Bio

I am a Roleplayer with an interest in science fiction and fantasy, with a preference for Casual. I have been roleplaying for several years, and have even taken a stab at running a few RPs.

Outside the Guild, I am an Australian science student, gamer, musician and roleplayer (that's right, IRL too).

@Cyclone, awesome post, but wouldn't that explosion have thrown away most of the lava? @Eviledd1984, what did you intend with it?

I'm actually set on Crafting (Smithing), I'm not as big on Metallurgy. So I'll be making a Demi of Smithing.
But yeah, I know that it's under Teknall's thing, so I figured as much that Teknall would be the dad. No idea who the mother will be, though.

Call it what you will. Smithing and Metallurgy are both Portfolios concerned with the manipulation of metal. Portfolios tend to be rather broad, so those two are close enough to be identical.

As for the mother, I don't know either. We'll have to wait for offers.

Alright.
I can rework it to be a Demi of Metalworking and Woodworking.

For Metalworking, he would have the skills for being a Smith, Jeweler, and Founder. In Woodworking he'd be able to do Carpentry, Carving, uh... Furniture. That sort of stuff.
So he'd be production of things, but he'd still need to go out and get the materials the old fashioned way. Sound good? I'd like to keep it in the same vein as making things.

As the Omnipotent Sphere said, that is two Portfolios and no Domain.
Essentially, you want to be a demigod of the Crafting domain (welp, there goes my monopoly), desired portfolio of Metallurgy/Smithing/Metalworking (they're all basically the same thing). Kho is saying that this choice (basically, anything in the Crafting Domain) has very strong overlap with Teknall (who is a Crafting (Masonry) god, planning to expand into (Carpentry/Woodworking) and (Metallurgy/Smithing/Metal Working), and more).

If your heart is really set on Crafting (Metallurgy), then you can. If you take that portfolio, Teknall shall be your demigod's father (who else would it be?), and he will take you as his apprentice. We just need to figure out a mother.
Heyo guys, I got voluntold to join this.
I'm interested in a Demigod of Smithing and Metallurgy.

From what I've been told, I bring this idea up, and whichever God wants me picks me up and that stuff happens.

That raises an interesting question:
@Kho, two gods can't share the same Portfolio. Can a god and a demigod have the same portfolio, though? Or is that also not allowed?
If not, that is a shame. I wanted Metallurgy. In that case, we should sort out a way for Skyrte's demigod to be Teknall's kid.
Ooohhhhhh, you mean in real life. I thought you were talking about the rp, which is why I said thousands.

This RP universe is based rather strongly in real-world physics. Most events will happen with the same mechanisms and timescales as in real life. Therefore, the present age of our RP universe is billions of years.
About how much time in total has passed since the Big Bang, would you say?

I'd say billions of years.

@poog the pig, Teknall isn't especially interested in worshippers (he'll happily have worshippers, though), but he is interested in civilisations. If you're going to be ruling as god-king over the first civilisation of Galbar, Teknall will be extremely interested.
@Cyclone, I love how you depict the change within Zephyrion's personality itself. His opinion and mood swings just as you would expect it to for a god of change. Good work.
@Double Capybara
While Teknall stood there and watching the Universe pass by, Illunbar flew over to the Celestial Citadel and complemented him on his work. “I have to say Teknall, I underestimated you. I thought you would be limited to the brute creations but now I can see that you are a master of the refined arts too.”
"Thanks," Teknall replied, "I take pride in my work. After all, you cannot spell 'artisan' without 'art'."
Well, I finally collected all the images I need for my dreamworld in its earliest stage.

I was going for interactions before doing it but everyone just dismisses Ilunabar so I might as well get busy

I'm sorry. I meant to respond to Illunbar, but when it came to actually writing my post I forgot. Shall I edit that in for you?
Actually, I'm going to edit it in anyway. I'll point it out to you when I'm done.

Hmm...

Well, I'm afraid I can't argue with you, as I have no skill with physics. But I will say that I was originally planning on just one moon, but everyone urged me to make many small ones for the various gods

Regardless, we can deal with it in the future. Until that point, if there is any problem regarding the orbit, Vulamera will probably correct it either with the use of straight divine power, or by carefully placed meteors

Is that plan agreeable with everyone?

Yeah, that works.
