Jace Belern has decided to once again open the multi-planer business known as the Infinite Consortium. With his current position as the living Guildpact he needs friends to help him manage and protect planes across the multiverse from the threat of the remaining Eldrazi titan. He and fellow Gatewatch member Gideon have decided to use the business and the walkers as scouts, soldiers, and informants. They also decided to focus the Consortium more towards defeating a threat to all Planewalkers, Nicol Bolas. Having deduced that the Elder dragon had been the one to orchestrate the release of the Eldrazi and cause problems across many other planes.
Ravnica has been chosen as the host of this new venture, with the Gatewatch busy looking for the last Titan, Sorin searching for Nahiri, and Ugin continuing to study and repair the hedron network on Zendikar. The Consortium will be tasked with with helping planes, looking for Bolas, and most importantly finding new members and expanding the Consortium's business trading in extra-planer artifacts and goods.
Word has been spread about the Consortium among a few planes, those wishing to join should report to Ravnica and speak with Lavinia and wait for one of the Consortium's, travelers to return to introduce you.

So I've got a rough idea of a plot but I'm all for where you guys want to go and what kinds of enemies we should fight. I really like the MTG lore and interesting varieties we see in Planeswalkers. I'm hoping to hear your thoughts and opinions on all this and perhaps even tell me more about what you guys think we should do, this is all open to change right now.
Admiral Faihe stepped up to the holo-communicator. "Hail all vessel's and show them the info we just received." He told the Ensign assigned to the controls. It took the boy a few minutes to fathom out how to ensure all ships were receiving but new officer figured it out, eventually.
Faihe spoke to all the captains in Phoenix fleet as he showed them twelve Victory class Star destroyers, near thirty Imperial raiders, and two Resurgent class Star Destroyers. "This is the New Order fleet over Jakku, we need to secure it in order to give ourselves a clear hyperspace route into enemy territory. With that in mind were going old school on this one. Since the New Order trains it's officers much like the Imperials did they will use the Raiders to hold back fighters that go after the Victory's. However, they will advance to attack your vessels, blockading us does them no favors, you'll hold position and launch fighters, meanwhile the Independence will be dropping in just behind the main enemy line, targeting the Raiders first all fighters and bombers will launch to assault the enemy Resurgent class vessels and disable any TIE's they encounter. The Independence's shields will hold up against the Resurgent guns long enough for us to mop up the main fleet, forcing the New Order out of the system or to lose two of their most powerful ships in the first battle." As he spoke the holographic displays moved as he showed them the plan in actions. "Simulations states at worst we lose a dozen squadrons and a cruiser, compares to Imperials lose's... That would new twenty TIE's to every one of ours fighters we lose. Simulations are not real however so everyone stay on your feet. I'd like to say our first victory had no ships lost."
Faihe then turned the Holo-communicator to himself, letting them see him. He dressed in full uniform, Admiral's bars pinned on his sleeve. His hair a tousled mess and a strip of cloth over the place his eyes would have been if he was human. "If can disable some of the Victory's please do, if we can recover data from the ships it would earn us a of love with the New Republic Intelligence Service. More they like us, the better our intel is going to be, which means more supplies and more trouble we get cause for these New Order captains."
He paused as co-ordinates for the fleets jump were sent out to all of them. "Make ready to jump to Light speed... May the force be with us all." He bowed, as the call ended and all his fighters were accounted for he sent the signal telling the rest of the fleet to jump ahead of them, wanting ten minutes behind them the Independence made it's jump. the Mon Calamari projection experts prepared the shields as gunners lined to fire, in two hours they would be facing the first true space battle of the war.
The blood gives you strength, do what you will with it.
Hello student. I know the shock of all this might be a bit of a surprise but we have temporarily hacked your device. Before you throw this away there is a very good reason we have taken it over. For the first time in many years magic is returning to the world. Now I know in this age of smart phones and computers you think this is ramblings of the mad and paranoid. Well it's not. You've felt it, powers, perhaps new found hobbies, unnatural skills at things you never knew you understood. You are descended of a legend of old, a mage, a king, perhaps a thief.
Whatever the case may be we have gathered teachers for you, prepared a school, and even made travel arrangements for you. If you choose to join us we reveal yours powers, and all the magic you could ever need. Power and fame would be yours once the training is complete, you would return to the world a herald of what they can learn and become.
Of course if you refuse we will be forced to take... Measures against you revealing this information. Below this message you'll find a plane ticket, passport, and thousand dollars or your regional equivalent in a private account in your name. Get to New York city's Grand Central station, tell them you need a ticket to the deep end.
Through out history humans have had heroes, villains, and monsters. Yet those that would place these labels on to them have never wondered... Perhaps they were not all human to begin with? Centuries before humans rose to power, magic filled the world it's creatures fought and battled constantly. Beings with god-like power forged creatures and culled continents of life. This was the first age of magic, dragons awoke and ended the age in there wisdom. They made the Gods retreated to the heavens, the immortal races retreat deep in to their homelands as the world split apart to keep the peace and give them each domains.
With an end to all that violence the dragons slept, humans arose and began to wander the Earth they made tools forged homes and weapons. Some began to learn from the magic that lingered along the world they changed rocks to tree's, mended flesh and bone, and some even began to learn the secrets of flight. Those that discovered these powers awakened something in their blood, a primal magic that they carry inside of them. These humans unlike other races could master and control advanced magic naturally. The gods from on high stepped in, choosing champions waking creatures as needed. The second age of magic as gods argued and fought mortals would decide their conflicts. This age would give us great legends and heroic bloodlines like Hercules and Momotaro.
Yet humans civilization came and went gods forgotten or simply ignored. As the Roman Empire fell most of the gods waned greatly in power some had even died. Men once again began to master magic on their own, the Dark ages were and onward were the third age of magic. Few could tap into the power that lay in their blood but those who could found powers only they could control. Nicholas Flamel found he could change any object into another, he saw the magical properties hidden in all life around him. Elizabeth Bathory bathed in blood using her magic to stay young for centuries.
The end of the third age of magic came to an end late in the nineteenth century dragons awoke briefly seeing how the world had changed use their immense power as well as that of the few remaining gods and the few humans they found they could trust during that time. They gathered the magic in the oldest dragons and let them sleep, they would contain the power as long as they could before they expired and it returned to the world. Enough time for the other dragons and the trusted humans to gather resources and artifacts. They would teach the humans magic and help them to master it, no more gods, or kings, those with the gifted bloodlines would be heralds who would give magic back to the world and keep humans from destroying creatures as they had in past.
-----------
So I thought I should touch a bit on what is acceptable and what isn't. Heroes and villains from folklore and history are fine, however they must be human or human like. You cannot have an ancestor whose a Minotaur or Kitsune, they are not human. If the person your related to could shape change that's fine so long as your standard form is a human.
You can be related to those who claim gods as family however not gods themselves. Your bloodline's power base must start before nineteen hundreds.
Lastly these powers need to relate to the person, you will learn more magic but your natural talent comes from your family lineage. Feel free to be creative!
Rules:
-I am GM my rules stand as law, however I am not a dictator I will listen to idea's and hear out characters and background information before making a judgement.
-No fighting in the OOC I've seen this kill roleplays before so you have a problem work it or just agree to disagree. If it goes on in the OOC I will up an end to it.
-Discuss things, the OOC exists to be a chat room as much as it exists to converse about the roleplay, it is yours to put things in as much as it is mine.
-Keep it PG-13 romance is fine, I expect fighting so violence is okay as well. Just nothing that would seem out of place. Cursing is fine, just keep it acceptable, I mean were talking about high school and college level people there is going to be some swearing.
