Keira secured the satchel to her that held some of her medical supplies, a red cross stitched on the olive canvas. It was only thanks to Commander Erwin and Captain Levi that she even had permission to carry it with her on the field. Her left hand clutched the bag to her side as she prepared to leave the rooftop she was on when she heard it. Heavy footsteps that every member of the Scout Regiment could recognize from several meters out. Her heart began to quicken the closer it got. She slid both of her blades out of their sheathes, but it was already too late.

The sound of high-pressure gas hissing behind her caused her to look back, only to just catch Sara soaring over head. Just like the angel everyone called her. For a few moments, she simply stared in awe before the titan that had been coming her way was cut down. Snapping back to reality, she nodded towards Sara even if she wouldn't see it. Keira pushed off the balls of her feet and launched her hooks forwards at a tower that jutted up from one of the buildings. The way she landed her hooks had her shooting over the top, performing a spin as she crested over the tower and launched them once more.

All the titans had to give humanity was pain and suffering. That was why she decided to join the Scout Regiment in the first place. There was only so much she could do with stitches and some pain relievers. Her time in the Scout Regiment had been relatively short, but she had already grown up quite a bit from being a cadet. The vibrations of a titan's footsteps reverberated in her eardrums. It was time to carry her own weight in this fight.

As she drew closer, she used her ODM gear to zoom between the buildings low enough to practically touch the ground with her hand. She shot only one hook onto the building that marked the corner of the street, and used her momemtum to swing her self around the corner with lighting speed and up in the air. The grotesque face of the monster before did not slow her down. She quickly shot both of her hooks into its legs, effectively allowing her to slip through and launch high in the air behind it. There she spun around and began her twirl of death, slicing cleanly through the nape of the neck.

Keira just noticed how badly her hands were shaking, how her heart beat heavily against her chest. Knowing it wasn't safe to remain on the ground too long, she returned to the nearest rooftop to survey the situation around her. With the breach sealed, the number of titans in Trost began to dwindle. It was only a matter of time before they secured the area. After assuring her immediate vicinity was safe, she knelt on the ground and placed her bag in front of her.

Meticulously she checked each and every one of the contents, notably the injectors for the home-brewed stimulant and pain-reliever she made. These were two of the most important items in her bags, besides the tourniquets and bandages. A single dose of either could give a soldier the ability to either fight on or move to a safer place. Silently, she wondered how Sara was doing. Keira doubted she would ever need her services.
Bodies of both civilians and fellow soldiers littered the broken district of Trost, all visible from Kiera's vantage point on top of a roof. It was only five years ago that her old home was obliterated by these monsters along with several of her old friends. However, she couldn't afford to dwell on their memory when the man she was currently hovering over needed her immediate assistance. A garrison soldier, named Allen, had already lost enough blood and was missing most of his arm.

He coughed harshly "D-Don't...worry about me. At the very least...I get to die seeing a lovely face." His laugher was cut off by another cough but with this one came a splurt of blood. Her bright blue eyes darkened upon the realization he was indeed a goner. Internal Bleeding. Her relatively short time in the Scout Regiment forced her to understand when and who she could save. Sadly, this man was not one of them. Instead, she gripped his remaining hand and looked him in the eyes "Don't be afraid. Nothing will hurt you anymore. You will be free." Her soft words of comfort seemed to eased the man's worry, and he nodded once. A mere four seconds later, the last light of life vanished from his peaceful eyes.

A single tear was shed from both eyes as she felt the strength in his arm go limp. Carefully, she laid the hand across his chest and moved her hand up to his eyes where she closed them shut. It was never easy watching someone die under her care, even though there was little she could do with titans still lurking about. That was when she heard the near ear-pounding roar of one such monster a few buildings away. She turned her head to see Sarah move to the back of its neck and immediately put it down with a grace befitting of one with her skill. Ever since she joined the Scout Regiment, Kiera had looked up to her for the strength she displayed...wishing that even a small part of that would rub off on her.

