Bio

Gay, he/him, Autistic

I’m Crimson Flame and I’m addicted to RPing. But sometimes ADHD kicks in, and it takes me longer to reply to things than it should. If I’m taking too long to respond, feel free to say something. Just don’t be rude about it.

There are a bunch of RPs I like. Pokémon, Digimon, Fantasy, Superhero, it would take too long to list them all. I’m not a fan of Horror or Apocalypse settings though.

I have a particular type of character I like making. Look through my Character Sheet thread, and see if you notice what a lot of my characters have in common.

If you guys want to do overseers I’m open to the possibility. You can check the OOC tab first post for what types are still on the table. The only two I’d veto are Water and Ghost because I have already planned the twists I want to do for those two characters specifically and it’s pretty big lore-wise.

Where? It just says the cities.

I’m tempted to make George’s dad an Overseer, but I don’t know if I want to commit to that…
If I played an Overseer, wouldn’t I eventually have to battle myself?
Posted. Made a mistake and @ed myself instead of @LuckyBlackCat though.

George breathed a sigh of relief when Devastator had been cured from poison after eating some special Pokémon food. This then came with a stern talking to from Rory about being more careful. How was he supposed to account being poisoned by a rogue Ekans? George shrugged. Whatever, what’s done is done, and everything worked out fine. He made a note to himself to stock up on Pokémon medicine once he had money…

After that disaster was over, they had some time to look around the route. George picked up Devastator and sat him on his shoulder. Figuring he should take the time to look at the Pokémon he just caught, he released the Ekans from the Pokeball, and scanned her entry with his dexwatch.

Ekans: The Snake Pokémon - It sneaks through grass without making a sound and strikes unsuspecting prey from behind.

As soon as she appeared out of the ball, the snake Pokémon bared her fangs and hissed. Angry that she had been captured…

“Yeah well, like it or not, you are a part of this team now. So I guess I should give you a name. How about Venom?”

The snake Pokémon simply hissed, and slithered around as if looking for prey.

George sighed. “Great, nice to meet you too…” She would be a challenge, but he was a Pendragon. He knew he could do it. He then turned to Orianna. “And what Pokémon did you get?”

This entire situation was absolutely horrible. Bede had been traversing this unfamiliar world for months now. Somehow, he wound up in the desert. When he finally found a town to stay in, they refused him entry because he wasn’t female. The nerve of them! He had been trained by Opal and was the pride of the Galar region. What did his gender have to do with anything?

So it was back to traversing the hot, sandy desert…. If it wasn’t for Hatenna, and her chipper attitude in spite of the situation, and the fact he managed to find an inn to stay in that night, he might have gone insane! That morning, he found a place called the Tumbleweed Saloon. It would have to do he supposed. At least it was somewhere to eat and figure out his next move.

He entered the Saloon, and got himself and Hatenna something to eat. It was a miracle this place accepted Pokedollars as payment. In the middle of their meal, a ragtag group of misfits walked in. None of them looked like they belonged together. Bede would have just ignored them, but then then one of them said something about getting out of the desert on a train. His interest was piqued. So, Bede confidently approached the group. “Good morning. I’m Bede. The most Elite Pokémon Trainer in all of the Galar region!” He said while flipping his bangs. “You better remember it! Did I hear you correctly? There is actually a train to get out of this desert?”
- What would you dress up as for Halloween, or your world's equivalent thereof?

George Pendragon III Pokemon Rust

I’m a little too old to go trick or treating now. But when I was younger, my mom made me a Hoennian Salamence costume! It was the best! Who knew I would get my own Bagon a few years later.

What is your favorite scent?”
So… how do I start?
CS edited. I just put strategic as the third strength. Don’t know how helpful that will be.

Overall, pretty good. It might be just me, but the image seems broken. I would recommend listing out the weaknesses with bullets, and I'd encourage you to add two more things that he's good at, just so he doesn't start super disadvantaged. The most notable thing is the Power section, since rather than have a power he has a companion, who has the powers. If you like, we could rework things just a little. You could keep track of his Pokemon separately, not with their own sheets of course, but just in a little list either in or after the Inventory section with their moves and weaknesses. For Bede's Power, we could lean into how things work in the Pokemon games themselves, so that he isn't totally disadvantaged just by being a normal guy.

How about a Power called Pokemon Trainer, which means two things: as long as he has a Pokemon out and fighting on his behalf, and damage taken by Bede will be dealt to his Pokemon instead. And if his Pokemon's health is depleted, it will always faint instead of dying, and be returned to his Pokeball, which would have to be destroyed while the Pokemon is fainted to kill it. This is just spitballing, but I think it would be fair given how things work in Pokemon.

Changed the picture. Is it showing up now?

I wasn’t sure what to include with the things he’s good at since the games focus so much on battling? Maybe I could include raising and caring for Pokémon?

I’m going to add the Pokémon Trainer power. I figured as he levels up he would gain additional Pokemon, or the Pokémon he has get stronger and evolves and stuff.

@Crimson Flame (psst, consider giving Bede some starting money. You'll thank yourself later!)

Do they accept Pokedollars in the World of Light?
