Jacob just sighed for awhile the caravan rolled onward until it stopped, it had not yet reached Ferox but before them lay an army and both Khans stood at the forefront. Therus and Tyran, these Khans were brothers and had simply traded who lead the country rather than have the tournament like the Khans of old.
Therus spoke, his voice was gentle and monotone. "Champion of Naga, we heard you were coming to ask for our aid. You will have it, our vanguard will stay and secure our border while my brother and I go to Ylissa, we will meet with your Queen and discuss more once we know if Plegia will join us." He said as Jacob slowly climbed out of the caravan bowing to the Khans.
Jacob spoke in his soft tone, nervously placing his hands in his pockets as looked at Feroxi soldiers before him. "Thank you... I'm sure the Queen will be most welcoming, I know it must have been trouble some to meet us here." He told them, behind the Khans they heard whispers from the soldier about how young he was and more importantly if he really was a Champion.
The mummers were silence Tyran slammed his sword into the ground and grabbed Jacob in a bear hug. "The Champion of Naga has repelled the invaders! Break out the cask's lets honor the boy in Feroxi way!" With that the men went from silence to cheers and Jacob was carted off to the be paraded about and meet the soldiers. Tyran having put the boy on his shoulders.
Therus sighed and watched this with a groan, Therus was the ruler and he was simply along as an adviser. So he stood of to the side, leaning against a tree as soldiers offered drinks to the Shepherds, a small band even began to play as tents were set up and the party went in to full swing. Jacob sighed, Ferox was a strange place indeed.

Matthew slept in, no it would be better to say he over slept that morning. By the time he had awoken Silk had left and he was checking to make sure most of things were still where he left them. After that he strapped on his armor and left the inn, grabbing a loaf of bread a few noble men gave him a sour look. While innkeeper smiled at the boy, he carried he had was living in two world, belonging to neither. He walked out looking about he saw the town was just starting to recover from the joyous festivals and grand events of the prior day.
Taking a moment he looked around pondering what Silk would do in this situation, the tactician spent longer than felt on the thought then sighed. He came to one of two conclusions, she either did the not so bright thing and ran for it. If she did then Naga be with her, she probably be dead in a ditch somewhere soon unless she'd done the smart think. When being hunted by assassin, surround yourself in public work and legitimate people. He wouldn't approach her if she was just out in open doing real mercenary work, part of the reason why mercenaries are not often assassinated. Most merc's die from being overwhelmed and killed by large groups of enemies, not a great second choice.
With a sigh he headed for the job board and looked around, hopefully she was still near here. She was of course, on a roof after about five minute of less than graceful climbing he arrived on the roof and sat down. "Well your as smart as I thought were. So were going to some honest work? I'm not usually one for work from a job board but I'll make an exception, your an interesting person so I'll tag along." He told her leaning back against the roof top. "So what job are we taking first?" He asked simply.

Well seeing as Silk and Matthew are working together (I'm assuming there.) he would probably follow her lead. However his sense of decency would make him get involved if any innocents were caught in the fray.
