Do you think the reason Jesus Christ doesn't rise again is because we keep putting up crosses and he gets flashbacks on how that went last time?

When Grant spoke and accepted her apology, Savayna actually was glad that he did. Then, he would also apologize about not responding to Savayna's admission to him. He wanted to do it in private and away from Wesley and Nadeline. Savayna was so relieved to hear that. It wasn't just cause that he actually wanted to address it and not brush it off, but the fact that he wanted to do it just with her made her feel happy of sorts. However, she did know that they had to talk about this seriously; though she had no idea how to bring it up without feeling nervous or awkward.

They continued down the direction that they were going, the silence continued for a minute or so, and she would speak. "So, uh, how do you--I mean, what do you feel about it?" She nervously asked.
When Nadeline admitted that she was relieved that they left, Wesley was semi-happy to hear that. He let out a very relieved, yet nervous laugh. He also didn't want to sound horrible for being glad that they were gone. The fact that both of them were laughing meant that they were thinking the same exact thing. Hearing her also say that she preferred it this way, Wesley nodded in agreement. He couldn't think of any other way for the night to proceed than how it is going along right now.

Wesley kept looking at her and he spoke. "So, shall we order our dinner then?" Wesley said letting the remaining laughs fade off.

Not long after that happened, Dominic came back. "So, are you two ready to order now?" He asked.

Wesley laughed, "Yeah, I think we are." He said. Wesley looked to the Menu just once more to get the specifics of what he wanted. "I'll have the Seared Chocobo Breasts and the salad with a tomato vinaigrette." He said.

"Very well then." Dominic said jotting it down on his paper pad. "And for the miss?" He said.
There was an awkward silence for about a few minutes. WEsley and Nadeline couldn't help but stay silent for those few minutes. It would soon end however. Grant would look to Savayna and her to him. He would simply stand up and utter the two words 'let's go' as he beckoned her to follow him. Downing the drink that she just got, she followed him, waving goodbye to Wesley and Nadeline.

Wesley looked to Nadeline slightly confused and nervous, but relieved. For some reason the two of them leaving actually was a good thing for both pairs. It meant that Wesley and Nadeline could enjoy their date without anything else interrupting it. Like, without any other negative vibes. And also, it was good for Grant and Savayna. They could finally all talk it out, and either put whatever is between them to rest or start whatever is between them. Now, as they sat across from each other, Wesley would smile. "So, I guess we're alone now." He smiled still, "Let's get our food now, shall we?" He said looking down at his menu.

Meanwhile, Grant and Savayna were walking down the street. Savayna didn't know how to approach this. She couldn't possibly know what Grant was feeling or what she could say. Maybe she should just apologize. Yes, that sounded like a good idea. "I-i--" She began to speak, but her breath was short. "Um, I'm sorry, bout...well everything. And you're not a meanie or a pussy or a pervert." And there she was, apologizing. She didn't know why she was, but anything was better than the silence that plagued the air. Savayna just looked down, arms locked at her center.
Both Nadeline and Wesley seemed to have persuaded Savayna and Grant to come back to the table. Though, when they all walked from outside and the bathroom respectively, eyes were all on Savayna, Nadeline, Grant, and Wesley. Though none of them quite the dirty looks, there were some raised eyebrows and some whispers here and there. Anyone with a perfect set of ears could hear them just whisper things like "Look it's them", "What's up with them?", and "Who are they?". Savayna would just ignore them. She had much more important things to focus on. She would heed what Nadeline said about just letting the previous topic slide for now and Grant and Savayna can talk about it privately.

As they all were at the table, Grant seemed determined to get wasted or at least, drowning whatever emotion he was feeling in copious amount of alcohol. Wesley made a note of it, but Savayna wouldn't mention it. Instead, she would join Grant in that endeavor. "Waiter! Get me some Whiskey neat, and make it a double please." Savayna said, as the waiter would, in minutes, bring her a drink. She, like Grant, downed that in seconds. She wasn't competing with him, but she was just as...well angry(maybe) at him or at herself. "Gimme another." She yelled out and thus the drinks would keep on coming and coming.

Wesley could only watch in slight discomfort as Dominic would come with their apps. "Um, guys — the apps are here." WEsley nervously said.

Savayna looked over quickly. Wesley snapped back. "WOO-HOO!" Savayna yelled out as Dominic would set the plates down.

The waiter would then speak. "What would you lot have for your Entree course?" Dominic asked.

Wesley looked at the menu. "Come back in five and we'll tell you." He told Dominic.

"Very well then sir." Dominic said as he took his leave.

