Okay, short post, but this should move things around.
Gungnir eyed the newcomer, who was now standing in top of the car for a brief second. "Thanks lad, but no." He replied solemnly. "This is a crime scene. And I can't just leave without the proper procedure. Deliriction of Duty and that." His hands seized the gun and gritted his teeth. His second clip was about to go empty. Well, he had to make do with whatever was avalailable. "You lads and lasses pull out. I will cover your bums. It's my job, after all." His gaze narrowed. At least that smug brat had done something correctly, which was suppression fire. Albert sprung out of his cover immediately, as he saw the woman stunned and temporally blind staggering, uttering profanities. His cuffs spun in one hand, and with a firm movement, latched on one of the woman's wrists, followed by a fast tug on her other arm, which was also caught in the cuffs.

"You're under arrest, love." The police offer added, before giving her a final push with one of his legs into the ground. Well, she could complain about police brutality later. Ethereal projectiles zipped past him, as her minions decided to fire their hi tech guns at him. Luckily for Gungnir those things did seem very clunky and more like stunners. If they had stuck to the old rifles, they would probable have got him. The veteran soldier turned cop zipped under cover again, having grabbed the woman's prototype weapon on his way back.

And it was then when his radio sprung to life. "Officer Wolfe, the cavalry is here." The communication device cracked, followed by the tell-tale sound of an helicopter zooming past by, an intense floodlight bathing the scene. Sirens could finally be heard. They were here. His reinforcements at long last.
@AtomicNut I'll take that I was about to propose a weapon with one of those ridiculously spelt Irish names

Feel free. The more the merrier.
@AtomicNut Though I am tempted to add another female, because the ones you've listed don't seem to be fairing too well

Well Excalibur is about to become Queen of England lol. I think that is faring better than most.
Some tidbits I am thinking of Gungnir's past which may or may not mention in next post.

Codenames of his fellow comrades.

1-Dainslef, the cursed Sword (Sweden) - The leader of the lot, and the one with the highest military awards. A scientist and a soldier, Dainslef is currently Missing after being dismissed. Rumour says his neverending hatred towards the Epics and the New World has led him into forbidden researches.
2-Excalibur, the Sword of Kings (UK) - A Welshwoman, specialist in armored vehicles and Navy. Currently helping to reestablish order in the United Kingdom, and also a bethroded of the Royal Family. She and Gungnir can't stand eachother.
3-Gungnir, spear of Odin (UK) - Marksman specialist.
4-Ruyi Bang, the Compliant Staff (China)- A female specialist in infiltration and shadow operations. KIA.
5-Vajra, the Thunderbolt(India) - A male astronaut and pilot, specialist in airfighting and transport operations. Currently active, but on unknown location.
6-Kusanagi, the Grass Cutter (Japan) - A demolitions and artillary specialist, she had been fitted with cybernetic implants in 70% of her body. Currently on palliative care as the implants malfunctioning have caused irreversible multi organic damage.

...Feel free to shoot it down or even suggest more people. (The rules are simple, Human, ridiculously skilled in one field, and named after a legendary weapon).
It was a done deal already. Both Sunfield sisters did not even attempt to overturn the plan or change it. Indeed, with so many people involved, little could be done about that. 'Nero's' stomach churned in disgust to see the common folk used in that way, huddled in a caravan, but the powergames between the nations could mean that any wrong step would scalate in friction between factions. Still, things could be done. Among the folk, there was a Reonite priest who was eager to help the knight's whims. And both 'Sult' and herself had concocted a plan to help them even further.

Both were undercover as acolytes of Reon. For 'Sult', it wasn't difficult to look the part, given she had training as priestess, but the eagerness of the priests' daughter had been tricky to deal with. Well, nothing she could have handled on her own, after all, the girl who wanted to play knight was her own reason for existing. She had swung a couple of times, and gave her a couple of tips.

'Nero' for the most part, was taciturn, posing nearby the captain worried for her safety, under the acolyte garbs of Reon. She looked somber, and eyed every crevice in the road searching for ambush signs. No one in the knights seemed to like the situation.

Meanwhile, 'Sult' was slightly more relaxed, if only because watching a certain half-giant knight carting several children around. She couldn't help herself and made her voice be apparent. "You know, you do remind me of a certain someone in the Black Ravens." she directed to Salz.

What was Mariah doing these days, she wondered.
Circe held the map, frowning. Navigating these modern cities was nightmarish. Once upon a time, the entire population of Greece could fit inside a single district of the capital. Now, Athena's own city had swelled to unrecognizable levels. And she still didn't know how to use those cellphone gizmos, which she thought it was the reason why people didn't get lost.

She briefly considered doing magic divination to find her way quickly, but she refrained to do so. Magic could potentially draw a lot of unwanted attention. The old witch simply resigned to finding her way in the traditional way: Asking a locale. She found her victims readily. There was a mixed group of youths whose members did look foreign alongside a young local man.

<"Excuse me."> She said in a fluent but slightly odd and archaic greek. <"Do you know where this place is supposed to be?"> She pointed at the map, readily, as she focused her gaze on Demitrius.

Wait. Wasn't one of them that Salem Cult leader upstart? She thought as she sideglanced at one of the women there. Well, she didn't have for this. She was on her way for a business meeting.
Allo?
@Mercenary Lord I can't control Regan when Teagan's not there... since she's a shared NPC I left you and @AtomicNut to decide when to use her to resolve the situation.

Well next post was going to be i so you are welcome to go ahead and save me the job of more npc.
