When Juliette gave up the reasoning of why she was ranked so high, Ryu couldn't help but wonder if that was truly what she thought. Given that the academy was for those of special talents, maybe it was hers that allowed her to get a high ranking. Ryu could be wrong on that. Maybe it was as she stated and was merely for her acedemics, but there was something about that reasoning that made Ryu doubt it. Not her, but just that general reasoning overall.

When she leaned forward, Juliette would return Ryu's initial interest with her own and stated that him being ranked third was no feat to be overlooked. Ryu smiled and let out a slight chuckle, as if embarrassed somewhat. Though, she did bring up a really good point and she was correct in saying that he was talented. Not that Ryu would openly admit it since he's somewhat modest in that way, but he does know at least that's skilled in an unique way. "I thank you for your kind words, but the fact still remains that I'm B-rank." Ryu said, stating the obvious. "I would very much like to know more about you, Juliette-chan." Ryu said, eyes sternly locked on hers as if not wanting to break contact for any reason whatsoever.

All these RPGs getting canned right out of the gate (from what I'm seeing) is making me feel really unsure of staying on RPG.

Perhaps you just are joining the wrong rps. Or the wrong GMs are in charge. Sometimes a change in management could go a long way in the right direction.

Honestly, I have no interest in this case or what people do. At the end of the day, it's their life and their city that they want to burn down, so why should words of one man matter? I will, however, say that while I think some are entitled to protesting, those who are just using this as an excuse to loot stores should be ashamed of themselves. Plot
It's the last day of school and the horizon of Summer Break appeals to them. They both have been awaiting this day all year and now it has arrived. A full three months of relaxation. Even though the aspect of summer homework looms in their minds, the final moments of school will be all what they can focus on and blissful months to come. Little do they know that off in the very near future, they will come across something that will change both of their lives forever and set them on a path to discover answers.

Personality:
Viewed as the unstable one of his group of friends, Jaakuna is that one kid that is often acting out in class and also the one who gives the teacher a tough time. He's also one to have spontaneous and quite impulsive actions guide him and not reason. On the subject of his spontaneity, Jaakuna would most likely bring up an activity that would either involve danger to those he invites to get in it or jailtime as most likely said activities will be illegal. His impulses usually are the result of his spontaneity and as such, get him into trouble. It does seem like all of his actions will get him into trouble. Jaakuna knows this and yet he still does it. He does not know why. Jaakuna lives by the motto "You only Live Once", which essentially he takes a "fuck it" mentality to everything that he does. Though while that may be true, Jaakuna does care for his friends and while it might not always seem like he does the smartest things, his heart is full of love and compassion and he will do anything to protect them.

Personality: Resourceful... that's the first word that comes to mind when speaking about Avalon. He's always thinking about the current situation, and planning out ways to make his, and his friends day better even in the worse situation with what little he may have at the time. A very intelligent teen who tries to keep his cool in all situations to avoid panic. Though in a case where he is completely taken off guard he has been known to completely have a mental breakdown rendering him useless from time to time. He likes to think he can outmaneuver any situation or enemy if given enough time thus making him a bit overconfident from time to time as well. With that said in no way does Avalon see himself as a leader, and rather much prefers to be a follower usually saying that a leader is one who is willing to sacrifice all they are to protect while he believes one should aim to protect themselves as well to keep protecting those they care about.

Aside from the on-going discussions being heard within the room, Ryu felt that the only words he really cared to hear were that of from Juliette, who had just pretty much asked him if she could be of any assistance. Ryu concluded that she was meaning about his staring at her. It took him a few seconds, and he shook his head slightly, as if trying to gather himself. Remaining silent for only a few seconds longer, Ryu spoke. “Oh I’m sorry.” He said briefly, “I didn’t mean to stare, but I saw that you’re the only one out of all of us that is an A-rank.” Ryu said still slightly red, “I’m intrigued.” He said.

Ryu knew that what he probably was saying sounded creeper-ish. He didn’t want it to come off as that way. He truly found Juliette interesting. If not for the fact that she was the only one to be an A-rank, then perhaps it was the way that she presented herself and the way that Ryu’s first impression of her was. He just couldn’t explain it, but there was a definite intrigue from him to her. Whether it would be received back the same way was unknown to him.
