Cinna grinned upon seeing frustration take root in Aeschel's expression "Like I said, Gotta pay attetion." Cinna didn't know what to make of his next comment. Like a knight in the fairy-tales? She silently shook her head at the notion despite it feeling good to be called so, given her imperfect past "Oh yes, it's a white one with a golden saddle." She replied sarcastically grinning even more. Her lips pursed as she slowly nodded up and down, feigning a deep understanding "I see, I see..." Repressing her smile down to a more serious look.

Once again, Aeschel demonstrated he was sharper than he gave off. Everything he was saying made sense, though Cinna tended to simply trust her guts on most matters. The fact that he seemed to be a little awkward about his weapon only served to peak Cinna's interest "A what? Bow and a double-bladed sword?" She leaned to the side to try and get a better look at the weapon compacted on his back. Hers was in storage. "That's certainly unique. Most people tend to like guns modes better." She shrugged, not having a strong opinion on that matter "It's a little more elegant than a gatling gun I guess." Laughter came from her, Cinna had designed her weapon with striking heavy blows in mind.
Cinna took no offense to Aeschel pointing out that her hands had a rough quality to them, she was actually proud of it. She glanced down as she felt his thumb brush briefly over her hand, normally she would have pulled it away but he had been kind so far. Closely she listened to him as he began to ramble, apparently trying to ascertain the nature of her weapon. With each passing semi-sentence, he got surprisingly close. A slightly pained looked appeared in her features as she took her hand away "Oooh, so close! Everything else was pretty spot on but it's a lance, not a javelin." She corrected him now smiling once more.

"Huh, I guess there is brain up there..." She joked as she knocked lightly on the top of his head, a bit of reach due to their height difference. He seemed really interested in weapons while Cinna was more interested in how to use them "What weapon do you use?" She asked in return.
Her head turned back to the room they had left, she had felt something similar as well "Crowds aren't my thing either." She replied casually. Unless, she was trying to pickpocket something but that was in her past now. Cinna kept smiling as he mentioned doing worse stuff to his tail, giving her the impression that he was perhaps a bit air-headed. Golden eyes watched carefully as he simply twisted his tail, the sound of cracking not phasing her in the slightest "Seems like you should take better care of it." The smile shifted more into a smirk.

Cinna's gaze drifted to the window, from the air the world below seemed so small. Squirrel boy spoke again grabbing her attention. Aeschel? She let out a small laugh at the firm hand he extended to her. Her hand extended as a fist and bumped the top and bottom of his hand casually before finally grabbing his hand in a strong handshake. She hoped he didn't mind that her hand was not as soft as other girls "Cinna. Cinna Arelle. Nice to meet you as well." Her voice carried a confidence to it. This Aeschel seemed skittish but he also quite funny, and possibly Cinna's first real friend she hoped.
From the expression he bore, Cinna was sure that her approach had made him quite nervous. No matter how hard she tried being friendly she still found it to be difficult. This was no longer the hard-streets she once patrolled so she had to remind herself that not everyone was as hard-hearted as she was.

A quick nod was her reply to his gratitude, though she felt she was forgetting a key phrase..."You're welcome." She quickly recalled, her smile growing by a bit as her hands returned behind her back. For being such a tall guy, he was rather light she noted. Against what was probably appropriate, she giggled at the rather lame excuse he gave "They are pretty spotless." She decided to humor him. Her golden eyes glanced at his tail, her left hand coming out and pointing at it "You didn't break it, did you?" She asked curiously.

Cinna didn't the feeling of vulnerability that came with the ride on the airship, there were too many factors outside of her control to allow her to get comfortable. She would not be able to relax until her feet met solid ground, but even then there were so many unknown faces. A long, deep breath escaped her lips as she closed her eyes for a brief moment "Step by step..don't force it all at once.." She whispered to herself. The few months leading up to this had shown her a more gentle side of the world. Peace could exist...it was just that sometimes you had to struggle for it.

