@Archmage MC Well, that sounds about right- combining Marry's arrogance with Vert's recklessness, with a dash of both of their inquisitive natures, as well. The fusion probably would be something of an asshole, wouldn't they?
Maybe. Though I think they wont be total assholes, just slightly. Like a glory hound, but with the power to actually make it happen. Or a superhero kinda thing, super over the top, although they act more glory hound instead of superhero. I dunno, its a tough thing to describe xD.
Trying to go for some strange dycodemy like Papyrus, just not a character like papyrus. I mean for Papyrus, Narcissistic + innocent + super nice is a really really weird combo that works so well.
@Archmage MC I certainly did. We need to discuss how they'll act while fused, by the by.
Oh probably cocky or something. I mean, you are able to fly, teleport, make portals, and shoot people with lightning while having a massive electrified shield that I assume you can control like an electric Capt America Shield, except you can always bring it back to you. Might as well go full Zeus and make them a calculating cocky too! Or that last bit might come with a triple fusion if it sounds too broken. xD
Its something to model the fusion after. Female Zeus. Fun stuff. Marry even has the robes for it. And I wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of Zeus or Zeus-like gem out there. He IS the most well known of the greek gods, so they probably named a gem after him and it got remained to something else.
I'm watching/playing XCOM, so I'll think of fusions in the meantime. I know a good chunk of gods to get some ideas from if need be. SMITE is very good at that, even if they suck at initial balancing.
If Vert's power is electricity. Marry + Vert might make Zeus. Summon lightning wherever and have a giant electrified shield xD. Just with teleporting and possible portal gun.
Just no massive incest. Zeus was well known for that. Actually Zeus was probably the most antagonistic of the greek gods minus maybe Ares. SMITE does a good job on him.
Although she tends to have more of an 'always curious about everything' look on her face than the one in the picture.
Gem Placement: Chest
Gem Item: Tower Shield
Powers: Levitate(Passive) = Antigrav, fairly straightforward. Portals(Enhanced) = A projectile that can be detonated to create a two way connection in space-time that can be of varying shapes or sizes. Portals can be made either in the air or on surfaces. Portals made on solid surfaces are very stable and take a good while to close if not closed manually while air based portals are unstable and will close a little bit after creation. Portals can be moved while they are open, but doing so reduces their lifespan. There can only be one pair of portals open at a time. Blink = Short range teleport that breaks the character free of bonds.
Backstory: A scientist interested in the knowledge that other worlds could bring, Marry decided that the wanton destruction of Homeworld was far too much to deal with, and rebeled to save a planet that looked like it had great potential. Plus Homeworld had stagnated pretty badly in general and wasn't that fun to be at anyway. And working for 4 space hitlers wasn't the greatest.
Other: Marry's room is something like a less lethal Aperture Science. Still not some place you wanna wander in carelessly though. Marry is pretty open to fusion, and has something of a waltz to fuse with others. Marry is very blunt about talking with others, and tends to have very little of a filter in her own mind. Though she comes off as nonchalant when talking about facts. Marry rarely ever takes a step, instead preferring to float everywhere. Marry is very very curious. Be careful about falling asleep near her!
Oh, my streaming site has the leaks now. Off to watch!
Saw all the episodes. Man. I can't spoil anything, but man. I wonder if things will get super smart after this. Its like watching a curve go up from already being high. Actually that worries me.
I normally love playing support and/or comedy characters, so I'm thinking that whatever I settle on for my secondary character should be something a little more serious than Quina.
Which will be hard.
Like, really hard.
I've got a suggestion for you. Saxton Hale. both serious AND silly!
