Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A link to some of my past characters, which I need because static tabs do not take up internet.

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

@LokiLeo789 Well, Dirk's started trudging toward where he blew a hole in the wall. Maybe Rayne sees the Red Hoods moving in his direction and flies toward them? If nothing else, he's leaving a massive trail behind himself.
@RyoRyoRyoken True enough. The Red Hoods and Golden Fleeces haven't even met yet. Dirk's probably not going to be notably enthralled by Same's figure, to be fair, because enslavement weirdness, but maybe he'll at least point it out. And I guess his own figure is probably swamped under lots of clothing at this stage too, so.
@RyoRyoRyoken Oh. I was going to keep making jokes about Samehana and her generally-excessive lewdness and whatnot, but okay.
@RyoRyoRyoken It also kind of looks like she's engaging in, coughhackwheeze, acts in that picture. Did you crop another picture down to get that picture, Ryo?

When Dirk had first learned that snow existed, he'd wondered what it actually was. When he'd learned that it was made of tiny ice crystals, he'd wondered how exactly so much frozen water could exist in one place without it all turning into a solid ice block. And now, looking at the snow of Drum Island, it was a bit more obvious that all the individual snowflakes were made of ice, but seemingly fell on top of one another without squeezing the other flakes below them into a single mass. Which was interesting, if chilly to observe. Even his own footsteps didn't compact the ice very much, but he imagined the obvious trail would make his Divine Purpose hellishly ineffective until they all got into the prison. However, Dirk's coat was more than thick enough to keep him warm, and he had to admit that the white covering on the ground was fairly pretty. He was just wondering whether anything could actually be done with the snow when an entire town suddenly exploded. Shadowy explosions, at that.

Whilst Jax's warning about avalanches was relayed - though it occurred to Dirk that if the sirens were in place at all, there was probably a negligible chance of their causing any more snow to collapse than the detonations had already managed - Dirk found himself looking around the rest of the island, in particular at the prison itself, and just caught a few licks of flame emanating round the corner of one wall, and the distant sound of yet another explosion. More normal-looking than had just engulfed the town, from this distance. He stared for a moment, then tapped the shoulder of one of his fellow crew members and pointed out that 'Something happened over there,' before beginning to trudge his way toward the prison, and toward whatever had caused that sudden burst of fire.

@RyoRyoRyoken No, but like... really prominent, in your last post. Y'know, because she's not almost naked in the picture you were using before.
Wow, everything suddenly exploded whilst I was gone. Alright, let's figure out how that's going to go. (Also, abrupt shark tits. Can't say I was expecting that, Ryo.)
@Heat Excuse you friendo but if you didn't notice the Red Claw's backstory and murder gauntlets
@mattmanganon Uh, I don't know about SoB Terminators, since I'm pretty sure Sisters of Battle don't even use Terminator Armour in canon; however, a Deathwatch Black Shield Chaplain sounds like a pretty good plan to me. It fills up a Chamber Militant slot that might not otherwise contain anything, at any rate, though you'd have to figure out which Inquisitor's retinue the character is part of by talking to the players who are vying for Inquisitor slots. Or he could be in Ravenstein's retinue, of course, but you'd want to take that up with @Flagg, not me. And remember, we have quality requirements for Chamber Militants and Inquisitors. Gotta follow those quality requirements.

@POOHEAD189 Tonight would be preferable, I think. Thank you for your co-operation.
Dirk Messir

A month had passed, a month of glorious, terrifying freedom. Kanki's death had been mourned by Sunny and Jax; Dirk, having not known the fishman personally, and not really knowing how to act about the topic, remained quiescent about it for the most part. Slaves died, constantly, and they weren't mourned by anyone, least of all their fellow slaves. In less than a week, Dirk had already grown fond of his fellow crew members - Sunny was assuredly the same sort of nice as Chipper had been, and Jax seemed similar, though perhaps in a more reserved fashion. Even the new doctor, Fadel, seemed friendly, though he was completely silent.

So he'd revealed his Devil Fruit at about that time, and described an idea he had had to use it to get rich. What followed were a series of sales to various rich nobles on various islands, followed by treks into the buildings on Dirk's part to reacquire the Devil Fruit every single time. Each was fraught with peril, and the possibility that his Divine Purpose might fail him at that very moment; yet each was successful in its goals, and enough money was made to purchase a brand new ship, the Rose Horizon, far better suited to its task than the previous one had been.

But before that, there had been Reverse Mountain. If the retheft of the Devil Fruit had been peril-fraught, the battles that took place against various Marine crews during their bid to pass over those disturbed waters had been far worse. More than once did Dirk find himself hidden from sight only by the back end of a Marine soldier proper, and the old ship had been all but destroyed by the time they'd made it to the port that Rose Horizon had been constructed on.

But now that was over. The Devil Fruit remained in Dirk's coat, he'd discovered that he'd acquired a bounty of one hundred million Beli - nearly three times over what Sunny himself had been granted, likely for having killed an important person and stolen a Devil Fruit - and as of now, they were officially in the Grand Line.

And his captain was proposing they head to a prison island. Dirk liked the guy, but...

But he probably knew what he was doing. He was certainly strong enough to not be taken out so readily. And Dirk knew his Divine Purpose was generally reliable.

"I'm not fond of the idea," Dirk stated bluntly, after several moments of staring at Bogard. "I don't want to get captured again. But I'd like to be helpful. And maybe I'll be needed. Maybe my Divine Purpose will help shield you too. So I'll go in with you."