She followed a group of students from the back as they moved into another room with windows to view the land below. That was when she heard the thud of something hitting glass followed by a harder one as it hit the ground. With the crowd now dispersed, She was able to see what, or rather who, had been making so much noise. It was hard not to noticed the rather large tail as she approached, she had met plenty of faunas in Mistral but somehow he looked particularly odd. Cinna strutted in front of him and faced him with hands behind her back, leaning over as she looked him in eyes. A slight smile on her lips as his remark "You gotta pay attention first." She replied a tad teasingly then brought her right hand towards him for him to grab.

The huntsman who saved her taught that you had to be the change you wished to see in others. Cinna has since tried doing something she was not entirely comfortable doing everyday. It has paid off for the most part in adjusting her view on the world.

Arton crouched over the remains of the skeleton he had just finished, picking up anything worthwhile. He examined the decayed armor and bones trying to tell if this was one of their missing soldiers or just a spawn of the dungeon. Whether he managed to find answers or not, he rose back up to a standing position as Sampson called them to regroup. He decided not to correct the knight that what they faced inside of the dungeon would likely be far more dangerous than a few shambling skeletons. The man seemed keen on upholding his sense of authority.

He walked close behind Rio, who was in the front, with weapons still in hand. There were sometimes 'safe havens' in these dungeons but finding them was quite rare so he wouldn't let down his guard. Arwyn he could tell was for some reason ashamed, perhaps because of her first arrows doing nothing against the skeleton's magical resistance. Before he could say anything, she seemed to slip into the very darkness of the dungeon itself.

His eyes adjusted quickly to the dim lighting of the dungeon as he overheard the young boy talking to the woman referred to as Nanda. A princess? He recalled her casting some spell on him earlier and he could feel some kind of boost in his muscles "Is that true? Are you really a princess?" He asked curiously, turning his head back a little to talk. It was a shame really that he was so poor at picking up on sarcasm.

Thinking back on the dungeon, Arton wanted to see if they could follow the trail of blood. It may be able to lead to more clues, but for now he readied his shield as Rio kicked down the door blocking their way.

His silver eyes slowly opened, using his menu to glance at the time. A soft groan came from him at how early he had woken up. Damn Alisea, this is your fault. He thought. His body had been getting used to waking up at that insensibly early time that she seemed to waked up at. He sat up in bed, the sheets sliding down to his waist, and slid the sleep out of his eyes. A hot bath immediately came to mind so he would have at least something to stimulate his body and make waking up not so harsh. When he had finished that, he noticed how tattered his clothing was now he put it back on. Without the rest of his equipment on, its poor condition was apparent.

A heavy sigh left his lips as he made his way downstairs, where Alisea was no doubt waiting for him. His guess was correct as he spotted the magess and approached her. The two went to his usual table to continue the conversation from last night and hopefully resolve any outstanding issues.

It was a familiar scene: Alisea and Reylan sat across from each other at a small, wooden table. Empty food plates were pushed to the side; Clarabell would clear them away next time she passed by. The small cafe held few patrons this early in the morning, affording the pair some welcome privacy. A light hum of background noise resonated in the narrow space, just loud enough to mask their conversation from anyone a few tables away.

Alisea was watching Reylan, wondering if he would speak first. She was smiling, of course; this time it was a faintly teasing smile as she gazed into his wondrous, silver eyes.

The silvered hair archer found it difficult to look Alisea in the eyes when she smiling like that, though he made a strong effort to as he spoke. He did not appear to be as upset as he was last night “Last night you mentioned being concerned for more, what did you mean by that?” He spoke meeting her gaze, curiosity in his voice.

Alisea shut her eyes and let her smile drift to neutral. ”I have to apologize. I… intended to say something… wrong. To tell you to keep your concerns to yourself. But…” Opening her eyes, Alisea grinned at her guildmaster. ”That would be very wrong indeed. You worry for all of us, and you only find more people to concern yourself over. So when I said more, I meant… well, I meant that you should always be you. Keep worrying for us. But Reylan… I want you to know that we worry for you, too.”

