Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A link to some of my past characters, which I need because static tabs do not take up internet.

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

So what's everyone doing, anyway? It seems like activity for this game's... I mean, been low for a while, no thanks to me, but moreso than usual at present. Anyway, @Guardian Angel Haruki, I made a post; if you want to respond to that, any time is good.

Oh. I guess it's not that interested in fighting us after all. Hell, maybe if I follow after it, it'll lead us to a more interesting place than this, such as the place we were probably already going. I put the gun away again, and begin following after it, again beckoning the other two in our party to follow on.

'oh, now i recognise what that is! its a... a slonglo! yeah, that!'

I have no idea if it's actually a Slonglo, I've never seen it before in my life. For all I know, it could be a regular living cake. Or a Flee, a small insect-like monster well-known for its capacity to run away from fights when threatened, which has poorly disguised itself as cake to try and avoid attention in the first place. But then it made those cake tendrils, didn't it? My God, could it be that what we just witnessed is the next step in the evolution of the Flee, known only as the Flake?! Oh, what an awful sight to behold!

Oh, and then Rodney wants us to follow him after it. I guess I do that. Trepidationally, because of the Flake. Bwuhuhurgh, how spooky.

Dirk Messir

Apparently, his Divine Purpose finally did its job. After hiding under the vines, not much else happened to Dirk until a hole opened up in the branches beneath him, sending him inexplicably sliding down into the core of the tree, right next to Fadel. A bit of time passed where Fadel was pre-occupied with something outside, and then the tree started to vibrate, and Fadel began to perform his doctorly check-up on Dirk. Moments passed, and the doctor abruptly forced Dirk's arm back into place with a loud popping noise; it hurt badly, but it certainly wasn't bad enough to make him do much more than flinch. Afterwards, some form of plant was given to him, apparently to eat; Dirk put it in his mouth and began chewing- the pain relief was much-appreciated, even if he could handle a few full-body bruises- only to stop when the tree opened up, revealing a giant hand of some sort.

Stepping out on to the hand, Dirk looked around himself as it moved off, realised what Fadel had done and the scale he had been working at, and found himself even more humbled than he had already been today: that statue was huge. This was beyond anything Dirk had attempted to comprehend before, a fact he'd barely registered when the tree had just been a tree, albeit a humongous one, possibly because he'd actually been within its confines then. And apparently, it had dealt with the monkey-creature easily. There was, it seemed, a very long way to go before Dirk could match his teammates in raw strength, and he internally upgraded that promise to grow stronger into a vow. He had to become stronger. At this point, it looked like that was the only way to fulfill his Divine Purpose, and that he'd inevitably die if he failed to do so...

Was that his Divine Purpose, then? To grow strong? Perhaps even to become the strongest being in existence? He considered it, but... the goal felt incomplete to him. Gaining strength was perhaps the means, but for now, the end remained hidden to him. Either way, however, increasing his power could only mean good things. He supposed he'd have to talk to his fellow crew members about training, in that case... just as soon as they all arrived. Not everyone was here yet, so he'd have to wait for a moment.

@NachoBachoPacho ...which is fine, because the pirates need to escape anyway. Hahahaha, you chose the wrong team, Marine scum.
@NachoBachoPacho In my first RP, I was thirteen or fourteen years old. I was an obnoxious little shit, probably because I was a teenager. Times have fortunately changed since then, and I can only assume @JmerlRobot is at least a young adult.

Also, Anaru's gonna tear his damn arm off if he's not careful, mate. He's already got widening cuts in his arm and back, you know.
@JmerlRobot Unless Anaru destroys it with his ultimate attack, you might as well leave it in place. The Marines can't exactly take it down, after all.

EDIT: And uh, what's with the double-blank IC posts, Jmerl?
@LokiLeo789 ...and none of those are presently on the island. There are no admirals, fleet admirals, commanders-in-chief or Gorosei present on Drum Island, so far as I'm aware. I can then only assume they are, in fact, not there. So.
@LokiLeo789 A Buster Call is intended to completely destroy everything within, like, a ten mile radius of whatever target it's called upon, to the point of killing evacuating civilians in case they're harbouring pirates or something. No way that'd be called in upon a prison island. Also, save some very rare exceptions, exactly ten people in the world have the authority to make a Buster Call, and none of those are actually present. So.
My internet is being an asshat by claiming it's perfectly functional, then only loading a couple of pages at all, and then only semi-properly. So if I don't get a post out today, that's why.
@LokiLeo789 Oh. Well, uh. Adrian still needs people to fight, so... yeah.
