Do you think the reason Jesus Christ doesn't rise again is because we keep putting up crosses and he gets flashbacks on how that went last time?

Hearing her say that she only heard the outbursts that Jaakuna and Savayna had back on the Ark. Jaakuna was half-relieved that’s all she heard, but that also meant that Jaakuna would have to tell her all of it. He wanted to tell her, especially after what has all happened between the two of them in the last twenty-four hours. Jaakuna would turn his body to face Emiri. He would take a deep breath, and he would just speak.

“Before I tell you what exactly happened with my father and I, you first need to know exactly what led up to it.” He said looking down and then back up. “Back when I was a young boy, I met the princess of a The two of us instantly clicked. Our families were good friends. Or rather, the royal family of Darcone--” Jaakuna paused. Saying that name put a sour taste in his mouth. ”--and the royal family of Glacie were well acquinted with one another. Politically, they supported together, helped each other to get to the highest point of their respective nations.” Jaakuna said as his voice almost seemed nostalgic. He never realized how much he really remembered and how much he really was an Archadian. It just hit him at the moment he started to speak. “The two families would get to a point where my family — mostly my father and grandfather — were planning a very secretive and back-stabbing plan to take over the land that belonged to the Glacie house. It was a brutal plan, but it did not go through. To prevent such a thing, my parents and her parents agreed to marry us. Unifying the two houses would deeply furthered the reach of the Archadian Empire in the north.” Jaakuna continued to speak.

As Jaakuna would soon realize how much his family were twisted, it angered him. Everything about how they operated and how they would go about things made him so angry right down to his very core. “Savayna and I got married. I was twenty-one and she was at the late-teen age of nineteen.” Jaakuna seemed to have a smile on his face. “I hate to admit it — especially to you — but this was at a time of when I was truly happy. At least, until now, of course. You see, Emiri, I was never a guy who never thought of settling down or even consider the notion of marriage.” He said laughing at how pathetic he sounded. “Even though my marriage to her was arranged, I made the most of it. And for two years, I actually found my happiness, but of course, everything changed one day.” Jaakuna’s voice got low again.

Jaakuna looked up as his head was down. He looked to Emiri, eyes gleaming of regret. “When my father called my brother, Vincent, and myself to his office, he was to appoint me as his heir, at least that’s what I thought. It would seem that he had other ideas. For some reason I never got to ask him, he named my little brother as his heir. I’m not going to lie, I really wanted to have the title of Emperor. I mean, it has a nice ring to it right? Emperor Jackson Tunick Darcone.” Jaakuna laughed, but it was one of pity for himself. “I asked him why, and without any warrant of reason, he stated cause I was married to a whore like Savayna. That I didn’t understand. Was there something I didn’t know about her? Or did my father really hate me that much? I fear I’ll never get to ask him.” Jaakuna couldn’t stop them from coming. Tears, flowing down from his eyes went down his face and onto his sheets. He would speak, but emotions were overtaking clear speech. “I punched my own father, and he fell to his death. I-I-I just don’t know what came over me. Maybe then, the reason I killed him was cause of my then feelings for Savayna, but now, I just..I don’t know.” At this point, Jaakuna hit his bed with both of his fists as they were in a position similar to how people play Rock-Paper-Scissors.

Jaakuna had finished telling the story. After a minute of pounding his bed, Jaakuna spoke. “So now you know the whole story.” Jaakuna pity laughed at himself. “If you want to leave, I wouldn’t blame you.”
Jaakuna would take her silence as a yes as Emiri would lay down on the bed. It would seem that there’s more on her mind than just the bad dream that she just woke up from. Jaakuna would meet her gaze as he laid down beside her. She would place her arm over her eyes as if she was trying to get something out but it was hard for her to do so. After a moment or so, she would ask him a question and boy was it one for the money. She would ask Jaakuna if he really did kill his father for Savayna. Right about then, Jaakuna’s heart began to race, pumping faster than it ever did before. He knew this was going to come along since yesterday. He knew she heard when he and Savayna talked about it.

