Even if we did put 'factors' into a theoretical scenario, it's highly unlikely that anything we have to say will change your mind. You are your character's creator, it's your masterpiece and taking criticism towards it is going to be hard.

But unfortunately, unless you do take the criticism that has been presented here, there's no way your character will be accepted because, in the eyes of many, Lowell has too many powers. Whether this makes him fit your tiers or not, the fact remains the more powers you pad your character with, the more people begin to look at a character as being well-rounded. And being too well-rounded is not a good thing in an RP.

The problem is your criticism is not apt. I can accept criticism where criticism is due. I have put many factors into Lowell when creating him which has been ignored. The very fact he could be beaten by Bane or even Batman himself has been ignored as well. When I write powers I have always considered who can kill him. Lowell is actually fairly weak in comparison to a lot of broken mechanics in the DCU. Which I have pointed out. You can get on my case about getting a name wrong. Dr. Fate and Dr. Strange, but cannot seem to think in broader terms when it comes to Lowell. You see more powers so you assume better. But that is not the case.

-He is easily beaten and his magic can be nullified by other magic users, Raven, Zantanna, Dr. Fate, and so and so forth
-Most people in DCU can obtain specialty weapons I am certain if Batman has Kryptonite than Deadshot can get silver weapons
-Than you consider characters like Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, who have enchanted or somewhat enchanted like weaponry, which can also beat Lowell

Again these factors are being ignored. When I put his powers the way I did as factors to balancing them. Well rounded should be what someone is looking for in a RP.
But Batman is not the weakest of the Justice League. His whole strength is his mind and how he can take out super powered people.

I just wanted to give some friendly advice. It is not the strength of the powers that bothers me. It is the width of those powers.

@AngelofOctober

More powers doesn't equal more strength. It's just more options for Lowell. To me it sounds like you didn't put any factors into the scenario at all.

@Ruby

Not talking about the DCU I am talking about the RP itself
Don't let the door hit you on the way out!

"what do you mean I can't have 4,000 different powers? look at superman, he does one thing really well, that's the exact same situation, right?"

Okay. No now I am going to have address this. I already gave reasons why Lowell is low tier, but apparently I am going to have to do some more. I mirrored Lowell's strength of that of Raven's from the original Teen Titans RP. She's still not the most powerful of the roster of DC. But, I don't even have 4,000 powers.

Lowell is the equivalent of a DnD druid at mid level with transformation and the ability to cast. It's why I like when RPs like this implement some hard fast rules with numbers and statistics because Lowell can be equivalently killed by two low tier DC characters. Bane and Deadshot. Venom blah blah.

I've given you my test to manage the powers;

-He can be defeated by the highest powered characters Supermand and Wonderwoman
-He can be defeated by the lowest component of characters Bane and Deadshot
-His magic is nullified by any of the other magical based characters in the DC Universe

In my RP where I implemented tiers;

Superman being the Highest Level of Strength - which wasn't understood

Raven being mid tier of strength compared to her teen titan counterparts

Lowell sits at the feathering line between Raven and one of her lower Teen Titan counterparts

Batman being the lowest level of strength
@AngelofOctober
Might I advise removing some of his powers? It does seem like there’s quite a lot of powers there. Magic and the strong wolf form? I mean one of Jose could easily go towards your guy being a protector type. The werewolf might work a bit better solo. Then you could go for the whol Protector thing but still have the cursed thing. Just my two cents as an outsider.

Yep and this is where I take my leave. I gauge powers based on the ceiling fan of other members. Considering Superman is cannon in this RP his power level is the ceiling gap.

I also perform the dead test;

-Lowell could still be damaged by Bane of all the villains in the DC Universe
-In an ideal situation, and he didn't know Deadshot was there, one silver bullet through the head sniped can kill him
-He cannot take most hits from the likes of Wonder Woman or Superman, instant death or defeat
-He is defeated by strong magic users like Zantanna, and Doctor Fate. Who also have the know how of how to cure his magical wounds which I wrote in his weaknesses

If it's a ruthless werewolf borderline villain it likely won't make the cut. There have been a few were-people in JL though. Tasmanian Devil, Pantha I think had a feral form, Wildcat had a long lost son that could turn into a werepanther, etc. Just gotta be more superheroic.

