Given their state, Nestor found this very, very improbable. But behind his mask he smiled, the change in his face and eyes giving some relief to the people before him. The fools thought they would have mercy. They would of course, but it was a spiritual one, in that they would be free of their sinful bodies to stand and repent before the Emperor.

He spun on a foot in a beautiful pirouette to end the life of another one of the people before him, but his vision faded before that could be done.

The cultist awoke in a pile of wreckage. His head hurt, as did quite a lot of the rest of him; monomolecular knives it were not good items to possess at the moment of being shipwrecked. He didn't lose any appendages but he certainly did have a great many lacerations about his body. He stood up with a groan, smirking as the people he was going to end had died anyway. He rooted around their small drug lab, taking the clothes off of them to create a small impromptu disguise as an ordinary denizen of the vessel.

After briefly examining himself in the reflection of his blade Nestor nodded and went off to look for other survivors.

Name: Anatoli Pavlovich Marchenko
Rank/Position: Major
Description: Anatoli has a very archetypical Eastern European appearance with a height of 180cm, cropped light hair on the border of brown and blonde, and green eyes. Years of life and stresses have given him an impressive collection of wrinkles on his forehead, but beyond that a physical regimen has kept him largely in shape.
Personality: While some might rush to call him a cold bastard, Anatoli is simply a practical man putting interest of himself and those near him above those of others and happily gives up that which he does not care for should it suit that which he cherishes.
Biography: Born in 1968 he served briefly in the Afghan war as a conscript with distinction. Following the war the Union began to collapse and with little marketable skills -as well as lack of ability to afford university education - he made use of his military training to join the OMON of the Ukrainian SSR for the brief period it existed before joining the newly founded Berkut force. He served faithfully until the civil crisis. He avoided taking sides as long as he could, but when his wife revealed her sympathies to the Eastern government his choice was made for him.
Vision/Outlook: Though not prepared for this, the Berkut force has managed to secure itself a great many heavier weapons in addition to the arsenal they already used in service. In conjunction with their acquired vehicles they are able to make a practical fast-attack force that can readily create encirclements, or avoid fights that it cannot win.

The large size compounded with fragility of the vehicles makes the crews reluctant to use them as much more than transports to get from point A to point B; the real firepower of the units comes from the Iglas and AGSs they carry within the vehicles in addition to their assorted small arms.
Unit Commander: 1st-3rd Platoons are commanded by Lieutenants Timur Karas, Tadeusz Pavlovich, Leonid Markov. 4th Platoon is an improvised command platoon lead by Anatoli Marchenko himself.

I reminded myself of when Dutchbag and I were talking about this in PM. I started with a Regimental organization and strength of three battalions and then reduced it to one battalion.

I'll chime in by pointing out we all have roughly a battalion sized unit, with some manner of supporting elements. Gunther's bat is a consolidation of the remains of his brigade's three battalion into one, mine is a bottom-up gathering of militias. If you want to have two battalions, I'm not going to stop you, but in order not to overextend I'd suggest having Sokol group around the strength of a (reinforced) battalion, with nine to twelve infantry platoons.

The thing is that Berkut battallions are traditionally much smaller than actual military ones, so there has to be more than one to achieve something like numeric parity with the other applications in this game.

At the moment my composition is men mostly on acquired cars and trucks including civilian yes, along with seized heavy weaponry. Not the armour of IFV/APC/MBTs but much more liquidity of assets. Like former Berkut troops did around 2014-present they also make use of their aluminum riot armour for light but effective frag suits. They are very well trained but not prepared for this sort of fighting.

To the the underworld of the Bonelord arrived a figure that he could see as a blessing, as a curse, or perhaps simply a nuisance. It was a fellow Skaven who was larger than the typical clanrat - almost the size of a Stormvermin - yet lacking the upright posture of Stormvermin and much of the Skaven intellectual castes (though the full extent of his proportions was hidden by the grand cloak upon him).

He was a strange fellow, with a particulalry long snouth and jaw to much peering out from the length of his hood. His fur was rather well maintained despite having apparently travelled this treacherous distance on a stormfiend, but just as interesting were the two very long and transparent warpstone cylinders likewise peering out from the hood and resting upon the snout of the giant rat; some more learned folk would be able to watch and see how light twisted around the lengths of green, and after witnessing the two brown orbs projected out the flat but smooth tips of the cylinders they would be able to deduce that these were very, very large spectacles made out of warpstone.

He would speak to the skaven he came upon and ask to see the Bonelord, claiming to have a very important duty. Though many might call this claim to be dwarf-thing-shit, he announced himself to be an Inspector from the Council of Thirteen.
