"Uh. Okay," Pyre answered and began to move off in the direction of the town gate.

She wasn't sure what to make of the situation. Was the girl on to the ploy? Was she simply bored? The important thing was that she was coming. Toryn could deal with her.
"Wow. You must be really tough." Pyre praised Jono, "I thought we'd need a whole party! I'm super impressed."

Pyre hated pretending to be the energetic moron newbie but that seemed to get the best results out of prospective victims.

"It's not far. I'm Pyre by the way. I can't see your name but I'm pleased to meet you. Is that a rogue thing? I'm a sorceress by the way. I do fire."
"Well, there is the treasure chest," Pyre reminded her, "I'm sure there will be something great in there for you. You can keep whatever is in there. I just need the XP!

"Heck!" She added, bouncing on her bare toes in a way that made her bracelets and anklets jingle, "I'd be happy with whatever you throw away when you find something better!"
Pyre's gaze fell upon a player. You could tell a player by how they moved even if you didn't peek at their gamer tags. In particular it was the eyes. NPCs didn't notice things unless they were supposed to. Further, NPCs were usually very predictable and static.

Seeing a prospective player she made her approach, hoping to lure her into the trap. Hopefully she would have some good loot that would make Toryn happy.

Pyre's name over her head if checked wasn't even yellow but a solid green, indicating she wasn't a player killer. The thief's ability to gauge someone's power level indicated Pyre was decently pathetic as a first level mage should be.

"Hiya!" She called out cheerfully, "Wanna party up? I found a treasure chest but I can't quite get to it. The monsters are too tough for me right now."
Sarah couldn't get over the detail in the experience. She gazed at her olive coloured skin, marveled at the red scarves that served as her clothing. Pyre, her fire sorceress character, was first level and was just starting out.

Pyre's bare feet slipped softly across the cobblestone of the town. Here was a safe zone. Technically one couldn't die here or engage in combat or anything but she'd learned that want exactly true. There were sneaky tricks around that and if she didn't find some poor victim and lure them out Toryn the Rotten was going to kill her.
