Fallout Tactics has death claws that can talk, scary killer robots, and the ability to have a tank. It just doesn't... Sit well with the rest of lore.

Very interested thinking about a Red White bard from Theros.
Doable, definately. Though depending on what kind of spells you want to run, you might want to swap out White, or acquire another color. Typical D&D style bard stuff generally falls under Blue, and as I'm sure you know, revelry is in RG on Theros.
Might add in green or change it round and do Red Blue or colorless.

Anyone else going post?
Carolina had just climbed out from under the Hog, he was the last to finish thanks to the present he had left. He heard Alaska report, she had rallied with South. However she was cut off at the end by North reporting the movement of five footmen. He didn't even think his mind already knew what to do the tactical system giving him a reading on the surroundings. "Alaska roof now, kill the pilot. South get in the drivers seat I'm going to play rabbit." With that he bolted for the forest making some noise by intentional stepping on a twig. The men drew there rifles and moved to investigate the disturbance, meaning that bought South and Alaska time. He slumped behind a tree checking assault rifle, now it came down to Alaska, he maybe had thirty seconds till they were right on top of him. He opened comm's to the squad "We go loud in thirty seconds. I've got a squad right on top of me so change of plans, South your gunning the back to the pelican and securing it, I'll stay behind to buy time and make my own way back if I can. North, if Alaska is not in the Hornet take it down first then move to cover the rescue team. If I'm not there when you get back go without me." With that he counted down to ten and turned, burying his assault rifle in the first guys stomach he emptied half a clip into him. Before firing back on the others, he took out two more before they made it to cover, at least a dozen more had come rushing, the team from the last shift no doubt. Hopefully the others were having a better time the others were having a better time then him he thought as he reload. He of course had gone back to arguing with himself in his head. This is suicide you know that right? You have no chance of making it back alive. Yes I know but... There my team, they count on me to get them home alive, beside's half of them have family. I know, I'm not arguing with your decision, just don't give them false hope you'll make it, your good Carolina but your not that good. Yeah, but if I told them I plan to die here then they would abandon the plan and get more people killed. I would have never done that, seems your time in the Sim didn't break you. It made you a better man, now the system says you've got a 0 percent chance of making it, lets beat the odds. Give me control...
I'm still here...
Jame's, Firefly had picked faint traces of comms activity but there was no way to if it was pirates, they weren't talking so they were idiots. He rotated himself past Wells just she identified the unknown Mecha, he was fast so he turned his after burned on nice and slow, easing himself forward. "I'll go check it out, might be a custom like mine, field test gone bad. I'll move in and try to hail them, you guys stay back and watch if I get hit stay with the ship, it's the priority." He moved in closer trying every frequency, he spoke calmly trying to get them to respond. "Hello, I'm James Rockefeller with the Xeon III, please acknowledge and tell us your intentions." He repeated the mantra over and over as he floated closer to it, weapon safeties off, he didn't like this, he didn't like this at all.
"First, I wish to know your recent history, last fifty years minimum. Next I would like to know you thoughts on humans, any past clans, and your feelings on humans. In return feel free to ask me questions as well, I may hold back some answers but I will do my best." He spoke politely, gently reaching over he picked up a book and quill dipping it in a ink bottle before looking at him patiently. He would record the answers and present a written transcription to Mira. He was not a fan of writing conversations, he was more in to writing tragedies and comedies. He would do it of course as this was a important task, Mira would need to know about there guest. Perhaps he would continue work on his novel when he was done. No, he had papers to grade and he need to be at the University to teach his morning class, then a nap before his afternoon class came in. He did love teaching, but it was hard being two people all the time. he yawned absentmindedly as he waited to write.
