Reminds me of Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones, and I approve since these days people tend to be averse to front-line tanking roles.
Accepted; you can post it to the character tab.

And on that note, I won't be accepting human characters any more.

@TeddyThePsycho
I'm glad of that, but I am disappointed that there hasn't been any full-blood griffin apps yet. I guess it's because of the weapon rules, so I'll make them a bit more lenient.
@Eodwyn Aether
Only very basic stuff, such as shortening a blade. It's accepted, and you can post it to the character tab.

@Handemere
Another noble? I guess peasants are boring people to play as, huh? The history, while sizable, doesn't really incorporate the setting in any way, and could basically be pasted onto any medieval/fantasy story, which I find lazy and uninspired. Also, while I assume the Levins were killed due to their poison trade, not only is it unclear, but that's really not a logical reason since they are living in an age of terror and paranoia, and the use of poison would be seen as an everyday part of life due to Kaaos' influence.

Her edginess and yandere tendencies will be played for laughs rather than seriousness, to contrast the more sugary characters. She's going to be the crazy/evil teammate that by the end will convert to the message of hope and friendship through shared experiences. As for power levels, I don't mind if she never wins any fights, since I planned her fighting style purely around her personality rather than any real strategy. She does her own thing and if that works, then good for her. If not, then hey, she gets the despair she craves.

Hmm, a ranger-ish character with blacksmithing skills...I'm fine with that that, but with the condition that he only has enough professional skill to reliably repair and modify weapons, not forge them. Also, I'll only allow the dagger to be enchanted. His history is very good though, I'll commend you for that. Once those changes are made I'll accept it.
@Monochromatic
Hey, thanks for sharing interest. Basically, any major feature of the three races (such as flying for griffins, magic for djinns and strength for humans) is diminished with half-breeds to the point they could hardly be used in combat. For example, a griffin-human crossbreed would have atrophied wings that would only let them glide for short distances, even less if they've built up any muscle, and their only weather-manipulation ability would be to walk on clouds. Djinn-humans would still have the basic telekinesis magic, but their specialized magic would be only for mundane use: a fire-magic specialist could only put on a campfire or cook, a healing-magic user could disinfect wounds but not actually close them, etc. And while they would have arms, they would be stubby ones like a T-Rex would have.

There's also the fact that in the setting, half-breeds would be considered vile abominations, and are shunned by society.

A good rule of thumb for roleplaying here is that you first read the site's rules if you haven't done so already in addition to any rules Game Masters may have set for their own roleplays, most often set in their thread's opening posts. Another good tip is that you can use the Personal Messaging feature to message posts and character sheets to yourself so you can save them for later use; there's been times when I've made long posts but the site was malfunctioning, resulting in the work lost. Nowadays that shouldn't really happen anymore, but I still keep backups of my own posts just in case.

The site's divided to three subforums: Free is where everything goes in terms of posting quality and quantity including oneliners, reaction-posts and the like, and grammar is not an issue. Casual, where this RP is in, has adequate standards: there's no major problems with grammar, and posts are usually a couple of paragraphs if not more. Advanced is where more ambitious people write their stories, but don't let anyone fool you into thinking it's elitist or anything; it's collaborative short story or novel writing, but it can accept people who are willing to put more work to their writing. There's also other sections, but you can discover them for yourself.

As for making a character sheet and writing in general: you can check out what characters have already been accepted in the Characters-tab. If you write something of similar quality and length it's most likely going to be accepted if I don't find any major faults with it.

Edit: If you're going to post a character sheet, post it here first. After it's accepted it can be posted in the character tab.
@Eodwyn Aether
Welcome to the site! If there's anything you would like to ask about feel free to do so.
@Blizz
There was no mention in your post that it was WIP. Interesting that you drew parallels to Golden Sun, since I haven't played that series.
@Blizz
The sheet's grammar has to be fixed. I don't mind Djinns using weapons, but I can't accept one who "easily" uses a scythe with metal-cutting power; the very concept of weaponry is alien to the Djinn, so they would always have some difficulty in wielding them through magic. Also, if the character uses ice magic, you have to be more descriptive and detailed about it. The history section doesn't have to be long, but there must be something to it that describes the character. Finally, I'm pretty sure you can find a bigger picture than that.
