Archmage MC — Roleplayer Guild

A stealth mission! Light hadn't been with this 'liberation' team for very long. Heck, she was just found the day before! But they seemed like much nicer people than these hydra goons. Sure Hail Hydra was catchy and had great alliteration, but the people were cruel and Light couldn't stand that. 

Unlike a few of her other companions though, Light planted herself in the crowd. It took quite a bit of clothing to make herself seem normal, most notably a large almost cartoonish trenchcoat and hat/sunglasses combo. But people tended to shy away from her than ask questions, even the hydra goons tended to look her over unless they were relatively high ranked. She waited for the signal to make a move, and a bit after an explosion was heard, James was on the ground, the focus of attention while Kate, the one with the super hammer, flew down and did her thing. 

Taking this as the signal, Light put away her disguise, stuffing it into her pocket space, and jumped in as well. Unlike the others who were relatively human, Light looked like a monster. A cute one, but still not human. James was still the focus of attention though, and Light had to change that. And the best way would be to land in the middle of the hydra forces. She really wouldnt' be too useful for freeing mutants, without her disguise she'd stick out way more and she didn't have any way of getting them out of the area.

Figuring out a plan, Light slashed the air near her, the civilians near her having already fled, and popped out of a hole high in the sky. Plummeting to earth like a missile, Light landed with a loud yet dull thud on top of one of the Hydra soldiers. She was hoping to land on the ground, but considering this hydra soldier was covered in really spiky armor, this was far more painful. Course the Hydra soldier really didn't appreciate being landed on and was easily incapacitated, even if his armor saved him from fatal damage.

This definitely got the attention of quite a few soldiers though. And having a piece of spiky armor in your back doesn't make having to deal with gunshots all that more pleasant. Especially when some of those bullets went through Light, bounced off another hydra soldier's armor, and went into Light again. 

This didn't have the effect the soldiers wanted though, as no matter how much they shot her, Light didn't go down. And in the end they were left with a few empty guns, a few soldiers injured with friendly fire, and a white and blue lady who was already healing all the bullet wounds and pulling out the armor that was stuck in her back.

"C'mon. If you wanna hail the hydra, you guys have gotta be stronger than that! Have you sen a lady hydra?" Light said, moving over and overpowering one of the nearby hydra soldiers and using him as a half human shield half teddy bear. "You guys need more people shooting me! Its the only way to save Jimmy from a gruesome death by comedy!

If you want me to change her powerset's theme, just let me know. I can always make it more cartoon. It just gives her a few more small powers.

Appearance:
Light is a 1.8m tall pure white humanoid figure with a thin pear shaped frame. She has an overly large spherical head with short blue hair, no visible nose, very large black and yellow eyes, fin-looking ears, serrated beartrap like teeth, and an incredibly thin neck. She wears a blue tanktop with skinny biceps leading to larger forarms which flow into her nearly cartoonishly big hands which have pointed fingers. She has wide hips, which look even bigger due to the thin short white dress like thing she has which covers her back down to her lower knees and covers her front down to her kneecaps, with the front having an M cut taken out of it. Her legs look normal, short of her having no feet and instead her lower leg ends at a sharp point where her feet would be.

Personality:
Light's outward personality is very fun loving, outgoing, honest, and can be mistaken as airheaded at times and she tends to have a smile on her face almost constantly. While it is true she tends to not consider small consequences, which is apparent with how nihilistic she appears to be about most situations, she hides a sharp intellect. This is more on the Genre Savvy side of things than the technical, so while she can learn about tech, she really can't make any and instead is better at observations and general logic. Light tends to react poorly with authority if they don't show any respect to her. She keeps a very nice outlook on things and is very slow to anger unless its something she absolutely loathes.
Light loves anything that is fun and interesting, dislikes things that can bind or restrict her movements, and outright hates slavers or unjustifiably cruel people and has no qualms about killing things she hates. 
On the outside she is mostly a pacifist, tending to advert fighting or fight in a playful manner, defending her allies, or make friends with the combatants than fight for real. If she is forced to get serious, well.... Lets just say your gonna have a bad time. 

Brief History: A monster from a place she calls 'The Void', she was tired of how lowsy the monster world was and was far more interested in the human world. But unlike other monsters whos only goal seemed to take what they wanted and terrorize/kill people, Light figured there was a better way. After all, most monsters were stopped by a "Hero Association" and humans had a much better life in general, even with the monster attacks. They had instant ramen for crying out loud! 

So instead of being a rampaging monster much like others from the monster side of the world, she took a diplomatic approach and instead contacted the Hero Association and joined their ranks as a hero. This way she could have the good life at the cost of only needing to beat/kill/eat a few monsters every now and then. This didn't really phase her too much, most monsters were assholes anyway. Although she found that now she needed this thing called 'money' and that was a bit tricky to get as a former monster. though she wasn't ugly like most of the other monsters, and calls herself a toon, after the animated shows that appear on human TV sometimes. People like toons way more than monsters!

Abilities:

Void Bound: Light is bound to the Void instead of reality. This makes Reality see her as 'empty' and grants her various beneficial and harmful abilities.