As Jaakuna breathed in deeply, he would exhale that breath. “I guess you heard huh?” What a stupid response. Of course she heard and even worse, she knew it all. Well, at least the initial parts. What she didn’t know was the ‘what’ and ‘why’. She only knew the base fact of it all. Jaakuna was starting to sweat, but he turned his head to meet Emiri’s eyes. “Yeah, I killed him for Savayna, but..”He said, pausing. “..you don’t know the whole story behind it.” Jaakuna said. His voice was distant and full of regret. Or at least something like that. Jaakuna sat up. As he did that, he turned his head to Emiri. “How much of it did you hear?”
When Emiri started to tell him what her dream was about, it first started to make sense. Granted, Jaakuna hated that she was going through this and that her nightmare had Grant in it, but it still made sense. However, as she would tell him the rest of it, Jaakuna began to raise an eyebrow and began to become puzzled. Why would she have a nightmare about Jaakuna killing her? Or a better question that Jaakuna must ask himself is why would he be depicted as the villain and not the hero? This was definitely something that perplexed Jaakuna.

Jaakuna looked at her, confused as all hell. By this point, she had put her head between her knees. Jaakuna would place a hand on her leg as if to just comfort her. “Listen, whatever it was — it was a dream and nothing more. “ He said as he proceeded to lift her head up gently. He would kiss her once. “Yesterday was a stressful day for us all. It’s no wonder that you had such a bad dream, but you have to know it was just that, okay?” He said kissing her once more. After a few moments of that, Jaakuna would look at her. “Let’s go down to the kitchen, okay?” Jaakuna said. “Or we can stay in bed for a while longer.”
The words from her mouth were one thing, but Jaakuna just had this gut feeling that there was more to what she was saying that she was leading on it to be. Jaakuna didn’t know how to explain it, but he just felt it so. Though Jaakuna wants to address his concerns, he won’t. He’ll just prepared for the worst. However, as she would, by what Jaakuna saw, grabbed her knees, Jaakuna definitely was reassured that something definitely was wrong. “You want to talk about it?” Jaakuna asked as he could not stay silent about it after all.
Suddenly, without even so much of a warning, Emiri woke up, but there was more to that. She would pretty much rush to a sitting-up position. This would prompt her to be released from Jaakuna’s grasp and vice versa. It was safe to assume that Jaakuna was shocked at the surprise that Emiri had presented. He would look at her as he would also sit up, and it seemed like she just woke up from a bad dream or something. Jaakuna would see that her hands were shaking.

“Emiri, what’s wrong?” Jaakuna would ask, He had this weird idea that Emiri woke up from such a bad dream, but Jaakuna didn’t have the slightest clue of what it was about or how it would even make her feel so shakey as it obviously is right now.
A moment that seemed like it could last forever, both Jaakuna and Emiri held each other in their arms. They both would stay like this until they would eventually fall asleep, more so Jaakuna than Emiri. This was because Jaakuna was so exhausted from the day’s events that he just couldn’t keep his eyes open any longer. It would lead him to not hold Emiri in such a tight embrace. The release of the tightness would motion Jaakuna to turn on his back and he would lay peacefully as he would sleep, knowing tomorrow’s events will probably either have slowness to it or they will be just as eventful as the day’s past had been.
Morning came to Ivalice, the sun shining down on all parts that allowed it to. Though every viable place would welcome sunlight, it would not be all sunshine and bunnies in one portion of the world of Ivalice. Within Archadia the tension was so intense that one cold cut it with a plastic knife. Though some aspects of the previous day’s events were highly rewarded by Emperor Vincent, there were just some things that he couldn’t overlook. There one that really angered to no degree was the betrayal of Savayna. After Rozarria had sent word, Vincent nearly lost his cool in the night. He was cursing up a storm, and just everything about it made him realize that how much he really valued Savayna as a subordinate. However, he simply couldn’t overlook this, not anymore.

