The Gifted: A Fast Paced Superpower RP (Relaunch)

It had been 2 days ago when the Underground Movement had attacked and the Reformists intervened. While lives were lost, due to the actions of Light and the Reformists, the damage was less than it could've been. Of course since it was a meta who had attacked innocent people, the Reformists were the ones blamed for the tragedy, even though the LAPD had shown greater levels of incompetence. After all, it wasn't like the Reformists could be everywhere at once with how few resources they had in comparison or anything of the sort.

In order to try to calm the public outrage, the mayor of LA invited Light and other reformist metas to a public press conference and dinner party, prominently advertising Light's return to LA to try to calm the public. The mayor hoped that this would work as Light had been abroad previously and having one of the most well known meta heroes back and protecting the streets of LA would hopefully calm everyone down.

Light herself wasn't too thrilled by this when she had gotten the invitation. "Great. Now I wont be able to grab a burger without getting swarmed again." She said as she was getting ready for the gathering, still a bit irritated. While the invitation was extended to other reformist metas as a whole, they all seemed to be doing their own things at the moment. In fact, Light didn't recognize a great deal of the new metas the reformists had gotten while she was away. It was unfortunate that she couldn't get to know many of them as the office was very busy after the attack from the Underground movement.

When she was ready, she made her way to the limo that was waiting for her outside. She wondered who else would come to the conference with her.

I think my villain needs a new person to stalk obsessively with intent to murder.

You can always do that to Light. Regeneration makes her very hard to kill :P.

Dunno if Light wants to join in on zombie hunting fun in Disney land or protect the mayor. MAyor probably meshes better with her due to her 'standing' though.

EDIT: Also we have a lot of villains and not many heroes, so villains probably wont win all that often :P.

"Ok, I've got it." Light said, reattaching her arm, waving to Ian as she made her way to the downed officer, dislocating his arms while she also slashed at the bomb vest to get it off of him, storing what bits she got off inside her pocket space. the Officer tried to fight her off, but it didn't amount to much without working arms.

Not feeling threatened much at all as a few other metas nearby were dealing with the other explosive jacket guys, Light took a casual look over the battlefield. A meta in armor was carrying some girl who he had just saved or rescued or whatever, Ian was dealing with his things, and another meta was protecting the crowd of people who Light was surprised got anywhere near this place. Still, the dead bodies were not a pleasant sight, and she guessed that she was called back to LA to deal with whoever was doing these terrorist attacks on the people.

"Hey Ian, whenever everything settles down, we should catch up." Light said, tying the officer up with his own shirt. She looked at the armored meta and the girl in his arms and called out to them with a hello.

Think its your turn to post with the whole masked zombie thing. Light caused the one charging at ya to explode and whatnot and Nytefall did something as well. So all thats left is your char.

If he doesn't want to, Light can blow up a few of them by punching them, but I dunno if she can get them all. lol.

@Blizz, make your character's power his own instead of something from some dimension and that fixes the problems people have iwth your character, IE, making lore that doesn't exist. Though if the GM is fine with your char then there ya go.