Her eyes spotted the human-titan hybrid being carried away. In her mind, she was still unsure what to even think about it. It didn't make any sense, how could a person become one of those monster?!? They did seal the breach however, and that made her hope that it was good omen. Now the task of cleaning up this district fell to the Scout Regiment and what remained of the Garrison forces here. She would make sure to take one down for Allen...and all the innocent lives lost here.

Personality:
Keira is shy, quiet, and often finds it difficult to interact with people she doesn't know. However, hidden underneath this soft, humble, and caring exterior, is someone who is truly brave, hard-working, selfless, reliable, and always doing what she can to keep herself and her comrades safe; she’ll go as far as to risk her life for them. Violence has always been her last resort, and she will always try negotiating verbally before surprising them with her abilities.

Even though Keira is quite observant, in regards to examining her surroundings, she’s not so great at examining people. Despite her many interactions, she tends to fail on picking up sarcasm, innuendos, and the most obvious hints that someone may be interested in her. This is mainly due to the fact that she drastically undervalues her own self-worth, but she does sometimes rely on looking up to certain individuals, in order to strengthen her self-esteem. Outside of very close friendships, friends, the mere acting of touching anywhere but her hands causes her body to tense up greatly.

Her physical appearance, as well as her kind and bubbly nature, has drawn many people to her. However, she’s quite anxious, and can be easily overwhelmed when too many look and speak to her at the same time, which often times leads in having mini-breakdowns. This often leads to her spending much of her free-time by herself, where she either reads or writes in a personal diary. No matter what bothers Keira, she will always push it down in order to help someone else, even if they just need a ear to listen. The only time Kiera will get angry is if someone is being mean to someone she knows or they tease her a little too hard. Her attitude can also quickly change into a rather strong and aggressive one when dealing with a patient.

Abilities:
Omni-Directional Mobility Gear & Blade-Wielding : Kiera is comparable to that of a dancer on the battlefield when it comes to her use of the omni-directional mobility gear; her small size and flexible body frame allows her to maintain speed and momentum in times of combat. This does not, however, extend in the use of her blades, having to mainly regard on movement alone. Her skill with bladed weaponry is only slightly above average, but she is currently trying to improve.

Olympic-Level Agility/Reflexes : Even without her ODM gear, Kiera can still perform movements that others can’t do. Even in Titan form, she can still move at really fast speeds, and use her incredible reflexes to perform landings that would leave some hurt, making her a very deadly foe. To make up for her relative lack of strength, Kiera also utilizes her acrobatics in hand-to-hand combat. She claims that this is all the result of her belief: "A healthy body leads to a healthy mind."

Medical Expertise/Intuition : Before joining the military, Kiera was the apprentice of a prominent doctor. He passed along much of his medical intellect onto her, along with an entire assortment of her own tools. She has since used this skill to help her allies in the military by healing their wounds, and prepare treatments on the fly.

Keen Intellect/Researcher : Kiera possesses varying degrees of knowledge on most subjects, and is always looking into the unknown. She takes what she learns, and tries to utilize it in practical application, most often involving the development of new medications/stims/treatments. This also gives her the knowledge on what to look for when investigating a particular subject.

The Titan Within : Deep within Kiera, waiting to be released, lies the power of the Fast Titan. Unknown to her, this power was obtained sometime in her youth, and yet, she remains unaware of its existence. Standing tall at twelve meters, she is the second-smallest of the Intelligent Titans, and the fastest out of all of them, hence her “Fast Titan” name. She also harbors the ability to emit steam at will, similar to the Colossal Titan.

The creaking of the duckboards were brought to his attention just before a soft pressure was felt on his right shoulder. He only turned his head slightly in response, his body remaining in the same position with his left hand on the underside of his rifle's barrel ready to surge over the top like a force of nature. He gave a single, firm nod to the girl ignoring the what could be read as a offense. Instead he looked at her from her head to her feet back to her face, his face unchanging like a mask, as if looking for a weakness. Daniel hoped that she would not slow him down "Daniel." He simply stated, extending his rough hand to shake hers in an almost crushing grip. Kalisa being a Darscen meant nothing to him, as there were more than a couple in his old gang. There would be little point giving out his first name if she bit the dust in a few minutes. Afterwards, he returned to looking at the top edge of the trench "We must do anything to complete our objective and survive. The enemy will do anything to stop us. I am preparing to do whatever it takes, and so should you." The way he said this came off harsher than intended. Daniel knew what kind of brutal acts of violence humans could to each other, so why would war be any different?