In his office, the sun beaming down upon it, the position of the sun could give away the time of day. It was pretty early in the morning, not even past eight O’Clock. In the room, aside Vincent, who sits in at his desk, are Judge Magister Isaiah Ixion Darcone and Judge Magister Brandon Bahamut Ira Darcone. All three members of the house Darcone that currently reside in Archadia are present and things were about to get nasty on the planning stages.

“Dearest cousin, and respected grandfather, you both know why I have requested both you to meet me here.” Vincent would state as he sits at his desk and his cousin and grandfather stand left to right of another respectively.

Opening his mouth, Hamut speaks. “My grandson, your whore of a general has yet again failed you. Have you no shame?” Hamut speaks bluntly.

“Whoa, Grandpa, let’s not throw blame games around. We should have known this was coming. She, is after all, in leagues with the disgraced prince.” Ixion offered up, hoping to sort of calm whatever angle his grandfather was going for.

Hamut looked towards his grandson with a somewhat angry look. “Have you no shame either, Isaiah? Bringing up HIS name in front of his majesty?” Hamut barked.

Isaiah really didn’t take it into account. “I’m sorry Grandfather.” He said with an apologetic tone.

Vincent cleared his throat, signaling the both of them to cease their bickering. “This is not why I have summoned the two of you here. We must address the matter of Savayna betrayal and the unfortunate actions that must be taken.” Vincent spoke as he stood up from his desk. “Due to the lack of results we’re getting from our truce with the Rozarrian Empire, I have already made up my mind that the truce between our two empires has no more benefits.” Vincent spoke.

Hamut, shocked at what his grandson had just said, spoke his piece. “My grandson, do you really think that this is wise of you to do? Think of the advantages we get from that truce.” He spoke, almost pleading with his grandson to reconsider.

Vincent smiled and laughed a bit. “Grandfather, you misunderstand my words. I said I have made up my mind about the matter, but I said not anything of informing them about my decision.” He said smirking. “Please, Grandfather, give me more credit than what you just did.”

Hamut smiled and was a little surprised at how underhanded his grandson truly was. “My apologies.” He simply said.

Vincent nodded and would proceed to other matters. “Now, we must shift our focus to some other pressing matters. “ He said closing his eyes and then reopening them as he proceeded to walk around his desk and in front of it, stopping dead center. “In yesterday’s events, we gained an esper, but lost two. We must evaluate what must be done about this.” He said.

Before Isaiah would get the opportunity to speak, Hamut would go first. “Do not worry my grandson, we will claim the most espers. I will see to it personally that we acquire them before anyone else doe.” Said Hamut vowing to get more espers than anyone will get the chance to.

Vincent smiled and believed his grandfather’s words. “Very good. Now, I dismiss you two. I must do deep thinking about today.” He said as the two judges would be dismissed.

As they would leave, Vincent turned to face the balcony. He would take ten paces, walking around his desk, and stepping out onto the balcony. Staring at the city of Archades, Vincent breathed in and out. He would just do this for a few times over until his body was a calm center free of anything negative. Then he would place his hands on the edge of the balcony and then would look down. Vincent couldn’t place it, but he felt like the people down below, walking, driving, and going about their days..”Insects. All of them.” Vincent’s face grew with much displeasure and disgust. He wanted to just kill every last one of them, but Vincent couldn’t and in all honesty, he really wasn’t angry at them, but rather the betrayal the Savayna had done. It hit him harder than he’s willing to admit. However, Vincent must put on a brave man’s face and keep on truckin.

