Actually, I can think of several equally good places, including Switzerland, Singapore, and South Korea. Ignoring the fact that they all start with S, Switzerland, Singapore, and South Korea are economic havens. South Korea has no real danger from North Korea, since it has a superior army despite hardly spending anything on it. And as a sysadmin my dad would do great there, or even in Singapore.

*As the city's defense systems try to shoot us down with various types of projectiles, we frequently and spontaneously change our speed and angle to avoid being hit. Eventually, we touch down at the crash site and look around, seeing no emergency teams have arrived yet. We're the only ones there*
Alright, let's spread out and search the wreckage.
Sage: I'll try to make my way up to the bridge. That'd be the best place to start.
Zach: Keep in mind we have three people to find. Mind that not all of then will be friendly.
Zyland: I'll keep a lookout. Shout at me if you guys need something.
*Flies up to the highest point in the rubble and wreckage and stands upon it, looking around*
-*Everyone fans out and starts to clear debris, some of it still on fire*

Sven: What're you doing?!
Vex: *Continues to fire at the various consoles and things*
Sven: *His armor folds up and around him, and he grabs the controls he was standing over and tries to pull up*
Vex: *Stops*
You may want to buckle up.
Sven: Why?!
Vex: I need the ship to get me down there, since it's the only thing that can hide this. I don't necessarily need for it to be piloted.
Sven: *Growls and tries harder to pull the ship out of the atmosphere*
Vex: Hold on to something.
*Grabs a nearby terminal and holds on tight. An explosion rocks the ship and Leon is knocked off balance by it, evident by his stumbling and scrambling for the nearest console to grip*
Leon: You're insane!
Vex: No. I'm doing what has to be done.
Sven: When we get down there, I'll-
*Another explosion is heard, and the bridge window is busted completely open and Sven is sucked out of the ship, and is seen very rapidly tumbling and flipping through space before being passed by the ship. Leon is turned around now, holding o on to the console so that he doesn't join Sven*
Vex: Let go! You need to go now before you can't leave at all!
Leon: *Turns to Vex and looks at him for a moment. As the viewing camera is attached to his head, the camera turns with him. Just briefly after he turns, a larger and louder explosion rocks the ship and a large piece of metal debris impales Vex in the right side of his chest, pinning him to the floor. Another subsequent explosion rocks Leon off balance, and all that can be seen now is the camera very rapidly tumbling through space*

*Raises my gun*
Sven: What, you're going to shoot me? Take the ship?

Vex: *Aims next to Sven and fires a continuous beam of plasma into the consoles and machines in the bridge*