The look on some of the soldiers who looked to be here more than a day...was what had him on edge most of all. Daniel could feel it in his gut that something awful was going to happen when they went over this trench, though he couldn't possible imagine the reality he would soon face.

Once the sarge came down the trenches telling each soldier to shut it, he knew that it had begun. The words of the LT that followed did nothing to sway Daniel's morale, not entirely convinced about duty to the Federation and Humanity. However, he could agree on one part of what he said: The Imperials would be destroyed by Daniel's hand. Just like a game of King of the Hill, Daniel would be the one standing at the top victorious. He watched completely unmoved as Middleton forced his ridiculous orders on some girl who could barely hold herself together. It was as he thought, however. Each and every one of them were simply pawns in a larger game and fully expendable. If that was the conditions for this game, so be it.

As Daniel affixed the bayonet to his rifle, he could feel his heart beating faster in his chest. A tool that made his rifle deadlier in close quarters, and one he would be sure to make full use of. For the first time since entering the military, Daniel reflected on the moments in his past that brought him here. A broken home where he wasn't wanted, an early life of crime on the streets, and lastly the loss of the only person that showed him unconditional love. How many people would have taken their life by now? Would he have been justified in doing so he wondered. That was not who he was. If he let every tragedy bring him closer to the edge, he would have fallen off years ago. No matter how broken he became, it was his ultimate defiance to life and the universe at whole to continue living at any cost.

The sharp whistle and loud yelling of the Lieutenant broke him from his rare self-reflection. He turned towards Kalisa, the shock-trooper who tried to calm his nerves even if she had been mistaken "I'll keep us alive, just don't get in my way." He stated bluntly as he got in line to climb ladders that lead over the trench.

Flashes of light and splashes of blood filled his vision as he reached the top, breaking off into a full sprint the moment he was off the ladder. Yelling and screaming filled the dense air, saturated with the smells of the dead and dying. The sweet feeling of adrenaline pumping into his bloodstream allowed him to press forward through the hellish landscape. Nothing he ever saw on the streets of Ancaster compared to the sight of those first minutes of battle and would be burned into his memory until his last breath. He couldn't stop to think about anything else except for the enemy before him and his orders. The only option was to keep moving, since staying still would only get himself killed. More than once he stepped on strange terrain only to find out it was a body of a soldier who tried before them.

Daniel made his way ahead of Jean, his legs more used to running for his life than the write it seemed. It was hard not to notice the fear in the lance-corporal's eyes as he moved past. The last thing he wanted to do was follow in the footsteps of a leader who could not bring himself together. Meanwhile, Daniel would pave the way for his fellow soldiers while Jean got a grip. All he had to do was get in close, and the ones responsible for this massacre would pay.
Voltaire stood in place as he remarked the all-female party with two different kinds of interest. The first was awe and admiring of a clearly more veteran group of adventurers, their equipment looked so much better and cooler than what he had to work with. The second was purely a response to their looks, especially the human who had his heart running a little faster than it did before. It took him some deal of restraint not to simply gawk like some kind of creep.

The prum made him let out a single, quiet laugh as she called Koph 'cute'. It was not that Voltaire didn't agree but it was amusing to have someone say in such a way. Listening to them, it was clear that they were pretty close....something he wanted to share with Koph one day. Today was a good start to their relationship, he thought, but he hoped they could become best friends. Of course not a word of this would ever be spilled to her directly.

Voltaire did his best to preserve their names in the back of his mind where he wouldn't forget them. However, he honestly didn't ever hear of one of them previously. It was then time for their time to speak in the conversation it seemed. Pride bade him answer before Koph got a chance to, taking a more steady posture as he spoke

"My name is Voltaire and this is Koph." He gestured to her then continued speaking "We are from the Amaterasu Familia." His voice carried with it the energy and pride of a new adventurer. The difference was that his came from years of having nothing while dreaming of this day. Each beat of his heart was faster and faster as the gaze of the women adventurers came down upon him.

