Current you know, my SO never forces me to say a thing that's on my mind and doesn't mind if I don't always explain myself which makes it way easier to actually tell them stuff. boundaries good.

as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

I swear I'm trying to work on it. I'm going to be honest, however, and mention I'm really burnt out on writing for this. Not dropping the RP levels of burnt out, but more burnt out in the sense of 'Okay, I have this idea, now how do I put said idea into words'. I've also been playing a lot of paladins.
I rammed another robot in the mock battle. In the most recent battle it was a tentacle monster.

I refer to everything as a mech, including Cruxi. As far as I'm aware, those things are half machine anyway.
So, considering this is an RP involving Giant Robots, I assume there has been copious amounts of Hot-Blooded Screaming, absurd maneuvers, crazy gambles, and lots of stuff blowing up? XD

Acccctuuuuaaaalllyyy...

This is a giant robo RP that focuses more on the realistic and grim aspects of it all. Certainly, the amount of jank stuff we can pull is nothing to sneeze at, but it's not the complete focus. For example, one moment we can have Yeager using his thrusters to ram into another mech and take BOTH of them down, followed by the screams of agony half the planet away as a superweapon massacres an entire colony and half the lineup of framewerks get put into a state of being unable to fight.

Or how one mech can use itself as a living electrical grenade, nuking the entire tile, while on the other side of the map another gets torn to shreds as it desperately tries to flee from incoming missile fire.

TLDR; We certainly do SOME of the above, but it's also mixed with realistic 'Combat is hardly a happy affair' type of stuff.

EDIT: Actually, go and read these last... three or so pages if you want a good idea of it. This battle is a good showcase of that. I could also link you the mock battle, where some of us (Lookin' at you, Draco and Atomic) pulled some stupid stuff and got away with it.
@GamerXZ
Yes, this is currently open. Please submit an age first.

With which Ariamis means that, before you submit your sheet, you should tell us your character's age so they can roll experience and synchronization rates for them.

Yeah that's pretty much what it is. I only put it there because...well in the picture, those three stakes look "odd" like it doesn't belong there so in this case, I figured I should explain it somewhere since I couldn't find a picture of it without it there.

And I'll change some parts in the profile about his "lack of experience" but has a "knack" for recon work to show that he's still learning. Look at the above profile since I'm going to edit it in rather than repost that whole thing again -____-'

Okay, lemme give you some advice.

Don't tell your character has X or Y, but instead show they do. Just say that they're supposed to be a recon unit, and whether or not they're a good recon unit will be shown inside of the RP itself. Golden rule of writing, show don't tell.

EDIT: With which I mean to say, if your guy has a knack for it you shouldn't put it in the profile but instead prove it in the RP itself.
I don't like Overwatch. Feels too restrictive in play style.

Yeash...tough crowd -_-'

Well I'll delete that line but...ariamis. Do you want me to sit out the RP or something? I can't do much with Mai in a coma unless there was a direction you were trying to hint at?

Recovery happens as fast or as slow as you want it to. Speaking from... experience... a coma can last as short as two weeks, so she wouldn't miss that much in that case. Human tech has also advanced quite a bit, so you might get out of it even faster.
I'm, uh, here. Just been playing a lot of Paladins. Like... a lot a lot. Since everyone who's relevant has posted, I'll get to working on it in the weekend.
Well really, Jake was supposed to be just a temporary substitute pilot till Mai recovers. I just don't know what direction to go with her at the moment so that's kind of why I made Jake similar to Mai.

If you're stuck with mai, the last thing you should be doing is making a similar concept. The best way to get inspiration for something is to take your mind off it completely and come back to it later. I also kind of disagree with the idea of a substitute, because that feels kind of cheat-y compared to the others that play only one pilot.
Hey @Ammokkx, I've been looking through the custom card list, and I've noticed some errors you made when adding cards:

Soaring Knight Parshath (Synchro monster): That monster's effect should only activate whenever it attacks, not during every battle.
Mind Erasure (Continuous Spell): I'm pretty sure we discussed and agreed that this is meant to be a trap card instead of a spell card.
Normality Fusion (Quickplay Spell): I know for sure we agreed that this is meant to be a normal spell rather than a quickplay.

This one's actually my error:
Arcane Master: the "Assault Mode" in its effect should be "/Assault Mode". Just a bit of a nitpick there.

I was the one who changed Parshath and Normality Fusion to those. I'll fix the other two when I get back to school, though.
