Bio

~Angel Vicky~

Been a member of the old Roleplayer Guild since 2012 - I tend to do more Advanced. My favourite lore is Angelic (you probably couldnt tell by my name!), medieval, Ancient Rome/Greece/Egypt and Norse mythology. My fave writing genre is sci-fi and fantasy but I like drama, comedy, suspense and angst with a bit of romance thrown in!

I tend to do only 1x1 rps nowadays as they are less chaotic with less people, as they say "too many cooks around the pot". Here is my current interest check.

My Hobbies include: roleplaying (obviously!), astronomy, writing poetry, dance electronica music and raving, pets, video gaming, cosplaying.

She looked at him blankly. She gulps and turned her gaze away. "It was once." Her eyes twinkle as she seemed very far away in her mind at that moment.

She stared into the distance without saying much. Something clearly had traumatized her. She held both hands together neatly in her lap and looked down with sorrow. "It is a darker place now." She heard screams in the back of her mind. One was her own cry of agony. She gasped. "Raphael!" She stood up and shouted, she couldn't bare the thought of it. Last she saw him, fear in her eyes. "No!" She covered her face with her hands and fell to her knees.

"Father...." She regarded Raphael highly as such.
Varia nodded as he talked about finding someone or something. "Yes it's very important." She insisted as she watched the dog come in. A beautiful animal she'd never seen the likes of and her heart, oh how she felt it melt upon seeing his cute doggy face!

He watches him take care of the child. It reminded her of someone back home. Or what she thought was home. A parental figure comforting her before....darkness took it away. The war.

These children were lucky not to have seen war. And as long as she was here, she was going to see that no child ever did see war. She knew it in her soul as she clenched her fist in determination. The dog came upto her wagging its tail and licked her hand. It was such a shock that she giggled in surprise. Nothing had ever licked her before.

She held her other hand over his head and instinctively patted it, but very timidly, unsure of herself and whatever this creature was.

"So you live here?" She asked as she looked around the house. Filled with small objects she'd never seen before.
Varia shook she head in response. "I um...no. I'm fine. Thank you for your kindness....something I rarely see these days." She muffled under her breath. She caught a glance at his palm's symbols. Her eyes fixate on the symbol. She knew that symbol.

"That symbol." She said. That symbol meant something to her and why she was here. For a moment it was on the tip of her tongue. But then it was gone. Shaking her head, her golden brown locks swaying around her shoulders, wavy and slightly messy from her collision with a tree. Still she remained Angelic perfection. Or the idea of perfection. She did feel safe here, for now. She felt as if someone was after her. Looking around with unease, never knowing what was to befall her next.
Eh whats so funny? :P
Starfire could have sworn she had seen a human darting across the rooftops very quickly. But she knew they didn't fly. Not like her. She had to remain on the ground to not cause suspicion. She felt her stomach grumble. She had 4 stomachs and a very fast metabolism. She had to find food and fast.

Then she heard a male's scream coming back from the alleyway, she presumed it was those men who ran from her. She shook her head as she wasn't going to help someone who was not going to help her. She walked the city streets until she came across someone robbing a late night convenience store. She saw food inside and decided to sneak past the door into the side alley. The store's alarm bells rang far and wide, cop sirens closing in. She hid behind a dumspter until the robber fled and the cops chased. She darts into the store using supersonic flight which was too fast for humans to see. Wide eyed at the amount of food, albeit strange food.

Grabbing some chocolate bars by the bucket load and gobbling them whole with wrappers on. She made her way to the bread and ripped chunks out of it with the plastic wrapper on. They didnt have plastic wrapping on Tamaran. She choked on it and held her tongue out at it. 'Yuck.' She was just hungry, she did not want to steal from anyone. She just had to eat before she passed out.

She hears a noise and ducked down. Cops close the store and lock the door and Starfire was stuck inside until morning. At least she had somewhere to sleep for tonight though. And then she could get back to finding out information tomorrow.
Varia lets the Archangel patch her upp without saying much. She remained quiet and confused. She tried so hard to remember.

"V." She softly spoke. That was all she knew and when she looked back at him, something in his eyes made her blush and she had to turn away. He was like no other angel she'd met before. They were cruel, intense, angry or devoid of all emotion. Gabriel was not.

"Reya." Another syllable came into her mind. "No that's not it either." She held her dainty fingers to her forehead in pain and frustration. "Argh why cant I remember!?" A memory of Azazel came into her mind that shocked her backward in fear.

She saw Azazel's angry face and his many swords coming at her. Her eyes wide as she held herself tightly, protectively. All her life, they had fought. All because she did not love him back. How could she? He thrived on war. She could not bear to see him tear down other Angels in a cruel way. Azazel's obsession with the songstress caused her much grief and sorrow. But for now she didnt remember much of that life. Always being sad.
I think I'll save Starfire's human translation kiss for Nightwing. XD
"She came from the Stars."

A single shooting star streaks across the sky. That’s what her fall looked like to the rest of the world. During the transition between realms it was a golden swirling tunnel. And then she crashed into a tree that levelled it. She lay unconscious until Gabriel came out to see her.

Her wings ripped and broken as if she had narrowly escaped with her life. She looked around blurry at first. She focused on large wings and then a golden hair. She thought for a moment she saw a lion’s mane but it went clearer and the hair belonged to a man. A man with deep eyes with a gentle and calming feel.

‘I don’t even know what Gabriel looks like…’ Her voice echoed from the past just before she disappeared.
Raphael replied with

‘You will know when you see him….’

But she didn’t know this man. Or her purpose. She didn’t remember anything for it was too traumatic for a common angel to go through the realms without retaining memory.

“I…don’t know.” Varia speaks up at the priest like man. Her body was healing fast but her mind was not. “Where…am I?” She asked as she leaned up, she didn’t even know her own name. Her eyes did not glow anymore since falling from Heaven. It was if she had become somehow lesser in power. Maybe she suffered Angelic ‘concussion’.
Well. Hope you like it! I'll be back on tomorrow :)

"500 AD. That was when the last known sighting of the Angels who appeared to Humanity." Raphael lectured his most faithful of angels. "They became unworthy of our love and guidance." He stops and heard a voice that he had not heard for a long time.

But he wasn't the only one who heard. Raphael turned gracefully to his most treasured and youngest angel. "Varia my child. Hail my brother Gabriel." He talked about him so often with a sadness, where his loss left a big hole in his heavy heart.

The golden brown haired angel looked up at her teacher, her mentor and friend who had helped create her in his own image - hope that would spread to all during this time of war.

Varia stood up straight and at the attention of her elder. Others knew Raphael would try to communicate or send a messenger to Gabriel. That was easily predicted by those who did not want this war to end. And then before he could do anything, Angel's burst into their chambers brandishing weapons.

"Varia go!" She did as she was told and ran from the warriors. She turned back to see Raphael captured and unable to contact the Lion. "NO!" She yelled back, Raphael shook his head. He telepathically told her to find Gabriel. 'Gabriel is our only chance now. This war has gone too far.'

'But what of you?' She pleaded back as the warriors gained on her, she threw a force field out toward them in defense.

'Survive!' Raphael cast a hand out to her and a swirling light encased her being. When the warrior's pounced uponher, she had disappeared...

Azazel, of long white hair, burst in growling - Michael's Right Hand. "Find Varia. NOW!" He ordered his legion.

And therein began the Songstress of Hope's descent onto the Earth...