- Ω

Lowell is not a ruthless savage beast. He's a druid wolf who cast magic. His whole origins was his family bloodline were once protectors of an ancient wood. Though over the years as the world expanded more and more into modern times, and there were little of the ancient forest to protect the family no longer practiced their ancestral traditions. Though Lowell blood drives him to be a protector and so he went to heroic vigilantism to protect people because that's what drives him.
@Omega Man

Excuse the double post. But tbh, should I even try finishing Lowell for this RP? I saw the OOC about being picky about the cut. And I want to get a general idea you find Lowell interesting before I sit there and continue to put intended effort into someone who may not get the cut. I have not seen any feedback on my WIP and usually I like a little comment or a little advice from the GMs when I share these WIPs, in case I need to fix anything.
I'll be finishing Lowell's bio here.
I’ll be making a character! Love a good superhero RP! :)

ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT

緋村 恵

Age: 10

Birth Date: November 16th, 2001

Nationality: Japanese Chinese

Trait: Reliability

Appearance:

A young boy who stood slightly shorter than those his age at 4’5”, 134 cm, and weighing 70 lbs, 31 kg, was off on his lonesome sketching in a sketchpad. With straight long jet black hair and gray irises, he swung his legs on the bench humming to himself. He wore a pair of shorts and a long button shirt over it with a black hood with a blue stripe, a red ribbon pinned in the center of the hood and buckled shoes the outfit could have easily been mistaken for his school uniform. Sitting next to him a teddy bear with a red ribbon tied to its neck seemingly enjoying the company. The young boy’s voice was fair and light, could be easily missed since he talked low and quiet.

“I am not alone, I have the worlds I create in my head and the knowledge I have a home to go back too.”

Personality:

What a weird little kid Kei is. He doesn’t have any friends his age. He’s always talking to the older folks or off in his head drawing in his little book. Says the neighbors who watch Kei walk home and to school day in and day out. I feel for the poor kid he has no friends and he lives with his grandmother. That child says nothing, perhaps he was cursed by a spirit.

There are many things people say about Kei, considering the fact he seems like a lethargic 10 year old. Who spends his days sitting in grass, talking to himself and a teddy bear. Or simply drawing the world around him. He’s always been a sensitive kid, and gentle. He’s often come off shy to others because he doesn’t say much and in some circumstances he does feel a sense of anxiety around others his age. He feels he gets along better with older people than kids his own age. Though that might be due to the trauma he had experienced at a young age.

Kei’s not a kid who runs around and goes on high adventure, he sees and observes the world with a great sense of surrounding. Those who earn his loyalty, earn his sincerity. While Kei may not be an energetic child there is nothing wrong with him. Those who learn to know him, see an observant, mature young man, who is inquisitive and tries to understand the deeper meaning of the world.

Though he is prone to crying fits whenever individuals say something that otherwise betray him or hurt his feelings in some way. Kei’s a pretty easy to manage young individual. He doesn’t like yelling nor does he care for others to fight. Prefers sometimes to wander on his lonesome. He dislikes bitter foods and sweet foods, he dislikes loud noises, and bullies. He likes spicy foods, and likes calming sounds like rain or wind chimes.

Hobbies:

Drawing - Kei will often be seen drawing. He’s reserved and often sticks to himself, instead he often observes things around him. And enjoys drawing them.

Sculpting and Pottery - just because Kei is seen often drawing doesn’t mean he doesn’t enjoy molding with his hands either. He’s always been creative and likes exploring new avenues.

Skills:

Artistically Inclined - Kei is artistically inclined he can tell you the fundamentals and technicals of artwork. It tends to be his hobby and surrounding interest. So he knows more than he should about art at his age.

However, Kei is willing to learn new things and won’t mind if someone teaches him a thing or two. He’s inquisitive in that manner.

Bio:

To describe Kei’s life as ordinary would probably undermine what he has gone through. While his life may seem typical, there is a darkness in his heart that he avoids speaking of. There is a reason why he is living in a sleepy village instead of the big city. Kei has always been a child of his own drum and beat, which caused the unwanted, unnecessary attention of other students his age.

At five it started off innocently enough. Simple teasing. Simple words and insults. It began to escalate. The more he tried to ignore it, the more relentless the bullying became. It felt like one particular student had it after him from the very beginning. Taking his art books, ripping them up or defacing them. Mean words on the board. His parents a Himura Kenshi and a Himura Mina ignored it, just children being children. Not realizing the impact on Kei it had. Isolation and loneliness that he often pretends doesn’t bother him these days.

At nine he faced an unusual predicament in his life. A consideration of taking his own life. Unable to cope with the harshness of his schooling and unable to go to his parents or teachers for help or advice. All with the generic advice of simply ignoring the students or killing them with kindness. It never worked and only made Takashi Jun more determined to bully Kei.

It was only after this scare that his parents sent him off somewhere more quiet to live with his grandparents. And to go to a less busy school. There Kei distanced himself from kids his age and refused to engage with them. No one ever really dealt with it or taught him how to do with it. The problem seemingly fixed by changing his environment. Kei pretends it didnt’ impact him or maybe doesn’t even realize it does.
