I am a Roleplayer with an interest in science fiction and fantasy, with a preference for Casual. I have been roleplaying for several years, and have even taken a stab at running a few RPs.

With search temporarily disabled, I can't just pull out posts from the depths of the OOC. But it started with Kho describing my use of scientific language as 'Elvish' (IIRC, it was when I did the post where I started making Teknall's Workshop). The joke stuck.
@Dawnscroll@Muttonhawk, coincidentally, I'm working on a post with Kinesis, and I've briefly covered what she has been doing all these years. Among those things is making mechanical clocks (and other devices) and giving them to people, just because she can.
Relevant to that, @Kho@Cyclone@Rtron, what is the status on @Commodore's character (Jydshi) being accepted?
@Dawnscroll, I've noticed a couple of things regarding Logos.
Firstly, one of Logos' biggest fears is the heat death of the Universe, which is a result of increasing entropy. Yet most of the regular Laws of Physics do little to prevent the advance of entropy. However, magic, the Gap and the force of Change are all mechanisms by which one could theoretically remove entropy from the Universe and prevent a heat death (other risks notwithstanding). Yet, ironically, it are these things which Logos hates the most about the design of the Universe.
Secondly, in Divinus OOC canon, the language of physics and mathematics is Elvish. Does this make Logos the Elf King?

Would something like a field that makes others understand all languages so long as they stay close to her work? Or if we stretch it a bit maybe a trinket that loses the effect after a while.

It feels like a technicality to work around, so I wouldn't waste points on it that you could be using to do something much cooler. A free point for two enchanted earrings or something that interpret any language, bam.
Demigods don't get Freepoints. You could spend a quarter of a Might, though. Or not spend anything and just cast Comprehend Languages in Helvana's capacity as a witch.

Spending Might will probably be enough to make it permanent. Helvana could probably get away with doing it for free for a short-term effect.
Considering the distance Hel and Co traveled I guess the local language is different to that of Lloyd and Gwyn... Need to think on how to work on that.
I see two fairly straight-forward solutions:
1) Translator. Get a translator. Either Helvana can translate herself using god-knowledge, or you can find a Sculptor to join the party.
2) Magic. Helvana is literally a witch. Cast Comprehend Languages or something.

Will there be an option to edit the underlying tags directly via plain text? Such a feature would serve at least two useful purposes: it would allow for precise control when necessary; it would allow for creating a post in an external editor (eg. a collaborative document writer) with formatting tags already in place so they do not have to be added afterwards.

Some other individuals can also speak the divine language, depending how attuned they are to divinity, although they tend to be the exception rather than the rule. Bard Fiberslayer, a hain chieftain, is one of them.
