I like her character but not her power.

I'm going to reject the Toonforce part. I don't mind if you keep certain aspects of it but definitely not the immortality. It's preferable if you didn't use a super power thats on the level of fourth wall breaking. The sort of power level I was going for would be around the teenage mutants in X-Men. You can go stronger or weaker than that but no reality warping, immortality or city crushing skills lol.

Well like I said I could go more detailed pointing out all the massive weaknesses that makes Toonforce easy to deal with. That being said, shes incredibly difficult to put down for good, I mean, when do you see a Toon dying besides that shoe in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Basically the easy way to deal with Toonforce is non lethal abilities or Overkill.

TDLR version shes sort of a more defensive Deadpool in powerset, while also being a lot more tame in personality.

Also not sure whatchya mean by Teenage Xmen. You'd have to include Iceman and Jean Gray in that too, who are OMEGA levels. And both of those can impact things a lot worse than Light ever could. I can try to work on something if we can't get toonforce working, but that might be tricky since it has to be good for comedy while still being decent in combat.

Thanks for helping me alleviate my RP worries in the Interest Check. Heres my char.

Light

Appearance: Appearance: Light is a 1.8 meter tall white humanoid figure. Her head is a large spherical shape with no nose, very large black and orange eyes, short blue hair, fin like ears, and a very very skinny neck. She has a noticeable hourglass shape to her due to her hips and chest. She has skinny biceps with large forearms and hands with spike-like fingers. She wears a white dress with blue trim and a blue tanktop, the dress having an 'M' cut pattern in the front to reveal her legs, which look normal besides the bottom leg ending at a sharp point where her foot should be.

Height: 1.8m / 180cm

Weight: 58kg

Name: Light Void

Age: 16

Personality: Light is an intelligent, fun loving, honest, a bit immature, laid back sort of person who likes to play around instead of being serious. She values freedom very highly and likes to attempt to make friends with people, even those who wish her harm most of the time. This makes her come off as Naive to those who don't know her. Although her outward persona is very playful and slow to anger, you don't want to get her angry. Being Genre Savvy and intelligent, you'll have a bad time if you make her exceptionally angry.

Short Bio: Having developed Regeneration related powers, Light was sent to the Hero Academy much like other potential heroes with sufficient power. While a bit rough on having to deal with her powers and all the strange things that come with it, the vastly non human look, and other things that often seemed to alienate her from others. With this new school, Light hopes that she can make some lasting friends, after all, they wont be nearly as scared of her powers since they themselves probably have some crazy things going on with them as well.

Quirk: Regeneration, including limb control when dismembered for a bit.

Other: If you want to use Slapstick gags on Light, go for it.

... the average amount of hours worked per average Japanese worker is actually lesser than that of the United States. And although it is common for those work hours you mentioned to occur in city areas like Tokyo, those areas actually have extremely dense populations so there are still plenty of people around during work hours.

@Inkd Bull Its more the fact that there wont be many civvies on the streets so the background will be pretty empty in a city setting. Its not like the Avengers where New Yorkers are everywhere, and thats sort of my worry there.

Eh, I've made it work when given the chance. Toon Physics and explaining the nuances of that really makes the list of powers long though, even if its all small things.

@Archmage MC: Uh... I'm trying to think of a way to balance this if it'd go through.
Breaking it down, the user is able to survive multiple hits that would... Probably kill most normal people, but end up comedically deformed as a result, right?
Uh... In that sense, I'm reminded of Epic Mickey now lol.
Hrm... It's a pain to deal with nigh-indestructible characters, though. I think I'd probably have to give that a 'no,' sadly. You're welcome to try convincing me otherwise, though; I'm not close-minded enough to refuse a debate.

Well yeah thats a bit of the problem. 'kill kill KILL' villains get wrecked by Toonforce, meanwhile incapacitate/manipulation villains like The Joker or Lex Luthor pretty much make said Toonforce character their plaything.

I've made it so that said character gets taken out of the fight for longer and longer everytime they're obliterated, sorta like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Plus they take extra damage. But killing them completely isn't easy in the least.

I'm willing to try to balance it all out, but its tricky without breaking the wacky and fun nature of Toonforce.

Best to think of the character as a lethal comedy relief char tbh. Thats how I'll be playing them at least.

How detailed do you want me to get with Toonforce? Its pretty complicated due to how varied it can be. but I can attempt to get very detailed with it.

TDLR version. Look at a Tex Avery cartoon, early Disney cartoon, Loony Toon, Tom and Jerry, ext.. and you have a general idea of what toonforce is.

Yeah, but most anime actually take place in LA/San Fran with Japanese architecture. Well, unless they want to push the parents out of the way or are doing feudal japan.

My worry is those work hours basically mean there wont be all that many NPCs since they'll be at work 90% of the time, which means less bad guys or anything like that.

Also might wanna move it away from Japan, depending on how much you wanna use the japanese angle. 12 hours a day, 6 days a week work schedules really don't do well. And then that phoenix wright legal system... oy. >.<
