Do you think the reason Jesus Christ doesn't rise again is because we keep putting up crosses and he gets flashbacks on how that went last time?

Seeing Emiri blame herself and cry like she never had done before made Jaakuna just feel even worse, especially for slapping the bajeebers out of her. He had to. She wasn’t coming through from Nadeline’s pleas to have her come back to her or even when Jaakuna was yelling at her. So, slapping her was the only thing that made sense, at least at the time it did in Jaakuna’s mind.

When Emiri would say that all of what has happened is all her fault, Jaakuna just about lost it, but not in anger. No, he didn’t even get angry or was he even close to be. He knelt down on one knee, and pulled Emiri into a hug. “It’s not your fault okay? We’re in here just cause of that bitch called Curiosity. So don‘t go and saying shit like that okay?” Jaakuna said as he just held her there and let her cry it out. He didn’t know what else to do but just let it happen naturally.
What? That’s all she had to say! Jaakund didn’t even know where to begin. She had been so blanked out the entire time and that’s all she had to say was what? MY god, this woman had no idea what happened in the five minutes they have been in here. “What? Are you freaking kidding me? You’ve been zoned out for five minutes, nearly gave the both of us a heart attack. I mean goodness, if anything were to happen to you…” Jaakuna said getting up. He realized how much he felt for Emiri. There was no denying it. He loved her. She didn’t know that…yet as seen from her lack of, well reaction to everything. “I’m just glad you’re back with us.” Jaakuna simply said, helping Emiri up.

It was good that Nadeline and Jaakuna had entered a neutral zone, so to speak. Jaakuna was still a little shocked that he revealed such a thing and oh god Emiri! How was she going to react? A simple kiss from Jaakuna to her made her heart beat, and it made her all nervous like, but now, it would probably just push her over the edge or something like that. Speaking of which, Jaakuna was surprised that she said nothing. Jaakuna looked towards Emiri and she was in a ball, well curled up in one, but still. Instantly, Jaakuna went over to her, hoping to get a handle on what’s wrong with her.

As he had got to her, he noticed she wasn’t right in her mind or something like that. “Emiri!” Jaakuna shouted, and nothing happened. So he tugged her a bit. “EMIRI!” Nothing happened still. So, he started to shake her like a maniac. “EMIRI! EMIRI! EMIRI!” He yelled her name over and over, but still nothing. Jaakuna was getting scared. “Dammit woman, snap out of it.” Then Jaakuna did the unthinkable. SLAP! Yes, he slapped her clear across the face. Perhaps that would snap her out of it.
As Nazo's attack went in, Seisui met it head on with the clashing of blades reverberating through the forest. Then, as Seisui would slide/glide behind Nazo, he would go for a slash at Nazo's head. Noticing this within the time frame that Seisui slash was instigated, Nazo pointed his sword behind his head, thus blocking it effectively. It was again, a stalemate as both swords were steady against each other. Nazo simply spun his body in a 180 degrees turn and he slid his sword in a circular motion that would move Seisui's own sword down as the momentum that the Mayonaka had allowed it to do so. Nazo, then took his own sword and used as much force as he could to impale the Mayonaka. The time frame of dodging was very minimal.
Jaakuna didn’t want to say it. He had been running from his brother, his family, and his home for so long. He loved them all, but how could he possibly explain? He killed his own father and it wasn’t cause he didn’t get the throne? That was something he couldn’t admit to anyone, and yet, he almost felt compelled to blurt it out to Nadeline, to Emiri, and in some aspects, to himself. He had dealt with it within himself for the most part, but now as he argues with this woman, he finds himself overtaken by grief and regret. Even now, as she says these harsh words, Jaakuna finds himself in a place where he can’t cope, but he must hide that part at least.

When he heard Nadeline speak, he lost it. He lost it so much that he rushed over in a fast, angry walk to Nadeline, picked her up by her clothes and pinning placing her against the wall. “First, do NOT confuse my lack of caring for the empires for my feelings for Emiri. Her I love, the empires, I do NOT. “ Jaakuna said, revealing a rather stunning truth that he didn’t want to admit, at least not until he was ready, but it just sort of came out. As soon as he realized this, Jaakuna let Nadeline go gently. “I’m, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do that to you. I don’t know what came over me.” Jaakuna said as he walked to the door of the cell, just looking at it.

