By the way, if anyone wants to be part of that "hunting party" that found Orren, it would be cool with me to have a friend! Someone who helped him learn to speak again, generally fit in with society, and maybe as a sparring partner would be awesome I think.

Depending on the dragon that the armour/weapons are from then, yes, I suppose there would be a remnant of the dragons power. Most likely element based dragons such as a fire dragon being used to make a flaming sword or something. As for 'commoners' using dragon weapons, they can use them, but it doesn't mean they will last long in a fight.
A special squad would be pretty cool, however variety would possibly work best in such a situation.

I loved the suggestion, I just didn't intend for Dragon Sodality to hunt anything other than well, dragons. Lol.

Ah! Another good question :)
I was thinking that per character no more than two of the listed abilities can be chosen. Choosing one of the abilities will mean that the character could (potentially?) be less powerful than those who have two. Though a single one will be easier to control.
As for limitations to the abilities, I guess we can leave them up to common sense. However, I will mention that each ability will possibly be unique to each slayer. For example strength is the ability to lift great weights, but it could also be the ability to have impenetrable/steel like skin, or something like a shockwave clap etc.
I see, then what about the commoners who wields the dragon armor/weapons. Won't these tools have remnants of a dragon's power to use at their disposal? It would be interesting to see some kind of special squad created by combining the power of their armor/weapons which came from the same dragon.

Cam-Cam
Somewhere in a forestry area with a nearby water source echoed a frustrating groan coming from a childish Cam-Cam, who was hanging upside down a thin tree branch by his legs like some sort of monkey. He held out a hand-sewed beanie in front of his face being unimpressed by how shoddy it was.
"Dang it! I just made this too and it's already badly damaged! It's not fair!" He whined. Nonetheless, he put the beanie back on his head and sat back up on the branch checking out his newly acquired sash that was tied around his waist. "Well, its no tail, but it will have to do for now..." He muttered as he stood up now looking off in the distance. A long part of the sash was left hanging behind him, flowing with the wind each time he moves. "Once I get my sewing level up then I will be able to play with fashion! The boss will be dazzled by my looks that it will have no time to-" He started to say until the branch gave way and caused poor Cam-Cam to come crashing to the ground in a comical fashion. Fortunately, he wasn't too high up and only suffered minimal fall damage upon impact. He laid flat on his back with his arms crossed with his tongue pressing against his cheek and looked straight up at the sky in thought. I wonder where that girl went...I made a hat for her and she disappeared on me...Not to mention what the first boss will be like...
What are the power limits for these dragon slayers?
