Mayonaka Clan — they both take a stance; they both ready for the start of the conclusion of the fight they have entered. Nazo is in the classic Iaido Stance. This is a stance that is both traditional as it is deadly. It is among one of the most revered and common stances a samurai can take. In the hands of a novice, it’s nothing, but with a master, it’s better than having unlimited chakra and techniques. For Nazo, it is the stance he uses when he is ready to end fights. It’s been so long since he has used it so many times in one battle. For Seisui, Nazo had noticed a shift in his stance. From what he could gather, the Mayonaka uttered the words Core Lotus. Nazo could decipher that this stance must be the grand-daddy of his style. Which means that Seisui is taking heed to what Nazo said about the kiddie gloves coming off. Nazo smiles at this realization.

With his Iaido stance in full effect, Nazo stands ready for what Seisui had to offer and boy did he offer something good. From in front of him, Nazo saw Seisui dashing towards him. In the seconds that followed, Nazo was already planning a counterattack. It would first be defensive, but eventually the force poured into this attack would be offensive, should it be successful, that is. This attack that Nazo used was one of his favorite defensive techs. ”Sanga Zanshu(Beheading of a Thousand Snakes)” Nazo said as Seisui’s blade came in. The seconds that elapsed from the Mayonaka’s initial dash to the point of contact between his and Nazo’s blade allowed the Yagami to flow his chakra into his blade and as he rushed it out of his scabbard, he slashed in all directions. This included horizontal, vertical, diagonal , and any other kind of direction. The result was multiple chakra sicles being thrown at Seisui’s blade. Eventually, the process would back off Seisui, but who know what Seisui would do in respond to this.

About Altered
Well, what is there to say about me? I'm a 24 year-old male who currently has no life(no job or college), so my time is definitely more open than most people my age. Of course, that is subject to change depending on what happens in the future. I have been roleplaying for on-and-off 10 years. The first four years it was purely chatroom roleplaying(back in the days of AOL Online). In 2008 I got into forum-based roleplaying and never looked back since.

While I do not like limiting myself to a certain level, I will say that my usual length is High Casual and above. As such, I expect my partner to be able to keep such a level. I don't want anyone to write a book, but at least 2 paragraphs of non-dialogue would be preferred. I understand that back-and-forth responses between singular characters is going to happen, so we can be casual there. However, for the more detailed bits, I would request at least 3 paragraphs as I will uphold these standards.

I am a guy who loves his mature content, but since my preferred way of doing roleplays is by thread, I will trust that my partners will use discretion and fade-to-black when the time comes. I want this to be more than a roleplaying experience. I want to be friends as well, so talking will be a requirement. If you feel that you cannot make that commitment, then I am not the partner for you. Now, whether or not you prefer OOC or skype is fine with me. I can do either or both.

While I would love to discuss beforehand about events that would happen in the RP, I also encourage spontaneous plot twists. By that I mean don't ask me for an approval. If you think it will be great for the story, then do it. If I don't like it, then I'll tell you. However, if it'll add a dynamic to the story and the characters, then I'll most likely love it. I would also like to state that if you're not feeling the chemistry or you don't feel like our styles don't mesh well together, then for the love of any deity that you believe in, TELL ME. I can't stress it enough how annoyed I get when partners don't tell me they don't think we mesh well. It's not only disrespectful to me, but it's also disrespectful to them as well. It's also a lot of time wasted that could have gone to something better.

When it comes to fandoms and pairings, I'm not totally against the idea of canon characters being present. Actually, I am all for that idea. The thing for me is that I don't like to play canon characters themselves, but I enjoy diving into the idea of being related to canon characters. It really is enjoyable thinking up of possible ideas when it comes to canon characters. As for pairings, it just depends I guess. I mean, I usually play a male, but I really don't mind playing the other gender. Another thing to keep in mind is that doubling up is preferred.

Sorry it took a little long. I intended to post in the evening, but writer's block caught me at the worst possible time. :<

Operation: X-Men

There was a moderate amount of time of silence. It happened first when Jack went to see if Alex was alright. Obviously he wasn’t and with the arrival of Chase, it seemed the proper thing to do was first go see X. That proved to be more or less eventful as she told them to take her Jeep and go to the ranch. Jack silently agreed to that. X could handle things on her own. Like, she does have the blood of Wolverine in her veins. So, the three boys did exactly that.

They all ran over to the Jeep and Chase took the wheel while Alex rode shotgun. Jack didn’t mind being in the back. It wasn’t like he was one to want to be in the front. The ride home was definitely more than a few moments of silence. Jack didn’t know how long it took to get back to the ranch, but what X said about leaving the ranch was definitely on the edges of his thoughts. He understood why they had to leave, but he just didn’t want to think about it, not at least until he knew everyone was at least conscious.

The Jeep came to a halt. Chase parked it in X’s usual spot and without any moments of haste, Alex hopped out and went over to the pool area where Annalise, Helena, and Will were at. By the time that Jack had got himself out of the Jeep, Chase and Alex were already at poolside. Jack quickly jogged himself over to the rest of them. He noticed that Annalise was hugging a somewhat-laid out Helena. Jack left them alone. It looked like they needed that moment. Meanwhile, Jack noticed Will, sitting up. Jack could admit that he was scared for Will’s health, even though he knew she was a tough one.

“Glad to see you’re doing alright Will.” Jack said patting Will on the shoulder.

After that, looked at the pool, then turned his glance over to Alex, then back to the pool. All in a minute, Jack just took this all in. He didn’t know what to make of today’s events. From the total shitwreck that was the road trip and the fight that followed, Jack was just trying to comprehend it all. Like seriously, all in a matter of hours, the mutants have lost their home. Well, not like it’s destroyed, but they have to leave cause of some idiots that decided to attack them for no reason.

“You know this really sucks.” Jack couldn’t help but be a little angry. Jack just sighed at this. “Yeah, so I guess we better start packing.” Jack chuckled just a bit.