Talrae had changed for him the moment he stepped up as leader of their party. That sense of adventure he had that first day had withered with responsibility. It was his tragic flaw, always putting others in front of his own desires. Reylan looked down at the table for a few moments, before glancing back up. “I’m glad to hear that you’re looking out for me, it..means a lot,” he replied. “I’ve been so concerned with being a better leader that I’ve stopped trying to be a player…” There was nothing but honesty in his words. “It would be nice just to let it go for even a few hours.”

”Then let’s do that!” Alisea replied enthusiastically. ”We can leave dungeon raiding for a few days. That fellow you met last night, Xenos, was looking for help with the iron mine quest, right? Everyone who goes with him will be gone until the festival. Until then, we can do something just for fun!”

Reylan seemed to perk up a little at the suggestion “That sounds great!” He then suddenly realized who he was dealing with “..Wait, what kind of ‘fun’?” he asked suspiciously. She had a habit of messing with him given the chance.

”Nothing that would threaten our lives,” Alisea reassured. ”We can start with a shopping spree using our newfound wealth. After, I think we should check the offered quests. Something interesting may have come up while we were preparing for that dungeon.”

A quick sense of relief came and passed. ”We might even get lucky and get one that pays well. We should have Aster come with too,” Reylan suggested. The three of them should be able to handle anything in the quest. Plus, he enjoyed when the three of them were together.

The presence of Jack behind him encouraged him to hold strong against the skeleton attackers, when the first was obliterated by an attack that damaged the other two. Now that they were off him, he re-adjusted his grip on his sword and shield. He laughed at the indication to use fire "I would if I had any." Arton spoke aloud, the only fire he had was the one that burned in his soul. The un-dead with the axe seemed to wish to try its chances at his defense once more, a welcome challenge if it wasn't for the poor state of the creature.

He lifted his trusted shield above him at an angle to absorb the strike, meanwhile swinging his sword upwards starting from his left-side waist and across to dismember the arm that held the weapon. If he managed to accomplish that, he would push for a frontal kick into the Skeleton's chest with all of his strength. Arton might not be agile like a rouge or a ranger, but he was fast with his sword and shield.

Reylan couldn't help but smile at River's inherent aura of energy, he really seemed to enjoy talking. It was easy to see that River was a nice guy and honestly, another healer wouldn't hurt the next time they did a dungeon run. There was really only set rule right now for getting into his guild, you had to get along with the other members and not be a complete jerk. Low standards maybe but they would not turn down people willing to fight to end this death game. With a friendly smile, he pressed 'accept' when the option came for the friend request "A bit too well perhaps." He laughed softly

The man he believed to be Xenos wandered over to Reylan's table, just from looking at him the guild-master could tell he had a bit too much to drink. Nevertheless, Reylan's philosophy stood that as long as he wasn't rude there was not a problem "Yeah, what do you need?" He asked with a amused, faint smile. Alisea might have said something to him but Reylan was more laid back, perhaps a little too much so. It kinda suprised him that Chari could drink that much, she seemed around his age. He blinked at being called beautiful, it wasn't a compliment he heard before. The only thing he really understood was that Xenos needed iron for something, he supposed it was something the guild could do but would it really be worth it? So far, the guild did not have a tinkerer so maybe Reylan could recruit him instead "I have a counter-offer, we'll get your iron but you'll join the Legion of the Wolf as well as crafting items for us." He smiled at him

His attention shifted back to River as he departed "Alright, see you around!" He responded. It was almost impossible not to notice Lehariel as she bust through the front doors, uttering some boastful proclamation. Reylan did think that it was somewhat cool. It was cool that she could be so confident about herself without fear. He slowly turned his attention back to Xenos "How about it, join my guild and you'll get your iron." He said this a little more confidently.