As Vincent would walk back inside, he would sit at his desk just waiting for whatever things to come later in the day to arrive already.
On the Ifrit, morning sun shined upon the ship. The wonderful feeling of waking up would inhabit every single person. It would be felt from those in the barracks to Jaakuna and Emiri in Jaak’s room, it would especially be welcomed upon those two. They had spent the night together and as one Jaakuna would wake up, he would feel refreshed and he would see that Emiri was clinging to him..literally. Her legs wrapped around his right leg, and arms on his chest. Jaakuna also found his arms holding her as well. Jaakuna just kept the position as he didn’t want to wake her up. Plus, he just wanted to stay in this position as long as he could.

Tamer

Name: Carlos “Trip” Rodriguez
Age: 16

Appearance:

Personality:
Some could say that Trip is modest, humble, and gentle. They are right about all of those things. His ideals are not large ones, but they are his own. People think that because he looks the way he does it means that he is rough around the edges and no compassion, but that’s quite the opposite. He’s full of love, compassion, and most of all, kindness. However, he’s very insecure about a lot of things, mainly about his physical appearance and how people assume a lot of things. Some could even say that Trip sometimes hides his true self in fear that people will take advantage of him, which sometimes they actually do that.

In the company of his family and friends, Trip is reserved. He holds himself at bay for any type of conversation, and he’s not good meeting strangers. Easily frightened and often insecure about meeting new people. Again, that’s where the insecurity comes to play. He’s even shy around his family sometimes. He feels as if they don’t truly understand him. He often feels alone and frightened by change and anything that is related to change. His family notices it and they try to bring him out of his shell, but they fail almost every time.

Despite all of this, Trip has a very gentle soul and he shows that when he’s around animals or when he’s doing things that he loves to do. For example, when he’s writing his poetry or listening to music, he doesn’t become loud and vocal. He’s as quiet as can be and makes sure he’s respectful. Like, seriously; his guy is so insecure about being around people, and drawing attention to himself. So, he’s not going to do something that would otherwise prompt people to notice him any more than they have to. He mainly listens to teen-angst punk music, sappy pop-punk, and instrumentals of his favorite anime.

Partnered to: Liollmon

Backstory:
Being born into the Spanish, Islamic, Greek, Canadian, Mexican, and Argentinean heritage, it’s no surprise that Trip has a big family. His mom, born of the name Ashley Gabrielle Montoya, has roots of Spanish, Canadian, and Greek within her blood. His dad, born of the name, Carlos Rex Shuki Rodriguez, has roots of Islamic, Mexican, and Argentinean within his blood. The combined effort had thus created Trip, who’s birth name is actually Carlos, but he chose the name Trip because he didn’t want to be just another kid in a Mexican country. It’s weird, but he finds pride that he is different.

Along the years, he grew up in Mexico City, Mexico. Now, one can assume that it really wasn’t that good of a childhood with the Drug Cartel always causing murders here and murders there. Trip just ignored it like anybody should. He didn’t want to get involved so that’s why he just adapted the shy persona he became known for. Sadly, this is also what led to a lot of unhappy birthdays. Even though he put on a happy face, he was unhappy for a lot of days.

Digimon

Name/Species: Popomon

Appearance: see rookie form

Personality:
Liollmon is a curious, protective, and very stubborn digimon. He will explore till his little heart is past content and he will do so to every data of his being. He's a lion-like Digimon/cat, so the curious nature will take full charge, and because he is a lion-like digimon, his protective instincts are off the charts. He will always protect either what is his or those he cares about the most. He will never waver and the fighting spirit he has within himself will always lead him to protect his possessions. Of course, his fighting spirit might also make him come off as stubborn. Sometimes, that's not a bad thing, but it can be. Just cause he won't ever back down, this could mean in a variety of ways. If there's a point he's trying to get across, he won't back down. He will also never let anything go. That's how his stubbornness comes into play in a negative way.

As he will evolve, his personality will alter just slightly. As Liamon, his protective instincts are more dominant, but he also becomes a little more aggressive. Don't think just cause he is aggressive that his judgment is clouded. He will defend his friends right down to every data within his being. He is more violent in his champion form, but that's cause he doesn't want anyone to harm his friends. Now, that's where his stubbornness comes into play. He will keep on going even if he is injured. Sometimes, that can obviously be a bad thing, but to him he sees it as being strong.