Alliance Dreadnought 3rd expeditionary fleet Mt. Tai Admiral Powree sat there, her small battle group just on the edge of the system she was surprised when the council had decided to bring together ships from all there fleets, now she sat on the edge of the system watching these strange cathedral looking ships in orbit. They looked human yet she knew better than to just hail them, they were packing serious fire power, she had assigned two Salarian STG groups and 22nd Lightning Psychos placing them all under the command Vires Decius. It was a stealth op but she had faith, if there was one thing a Turian could do it was follow orders, his job was to protect the Salarian team and bring them back with there findings, what could go wrong? Inquisitorial Flagship The Word of law Valeria looked at the Penal Legion colonel, he was sloppy and undisciplined, she was about to order him to get his boots off the table then shoot him in the leg anyway when her personal vox picked up a message from the Dark Angels Captain, it seemed he would arrive shortly. The Inquisitor glared at the colonel. "Please remove your boots from the-" Before she could finish, a glorious sight unfolded behind her. The entire war room was greeted with the sight of the Seventh company fleet in all it's glory as drop pods fell towards the planet below, fighters and gunships piloted by serfs following them down. The voxes blazed and everyone heard a message, it seemed as if the Emperor himself had sent them the power to destroy there enemies. "To soldiers of the Imperium, look up and rally, the angels of death have arrived, your salvation is at hand, rally to them and fight with the sons of the first Primarch! Glory to the God-Emperor!" Many dropped to there knee's offering prayers to Emperor and Omnisire alike. The Inquisitor simply looked annoyed, she was not one for speeches but to deal with space marines meant dealing with there righteous convictions as well. She turned and watched the pods fall, she smiled her hard face turning soft with a smile, she hated to admit it but there was a beauty to Space Marine's descending that rivaled even the greatest painting.
James smiled as the Marsha took off, he looked at the others and turned sprinting along side her. "Show time!" He pulled out his data-tab as he ran. "Firefly, activate priority one remote start." The tablet responded with a flurry of different screens as his AI raced through the remote systems activating it. She even asked for clearance and moved it in launch position. "It's done sir." She said matter of fact as he reached the launch bay. He board shooting out just after Wells, damn she was fast. He began check monitors releasing weapon safeties and killing his after burners as he took up position behind Wells, he was fast and she was tough figured it should work for now. "Fire, start long range scanning, any frequencies that aren't our own crack them and patch me in, if there's pirates I want to hear them before I see them." The AI didn't respond she just set to work immediately, he hated the damn waiting.
Inquisitorial Flagship The Word of law Inquisitor Helynna Valeria stood on the bridge of Strike Cruiser, watching the unnamed planet below as if she could see the troops dying from orbit. Her goal was worth however many lives it took to capture this rock. The remaining records showed that hundreds of years ago this planet would tithe 16 Emperor class titans and nothing else every four years. If she could get it operational or better yet recover these Titans she could gain access to the Necron tomb world that had somehow avoided the Tyranids. Of course she questions how they could produce so many Titans but most records had been destroyed or lost to time, the tech-priests with her however were just as keen to know. The Dark Angels would be arriving soon and they would be help the imperial guard push through, if they didn't well a Inquisitor has her ways. She smiled and walked into her war room, she need to speak with her officers. Dark Angels 7th Company Fleet Aboard Battle Barge Ultimate Vengeance Captain Abner had just awoken two Dreadnoughts, Cain and Deckard, brothers before training and both of them having been first company terminators until there deaths, now they would accompany there brothers once more into battle. He left the two tech marines in his company to ready them. He emerged onto the bridge just as they left the warp, he spoke into his vox taking a seat the ship moved in on the planet. "Squads ten through six report to your drop pods. You have the honor being our Vanguard in this fight." With that done he turned his attention forward, Chaplain-interrogator Daniels would be overseeing the hunt for Cypher, as to keep up appearances and hid the truth of there involvement he would meet with the Inquisitor before taking his command squad down and into the fight. if he could secure Cypher, well it would make him quite the legend among the Inner Circle. He opened commutations to the Inquisitors flagship, The Word of law. "I will be aboard shortly, first I will send down my men and scramble fighters to assist the guardsmen below." He cut it off not letting her respond, next he opened a channel to all guardsmen below. "To soldiers of the Imperium, look up and rally, the angels of death have arrived, your salvation is at hand, rally to them and fight with the sons of the first Primarch! Glory to the God-Emperor!" WIth that the drop pods fell and Angels descended from above and onto the battlefield.