In some weird metaphorical way, the cell seemed to be fitting for him as this is how Jaakuna has been living — feeling, for the past three years. Ever since the death of his father, he felt like he belonged in a cell and he knew that eventually he would be in one. “You know, it’s funny. “ Jaakuna said smiling, turning to Emiri and Nadeline’s direction. “I did something — something bad, and I knew that eventually it would land me in a cell like this one..or worse. But, to be found out for trespassing is truly amusing. I just wonder how bad it would be if I were found out for murder..” Jaakuna stopped there. He couldn’t even bring himself to say it, let alone tell the two ladies about it. At least, not yet. He needed time to..well he doesn’t know what he needs time for, but he just knows right now isn’t the right time or place to do it.
Jaakuna was amused and a bit angry that this woman, Nadeline, actually thought Jaakuna was actually wrong in putting the blame on her. Perhaps he was slightly wrong, and perhaps what she said about Belias was true, but still. Jaakuna still believed that if Nadeline had never sought them out, if she had never showed them that book about the Tomb, Jaakuna wouldn’t be in this mess and he wouldn’t be arrested.

Jaakuna looked at her, getting in real close. He was tempted to hit her, but he didn’t. “Listen here, you little blonde bitch! I really don’t give a fuck about your empire or any of the shit they seek. I gave up caring about what either empire does a long time ago. “ Jaakuna said as he yelled right to her face. “The whole world could end tomorrow and I won’t care. Archadia could win, your precious Rozarrian Empire can win. Hell, Dalmasca could take the war, and guess what? No fucks will be given.” Jaakuna said turning away looking at the steel that made the cell. He punched the wall. “I simply don’t care..” Jaakuna said those words, but deep down he didn’t mean it. If someone was close enough, they could see tears forming at the edges of his eyes and the look in those very eyes were full of lies…and regret.
The situation was bad, but all Jaakuna could do was pace back and forth, hands on hips, and angry as all hell. Jaakuna didn’t want to say it, but he didn’t know how to get out of this mess and even worse it would seem they would be put on trial. One of many for Jaakuna, he knew that much. As he was pacing back and forth, Jaakuna didn’t really hear much, but he did hear Nadeline as if he must keep pacing back and forth. Jaakuna looked at her.

“Well, what do you expect I do? We’re stuck in here and it seems that we’re going to be put on trial. I mean, fucking shit! We’re only in this mess cause of you. YOU JUST HAD TO FIND OUT THE TRUTH OF RAITHWALL!” Jaakuna yelled as he stopped pacing and faced Nadeline. Jaakuna blamed her for the mess their in. They all would be happily in Rabanastre, undetected if Nadeline hadn’t sought them out.
This is a situation that Jaakuna didn’t want to be in. One, Jaakuna didn’t want to be arrested, so that’s always a downer. Second, Jaakuna didn’t like the idea of leaving his airship behind. This really sucked and Jaakuna didn’t know what to do. Then, he remembered that he had a transmitter of sorts that connected him to Iris. So, pressing it softly, Jaakuna spoke as clearly, but as quietly as he could.

“Iris, if you can hear me, slowly fly the Ifrit away from the Tomb. It seems that we have ran into some unforeseen trouble. Just keep in distance of the Valefor. I will alert you when we are able to get free.” Jaakuna said as quickly, clearly, and silently as he could.

Iris responded. “Yes master Jaakuna.”

Jaakuna heard Iris respond and now he, reluctantly surrendered as he and the two ladies went down the steps to the ground floor. When they got down, they were met by cuffs of sorts. They were actually magickal cuffs, but they were cuffs nonetheless. They were placed on their hands as their arms were in front of their bodies, somewhat weighed down by the cuffs.

Jaakuna, Emiri, and Nadeline were led to the end of the ground floor until they were led into the Valefor. They walked up the metal ramp and at the top of it was waiting someone special. Jaakuna regonized him instantly.

“Oh fuck. Welp, we’re screwed.” Jaakuna cursed as he was forced to walk by the soldiers that were guiding them all.

There stood a man who just expressed mystery and calmness all around him.

The man looked at them. “Ah, it would seem fate smiles upon me. The three who are charged with trespassing upon my ancestor’s resting place. I, Wesley Alexander, Royal Prince of Dalmasca and captain of the ship Valefor, welcome you. Wesley said as he motioned the soldiers to take the prisoners to cell block A.

“Oh and be sure to confiscate their weapons. “ Wesley said.

The soldiers took the four swords that Jaakuna had, though they forgot about the Dawn Shard. They also took Emiri’s Longsword, dagger, and her bow. They also took Nadeline’s Rapier and proceeded to escort them to the cell block.

Wesley walked to the room where the wheel to the airship was. “Set a course for Rabanastre. These three will be tried in a court of law.” Wesley said as the course was set and so it shall be.

Meanwhile, Jaakuna and the ladies were placed in the same cell together. “Well this sucks donkey ass! I can’t believe we got arrested.” Jaakuna said as he was just pacing back and forth and just complaining and complaining. He was not happy.
