OK posted. I tried a bit of dark, but I'm not so great at it xD.

Light

Saturn Prison

Day by day go by, experiment after invasive experiment with what felt like brief respites in between. Light was a Gifted, someone who basically had superpowers. Hers was extreme levels of regeneration, which made her a great test subject for various dangerous experiments. Either that or the scientists just enjoyed a surgical playground, it was difficult to tell.

One day a new face came to Light. Looking at the newcomer with a bit of boredom, being chained to the wall by thick manacles so she couldn't escape, having escaped her cell before. "So, whats it this time? Acid bath? Poison? Some experimental new drug?" Light said, a bit bored. Light was known for having a cheery aura about her, if a bit unpredictable. But the routine of experiments had come to bore her.

But this doctor, doctor David, offered her something else entirely. Offering her the chance to be a hero, alongside a few of the other Gifted that also had a track record of being fairly cooperative or nice like herself. While she figured it was still an experiment, at least she would be out and about. "Yeah sure, I'll join you and your team thing. Better then getting poked by needles for hours at a time." Light said, giving a toothy smile.

After a few guards came to get her out of her cell, they escorted Light as she followed David to the central lift, and waited with her until David came back with the rest of the group. Light wasn't that sure of many of the other Gifted, their powers, or their names, having most of her contact being with guards or scientists. It was nice seeing new faces, and Light wondered exactly what was supposed to happen.

She answered herself almost immediately though as the group was lead to a tacky looking jet. Giving a small giggle, Light looked forward to new adventures. No more needles was a good thing at least.

@Archmage MC Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Who knows, maybe a prototype BFG 9000 from the game Doom, or at least something like it.

We got a taser version of that. AKA its pretty useless in anything but a lab. Give it 20 years and you might see a US navy ship with the prototype though xD.

I just can't wait for the nanobots. When they become advanced and easy and mainstream, that'll be our cure for cancer if they don't make a genetic engineered virus to kill it off.

TBH modern day tech would work well if you include experimental tech.

We already have Gauss, Lasers, long range tasers, and plasma weapons. Not to mention hulk gene injections and a few other sci fi things. Downside is that these things cost BILLIONS of dollars each.

Gauss and lasers are the most feasable things though. Gauss is scary. Imagine a... I think 250kg chunk of tungston going at what... mach 200? The thing firing causes an explosion from the acceleration, and it usues only magnetic fields, so its going very very fast.

Light

Name: Light

Appearance: Light is a pure white humanoid figure. Her head is a large spherical shape with no nose, very large black and orange eyes, short blue hair, fin like ears, and a very very skinny neck. She has a noticeable hourglass shape to her due to her hips and chest. She has skinny biceps with large forearms and hands with pointed fingers. She wears a white dress with blue trim and a blue tanktop, the dress having an 'M' cut pattern in the front to reveal her legs, which look normal besides the bottom leg ending at a sharp point where her foot would be.

Age: 24

Power(s):
Ultimate Regeneration - Light is capable of regenerating from pretty much any injury that isn't atomization (And maybe even from that.), although less critical injuries take longer to regenerate from. Light will regrow body parts starting from her head first, but if its unavailable, she will regenerate from the largest source of biomass she has. When Light regenerates, she gains a resistance to whatever she was regenerating from. Light can also adapt to extreme or zero oxygen environments like space or underwater over time. Light still feels all the pain of the injuries she sustains, and can be knocked out if the pain levels are too high or she is in a state where consciousness isn't possible. Light will additionally eventually absorb foreign materials that stop her regeneration or are stuck in her post regeneration such as bullets and the like.

Enhanced Strength - Light has superhuman strength for her frame, and can lift up cars fairly easily. Of course if she lifts something thats too heavy, she will suffer injuries from lifting it.

Personality: Light is a carefree, playful, lax, honest sort of person. She tends to view everything as a game and as such, usually has a poor grasp on long standing consequences. She also tends to try to be friends with anyone she finds interesting and isn't much in the habit of making enemies with people unless they wrong her first. While coming off as goofy, snarky, or michevious, under her playful persona is an incredibly intelligent person who will give you A Bad Time if you make her angry. Course shes sorta lazy in that regard, so it takes a lot to get her to that point.

Bio: Light didn't have much of in the way of family or a good childhood. Add to the fact she was arrested upon becoming a gifted, and you wonder how she stays so chipper with a track record of bad things happening. Of course once you've seen only the bad, you see the good in a much greater light. And of course with this new offer of being a hero, seeing the world, and all that fun stuff, maybe her life is turning around?

Can't ever go wrong with chocolate unless they got an allergy. xD

Also, apparently some scientists are thinking that peanut allergy aren't from peanuts themselves, but a fungal excretion from microscopic fungi that like to grow on peanuts.