As Dominic left, Wesley would look to Nadeline and then to his menu. After looking at it slightly, he looked back to Nadeline with an apologetic look. 'Sorry this was the worst first date ever." Wesley said, apologizing to Nadeline
Did Nadeline really believe that what she said to Grant was just another way to make him feel bad? Savayna really didn't know how to respond to that. She was as serious as she is that she's a female. Savayna meant what she said. Though, Savayna does have to agree that her and Grant did need to sit down and talk this out. It would do no one good if either of them just keep on dodging it. Sure, it just happened, but maybe what they both needed was to just clear all of it out so there wasn't any confusion or misunderstandings.

She looked at Nadeline, and spoke. "I agree, we do need to sit down, but it wasn't a misunderstanding. I meant what I said to him. Ugh, but why did I even have to have these feelings?" She would let out an 'oh my god' groan. Throwing her hands up in the air, she would face the opposite direction and began to pace back and forth, and all the while she would speak. "I mean, come on! It's all his fault you know. He just had to toss me up in the air when we all were playing Chicken Fight and then catching me in his arms like I was his woman or something." She went on and on while still going back and forth. "I spent the entire day giving him such a hard time, so why the hell do I feel so strongly about him? ARGH!" She let out another loud groan.
When Grant spoke, he would try his best not to chuckle, not even in the slightest bit. It was hard though. Grant didn't know the kind of woman Savayna was and even though he hasn't known her for very long, he had observed her behavior and he had gathered that she does show kindness, but in very aggressive ways. Maybe Grant hadn't caught onto that. Or maybe he was so lost in confusion that he couldn't see it clearly. Wesley would try his best to at least persuade Grant to just let her explain.

Letting Grant finish speaking, Wesley would then talk. "As i have said, Savayna is very aggressive and can be violent at times. Maybe she didn't know how to say it. When we were waiting for the food to come to our table, Nadeline and I caught onto something was eating her up. " Wesley said scratching his head, "Maybe the two of you should sit down and talk about it. I don't know if anything will come of it, but maybe doing that will make things a little better. At the very least, maybe your confusion about the matter will actually ease up somewhat." Wesley said, unsure whether or not it would work. However, he did want Grant to at least give Savayna the chance to explain herself.
When Nadeline spoke, Savayna's eyes widened, even though there were still tears falling from them. Though, by the time Nadeline had finished, she managed to get them under control. Though, the words of which she spoke, Savayna disagreed with some of them. "You're wrong. I am a whore. I slept with both Princes of Archadia and I spent the latter half of my teenhood sleeping around just to prove a point." She said,"Yeah, maybe expecting Grant to say anything was too much, but what else was I supposed to do? I pretty much outed my feelings to him and now I feel so fucking stupid for even saying anything." She said, realizing that her tears didn't stop. Much like the happiness inside her, the tears kept on falling and falling. Though, in response to what Nadeline said of what her mother said, Savayna got a few words out. "And him sipping his water was what? Him just ignoring it all." Savayna was just dumbfounded on what to do at this point.
Wesley was thankful that Grant stopped to at least hear him out, though Grant did most of the talking as he would state how he was punched, teased, insulted, and just about everything that could tick off someone. Wesley chuckled. "Grant, didn't you ever have someone crush on you when you were a kid? This is how it was. They would tease you, insult you, and sometimes even physically hurt you." Wesley felt bad for Grant, though. "Savayna is, well she's a little aggressive, but trust me when I tell you this that is serious in all of this." Wesley said, "If you want to know how serious she is, just go ask Jaakuna. If anyone knows how Savayna is when it comes to feelings, he would know, they are ex-wife and ex-husband after all." Wesley continued, "Though, now that begs the question..How do you feel about all of this? Even more importantly, how do you feel for Savayna?" Wesley asked, slightly raising his right eyebrow.
Jaakuna was thoroughly surprised that Emiri agreed to the late-night skinny dipping session, but he did see the look on her face as she would turn red and turn away as he would lead her to the lake. In minutes, their clothes were off and inside the lake they went. The water had a perfect balance of cold and warm. It felt so nice and Jaakuna would run his head underneath the water to get his hair wet and as he came up, he saw Emiri just staring at him. The way the colors from the magicite looked and the gleaming moon shined upon her body, Jaakuna was just breathless. And then he kissed her, taking his hands on her head and he tilted his head slightly to the side and locked his lips to hers. If there was ever the perfect moment to kiss her, it would be now. The skies are dark, stars lighting up said skies, moon shining light upon the night, and the dragonflies still around. It was something straight out of a sappy romance novel and Jaakuna was embracing every bit of the moment as much as he could.
“Who says anything about clothes?” Jaakuna winked, obviously he wasn’t meaning for them to wear clothes. Though, maybe at what Jaakuna said it and the way he said it wasn't exactly clear, but he was trying to lure her to the lake. With no one around, it's not like that they would get caught or anything. Besides, Jaakuna felt being a little naughty. "It's not like anyone is around to find us out." He said winking.
Wesley couldn't believe what kind of mess this turned out to be. First it was all fun and giggles, but now it just sucked. Savayna called Grant a meanie, he walked off, well not after letting Nadeline have an earful of what he really was thinking. He would go on to state that he'd been hit, kicked, made fun of, humiliated, and all in one day. Wesley couldn't help but feel bad for Grant. For some reason, Wesley blamed himself for this slightly. He would at least try to fix it. So, he would also get up, but he would go after Grant.