As LoaderLeomon, not much really changes. He remains protective, stubborn, and just overall like a lion. The main difference is a sense of justice comes into his being. It's not dominant, but it's still there, and as is his unwavering fighting spirit.

When in his mega form, BanchoLeomon, he is vastly different. Arrogance sometimes takes charge, but ALWAYS a righteous sense of justice takes residence and in the most dominant of ways. By the blade he weird, BanchoLeomon judges those who have done wrong and by his blade they will be judged. He will use this sense of justice either based on what digimon do or if they threaten his friends. He will protect them with his life and everything that he is will go into stopping any threats to them. This is how his stubbornness gets transformed into a righteous sense of justice and this time it's actually a good thing.

Backstory:
Liollmon doesn't remember much before he became Friimon. He remembers leaving the Village of Beginnings, but that's about it. He has been wondering alone ever since. He has just been trying his best to survive for as long as he could in hopes he would find something or someone to fight for with all that he is.That's really all he wants. If he can somehow get that, Liollmon would truly be happy. Until then, however, Liollmon will just do what he must to survive, fending off other digimon from taking what he needs to survive or whatever it is they will try to come after. He will just do what he must and that's pretty much all there is to it.

The kiss, for what it seemed like it lasted longer than it has already gone on for. Jaakuna took her, kissing her, holding her, embracing her. He kept her in his strong arms, not wanting to let go. His arms wrapping around her body, around her back and pulling her as close as it was physically possible. He was remembering that dream or not dream. It was more of a goal. He was imagining going to bed next to her every night and waking up next to her in the morning. He was imagining every possible thing they would do together, be it sexual or nonsexual. It was just the notion of being with her and having a life with her that made him truly at peace in this moment.

He would keep kissing her for a few more moments and then he would just pull away, but he would not release her. He would just hold her and never want to let go. “I remember Emiri — I remember that dream.” He simply said as Jaakuna, for the first time, was crying, but this was a happy cry. Even as he would say those words, they would come out as slight stuttering from his tears of emotional happiness overflowing his speech.
When Emiri would climb into his bed, Jaakuna would scoot over just a tad to allow her plenty of room to lay. The two of them were so close, however, that Jaakuna could feel, hear, her heart beating. Added to that, Jaakuna could see the redness upon her face. Jaakuna couldn’t help but smile at her cause of her redness. It was a sleepish smile as he was minutes away from falling asleep.

Whether it would be cause of impulse or just the moment being right, Jaakuna brought Emiri close with his arms. He was clinging, cuddling her. It was and it wasn’t forceful. Definitely something weird about it. Jaakuna just knew the moment was right and he felt it down to his core. They were so close that their bodies were touching. It was by this point Jaakuna kissed Emiri on her beautiful lips. It was magical, it was wonderful, and from this moment on, it simply would be written in history as the moment Jaakuna threw everything but his heart out of the window. Nothing about what he did was wrong and everything about it felt right. Even as they were kissing, in his mind, Jaakuna was remembering that dream — or whatever it was. He was remembering the life they had as a marriage couple. Perhaps Jaakuna is realizing he sees a future with this woman.
Jaakuna would laugh at how red she got, but he was so worn out, Jaakuna couldn’t even find the strength to pull out so much of a single chuckle. It’s to be expected, though. Jaakuna has been through a lot in the last ten to twelve hours and the amount of trauma he has been through is amounted to his willpower. To be able to survive that much and still be able to keep his eyes open is something that any warrior should respect. Though, Jaakuna has more than just his life to live for. The woman at his bedside is one of the main reasons he fought so hard to stay in the living realm.

Still looking to Emiri, Jaakuna’s eyes were all the answer that she would need. He was sure of it. “It’s the only thing I want right now.” He said quietly but loud enough for her to hear.