Light is immune to small scale reality warping attacks or ones that affect her directly.
Light is highly resistant to time altering attacks, as in when time is altered, if she is damaged by who is altering time, she will attune herself to their timeline for a little while.
Light is immune to soul based magic, as hers is in the Void.
Light is unaffected by enchantments or spells that don't directly target her, even if they're beneficial.
Light experiences slightly different physics than everyone else. Anyone who sees this says she kinda looks 'cartoonish' with how she seems to be made out of rubber, gravity affects her a bit differently, and holes tend to be in her exact body shape when she crashes through stuff and the like. Oh, and she tend to squeak if squished like a chew toy.
Any attacks from reality affect her more than normal. Especially being bound or tied up by it. Drugs and Chemicals also have a drastically increased effect on her.
Light is extremely unlucky. We're talking so unlucky that it might as well be comedy at how bad it can be.


Void Energy: Since Light is bound to the Void, her life energy is replaced by Void energy. Void energy leaves a signal of 'emptiness' making scanning for her a bit different. if anything attempts to absorb Light's energy, they will instead lose their own energy at the absorption rate. She has a small amount of magic resistance. Any clones of Light will not last long as they have no link to the Void. Void beings are immune to the effects of Void energy. 

Regeneration: If an attack doesn't atomize Light, Light will fully regenerate from it after a short while. It doesn't matter what the injury was, even nasty ones such as having her mind shattered aren't permanent. The only way to stop her from doing this is to wipe her out entirely. She will regenerate from her head, or if that is unavailable, from the biggest piece of herself. She can still manipulate severed limbs for a short time after losing them unless they are severed using chemicals or she herself is bound. She doesn't age, nor does she bleed, and has amazing stamina. If Light is depressed, Regeneration happens at a much slower rate. 

Super Strength: Light has enhanced strength that is tied to her emotions or determination. While she can lift quite a bit when in a neutral or happy state, she is weaker than a normal human when sad or bound by an object of reality. Since Light rarely gets angry, its unknown how strong she can become. 

Adaptive Resilience: Upon taking damage from an attack, Light gain resistances to whatever hurt her, and with enough damage, can become immune to attacks of that type. Physical attacks take a long while to gain resistances for and Light can't gain a resistance to Chemical or Drug based attacks. If Light isn't forced to regenerate from a certain attack type after awhile, she will lose all resistances she built up against that damage type. Light's body will subtly morph to show what she is resistant to. Attacks that do no damage don't contribute to Light's resistance.
Light adapts quickly to surrounding terrain if its harmful to her, and will keep these adaptations until she leaves that terrain for a short time.

Reality Siphon: Since Light is from the Void, she steals the reality of the physical world. Light gives off a 'creepy' feeling when touched as she steals away the reality of the object or person shes touching. When an object has lost some reality, it is unable to gain energy from other sources but itself until its reality is restored. When Light isn't touching something, it regains its reality back after a short period depending on how much was lost, which is even faster for living things. If an object or enemy loses all of its reality, it fades into the Void, although beings with life energy take quite awhile to fade. Beings who can reality warp themselves have a massive resistance to this ability, as do massive or cosmic entities. Void beings are completely immune. This power can't be turned off and Light has no control over its intensity.

Pocket Space: Light can store objects inside a space inside her dress she calls 'pocket space'. Only inanimate objects can be stored here, and she can only store things that add up to thrice her size in total.

Portable Hole: Light can punch small personal wormholes and use them to teleport to any place in her sights or an extremely familiar place such as a base, an exit hole appearing at the spot she wants to teleport to. Should this exit hole not be placed on a solid object, Light will have a notable delay before she comes out of it. Only Light, things she wears, and objects stored in her pocket space can travel through these holes. These holes stay open for only a brief time.

Natural Weapons: Light's fingers end at sharp points that let her slash things. She likewise has sharp teeth much like a bear trap or shark and feet that come to very sharp points she can use. Since her feet are so sharp, she has to step delicately or leave little holes wherever she walks, and has a hard time maneuvering on non solid surfaces like snow, sand, mud, ext...


Skills/Combos:
Genre Savvy: Light is extremely good at picking up patterns, finding weak spots, and just generally able to understand what someone will do based on tropes they follow or subvert.

A Bad Time: Oh boy, whatever you did isn't good. Lights now out for your blood and she knows how to get it. Good luck!

Possible Goals?:
Light isn't all that complicated. All she wants to do is have fun, make friends, and to make sure everyone else can enjoy themselves and have fun. Though if pushed for a reason she would say she wants freedom for everyone who deserves it.

Other: Light can be distracted or talked down from a fight very easily, has a large appetite, and tends to want to have fun more than anything. Thankfully she finds the heroes life really fun. She tends to use different idioms than normal, like saying 'oh void' instead of 'oh god' and other things like that. When talking about what she is, she will refer to herself as a toon. She isn't afraid to say what she feels or thinks, and is open to new things.
The only time you might see her kill happy is if there are a ton of brainless zombies or ill-redeemable monsters. If she kills something, she tends to have a more 'middle earth' view of how to deal with the corpse, and might take a few bites out of it.
