If you're not trying to romance the Pokemon, what's the fucking point?

Can't help but read 'woah' as a regular 'wuh', but 'whoa' as a deep, masculine 'HOO-AH!'

That's patently untrue. I planted some potassium the other day, and no matter how much I watered it, all I got was explosions.

According to the IRC, I'm a low-grade troll. They're probably not wrong.

@Frettzo@Antarctic Termite The Astarte-Tira post was a very enjoyable read (somebady finally went nooorth. Whoop) but I think there might be some confusion about the geography and the location of things. So, best clear that up.

Geographical consistency? In a Tira/Astarte post? You must be out of your mind.

We'll leave it however you feel is most appropriate, this was just a result of me trying to get post pacing right without much reading back.

Shet.

Also, map of the Metatic archipelago.

1 is Xanchaladan, where Diana is having adventures. 3 is Axotal, 4 is Ihuian and 5 is Xiloxoch. Loki and I haven't figured out a name for 2 yet, I think. Those lines cross through isthmuses but they're still there.

We decided to name number 2 Itzamatul. It has no major government of its own and tends to be ravaged by Xanchaladan a lot. There's a cultural break between the more Polynesian Tlaca in the south and the more Mexican Xanchaladanites(?) in the north.

Tauga may have abandoned Amestris, or at least her leadership there, but she hasn't abandoned her role as Marquise. She's still holding Alefpria's outermost territories and expanding its borders, even if Lifprasil's control is increasingly de jure.

Erjang is on the centre West coast of Axotal.
That post where Lazarus is trapped in that demiplane...

who the hell is the one who spoke in tildes? Is it that one sculptor, from that time Teknall was telling them about alchemy, who kept going off on poetic ramblings? And was The Blazing Fist of Those Who Must Obey the Law of Ancient Greek Platonic Conceptions of the Perfect Heads of a Perfect Polis Otherwise He Will Beat You Up With his Level 8 Powers and Bash You With His Very Unhappy-looking Mask summoned out of the demiplane and onto Galbar?

We've seen Tildes before, she's the Alefprian physician who served as Tira's therapist, Tauga's therapist on paper, and Dabbles's lab technician while he was experimenting with Sweethearts. She was also the only telepath acute enough to contact Toun and Teknall directly when they were at Ovaedis. I forget what her discovery in the alchemy post was.

And I presume so. The barriers holding in the King of Kings aren't as strong as Heartwood would assuredly like them to be.
@Scarifar@Kho the deets

@Double Capybara @WrongEndoftheRainbow Took some liberties meshing the three of our views of the solar system together for continuity, let me know if it fits.

Personally I'd keep the names Athair, Aonair, and possibly Chananach and Obrach. Beyond that we already have the canon names Ilunabar and Galbar, and 'High Shipyard' sounds pretty good.
I just read the Terrestrial Citadel post and ho ly shit.

We need a Divinus Hall of Fame for this thing.

Brb. I'm gonna go write.
Edit: Termite, can you tell us more about the Jvanic Heartlands (or, if you have done so elsewhere, link please?). How does one go about visiting/going on pilgrimage to them?

A step by step guide:

  • Locate Jvan.
  • Open collab.
  • Walk inside.
  • ???????
  • Profit!

It's basically a reminder that Jvan is huge, hollow, easily located (and will be even more so after an upcoming post), and completely undefended, so anyone (mortal or otherwise) who wants to explore her can do so. She's shaped like a moon-sized metal sponge, so it's literally just a matter of finding the Grey Plateau and strolling into it.

The Heartlands can be thought of as stable clouds of environment that float in a circulatory system of empty void permeating much of Jvan. You'll see specific examples when Lambda and her boyfriend go on a date in one and a certain other god messes around with several of them.

All have life and some have civilisations, but none have souls, and often Heartland life is so foreign as to be unrecognisable as life at all. Heartland life and materials leak out around Jvan but don't tend to last long unless made to do so.
FUCKING SNORPLE. I TOLD YOU HE WAS THE FUCKING KEY! I FUCKING CALLED IT!

SNORPLE'S A GIRL YOU NUTBAG
another lil note on grotling rave clusterfuckposting: Grot's soul doesn't actually watch over the Grotcararsa or any other tribe, that's just their story. It was actually stolen by Lifprasil and slumbers in his possession.

...which raises the question of whether we may have accidentally created the next Vakarlon/Serandor dynamic.

ed: the Prime Vosh's soul reincarnated into an aardvark named Snorple and is currently in the employment of Dabbles. I'm declaring this canon by executive GM action.

So, does this mean Teknall made space robots who are perpetually expanding? o.o bit scary - what happens if they meet resistance?

Oh boy.

You're in for a ride.
@Kho This is why all good roleplays are written exclusively in Esperanto.

(to be fair I switched to a hard acho too eventually so it's all super moot)
