The next to try the course was Walter. Unlike Jasper, Light didn't know too much about him, but then everyone here was sort of new to her so that wasn't fair for her to say. She did notice Hachi and the lady calling herself Katherin having a nice friendly chat. "Hehe, Nice to see you two getting along. You two look like a cute couple." Light said playfully at the two chatting with each other in a cool manner. "Hiya Katherin, I'm Light!" Light said, flashing a toothy smile with her bear trap looking teeth in plain view. She figured she'd test the waters a bit and see how they'd react.

Turning to Walter, her grin fading, she said. "Lets hope I didn't set a precedent with that last obstacle. I don't want everyone to skip it, I only skipped it so I didn't tear it up with my feet." laughing soon after. After a pause, Light continued. "You know, all this talk about cold and this slight chill makes me really crave an ice cream. I'm sure you must get that feeling all the time Katherin. Heck you can probably make some really good ice cream with frost powers." finishing up with a non toothy smile.
So, are any characters dating any other characters yet or no?
"An effective way to evaluate the average's man strength is to look at familiar exercises that work multiple muscle groups. With this in mind, the average untrained man can squat 125 pounds, bench press 135 pounds and deadlift 155 pounds."

At least that's Wiki's answer

Thats about how much I can do in all 3 of those and I'm a twig. xD

So what would you all evaluate Super Strength to start at? Personally I think its around when you can easily pick up and throw cars.
According to the superpower wiki, 300 is really low on the strength scale. Apparently the top that peak human physice is 1100 lbs. I find that a bit obscene, but I guess Batman can lift a ton so it kinda makes sense?

I don't use that wiki very often so I dunno how creditable it is.

Not to be rude but it hadn't been a couple of days. It had been 22 hours. Second I MADE sure that EVERYONE was in the gym before starting the course. Even with only 8 (which if you count the characters even half) only one has gone and a second volunteered. Honestly the only thing I would have you change is <Snipped quote> and <Snipped quote>

Your not being rude, don't worry. Sorry, I felt a couple days had passed. My schedule is messed up and I thought today was thursday or friday. xD

I was thinking the ring thing was a thing about her luck, but I guess it doesn't make sense. I'll change it all up. xD
@KatherinWinter where should I have Van come in?

Well apparently there was an attack on the school this morning causing darkness illusions or something. No one knows where it came from and it was over quickly, but morning classes were canceled.

Right now everyone is at gym class doing an obstacle course in two distinct talking groups from what I can tell. BlackPanther's group and RumikoOhara's group. but everyone does the course individually.

Hop into gym class and fold into a group is my best guess on where to start.

That's your opinion. Most people hate it when he becomes emo and jerky. The best Superman stories are when hes like Superman vs The Elite.

Oh I have no problem with his personality, its just that why have any other JL member who isn't Martian Manhunter when Superman can do everything they can do but better all in one package with realistically no weakness. Heck even kryptonite isn't really a weakness, its far too rare and he can still fight even when affected by it if he wants or even crush it in his hands with no ill effects.

Only stories I liked were the DCAU ones since he wasn't a gary stu there and had more personality beyond the straightman, but really considering how damaging of a character he is to DC its hard to like him past that. There is a reason that DC would go bankrupt if they lost Batman, and Superman is one of them. That and the confusing new 52 reboot, but we don't talk about that. xD

Though come to think of it, weirdly if you ignore comic superman entirely, hes not that bad at all. He had some good movies in the 80s-90s, and he hasn't pulled planets and whatnot. Just don't play Superman 64. Seriously friends don't let friends play that game. Its really really bad. (TOO MANY RINGS >.<)

@Archmage MC ummm... I would like to point out two things about your post.

1. Only one (maybe two) people out of like 20 have gone. So she isn't going last.

2. This was designed to withstand people with super strength, size, and heavier then average weight.

Oh, ok. No one was posting for a couple days so I decied to go. Figured there were only 8 or so people since Hachi is incapped and your char felt like she wanted to go last as to not ice up everything and the rest aren't in gym.

And the ring thing is more her bad luck, I wasn't sure on the doors since people without super strength lifted them just fine. I'll edit stuff if you need me to no problem. How should I edit it?
Alrighty, Light's done with the course. Who wants to go next?

<Snipped quote by Archmage MC>

Because I love the mythos and if you look I didn't add the any of the other kryptonian powers.

Thats fine then. I just don't like seeing a bunch of supermans running around xD. He kinda ruins DC singlehandedly if hes not the villain or its DCAU where they neutered him and made him more or less balanced with everyone else.

After watching some of her new friends do the course, Jasper exhausted from his run, as well as a new girl who talked with hachi, who gave off an aura of cold. "Ya know, I WAS going to wait, but this looks fun." Light said, getting up and walking to the start of the course.

There was a lot of positives to having super strength, one of them being that physical activities didn't really tire you out. And that was the case for most of the course. The first obstacle wasn't that bad, while she was unlucky, Light had phenomenal balance due to always having to walk on what were essentially needles every day, and it showed with how effortlessly she could keep her balance while jumping form slanted platform to slanted platform.

Parts two, three, four, and five didn't really pose much of a problem. She could easily hold her own weight using the rings and pegs, and she was happy nothing bad happened, as she was worried one of them was going to fall or something. Then there was part 3 that didn't really work so well in the modesty department since she wore a dress, but Light didn't really care too much. (In fact she never really understood why people intentionally shame themselves over stuff like this, and she was actually curious as to how many people did look at her in that section.) And part four was just a more fine tuned balance thing. Sure she left little pin holes in the rubber where she stepped, but other than that the balancing beam was a casual walk for her. And part five, well, super strength carried her through it once again. Though the last few doors were a bit trickier. Apparently they scaled with how well you did on the earlier ones. At least they thought about people like her when making this course!

The last part she decided to not do. While she could probably scale it, leaving large holes in it due to her feet would hurt the course for the people who hadn't gone yet. So instead she decided to take off one of her gloves and slash the air. The first time she did this, the wormhole she made decided it didn't want to have anything to do with her, and exploded in Light's face in a puff of purple smoke. Coughing while waving away the smoke, she tried again, and managed to make her way to the top of the obstacle. Having finished the course, she slid down the ramp and made her way back to where she was sitting, putting her glove back on.

"Well, thats done. Be nice if that 6th one wasn't rubber, but that was really easy. Super Strength FTW." Light said to the group with a toothy grin. "Wonder whos going to go next? she said, sitting down and getting into a relaxed position. She didn't mind the cold.

I just felt that having a good amount of forms would give my character some variety.

Just being a krypton, knowing even more than 1 or 2 is a bit much. Indestructable is one of the best defensive powersets out there. Plus all those other powers you get just due to the race thing.

but I'm so incredibly bias that I hate Superman so take this with a grain of salt..

Actually why not drop the kryptonian thing altogether and just be a shapeshifter? You can still shapeshift into kryptonian plants and whatnot, but you wont be Superman on top of that.

Not a GM, but thats my 2c If you need to rebalance.
