Psychological Analysis: Mathias is die hard loyal, once abandoning the objective to rescue a wounded friend who would have been left behind, even with this flaw he has shown incredible combat prowess. During a training session, he was given the ability to choose any weapon, choosing a custom tooled compound bow he beat the course in record time.However even with this gift his squad mates have often called immature and a chatterbox, however in the field he is hyper-lethal. Most importantly these traits allow him to perform well and communicate with his squad. His personal hobby is cooking which he finds relaxing and often tries to improvise in the field.

Military Background: Growing up on Mars was hard, especially when your taking care of two younger siblings. Mathias and his younger sisters Morgan and Mary were orphaned when a random gunmen killed both his parents who were walking in the door with groceries for the family. This event would turn the formerly fun and energetic Mathias in to a more responsible and emotional individual who would fight tooth and nail to keep what was his. After the shooting the local government planned to separate the children to find them homes, Mathias who was thirteen at the time fled with his younger sisters both of which were eight years old. After a few days of travel they arrived at there uncles house, he was not a hermit but had a fear technology thus he lived a lone in a undeveloped forest reservation and the officials had not broken the news to him of his brothers and sister-in-laws deaths.

Over the next three years his uncle would train him in how to hunt and track targets, but more importantly gave him archery lessons, arrows while slower than bullets are silent and if used carefully can even deal with energy shields if fired correctly as they allow slower moving objects to pass. He would also learn medicine as his uncle had been a doctor before developing a fear of machines and cyborgs. He would continue to care for Morgan and Mary until there uncle passed away when Mathias was seventeen, after that to provide for them he would join the UEE. Sending the money back to his sisters, he would soon find himself tending wounds and fighting in mock battles. Many of his superiors found him to be a good medic and a decent shot. However he was often said to talk far to much and spend time training with a bow, which they thought was strange and earned him the nickname "Apollo" in his squad.

At age twenty he heard the 101st was testing applicants from standard troops and decided to take his shot, However he wanted to join even more seeing how much the pay grade rose he had hoped to make the cut for the training. When test day arrived those who were being tested were allowed to use any weapon, he used a bow and set a record for the test course. After long time coming he finally passed the training he was proud to become a elite member of the 101st. He is excited and hopes to put his skills to the test.

Wow, impressive knowledge of guns Foster, I can't believe I missed that (Then again I was never that great at keep everything straight in the Halo universe, so many weapons so little time to read through them all, I shall endeavor to read more on them again.) So far your character sheet looks good, I would recommend however either taking a Rocket launcher or the grenade launcher from Reach as a secondary rather than a under slung. Minor concern, I don't mind it being there just seems odd to me, don't know why.

Knight sighed lifting the two chain around his neck, where he kept his dog-tag and a necklace of his fallen comrades tags, you can all see nine other tags on the necklace, on his dog-tags chain it he places Dylan's tag right beside his own. "Drop time is unknown, we are to go on standby until the General gives us the green light. The moment we know is the moment we go. Any more questions?"
