Serah didn't quite know what to think of this "Jake", still. He told her that he'd worked with Mai before, but that didn't put Serah at ease in the slightest. She was a little relieved when he left, but still gave him a smile as he left. Serah turned back to Mai, avoiding eyecontact and scratching her chin a bit nervously. "Erm... you sure you want to know, Mai? I mean, shouldn't you be getting your strength back first or something?"

Serah's smile was forced, and so was the small laugh she gave Mai. It's clear that the girl would rather avoid the subject of who died on the battlefield. The girl was silent for a few moments, then changed the topic. "...Anyway, so! What's up with you and Jake, hmm? He can't just be from another division, right? I mean, you two know each other and all... You sure he didn't just transfer to see you again?"

Serah giggled a little mischievously as she said that last part, glancing back over her shoulder to see the boy still standing in line. Once the girl confirmed the two of them were in the clear, she put her elbows on the table and rested her chin on top of her folded hands.

"C'mon, we're both girls. You can tell me~! I won't tell anybody, promise!"

Ok, just a few nitpicks. That "who's" should be "whose". That "card'" is missing an s. You don't really need that "Then" there.

There could be a nerf to the Machine-type monster tribute effect though. We don't exactly want a Rocket Arrow Express or something being Tributed.

I'd see your concerns with the power of the effect, but it won't be an issue. That's because:

1: VD isn't going to be a public card. Now that Xei's gone, I can take the concept and run with it.

2: That effect was like that before I buffed it. Actually, all I did was merge effects. If you didn't have a problem back then, no point in having one now. It's also a very specific combo that has no protection, unlike a certain easy to summon 5k beater.

And getting to fixing those typos now, but I still don't think the PSCT is quite right.

EDIT: Embodiment of Moonglow, Gravesoil Sediment Golem and Phantasmal Shadowphage all got a slight buff.

As you can tell, it's card cleanup day for me.

I'm buffing the Void Dragon line of cards (because I'm planning in advance) but I'm not so sure about my PSCT in the buffed effect of VTD. Feedback would be appreciated:

"This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon by using monsters whose original, printed name is equal to the listed Fusion Materials. Once per turn you can tribute one Machine-type monster from your hand or field to increase this card's ATK and DEF by the sent card's original ATK and DEF until the End Phase. If you do, you can change the battle position of one of your opponent's monsters to face-up Attack position (Flip effects are not activated at this time.)"