A empty looked filled the battered and weathered features of Lucius's face, the realization must have hit him of what kind of power he was dealing with. Despite the speed the traveled at, there was not a sound from Lucius. However, once on solid ground once more he collapsed onto the floor. The color of his face went pale not from blood loss, but from the sheer majesty of the cathedral. The speed at which Star descended might have also had minor in that as well. This would not be the only surprise to startle him.

Lucius watched with wide, crimson eyes as Tatter reformed in front of his very eyes. He shook his head, as if he was beginning to doubt his own sight. When tatter asked for his identity, he very weakly spoke "I-I am King Lucius, of the Dre-" Tatter interrupted him with her reaction to his poor state. From there, he looked on in growing annoyance as he was ignored.

The soldiers and even the captain himself seemed absorbed in your tale of your 'victory'. Each one of the bore a mixed expression of astonishment and humility. What was important was that they seemed to be believing every word you spoke "M-my liege, you truly are the greatest King and warrior to ever rule Dremoria! A true legend! I humbled to be in your presence!" The captain vibrantly praised. With the assistance from the two soldiers, you soon found yourself in front of a massive gate made of a heavy, dark wood reinforced with the same black metal on the now deceased soldiers' armor.

Standing above the gate, were two soldiers patiently awaiting your arrival "Open the gate!" The captain's voice was firm and loud, booming clearly through the air. Both of the soldiers brought their right hand, closed into a fist, to their heart and turned around to face the inside "Open the gate!" They both relayed the order. It took mere moments until the large gate doors began to lurch inward to create a large enough passage for the four. Garlock was hurried inside where he would see a small military camp attached to the gate house. He was brought directly to one of the larger tents, in which there was several cots and medical supplies. A single attendant was checking a table with some medical instruments on it, a noticeable collar was tightened around his neck.

The captain made their presence known "Alskyra, you will drop whatever it is you are doing right now! His majesty needs your immediate attention!" Alskyra nearly jumped out of his skin at the sudden noise, before turning around to see you for himself "O-oh your majesty, I-I didn't know-" A aura of fear loomed of the man, who did not have any features similar to the soldiers around him. He was cut off violently by the captain "Shut it! Just get to work!" He aggressively ordered "A-alright, please p-place his majesty here." Alskyra softly gestured to an clean, empty cot. The two soldiers gently placed you on a cot, then performed the same fist-to-heart salute the guards on the gate did before leaving through the tent's entrance and taking position just outside.

"I apologize your greatness. This slave is the only healer we have available. We will make sure he does not try anything." He showed clear disgust towards Alskyra, before backing off to let the healer get to work. Alskyra walked over, his posture somewhat bent, and began to slowly look over your injuries

The woman in white continued on her path towards Helena's direction, not once attempting to check the surroundings around her. Suddenly, she stopped completely. That was when a voice, flowing like water, surrounded Helena coming from every direction "Si ea'i fina?" It inquired, though no one else would be able to hear the words the feminine voice spoke "Pha'ir sia'i vi fina yeaeg?" A second, seemingly different question was asked. The language was nothing known to the Cathedral and every word had an almost tangible power attached to it.

@Achronum

The edges of her lips curved into a slight smile as she gave small nod. When Volaris asked his question, she took a moment to think before speaking "This forest lies on the very edge of Dremorian controlled territory and borders two other kingdoms. Farther North is the kingdom of Armintium. It is the greatest of the human kingdoms and is home to the Order of Paladins. West is the floating isles of Anserith, a kingdom with which Dremoria has been in countless wars with. South lies the Dremorian Empire. If you head out far to the east, you will enter Altamea. I do not know much about them." She seemed a little ashamed by the last part.

Her gaze drifted towards the ground in a sorrowful manner for a long few seconds, before she attempted to hide it behind another weak smile "All this talk of other places...makes me realize I no longer have a home." She shook her head strongly, as if to physically rid herself of the thought "Nevermind that, do you have any other questions?" Her voice softer than it was moments ago.
