Well. I have met some pretty good people at convenentions. You just have to...break into the groups. Or volunteer. Some of my best friends I met volunteering at conventions.

I've also met some pretty awesome people through this site, that live in my country, and state. So there's that too.

And I met the guy I like through a game. We hit itoff. Found out we live within an hour from each other...and yeah.

Don't be so quick to disregard online stuff.

Yeah, but your a girl. Social things are just... easier. There is a reason why you see ladies basically as waitresses, cashiers, or wherever you talk to someone face to face. Though that leads the question. Is it BECAUSE most business face to face transactions are done with ladies that ladies are just more desirable to talk to in general, or is it that since ladies are more desirable to talk to its popular to put them in sales? Hm... chicken/egg scenario there.

Either way yeah, your basically the antagonist it feels like when your a guy or seen as one. I dunno, thats what it feels like from time to time. I talk to people and thats kinda the feeling I get from them, the 'go away' sense or whatnot. I mean, I've pretty much never had someone ask me to do anything or someone start a conversation with me, I've always gotta start the conversation or invite myself. Its... very very annoying.

And thats also a rant.

Panther, grats on the marriage. Sounds like you two did it right too. I've seen a lot of people do that first few months thing and boy does that end poorly for them after that first year.

Well, uh, basically. I dunno whats a good place to find a GF or IRL friends in general. People seem to be so closed off nowadays that its hard to even become friends with people. And for the GF thing, I really don't trust dating sites at all and that sorta thing is wayyy harder than making friends, which is already stupidly hard IRL nowadays.

I'm hoping conventions work, but people tend to be in groups with friends so I'm thinking thats not such a great place to socialize beyond "OMG great costume!".

Online friends tend to be far more open to pretty much everything due to anonymity and whatnot. Case in point, this conversation.

Oh, uh... Its asking for relationship advice sorta thing, but I don't think thats an appropriate topic coming to think about it. Only problem, its really hard to ever lead into something like that too so... yeah.

I love to run and have since I was 10, I entered my first 10k at 12 funny-thing is that I didn't belong to my schools track team because I was too busy learning horseback riding (Dressage)

Ah neat. Well your ready for the zombie apocalypse. You'll be able to outrun zombies til they finally decay for sure. Just make sure you bring honey, peanut butter, and water with you and you'll be good. Bonus points if you know how to potato farm.

I'm eager to see what happens when Tsura does break free of her mental illusion because I'm picturing her going full on laser an melting a hole through anything trying to contain or block her

Hey, if she does go berserk, Light'll probably ask her to incinerate her, so Light can regenerate without being bound. Toony physics and all.

Also I'm not a runner. outdoors hates me, and my cardio isn't that great either due to a sunken chest so I get winded after a block or two of sprintng, though I can walk 4+ miles no problem. so I just stay indoors.

So I'm going to a convention, and there are some DISNEY ANIMATORS taking commissions. I'm VERY tempted to get Light drawn by them since its only 50 bucks, but I dunno if I can convey what she looks like properly in that time.

Also cross your fingers, even though I highly doubt it, I would like to find a GF at the con, that'd be nice.

With a loud yawn showing her teeth, Light started to wake up. Though when she tried to flex her arms, she remembered that she had been kidnapped and tied up. While she did struggle, it was of no use, and she really couldn't hop out of the pod thingy she was in as she was taped into it. Furthermore, her gloves were still on, so she couldn't even maybe use her claws for something if she wanted to. Looking around, she noticed a girl who was toying around with another one of her peers, seeming to have a vendetta against that student's parents being batman.

"Hey, anyone else awake?" Light said to the others around her since she couldn't move much herself, being bound in tape and whatnot. Looking at who she assumed was her captor. "Hey, your the one that abducted us right? I'd really let us go, I don't like being taped up at all." she said. Although she was very irritated, she wasn't angry, not just yet. She'd need to see what kind of person this kidnapper was before she decided she'd need to get serious or not. This wasn't the first time she was kidnapped and it wouldn't be the last, but she learned that in a world of heroes, it wasn't that bad, especially with a powerful regeneration capability.