As SAvayna found herself crying and she noticed Nadeline walked in. She tried her best to wipe her tears, but a woman like Nadeline would automatically notice them. Savayna couldn't hide them either. She looked to Nadeline, hands on the counter. "I-I don't know. I just told a guy that I liked him and he didn't say nothing, not even rejecting them." She said as a self-pity laugh came out. "Maybe expecting anything to come from Grant's mouth was too much. He is, after all, a prince, and I'm just the Whore of Archadia." She again, found herself laughing at her own self of how pathetic she sounded.

Meanwhile, Wesley caught up with Grant just outside the restaurant. "Grant! Wait a minute!" Wesley yelled out as he would try his best to stop Grant. "What's going on?" He asked concerned for his friend.
I could have sworn I did earlier. I guess I didn't, but it's there now. And ofc I like ya guys. <3
He really had nothing to say about it, about what she said? Like nothing at all? WHAT THE FUCK! She was livid with him right now. Truly, she wished she hadn't apologized for punching him cause she really wanted to punch him, kick him, choke him out — just something to get her anger out. Seriously, was he not even going to acknowledge that he heard her. Savayna didn't even know what to say or do. She wanted to kill him, but yet, as she looks upon his face, she gets all flustered. She could feel something stirring around inside her. She really didn't want to make the mistake of punching him and ruin any chance of actually being with him, but seriously? She just can't get over the fact that he said nothing.

She looked at him, took a hold of his water, took it away from him, and looked at him once more. "Are you seriously not going to say anything?" She said sternly. "You knew something was wrong, so obviously you care enough to ask, but when you get the answer, you don't even want to address it." She said as she huffed and puffed. "Ugh, you're such a big meanie!" She said as she got up from her seat and went to the ladies room.

Meanwhile, Wesley looked to Nadeline and a low whistle came from his mouth. If that wasn't a big 'fuck you' to Grant, then Wesley didn't know what was. Wesley spoke to Nadeline. "Uh, maybe you should go check up on her." Wesley said quietly.
When Jaakuna had spoke about going back home someday and showing Emiri his it and actually showing her it. Not like before when they were there as prisoners. He wanted to shower her with the glories of what it is like to be an Archadian. He wanted to show her that Archades is called one of the best cities of Ivalice for a reason, he wanted to show her what he once called home. He wanted to show her his roots and what became the foundation of who he is in the here and now. As he would think about all of that, Emiri would tell him that she wanted to show him something.

As Emiri would lead Jaakuna to somewhere, they would soon find themselves at a lake with a fountain in the center and there were several dragonflies flying and flapping their tiny wings above the lake. Their bodies would reflect from the colors of the magicite in the lake. the dragonflies would take on hues of all colors. It was such a marvelous sight to behold. Jaakuna was so amazed by all of this. He knew that Stigma had marvelous things about it, but truly he's seeing that this city does have things that Archades could never have.

Jaakuna looked to Emiri with a rather michevious grin. "Wanna take a dip?" He smiled, somewhat tugging at her near the lake.
In the ladies room, Savayna had walked in, huffing and puffing. She was so angry at Grant and she didn't know why. Maybe the fact he said nothing really hurt her more than she thought it would. Perhaps him saying nothing really meant a lot. She would look into the mirror, tears slowly forming, but she would wipe them away before anyone who walked in would see. She then looked at herself in the mirror. "Who are you kidding? He's a freaking prince and you're just the whore of Archadia. Even Jaakuna wouldn't stick around for you." As she looked at herself in the mirror, she felt insignificant to the likes of Nadeline and Emiri. The two of them are both happy and here Savayna was, thinking that a Prince of Rozarria would fall for her.
