My issue with GMing is once the novelty of the new idea wears off, I have no idea what to do next, and everyone is looking at me to progress the narrative.

I still haven’t watched TLOK. It’s on my long list of shows and movies to binge.

Bio

Gay, he/him, Autistic

I’m Crimson Flame and I’m addicted to RPing. But sometimes ADHD kicks in, and it takes me longer to reply to things than it should. If I’m taking too long to respond, feel free to say something. Just don’t be rude about it.

There are a bunch of RPs I like. Pokémon, Digimon, Fantasy, Superhero, it would take too long to list them all. I’m not a fan of Horror or Apocalypse settings though.

I have a particular type of character I like making. Look through my Character Sheet thread, and see if you notice what a lot of my characters have in common.

Valerian did not have time to react to the first Mimikyu. A second Mimikyu jumped onto his face. For the third time today, Valerian screamed. His voice was muffled underneath the haunted fabric. “Unhand this instant! I’m royalty!” He stumbled around trying to get the thing off. Knocking over a display of Pokeballs in the process.

Aurelia Rose and Camellia did nothing to help. They stood there (or hovered in Aurelia Rose’s case) giggling like giddy schoolgirls as they watched the drama unfold.

Finally, Valerian managed to pry the Ghost/Fairy off of his face, and held it at arm’s length. He panted, and his hair got fluffed up in the scuffle. “You are adorable, and I am an advocate for Fairy types, so I won’t hold this against you. But if you wish to haunt me, then do it properly. As my partner.”

Valerian reached into his bag, pulled out a pokeball, and gently booped it to the Mimikyu’s head. The Poké Ball opened with a flash of red light and swallowed the small Pokémon whole. It dropped to the floor, where it started shaking. Valerian looked at it, hands clasped in prayer. “Come now, darling. Don’t be difficult.”

Time is being taken

The League was actually letting them take a vacation. It almost didn’t feel real. No missions, no near-death experiences, no team drama, just sun, sand, ocean, and hot guys.

Zach, wearing purple swim trunks with a constellation pattern, was already waist deep in the water. ”Okay, I officially vote we move the base here.” he called over his shoulder, glancing back at the others with a wide grin. “No better place for hero work than paradise, am I right?”

He floated on his back for bit, and flailed just a bit too dramatically before sinking under. He resurfaced now soaking wet, and he just laughed. He swam back to shore, flopped onto his beach towel, and put on his sunglasses.“Someone tell me why we don’t do this every week? After everything we’ve been through, we deserve this!”

Of course, a part of him knew better. Missions always came when you least expected them. But for now, Zach magically conjured a fruity drink, and had zero intention of thinking about any of it.
Same. I’ll make whatever work.

OBVIOUSLY, Finn would respect Sully's ambition and help his new dormmate in his quest for babes, right? He totally wouldn't disapprove of his objectification of women...right, Crimson?

Also, question! What type of signature weapon are we eyeing, guys? Unless you wanna keep it lowkey for now, that's fine too. I want something up close and personal, like twin daggers or claws!

I’m tempted to give Finn a baton. Keeps the cheerleader theme.
Tentatively interested.
I forgot to tag @Omega Man in my post since Eli interacted with Judah.
Eli Reyes/Spellbound

When he first started attending the Academy, Eli couldn’t be happier. He bragged to his Abuela, and was bouncing up and down with joy. Now, the first weekend of Superhero Academy was halfway over, and the excitement of being here was starting to lose its shine under the weight of drills, lectures, and the constant reminder that he was technically too young to do any of this on his own.

The lessons were fine. The written test wasn’t too bad. But the hand-to-hand stuff? He’d tried to keep up, but he was lanky and awkward. He had never been good at fighting with his fists, and being graded on it made his anxiety worse. Even though no one said it out loud, he could feel some of the other recruits already saw him as the squishy magic kid who needed backup. He didn’t like that feeling.

Eli slumped down onto a bench in the courtyard, letting out a sigh. Maybe they’re right. Maybe I’m not cut out for this superhero stuff. He tugged at the edge of his sleeve. But I don’t want to quit. I can’t. He had powers. He had potential. That had to count for something… Right?

Eli looked around and spotted Judah in the distance, heading toward the vending machines alone, after talking with Supercop, looking unamused. Eli stood and jogged over. “Hey,” he said, catching up. “You good?”
This would have been a different post if the babe board had been said out loud.
